The two new nickel(II) complexes, [Ni(HL)(L)](NO3)?H2O (1) and [Ni(L)2] (2) (where HL/L = N′-[(E)-phenyl(pyridin-2-yl)methylidene]benzohydrazide), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopic, magnetic susceptibility, and cyclic voltammetric measurements. Single-crystal X-ray analysis of [Ni(HL)(L)](NO3)?H2O (1) and [Ni(L)2] (2) has revealed the presence of a distorted octahedral geometry around nickel(II). The X-ray and spectral characterizations have confirmed the existence of the keto-enol form of the ligands in the complexes. The electronic structures and spectral properties of the ligands and the complexes have been explained by DFT and TDDFT calculations. Superoxide dismutase activity of these complexes has also been measured.  相似文献

New inclusion compounds containing iron(II), cobalt(III), and nickel(II) complexes with the cyclic polyamine ligands cyclam and cyclen in the macrocyclic cavitand cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8]) were obtained: {trans-[Fe(Cyclam)(CO)(OCHO)]@CB[8]}Cl · 15H2O, {cis-[Co(Cyclen)(H2O)Cl]@CB[8]}Cl2 · 20H2O, and {cis-[Ni(Cyclen)(H2O)Cl]@CB[8]}Cl · 12H2O. According to X-ray diffraction data, the complexes are in the cavity of each CB[8] molecule. The complexes of the above molecular formulas were isolated in the solid state as supramolecular compounds with CB[8] and structurally characterized for the first time.  相似文献

Summary The reaction of warm alcoholic solutions of acetates of CoII, MnII, ZnII and NiII with 2, 6-diacetylpyridine andS-methylisothiosemicarbazide hydrogen iodide yielded the complexes: [Co(H2L)I2]·H2O, [Mn(H2L)(MeOH)2]I2, [Zn(H2L)(MeOH)I]I and [Ni(HL)]I, (H2L=the pentadentate pentaaza-ligand 2, 6-diacetylpyridine bis(S-methylisothiosemicarbazone)). The reaction of methanolic solutions of [Ni(HL)]I and NH4NCS or LiOAc.2H2O, give [Ni(HL)]NCS and NiL, respectively. For the complexes of CoII, MnII and ZnII, a pentagonal bipyramidal configuration is proposed, with H2L in the equatorial plane and two unidentate ligands (I and/or MeOH) in the axial positions. The complexes [Ni(HL)]X (X=I or NCS) and NiL probably have monomeric five- and dimeric six-coordinate structures, respectively, in which only the chelate ligand is involved in coordination.  相似文献

Summary Novel mixed-ligand nickel(II) complexes having octahedral stereochemistry and general formula [Ni-(acac)2(L)2]/[Ni(meacac)2(L)2]/[Ni(etacac)2(L)2] (where L=3-methyl-1-phenyl-2-pyrazoline-5-one, 2,3-dimethyl-4-methylaminomethanesulphonate sodium monohydrate-1-phenyl-3-pyrazoline-5-one or 4-amino-2,3-dimethyl-1-phenyl-3-pyrazoline-5-one) have been isolated by reacting [Ni(acac)2(H2O)2]/[Ni(meacac)2(H2O)2]/ [Ni(etacac)2(H2O)2] with L in alcohol. The derivatives have been characterized by analytical data, molar conductances, magnetic measurements, electronic and i.r. spectra.  相似文献

