Using the spectroscopic method of diffuse reflection in the region between 0.5 and 6 eV, we investigate the degradation of reflectivity in thermal vacuum treatment of white anodic-oxide coatings on an Al alloy (Al–AOC) that are used as thermoregulating coatings of space vehicles. It is established that at T≥350 K absorption bands at 4.05 and ∼4.7 eV resembling those induced by UV irradiation in vacuum appear in the diffuse reflection spectra of Al–AOC. The kinetics of the increase of absorption in heating Al–AOC with a constant rate correlates with the rate of gas liberation from specimens. We assume that a thermally activated reaction with the formation of color centers identical to those produced by the photoeffect occur in Al–AOC in vacuum at T≥350 K. The diffuse reflection spectroscopy technique was used to investigate the color centers (CC) in the products of thermolysis and photolysis of disperse Al(OH)3 in a vacuum. The spectra were recorded in situ in the region of 2.5–6.0 eV and 4000–12,000 cm−1. It was found that in thermolysis of Al(OH3) production of Al is accompanied, by transformation of the IR spectra of the compound and overtone vibrations of OH groups and by the appearance of an absorption band (AB) at 4.0 eV with a shoulder at 4.4 eV. A similar AB is induced by UV irradiation of Al(OH)3 in a vacuum. In the position of the maximum and shape, the AB at 4.0 eV in aluminum oxide produced by thermolysis of Al(OH)3 coincides with the AB of CC responsible for light- and temperature-stimulated degradation of white anode oxide coatings on Al(Al-AOC). This suggests that in Al-AOC, CC are formed in decay of structural OmHn groups. In Al oxide and in Al-AOC, their nature is discussed with the use of data on optical absorption of radiation-induced defects in Al2O3. Mesoporous titania coatings (MTCs) with a pore size of 4.75 nm were prepared on Ti6Al4V substrates by a sol-gel process, and then irradiated with UV light at room temperature for 2 h. The effects of mesoporous structure and UV irradiation on the in vitro bioactivity were investigated. Simulated body fluid (SBF) tests reveal that the MTCs exhibit a high apatite-forming ability, which may be attributed to the following reasons: (i) the BET surface area of the MTCs is ∼190 m2/g, resulting in a greater density of Ti-OH groups than that without mesoporous structure; (ii) theoretical analysis reveals that the mesoporous structure can improve the driving force and nucleation rate of apatite precipitation in SBF. As compared with the MTCs, the UV-irradiated coatings do not exhibit any change in phase components and surface morphologies. However, the apatite-forming ability is higher on the UV irradiation coatings than on the MTCs because of the increase of Ti-OH groups and the improvement of wettability after UV irradiation. In addition, the investigation of the MG63 cell proliferation on the both substrates was performed. The results indicate that the MTCs before and after UV irradiation exhibit a good biocompatibility and are fit for the MG63 cell proliferation.  相似文献

利用X射线光电子能谱(XPS)仪对激活后的GaAs真空电子源进行了随时间衰减变化的XPS分析,分析发现了电子源阴极表面各元素百分含量随时间的变化,揭示了杂质气体吸附造成的偶极矩方向的改变是电子源灵敏度显著下降的主要原因.基于上述结论,通过分析真空系统中杂质气体的吸附过程,推导并得到了GaAs电子源衰减模型.该模型从理论上揭示了GaAs电子源的指数衰减规律以及寿命与真空度的反比关系,与实验现象完全一致. 关键词: 电子源 X射线光电子能谱 衰减模型 真空度  相似文献

By the method of the optical spectrsocopy of diffuse reflection in the region 0.5–5.0 eV, accelerated aging of pigment compositions with synthetic materials used in restoration of paint layers of paintings is investigated. Composition containing pigments zinc and titanium oxides (white pigments), chromium oxide and copper carbonate (green pigments), and iron oxide (brown pigment) and reinforcing materials vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer, fluorolon F-42L, and polyvinyl alcohol are investigated. It is established that the appearance of color in pigment impregnation and subsequent heating is observed only in the compositions of reinforcing materials with white pigments and occurs as a result of heterogeneous reactions that lead to the formation in the pigment of color centers bonded by oxygen vacancies. Degradation of azo dye Acid Orange 7 (AO7) by zero-valent aluminum (ZVAl) in combination with ultrasonic irradiation was investigated. The preliminary studies of optimal degradation methodology were conducted with sole ultrasonic, sole ZVAl/air system, ultrasonication + ZVAl/air system (US-ZVAl). In ZVAl/air system, the degradation of AO7 could almost not be observed within 30 min. The degradation of AO7 by ZVAl/air system was obviously enhanced under ultrasound irradiation, and the enhancement is mainly attributed to that the production of hydroxyl radicals in ultrasound-ZVAl process was much higher than that in sole ultrasonic or in sole ZVAl/air system. The variables considered for the effect of degradation were the power of ultrasound, the initial concentration of AO7, as well as the initial pH value and the dosage of zero-valent aluminum. The results showed that the decolorization rate increased with the increase of power density and the dosage of ZVAl, but decreased with the increase of initial pH value and initial concentration of AO7. More than 96% of AO7 removal was achieved within 30 min under optimum operational conditions (AO7: 20 mg/L, ZVAl: 2 g/L, pH: 2.5, ultrasound: 20 kHz, 300 W). This study demonstrates that ultrasound-ZVAl process can effectively decolorize the azo dye AO7 in wastewater.  相似文献

