Using Glaubers multiple-scattering theory, the elementary ¯p-neutron scattering amplitude has been obtained from an analysis of ¯p-deuteron elastic-scattering data at 600 MeV/c. The plane-wave expansion in the double-scattering amplitudes is treated more accurately than in earlier work. It is found that this leads to significantly better agreement with the data at high momentum transfer.  相似文献

The reaction ppppη was measured at excess energies of 15 and 41 MeV at an external target of the Jülich Cooler Synchrotron COSY with the time-of-flight spectrometer. About 25000 events were measured for the excess energy of 15 MeV and about 8000 for 41 MeV. Both protons of the process ppη were detected with an acceptance of nearly 100% and the η was reconstructed by the missing-mass technique. For both excess energies the angular distributions are found to be nearly isotropic. In the invariant-mass distributions strong deviations from the pure phase space distributions are seen. We evaluate three meson doorway mechanisms for nucleon-antinucleon annihilation at rest for the first time. Detailed results are presented for the final state φπ0 originating from the 3S1 initial state and for the φρ channel originating from 1S0. The results presented also include the improved contributions from two meson doorway states and from the tree diagrams. For all the channels considered a consistent explanation of large and small OZI violations emerges. Received: 22 December 1999  相似文献

We investigate the reaction ppda 0 + at COSY and SIS energies together with accompanying background reactions and inclusive particle yields. The a 0 + is considered as a usual u quark model state with two decay channels a 0 +K + and a 0 +↦π+η. Calculated cross-sections for a 0 + production as well as for the corresponding non-resonant channels ppdK + and ppdπ+η are compared. Especially, in case of the final channel dπ+η, high statistics measurements are necessary to extract the a 0 + signal from the high non-resonant background. The influence of the mutual interaction between the two outgoing nucleons (NN-FSI) in the 16O(e, e'pp) reaction has been investigated. Results for various kinematics are discussed. In general, the effect of NN-FSI depends on kinematics and the chosen final state in the excitation spectrum of 14C. p annihilation into two pions and three pions is studied in a baryon exchange model. Annihilation diagrams involving nucleon as well as Δ-resonance exchanges are included consistently in the two- and three-pion channels. Effects from the initial-state interaction are fully taken into account. A comparison of the influence of the Δ exchange on the considered annihilation channels is made and reveals that its importance for three-pion annihilation is strongly reduced as compared to two-pion annihilation. It is found that annihilation into three uncorrelated pions can yield up to 10% of the total experimentally observed three-pion annihilation cross-section. The single-pion production reactions ppdπ+, ppnpπ+ and ppppπ0 were measured at a beam momentum of 0.95GeV/c ( T p ≈ 400MeV) using the short version of the COSY-TOF spectrometer. The implementation of a central calorimeter provided particle identification, energy determination and neutron detection in addition to time-of-flight and angle measurements. Thus, all pion production channels were recorded with 1-4 overconstraints. The total and differential cross-sections obtained are compared to previous data and theoretical calculations. Main emphasis is put on the discussion of the ppπ0 channel, where we obtain angular distributions different from previous experimental results, however, partly in good agreement with recent phenomenological and theoretical predictions. In particular, we observe very large anisotropies for the π0 angular distributions in the kinematical region of small relative proton momenta revealing there a dominance of proton spinflip transitions associated with π0 s and d partial waves and emphasizing the important role of π0 d-waves.  相似文献

The experimental data on the doorway states for one-nucleon transfer reactions permit to reveal the many-particle nucleon-nucleon forces resulting from the nonlinearity of strong interaction. The three-particle and four-particle forces are found to be of the same magnitude as the two-particle ones in contrast to the finding from the few-nucleon systems. The origin of this difference is explained. Received: 14 May 2002 / Accepted: 4 June 2002 / Published online: 19 November 2002 RID="a" ID="a"e-mail: birbrair@thd.pnpi.spb.ru Communicated by V.V. Multiple emission of intermediate-mass fragments has been studied for the collisions p + Au at 2.16, 3.6 and 8.1 GeV with the FASA setup. The mean IMF multiplicities for events with at least one IMF are equal to 1.7, 1.9 and 2.1 (±0.2) respectively. The multiplicity, charge distributions and kinetic energy spectra of IMF are described in the framework of a intranuclear cascade model followed by the statistical multifragmentation model. However, between the two parts of the calculation the excitation energies and the residual masses and charges are modified to take into account the losses during expansion. The results support a scenario of true thermal multifragmentation of a hot and expanded target spectator. Received: 15 December 1997 / Revised version: 24 April 1998  相似文献

The analysis of new experimental data, obtained at the Proton Linear Accelerator of INR, with the aim to search for supernarrow dibaryons in the pdppX 1 and pdpdX 2 reactions is presented. Narrow peaks with an experimental width of 5 MeV at masses of 1904±2, 1926±2, and 1942±2 MeV have been observed in missing mass M pX1 spectra. In the missing mass M X1 spectra, the peaks at M X1 = 966±2, 986±2, and 1003±2 MeV have been found. The analysis of the data obtained leads to the conclusion that the observed peaks in M pX1 spectra are most likely supernarrow dibaryons, the decay of which into two nucleons is forbidden by the Pauli exclusion principle. An alternative interpretation of the spectra by assuming a decay of the supernarrow dibaryons in “exotic baryon states” with masses M X1 is discussed. We discuss the possibility to extract the neutron-neutron scattering length ann from experimental spectra on the reaction γd → π+ nn . The transition operator is calculated to high accuracy from chiral perturbation theory. We argue that for properly chosen kinematics, the theoretical uncertainty of the method can be as low as 0.1 fm.  相似文献