Syntheses of nickel(II) complexes of the tetraaza macrocycles 2,7-dichloro-1,3,6,8-tetraazacyclodecane (DCCD) and 2,8-dichloro-1,3,7,9-tetraazacyclododecane (DICD) and a copper(II) complex of 2,6,8,12,13,17-hexaazabicyclo[5.5.5]heptadecane (HBCH) are reported in the template condensation of trichloromethane with 1,2-diaminoethane or 1,3-diaminopropane. Formulation of the synthesized products [Ni(DCCD)(H2O)2]Cl2, [Ni(DICD)(H2O)2]Cl2?·?H2O, and [Cu3(HBCH)(H2O)6]Cl6, and the metal-free ligand hydrochloride HBCH?·?6HCl has been confirmed by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, and spectral studies. Potentiometric studies of nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes of HBCH and structurally similar 2,5,8,10,13,16,17,20,23-nonaazabicyclo[7.7.7]tricosane (NACT, earlier derived from trichloromethane and diethylenetriamine) have also been performed in the structural support of HBCH. In 1?:?1, metal?:?HBCH solution, copper(II) is coordinated to four N-donors of two-HN(CH2)3NH– groups of the ligand in a non-planar tetraaza cavity. The equilibrium constant value (log?K?=?15.41) for the reaction Cu2+?+?A???CuA2+ (A?=?HBCH) is in favor of the cyclic structure of the ligand. A high value (log?K?=?23.27) for corresponding reaction in the NACT system is due to conformational change in the ligand, where copper(II) organizes the macrocycle to form a nearly planar cavity in which the cation fits well.  相似文献

Abstract

Nickel(II) complexes with a combination of trithiocyanuric acid and diamines or triamines of composition [Ni(aepa)(ttcH)(H2O)], [Ni(dien)(ttcH)(H2O)], [Ni(dpta)(ttcH)(H2O)] H2O, [Ni(phen)2(ttcH)]H2O, [Ni(phen)3](ttcH)-5H2O and [Ni(1,2-pn)3](ttcH)-H2O (aepa = N-(2-aminoethyl)-1,3-propanediamine,dien = diethylenetriamine, dpta = dipropylenetnamine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, 1,2-pn = 1,2-diaminopropane. ttcH3 = trithiocyanuric acid) have been prepared. The compounds have been characterized by means of elemental analysis, IR and electronic spectroscopies and magnetochemical measurements. Selected complexes were studied by thermal analysis. The compounds can be characterized as distorted octahedral Ni(II) complexes. It was found that the trithiocyanuric dianion can act either as a bidentate ligand or be situated out of the coordination sphere of nickel. The crystal and molecular structure of [Ni(dpta)(ttcH)(H2O)] H2O was determined. Crystals are monoclinic, space group P21/n, with a = 20.316(4), b = 7.967(2), c = 21.401(4) Å, β = 99.23(3)°, K=3419.1(13)Å3, Z = 4, T = 293 K. The nickel(II) atom is six-coordinated by three nitrogen atoms from dipropylene-triamine, nitrogen and sulphur from trithiocyanuric acid, and an oxygen atom from a water molecule in a distorted octahedral geometry.  相似文献

A new hydrazone (LH2) derived from the condensation of 2‐(4‐fluorobenzamido)benzohydrazide with 3,5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐2‐hydroxybenzaldehyde was used to synthesize Co(III), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes. These were characterized using various physicochemical, thermal, spectroscopic and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction techniques. All the complexes crystallize in a monoclinic crystal system with P21/n space group and Z = 4. Structural studies of [Co(L)(LH)]?H2O indicate the presence of both amido and imidol tautomeric forms of the ligand, resulting in a distorted octahedral geometry around the Co(III) ion. On the other hand, in the [Ni(L)(DMF)] and [Cu(L)(H2O)] complexes, the ligand coordinates to the metal through imidol form resulting in distorted square planar geometry, in which the fourth position is occupied by the oxygen of coordinated DMF in [Ni(L)(DMF)] and by a water molecule in [Cu(L)(H2O)]. Hirshfeld surface calculations were performed to explore hydrogen bonding and C―H???π interactions. Molecular docking studies were carried out to study the interaction between the synthesized compounds and proteins (cyclooxygenase‐2 and 5‐lipoxygenase). The complexes along with the parent ligand were screened for their in vivo anti‐inflammatory activity, using the carrageenan‐induced rat paw oedema method. The complexes show significant anti‐inflammatory potencies.  相似文献