Coated and dispersed nanoparticulate zinc oxide is shown to improve ultra violet (UV) stability of polypropylene and high-density polyethylene without changing its characteristic absorption spectrum in the visible region (400–800-nm). The performance of these nanoparticulate UV stabilizers is compared to conventional hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS). QUV accelerated weathering is used to simulate long-term exposure. Positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS) is used to provide an indication of physical and chemical changes due to accelerated weathering and is shown to have potential for detecting changes well before other techniques. Visual observation, optical microscopy, carbonyl index, yellowness index and PALS indicate that nanoparticulate zinc oxide gives superior resistance to UV degradation compared to organic HALS at appropriate loading levels.  相似文献

Rizatriptan benzoate is a 5HT 1B/1Dreceptor agonist which is prescribed for the treatment of migraine.In the present study new,simple,specific ultraviolet spectrophotometric method for rizatriptan benzoate was developed and validated.Forced degradation studies were carried out in acidic,alkaline and neutral pH conditions.The absorbance maxima peak was found to be 224 nm and linearity was observed in the concentration range of 0.5~2.5μg·mL-1 with regression coefficient value of 0.998 8.The method was validated and found to be precise.The percent recovery for rizatriptan benzoate was found to be 98.576±0.202.The bulk drug was found to be stable in neutral and acidic pH conditions but got degraded in 1N NaOH solution.  相似文献

Using the method of diffuse reflection spectroscopy, we studied thermal degradation of the compositions of white pigments with a number of synthetic polymers intended for restoration of paint layers of paintings. It has been established that, starting with 340 K, the heating of polymer compositions with TiO2, regardless of the polymer type, induces absorption in the pigment at 2.88 and 2.50 eV, which can be referred to color centers (CC) fixed to oxygen vacancies. In the spectra of the compositions of fluorine-containing polymers with MgO and Al2O3, absorption bands in the blue region, which are induced when T > 315–320 K, can be ascribed to the hole color centers in oxides. The measurement of temperature dependences for the rate of increase in the absorption bands in programmed heating permitted determination of the activation energies of thermal degradation E td. The dependence of E td on the polymer type is attributed to the fact that reactions on the surface of pigments are limited by the activation of bonds in adsorbed macromolecules.  相似文献

The fluorescence emitted from the gamma-ray-irradiated polyallyl diglycol carbonate upon illumination by the 346 nm UV radiation is studied. The fluorescence spectra show two distinct phenomena, the variation of fluorescence wavelength and intensity with received irradiation dose. These variations are found to be correlated to the change in the dielectric constant and the change in absorption. The dielectric constant is measured at three guiding frequencies, while the absorption is predicted with the reflected first and second diffractions of the excitation monochromator. The results support the donor-bridge-acceptor molecular origin of the fluorescence.  相似文献

The effect of electron irradiation with energy of 30?keV and fluence up to 7?×?1016?cm?2 on diffuse reflection spectra in situ of coatings based on ZnO powders unmodified and modified with zirconium dioxide and aluminum oxide nanopowders was investigated. The higher radiation stability of coatings based on modified pigments in comparison to unmodified pigments has been established. A significant recovery of the reflection spectra of irradiated coatings after exposure to residual vacuum and air was shown.  相似文献

The effect of high-dose irradiation by electron beam with nanosecond duration and by gamma-rays on thermoluminescence (TL) yield of anion-defective dosimetric Al2O3:С crystals is studied. It is shown that in a wide dose range up to 10 kGy no significant changes in the TL curve shape and the temperature position of the main dosimetric peak (T = 460 K) are observed. The TL yield of this peak is in saturation in the high-dose range 5–80 kGy. Then anomalous increase in TL yield is registered at the dose growth up to 800 kGy. With that an intensive band appears in the green spectrum region in the photoluminescence spectrum. The role of aggregate defects forming F2-type centers with the increase of TL yield in Al2O3:С crystals under high-dose irradiation is discussed.  相似文献

A radiation-temperature coupling model of optical fiber attenuation spectrum has been developed. The spectrum in Ge/P co-doped fiber ranging from 800 nm-1600 nm at different temperatures and doses was measured and decomposed according to the configurational coordinate model based on which the power-law model was employed to predict the intensity of the color center absorption band at different doses. And the fiber loss in space was predicted by the model. This work will benefit the application of fibers in a complicated radiation environment.  相似文献

Nano-multilayered Zr-O/Al-O coatings with alternating Zr-O and Al-O layers having a bi-layer period of 6-7 nm and total coating thickness of 1.0-1.2 μm were deposited using a cathodic vacuum arc plasma process on rotating Si substrates. Plasmas generated from two cathodes, Zr and Al, were deposited simultaneously in a mixture of Ar and O2 background gases. The Zr-O/Al-O coatings, as well as bulk ZrO2 and Al2O3 reference samples, were studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The XPS spectra were analyzed on the surface and after sputtering with a 4 kV Ar+ ion gun. High resolution angle resolved spectra were obtained at three take-off angles: 15°, 45° and 75° relative to the sample surface.It was shown that preferential sputtering of oxygen took place during XPS of bulk reference ZrO2 samples, producing ZrO and free Zr along with ZrO2 in the XPS spectra. In contrast, no preferential sputtering was observed with Al2O3 reference samples. The Zr-O/Al-O coatings contained a large amount of free metals along with their oxides. Free Zr and Al were observed in the coating spectra both before and after sputtering, and thus cannot be due solely to preferential sputtering.Transmission electron microscopy revealed that the Zr-O/Al-O coatings had a nano-multilayered structure with well distinguished alternating layers. However, both of the alternating layers of the coating contained of a mixture of aluminum and zirconium oxides and free Al and Zr metals. The concentration of Zr and Al changed periodically with distance normal to the coating surface: the Zr maximum coincided with the Al minimum and vice versa. However the concentration of Zr in both alternating layers was significantly larger than that of Al. Despite the large free metal concentration, the Knoop hardness, 21.5 GPa, was relatively high, which might be attributed to super-lattice formation or formation of a metal-oxide nanocomposite within the layers.  相似文献
