A theoretical model was developed to evaluate the reduction of structure-borne noise generated by an axially symmetric ring force which is applied on the interior of the cylindrical shell. The vibrating cylindrical shell is coated with a microvoided elastomer that is acoustically soft material designed for the reduction of the generated noise. The analytical model is a two-layer shell structure comprised of a cylindrical shell and an outer layer (coating) that is perfectly bonded to the cylindrical shell. The outer and inner surfaces of the coated shell are in contact with water and air, respectively. The analysis for this problem is based on the theory of elasticity, acoustic wave equations, and pertinent boundary conditions. Effects of various parameters such as coating thickness and material properties on the noise reductions are presented.  相似文献

A Schottky diode (SD) is represented by an equivalent circuit containing two parallel-connected diodes characterizing the properties of the inner and outer regions of the diode. A noise model of an SD is examined that includes four mutually independent hf noise sources localized in the junctions and base resistances of the inner and outer diodes. A perturbation method is used to study the stability of the interface between a cylinder formed by the flow of an inviscid liquid dielectric and air in the presence of an external electrostatic field produced by coaxial electrodes. The field is perpendicular to the interface. The outer electrode is at a potential V0 and the inner electrode is grounded. An equation is found for the neutral-equilibrium curve, and the threshhold values of V0, i.e., those at which the surface becomes unstable, are calculated for the case in which the outer radius of the stream is twice the inner radius.Translated from Izvestiya VUZ. 水下鱼雷武器发射噪声是潜艇的特殊噪声源。为直观详尽地描述发射系统内鱼雷出管的具体情况,本文建立了潜艇水下鱼雷安静发射普遍采用的液压平衡式发射装置内部及外部流场的有限元分析模型。基于FLUENT的动网格技术进行数值模拟,计算分析了发射过程的速度场和压力场,以及由此引起的发射流噪声特性。探讨了发射速度、发射管内外压力、潜艇航速或外部流场、水深等多种因素对鱼雷水下发射噪声的影响。  相似文献

A liquid forced through an orifice into an immiscible fluid ultimately breaks into drops due to surface tension. Drop formation can occur right at the orifice in a dripping process. Alternatively, the inner fluid can form a jet, which breaks into drops further downstream. The transition from dripping to jetting is not understood for coflowing fluid streams, unlike the case of drop formation in air. We show that in a coflowing stream this transition can be characterized by a state diagram that depends on the capillary number of the outer fluid and the Weber number of the inner fluid.  相似文献

We present the results of numerical calculation of the acoustic field distribution in a structure consisting of three cylindrically symmetrical, infinitely long coaxial regions with identical constant density. The media in the inner and outer regions have the same sound velocity which is different from that in the intermediate region. In the inner region, a harmonic pressure source is located. Expressions for the acoustic fields in each region are derived and the field distribution in the outer region is determined. The numerical analysis is performed at the distances corresponding to the near field of the source. Characteristic features of the field structure as a function of the source frequency, the sizes of the system, and the acoustic parameters of the medium are determined. The results obtained can be used in geophysical prospecting for characterization of boreholes, in acoustic logging of wells, and in the problems of noise control near industrial and power plants.  相似文献

 介绍了一种新的环形光源技术来抑制干涉仪系统的本征噪声以提高信噪比。阐述了环形光源抑制干涉仪系统本征噪声的原理,根据条纹对比度和需抑制噪声空间频率的要求,推导得到了环形光源的外半径和内半径。通过与传统的点光源对比实验表明:环形光源模式系统的本征噪声峰谷值小于点光源模式,且没有明显的牛顿环噪声,本征噪声的功率谱密度在空间频率小于2.5 mm -1时小于点光源的1/10,系统信噪比在空间频率小于2 -1时大于点光源的两倍。  相似文献

In this study, the Euler-Bernoulli beam model is used to analyze the resonant vibration of double-walled carbon nanotubes (DWCNTs) with inner and outer nanotubes of different lengths. The resonant properties of DWCNTs with different inner and outer nanotube lengths are investigated in detail using this theoretical approach. The resonant vibration is significantly affected by the vibrational modes of the DWCNTs, and by the lengths of the inner and outer nanotubes. For an inner or outer nanotube of constant length, the vibrational frequencies of the DWCNTs increase initially and then decrease as the length of another nanotube increases. A design for nanoelectromechanical devices that operate at various frequencies can be realized by controlling the length of the inner and outer nanotubes of DWCNTs. This investigation may be helpful in applications of carbon nanotubes such as high frequency oscillators, dynamic mechanical analysis and mechanical sensors.  相似文献