Two new trans-bis(dicyanamido)nickel(II) macrocyclic complexes, [Ni(II)(L1){N(CN)2}2] · H2O (1) and [Ni(II)-(L3){N(CN)2}2] (2), where L1 is 3,10-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-1,3,5,8,10,12-hexaazacyclotetradecane and L3 is 3,14-dimethyl-2,6,13,17-tetraazatricyclo[14,4,01.18,07.12]docosane, have been synthesized and structurally characterized by spectroscopic and X-ray crystallographic methods. In (1) and (2), each central nickel(II) ion possesses a distorted octahedral geometry with four equatorial nitrogen atoms from the macrocycle and two axial nitrogen atoms from dicyanamide anions, which are terminally bonded to the central nickel atom. The solid state electronic spectra of (1) and (2) using the diffuse reflectance method show a characteristic high-spin d8 nickel(II) ion in a distorted octahedral environment.  相似文献

New dinuclear complexes of the types [Ni2(L)(H2O)2] and [Ni2(L)(H2O)6] [H4L = N,N′‐bis(carboxymethyl) dithiooxamide (H4GLYDTO), N,N′‐bis(1‐carboxyethyl) dithiooxamide (H4ALADTO), N,N′‐bis(1‐carboxy‐2‐methylpropyl) dithiooxamide (H4VALDTO) and N,N′‐bis(1‐carboxy‐3‐methylbutyl) dithiooxamide (H4LEUDTO)] have been prepared and characterized by IR and electronic absorption spectroscopy, and the structure of [Ni2(ALADTO)(H2O)6] crystals has been determined by single crystal X‐ray analysis. This compound is composed of discrete dinuclear units in which two NiII atoms with NO4S kernels are linked by a single [ALADTO]4– group that coordinates through its carboxylato oxygen, amino nitrogen and thiolato sulphur atoms. In each dimer unit the two nickel(II) ions in distorted octahedral coordination are separated by 5.863(2) Å The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of the new compounds was measured over the range 2 to 300 K. In the complexes of [GLYDTO]4– and [ALADTO]4– the two Ni atoms are antiferromagnetically coupled, with J = –23.51(4) and –20.95(8) cm–1, respectively. By constrast, [Ni2(VALDTO)(H2O)2], [Ni2(VALDTO)(H2O)6] and [Ni2(LEUDTO)(H2O)2] remain paramagnetic down to 2 K, with magnetic moment values between 2.8 and 3.3 M.B.  相似文献

An ester of an imine containing dicarboxylic acid (2-methoxycarbonylmethylimino-5-methyl-thiazol-3-yl)-acetic acid methyl ester was prepared by the reaction of methylbromoacetate with 5-methyl-thiazol-2-ylamine. Base hydrolysis of this ester with sodium hydroxide gives the corresponding disodium salt of the diacid. The disodium salt of (2-methoxycarbonylmethylimino-5-methyl-thiazol-3-yl)-acetic acid (Na2L) forms a mononuclear hexacoordinated complex [Ni(L)(H2O)3]2H2O] with nickel, whereas it forms a pentacoordinated coordination polymer with zinc, having the composition {[Zn(L)(H2O)2]4H2O}n. A copper complex containing L and pyridine (py), with the composition [CuL(py)(H2O)2], has also been synthesized and characterized.  相似文献

