We investigate the approximation by space and time discretization of quasi linear evolution equations driven by nuclear or space time white noise. An error bound for the implicit Euler, the explicit Euler, and the Crank–Nicholson scheme is given and the stability of the schemes are considered. Lastly we give some examples of different space approximation, i.e., we consider approximation by eigenfunction, finite differences and wavelets.  相似文献

We present a scaling technique which transforms the evolution problem for a nonlinear wave equation with small initial data to a linear wave equation with a distributional source. Two heat diffusion problems in the framework of the parabolic phase-field model are presented. The first problem is related to a single isotropic fluid and the other describes the heat transmission between two different substances in contact. Some known existence and uniqueness results are briefly recalled. Then, an asymptotic analysis of both situations is carried out as the kinetic equation collapses to a temperature-phase relation of Stefan type, in the first case in the whole material, and in the second in only one of the substances. In both cases, a convergence result for the solutions is proved. The second problem shows some more mathematical difficulties that are due to the presence of nontrivial terms on the common boundary. In order to control the latter, some tools are used from the Γ-convergence theory for convex functionals.  相似文献

Nonlinear nonautonomous evolution equations in a space with a normalizing mapping (a generalized norm) are considered. Solution estimates are established. In particular cases these estimates generalize the Wazewski and Lozinskii estimates from the theory of ordinary differential equations. By the obtained estimates, the following problems are investigated: asymptotic stability, boundedness of solutions, input-output stability, existence of periodic solutions. This paper presents several examples of fundamental problems involving weak continuity and compactness for nonlinear partial differential equations, in which compensated compactness and related ideas have played a significant role. The compactness and convergence of vanishing viscosity solutions for nonlinear hyperbolic conservation laws are first analyzed, including the inviscid limit from the Navier-Stokes equations to the Euler equations for homentropic flow, the vanishing viscosity method to construct the global spherically symmetric solutions to the multidimensional compressible Euler equations, and the sonic-subsonic limit of solutions of the full Euler equations for multi-dimensional steady compressible fluids. Then the weak continuity and rigidity of the Gauss-Codazzi-Ricci system and corresponding isometric embeddings in differential geometry are revealed. Further references are also provided for some recent developments on the weak continuity and compactness for nonlinear partial differential equations.  相似文献