The objective of this work is to simulate the flow noise of a vector sensor embedded in a flexible towed array. The mathematical model developed, based on long-wavelength analysis of the inner space of a cylindrical multipole source, predicts the reduction of the flow noise of a vector sensor embedded in an underwater flexible towed array by means of intensimetric processing (cross-spectral density calculation of oscillatory velocity and sound-pressure-sensor responses). It is found experimentally that intensimetric processing results in flow noise reduction by 12-25 dB at mean levels and by 10-30 dB in fluctuations compared to a squared oscillatory velocity channel. The effect of flow noise suppression in the intensimetry channel relative to a squared sound pressure channel is observed, but only for frequencies above the threshold. These suppression values are 10-15 dB at mean noise levels and 3-6 dB in fluctuations. At towing velocities of 1.5-3 ms(-1) and an accumulation time of 98.3 s, the threshold frequency in fluctuations is between 30 and 45 Hz.  相似文献

We have investigated some of the properties of dense sub-nuclear matter at the crustal region (both the outer crust and the inner crust region) of a magnetar. The relativistic version of the Thomas-Fermi (TF) model is used in the presence of a strong quantizing magnetic field for the outer crust matter. The compressed matter in the outer crust, which is a crystal of metallic iron, is replaced by a regular array of spherically symmetric Wigner-Seitz (WS) cells. In the inner crust region, a mixture of iron and heavier neutron-rich nuclei along with electrons and free neutrons has been considered. Conventional Harrison-Wheeler (HW) and Bethe-Baym-Pethick (BBP) equation of states are used for the nuclear mass formula. A lot of significant changes in the characteristic properties of dense crustal matter, both at the outer crust and at the inner crust, have been observed.  相似文献

The neutron flux distribution on the wall of a toroidal CTR device with strongly elongated cross section is calculated. On the inner and outer cylindrical walls (belt-pinch device) the flux distribution has a plateau region with a half-width equal to about the height of the plasma. The maximum flux is found on the outer cylinder and in the symmetry plane (z 0=0). The neutron flux asymmetry and reductionη of the mean wall loading are determined. For standard data anη of 57% is computed. This is mainly due to the flux profiles on the cylindrical walls and does not depend sensitively on the toroidal curvature. For standard parameters the inner cylinder absorbs 22.6%, the outer cylinder 68.6% and the end plates together 8.8% of the total neutron emission. The corresponding values for a straight device with the same coil and plasma cross section are 44%, 44% and 12%. A reduction of toroidal curvature diminishes flux asymmetry between the inner and outer cylinders. The maximum flux and minimumη-value are obtained at a large torus radius equal to two times the coil width. For small aspect ratios (R t W0.5) the neutron flux through the inner cylinder becomes so small that its interior may be filled with a material other than a blanket material, e.g. with an iron core.  相似文献

We have observed multiphoton ionization of the 5s core electron from a 5snd radial Rydberg wave packet of Sr atoms using a short optical pulse. When the outer nd electron is at its outer turning point the inner 5s electron is removed from the atom, and the outer electron is left in a Sr+ Rydberg state, but when the outer electron is at the inner turning point this does not occur. Analysis of the final Sr+ Rydberg states shows that the two electrons interact as the inner electron leaves, so that the outer electron is not simply projected onto the Sr+ Rydberg states.  相似文献

We implemented a stitching swing arm profilometer(SSAP) test for the inner and outer regions of a large aspheric surface with a short arm. The SSAP was more capable of improving sampling density of surface and was less sensitive to system error, like vibration noise and air-table noise. Firstly, a calculation model was built to evaluate the sampling density of the SSAP test. Then, sensitivity to system noise was tested when different lengths of arm were used. At the end, an experiment on a 3 m diameter aspheric mirror was implemented, where test efficiency was promoted, and high sampling density was achieved.  相似文献

The inner and the outer walls of hollow tubing with an inner diameter of 0.4-0.9 cm and an outer diameter of 0.6-1.3 cm were coated with silver nanoparticles (NPs) by a one-step process using ultrasound irradiation. The structure and morphology of the nanoparticles (NPs) inside the hollow tubing and on the outer surface were characterized using methods such as XRD, TEM, HR-TEM, and HRSEM. The inner surface of the tubing was found to be coated with more silver than the outer surface. The coating was done on tubing made of rubber, PVC, Teflon and polyethylene. Sonochemistry is demonstrated as a method for depositing nanoparticles on the inner wall of a tube.  相似文献

A review of recent published data on low velocity jet noise is given together with previously unpublished results taken from the Rolls-Royce Noise Research Programme on model rigs and full-scale engines. Noise correlations are given which show that at low jet velocities, the low frequency exhaust noise which is commonly referred to as jet noise, emitted from the fan stream of a turbofan engine is considerably lower in level than that from the (hot) centre stream. From this result, a new prediction procedure for coaxial jet noise of turbofan engines is then developed. Comparisons are given which show that this method gives good correlation with measured results from a number of full-scale turbofan engines. The importance of accurate estimation of the “ground reflection effect” is clearly demonstrated. A critical review of published jet noise data from model coaxial jets is given and the need for further extensive testing emphasized.  相似文献