Inclusion compounds of the macrocyclic cavitand cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8]) with the nickel(II) complex, {trans-[Ni(en)2(H2O)2]@CB[8]}Cl2 · 23.5H2O, the copper(II) complex, {2[Cu(dien)(bipy)(H2O)]@CB[8]}(ClO4)4 · 11H2O, and the organic molecules, 2(pyCN)@CB[8]} · 16H2O and {2(bpe)@CB[8]} · 17H2O, where bipy is 4,4′-bipyridyl, pyCN is 4-cyanopyridine, and bpe is trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene, were synthesized. The inclusion compounds with organic molecules were synthesized starting from inclusion compounds of cucurbit[8]uril with cyclam and ethylenediamine complexes of copper(II) and nickel(II) by the guest exchange method, which is based on the replacement of one guest with another in the cavity of the cavitand The resulting compounds were characterized by X-ray diffraction, ESR, 1H NMR, IR, and electronic absorption spectroscopy, and electrospray mass spectrometry. Photochemically induced [2+2]-cycloaddition of two 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene molecules included in cucurbit[8]uril was studied. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. The one‐dimensional chain catena‐poly[[aqua(2,2′:6′,2′′‐terpyridyl‐κ3N)nickel(II)]‐μ‐cyano‐κ2N:C‐[bis(cyano‐κC)nickelate(II)]‐μ‐cyano‐κ2C:N], [Ni(terpy)(H2O)]‐trans‐[Ni‐μ‐(CN)2‐(CN)2]n or [Ni2(CN)4(C15H11N3)(H2O)], consists of infinite linear chains along the crystallographic [10] direction. The chains are composed of two distinct types of nickel ions, paramagnetic octahedral [Ni(terpy)(H2O)]2+ cations (with twofold crystallographic symmetry) and diamagnetic planar [Ni(CN)4]2? anions (with the Ni atom on an inversion center). The [Ni(CN)4]2? units act as bidentate ligands bridging through two trans cyano groups thus giving rise to a new example of a transtrans chain among planar tetracyanonickelate complexes. The coordination geometry of the planar nickel unit is typical of slightly distorted octahedral nickel(II) complexes, but for the [Ni(CN)4]2? units, the geometry deviates from a planar configuration due to steric interactions with the terpyridine ligands.  相似文献

Two new nickel(II) complexes, [Ni(4, 4′‐bpy)(H2O)4]n · n(cpp) · 0.5nH2O ( 1 ) and [Ni(cpp)(4, 4′‐bpy)(H2O)2]n ( 2 ) [4, 4′‐bpy = 4, 4′‐bipyridine, H2cpp = 3‐(4‐carboxyphenyl)propionic acid] were synthesized and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and thermal analysis. In complex 1 , NiII ions are bridged by 4, 4′‐bpy into 1D chains, and cpp ligands are not involved in the coordination, whereas in complex 2 , cpp ligands adopt a bis(monodentate) mode and link NiII ions into 2D (4, 4) grids with the help of 4, 4′‐bpy ligands. Triple interpenetration occurs, which results in the formation of a complicated 3D network. The difference in the structures of the two complexes can be attributed to the different reaction temperatures and bases.  相似文献

Three coordination polymers, namely [Co(BDC)( L )] · H2O ( 1 ), [Co(NPH)( L )] · H2O ( 2 ), and [Ni(NPH)( L )(H2O)3] · H2O ( 3 ) [H2BDC = 1, 3‐benzenedicarboxylic acid, H2NPH = 3‐nitrophthalic acid, L = N,N′‐bis(3‐pyridyl)‐terephthalamide] were hydrothermally synthesized by self‐assembly of cobalt/nickel chloride with a semi‐rigid bis‐pyridyl‐bis‐amide ligand and two aromatic dicarboxylic acids. Single crystal X‐ray diffraction analyses revealed that complexes 1 and 2 are two‐dimensional (2D) coordination polymers containing a one‐dimensional (1D) ribbon‐like Co‐dicarboxylate chain and a 1D zigzag Co‐ L chain. Although the coordination numbers of CoII ions and the coordination modes of two dicarboxylates are different in complexes 1 and 2 , they have a similar 3, 5‐connected {42.67.8}{42.6} topology. In complex 3 , the adjacent NiII ions are linked by L ligands to form a 1D polymeric chain, whereas the 1D chains does not extend into a higher‐dimensional structure due to the ligand NPH with monodentate coordination mode. The adjacent layers of complexes 1 and 2 and the adjacent chains of 3 are further linked by hydrogen bonding interactions to form 3D supramolecular networks. Moreover, the thermal stabilities, fluorescent properties, and photocatalytic activities of complexes 1 – 3 were studied.  相似文献