Deuteron properties and P-N elastic scattering in 1 S 0 and 3 S 13 D 1 channels are described within the framework of a model containing non-local interactions that take into account quark exchange processes. Comparisons with other theoretical results are also made. Received: 1 February 1999  相似文献

Brueckner calculations including a microscopic three-body force have been extended to isospin-asymmetric nuclear matter. The effects of the three-body force on the equation of state and on the single-particle properties of nuclear matter are discussed with a view to possible applications in nuclear physics and astrophysics. It is shown that, even in the presence of the three-body force, the empirical parabolic law of the energy per nucleon vs. isospin asymmetry β = (N - Z)/A is fulfilled in the whole asymmetry range 0≤β≤1 up to high densities. The three-body force provides a strong enhancement of the symmetry energy which increases with density in good agreement with the predictions of relativistic approaches. The Lane's assumption that proton and neutron mean fields linearly vary vs. the isospin parameter is violated at high density due to the three-body force, while the momentum dependence of the mean fields turns out to be only weakly affected. Consequently, a linear isospin split of the neutron and proton effective masses is found for both cases with and without the three-body force. The isospin effects on multifragmentation events and collective flows in heavy-ion collisions are briefly discussed along with the conditions for direct URCA processes to occur in the neutron star cooling. Using a constituent-quark model we study possible bound or resonance Nˉ states. The model fits the pˉ and pˉ cross-sections and explains the large 3 P 0 antiprotonium energy shift. Only a resonance is found in the 3 P 0 I = 0 partial wave. The threshold enhancement in the J/Ψγpˉ decay can be explained with FSI effects in S-waves and no Nˉ bound state is needed.  相似文献

The (p,α) reaction on 90Zr has been studied in a high resolution experiment at an incident proton energy of 22 MeV. The cross section and asymmetry angular distributions for transitions to 36 levels of 87Y with an excitation energy up to 3 MeV have been measured. DWBA analyses of experimental angular distributions, using either Woods-Saxon or Double Folded potentials for the exit channel, have been done, allowing either the confirmation of previous spin and parity values or the assignment of new spin and parity to a large number of states. The structure of low lying states of 87Y has been studied in the framework of the shell model, using the OXBASH code. With the interaction PMM90 reasonable agreement is obtained for part of the negative parity spectrum. Received: 17 November 1997  相似文献

The 16O(13C,12C)17O reaction at 50 MeV has been investigated using the kinematical coincidence method. Polarization tensors t 20 and t 40 of 12C[2+ 1] for the quantization axis taken along the direction of propagation have been measured by analyzing the energy spectrum of 12C[2+ 1], modulated by the effect of γ ray emission. The deduced t 40 values significantly deviate from zero, contrary to the prediction of the distorted-wave Born approximation theory based on one-step p shell neutron stripping without spin-dependent interactions. The phenomenological spin–orbit interaction necessary to reproduce the magnitude of measured t 40 is found to be much larger than the folding model prediction. It is shown that the experimental polarization tensors as well as the cross sections can be reproduced by introducing multi-step processes involving excitations in 12C and 13C without introducing spin-dependent interactions. This paper reports on the first measurement of the 16O(e, e'pn)14N reaction. Data were measured in kinematics centred on a super-parallel geometry at energy and momentum transfers of 215MeV and 316MeV/c. The experimental resolution was sufficient to distinguish groups of states in the residual nucleus but not good enough to separate individual states. The data show a strong dependence on missing momentum and this dependence appears to be different for two groups of states in the residual nucleus. Theoretical calculations of the reaction using the Pavia code do not reproduce the shape or the magnitude of the data. An erratum to this article is available at.  相似文献

Excitation functions AN(plab,c.m.) of the analyzing power in elastic proton-proton scattering have been measured in an internal target experiment at the Cooler Synchrotron COSY with an unpolarized proton beam and a polarized atomic hydrogen target. Data were taken continuously during the acceleration and deceleration for proton kinetic energies Tlab (momenta plab) between 0.45 and 2.5 GeV (1.0 and 3.3 GeV/c) and scattering angles 30 ° c.m. 90°. The results provide excitation functions and angular distributions of high precision and internal consistency. The data can be used as calibration standard between 0.45 and 2.5 GeV. They have significant impact on phase shift solutions, in particular on the spin triplet phase shifts between 1.0 and 1.8 GeV.  相似文献

We address the question whether the cut-off dependence, which has to be introduced in order to properly define the Lippmann-Schwinger equation for the one-pion exchange potential plus local (δ-function) potentials, can be removed (up to inverse powers of it) by a suitable tuning of the various (bare) coupling constants. We prove that this is indeed so both for the spin singlet and for the spin triplet channels. However, the latter requires, in the limit when the cut-off is taken to infinity, such a strong cut-off dependence of the coupling constant associated to the non-local term which breaks orbital angular momentum conservation, that the renormalized amplitude lacks from partial-wave mixing. We argue that this is an indication that this term must be treated perturbatively. Received: 7 October 2002 / Accepted: 15 January 2003 / Published online: 5 May 2003  相似文献

Two recent developments of the nuclear shell model are presented. One is a breakthrough in computational feasibility owing to the Monte Carlo Shell Model (MCSM). By the MCSM, the structure of low-lying states can be studied with realistic interactions for a wide, nearly unlimited basically, variety of nuclei. The magic numbers are the key concept of the shell model, and are shown to be different in exotic nuclei from those of stable nuclei. Its novel origin and robustness will be discussed.