The spectral resolution of the binaural system was measured using a tone-detection task in a binaural analog of the notched-noise technique. Three listeners performed 2-interval, 2-alternative, forced choice tasks with a 500-ms out-of-phase signal within 500 ms of broadband masking noise consisting of an "outer" band of either interaurally uncorrelated or anticorrelated noise, and an "inner" band of interaurally correlated noise. Three signal frequencies were tested (250, 500, and 750 Hz), and the asymmetry of the filter was measured by keeping the signal at a constant frequency and moving the correlated noise band relative to the signal. Thresholds were taken for bandwidths of correlated noise ranging from 0 to 400 Hz. The equivalent rectangular bandwidth of the binaural filter was found to increase with signal frequency, and estimates tended to be larger than monaural bandwidths measured for the same listeners using equivalent techniques.  相似文献

Tinnitus often develops following inner ear pathologies, like acoustic trauma. Therefore, an acoustic trauma model of tinnitus in gerbils was established using a modulated acoustic startle response. Cochlear trauma evoked by exposure to narrow-band noise at 10 kHz was assessed by auditory brainstem responses (ABR) and distortion product otoacoustic emissions (DPOAE). Threshold shift amounted to about 25 dB at frequencies >?10 kHz. Induction of a phantom-noise perception was documented by an acoustic startle response paradigm. A reduction of the gap-prepulse inhibition of acoustic startle (GPIAS) was taken as evidence for tinnitus at the behavioral level. Three to five weeks after trauma the ABR and DPOAE thresholds were back to normal. At that time, a reduction of GPIAS in the frequency range 16-20 kHz indicated a phantom noise perception. Seven weeks post trauma the tinnitus-affected frequency range became narrow and shifted to the center-trauma frequency at 10 kHz. Taken together, by investigating frequency-dependent effects in detail, this study in gerbils found trauma-evoked tinnitus developing in the frequency range bordering the low frequency slope of the induced noise trauma. This supports the theory of lateral inhibition as the physiological basis of tinnitus.  相似文献

本文提出用图形逼近和取尺寸上、下限值的几何平均值的方法,计算椭圆外导体-矩形内导体同轴线特性阻抗。矩形截面内导体的内切共焦椭圆和外接共焦椭圆,通过保角变换,变成同心圆。矩形变成近于矩形的闭合曲线,二同心圆分别为它的最小值和最大值,取二者的几何平均值,与同轴椭圆截面外导体同时变成的同心圆,构成一个标准同轴线,得到了特性阻抗公式。并由此推导出椭圆外导体-微带内导体、圆形外导体-方形内导体、圆形外导体-矩形内导体及圆形外导体-微带内导体等各种同轴线的特性阻抗的初等函数表示式。给出了上述几种同轴线的特性阻抗准确数值。 关键词:  相似文献

The sound radiated by rigid cylinders placed transversely in a uniform stream has been measured in an anechoic wind tunnel over a range of Mach numbers (M=0.09-0.2). The cylinders have different cross-sections, e.g., circular, square, rectangular, elliptic, and circular with lateral ribs or knurled surfaces. Different length to diameter ratios of the cylinders are also investigated. Results are presented as narrow band spectra, measured in the far field (acoustic as well as geometric). All spectra are presented with dimensionless (scaled) axes, as well as the original dimensional scales. It is shown that elliptic cross-sections are less noisy, compared to all other cylinders, but noise abatement techniques such as lateral ribs and knurled surfaces can also reduce tonal radiated noise. Two practical applications of these experiments are the reduction of radiated noise from pantographs of high-speed railway trains, and from the landing gear of modern passenger aircraft.  相似文献

Controlling the flame shape and its liftoff height is one of the main issues for oxy-flames to limit heat transfer to the solid components of the injector. An extensive experimental study is carried out to analyze the effects of co- and counter-swirl on the flow and flame patterns of non-premixed oxy-flames stabilized above a coaxial injector when both the inner fuel and the annular oxidizer streams are swirled. A swirl level greater than 0.6 in the annular oxidizer stream is shown to yield compact oxy-flames with a strong central recirculation zone that are attached to the rim of central fuel tube in absence of inner swirl. It is shown that counter-swirl in the fuel tube weakens this recirculation zone leading to more elongated flames, while co-swirl enhances it with more compact flames. These results obtained for high annular swirl levels contrast with previous observations made on gas turbine injectors operated at lower annular swirl levels in which central recirculation of the flow is mainly achieved with counter-rotating swirlers. Imparting a high inner swirl to the central fuel stream leads to lifted flames due to the partial blockage of the flow at the injector outlet by the central recirculation zone that causes high strain rates in the wake of the injector rim. This partial flow blockage is more influenced by the level of the inner swirl than its rotation direction. A global swirl number is then introduced to analyze the structure of the flow far from the burner outlet where swirl dissipation takes place when the jets mix. A model is derived for the global swirl number which well reproduces the evolution of the mass flow rate of recirculating gases measured in non-reacting conditions and the flame liftoff height when the inner and outer swirl levels and the momentum flux ratio between the two streams are varied.  相似文献