The potentially pentadentate chelate 2,6-diacetylpyridine-bis(N-methyl-S-methyldithiocarbazate) (Nmedapsme) has been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. Its reactions with nickel(II) salts did not lead to pentadentate coordinated ligand complexes but ternary complexes of general formula, [Ni(Nmedapsme)(nmesme)L]X·H2O (L = Br, I; X = I, BF4) where Nmedapsme binds as a tridentate and nmesme = N-methyl-S-methyldithiocarbazate. The related ternary nickel(II) complexes of formula, Ni(Nmedapsme)(nmetsc)Br2 has also been prepared and characterized. X-ray crystal structures of [Ni(Nmedapsme)(nmesme)I]I·H2O and [Ni(Nmedapsme)(nmesme)Br]BF4·H2O revealed that, in these complexes, the Nmedapsme ligand acts as a tridentate NNN donor while the distal S-donors are not coordinated. The bidentate (NS) ligand, nmesme coordinates to the nickel(II) ion via the amino nitrogen and the thione sulfur atoms, the sixth coordination site is occupied by an anion. In both complexes, the nickel(II) ion adopts a distorted octahedral configuration. The complex [Cu(nmesme)2(ONO2)]NO3 was obtained from an unsuccessful attempt to complex copper(II) with Nmedapsme. Hydrolysis of the parent Schiff base Nmedapsme occurred during complexation. An X-ray crystallographic structure analysis shows that the complex, [Cu(nmesme)2(ONO2)]NO3 has an approximately square-pyramidal geometry with the two nmesme ligands coordinated to the copper(II) ion as NS bidentate chelating agents via the amino nitrogen and thione sulfur atoms and the fifth coordination position of copper(II) is occupied by a monodentate nitrate ligand.  相似文献

NiII mixed-ligand complexes of compositions [Ni(pmdien)(ttcH)] (1), [Ni(baphen)2(ttcH)] · 4H2O (2), [Ni-(dpa)(ttcH)(H2O)] (3), [Ni(cyclam)(ttcH)] · 2H2O (4), [Ni(hexaa)](ttcH) (5) and [Ni(hexab)(ttcH)] · 2H2O (6), (baphen = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, dpa = 2,2-dipyridylamine, cyclam = 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane, hexaa = 1,3,6,9,11,14-hexaazatricyclo[12.2.1.16,9]-octadecane, hexab = 1,8-dimethyl-1,3,6,8,10,13-hexaazacyclotetradecane) have been prepared and characterized by means of i.r., u.v.–vis. spectroscopies and magnetochemical measurements. The redox properties of the complexes were studied by cyclic voltammetry. The crystal and molecular structure of [Ni(pmdien)(ttcH)] was determined. The nickel atom is penta-coordinated by three N atoms of pmdien, and by S and N atoms of trithiocyanurate(2–) anion.  相似文献

[Ni(bpy)(mal)(H2O)3]·H2O and [Ni(4,4′-dmbpy)(mal)(H2O)3]·1.5H2O (mal = maleato; bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine; 4,4′-dmbpy = 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine) exhibit molecular crystal structures. The Ni(II) central ions in both complexes are six-coordinate by one chelate bonded L–L ligand, three aqua ligands, and one position is occupied by a maleato oxygen donor atom. Hydrogen bonded ribbon-like supramolecular structural motifs are present in both studied complexes; these are linked by weaker C–H?O hydrogen bonds in [Ni(bpy)(mal)(H2O)3]·H2O, whereas in [Ni(4,4′-dmbpy)(mal)(H2O)3]·1,5H2O the hydrogen bonded ribbons are linked by O?H-O-H?O hydrogen bonds with the participation of the additional water solvate molecule positioned on the twofold axis. In both structures, ππ stacking interactions with different patterns in respective structures were found. The role of dispersion energy and many-body effects in the stabilization of bpy and 4,4′-dmbpy stacking interactions were investigated using methods of computational chemistry. Those confirm the dispersion-dominated stabilization of the 4,4′-dmbpy supramolecular chain-like structure, with only marginal impact of cooperativity effects. Thermal decompositions of both complexes start with dehydration. Magnetic susceptibility studies performed from 2 to 300 K revealed a dominant effect of the zero-field splitting of the Ni(II) ion, governing the low-temperature magnetic properties of both compounds.  相似文献

New VO2+, Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+ Cu2+ and Zn2+ complexes of 2,5-hexanedione bis(isonicotinylhydrazone) [H2L] have been synthesized and characterized. The analyses confirmed the formulae: [VO(L)]·H2O, [Mn2(H2L)Cl2(H2O)6]Cl2, [Co(L)(H2O)2]·2H2O, [Ni(HL)(OAc)]·H2O, [Cu(L)(H2O)2]·2H2O, [Cu(L)]·2H2O and [Zn(L)(H2O)2]. The formulae of [Ni(HL)(OAc)]·H2O, [Zn(L)(H2O)2] and [Mn2(H2L)Cl2(H2O)6]Cl2, are supported by mass spectra. The molecular modeling of H2L is drawn and showed intramolecular hydrogen bonding. The ligand releases two protons during reaction from the two amide groups (NHCO) and behaves as a binegative tetradentate (N2O2); good evidence comes from the 1H NMR spectrum of [Zn(L)(H2O)2]. The ligand has a buffering range 10–12 and pK's of 4.62, 7.78 and 9.45. The magnetic moments and electronic spectra of all complexes provide a square-planar for [Cu(L)]·2H2O, square-pyramidal for [VO(L)]·H2O and octahedral for the rest. The ESR spectra support the mononuclear geometry for [VO(L)]·H2O and [Cu(L)(H2O)2]·2H2O. The thermal decomposition of the complexes revealed the outer and inner solvents where the end product in most cases is metal oxide.  相似文献

The synthesis, characterization and methyl methacrylate polymerization behaviors of 2‐(N‐arylimino)pyrrolide nickel complexes are described. The nickel complex [NN]2Ni ( 1 , [NN] = [2‐C(H)NAr‐5‐tBu‐C4H2N]?, Ar = 2,6‐iPr2C6H3) was prepared in good yield by the reaction of [NN]Li with trans‐[Ni(Cl)(Ph)(PPh3)2] in THF. Reaction of [NN]Li with NiBr2(DME) yielded the nickel bromide [NN]Ni(Br)[NNH] ( 2 ). Complexes 1 and 2 were characterized by 1H NMR and IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis, and by X‐ray single crystal analysis. Both complexes, upon activation with methylaluminoxane, are highly active for the polymerization of methyl methacrylate to give high molecular weight polymethylmethacrylate with narrow molecular distributions. Reactions between nickel(II) and copper(II) salts [M(L) n ](ClO4)2 [L: 2-(pyrazole-1-ylmethyl)pyridine; n = 3 for Ni(II) and n = 2 for Ni(II) and Cu(II)] and LiTCNQ or mixture of LiTCNQ/TCNQ and Et3NH(TCNQ)2 yielded [Ni(L)3](TCNQ)2 · H2O, [Ni(L)2(TCNQ)2], [Ni(L)3](TCNQ)3, [Ni(L)2(TCNQ)3], and [Cu(L)2(TCNQ)3] · 3H2O. These complexes were characterized by infrared, electronic absorption, variable temperature magnetic moments and electron paramagnetic studies. Magnetic moments increase with increase in temperature attributed to contribution from TCNQ, which has also been examined by electron paramagnetic resonance.  相似文献
