Traffic noise prediction models in France are based on vehicle noise emission values defined by the French Guide du Bruit des Transports Terrestres (Noise Guide for Ground Transport - Noise levels prediction). These emission values are suited for models addressing the noise assessments of road infrastructures and the dimensioning of acoustic protections, needing traffic noise estimations in terms of ?Aeq over a long period of time (an hour or more).The values, obtained from measurements collected in the 70s, are updated in the publication of a new guide (Methodological Guide, Vehicle noise emissions, to be published), which addresses the road surface influence on tyre/road noise. The emission values are now expressed through the contributions of a power unit component, function of traffic speed, traffic flow type and road declivity, and of a rolling noise component, function of traffic speed and road pavement.The paper outlines the procedures followed to determine the components, gives their numerical values, and illustrates some vehicle noise emissions.  相似文献

A street categorization method to study urban noise was tested by comparing its results and predictive capacity with those of a reference method – the standard grid method (mentioned in the ISO 1996 standard). To this end, two independent noise surveys were carried out simultaneously in the city of Cáceres (Spain), each using one of these two methods. In a first step, the overall values of each procedure were obtained and the differences analyzed. Then, to analyze the predictive capacity of the categorization method, the two noise maps were constructed, and their predicted values (the noise levels of the squares of the grid for the grid method, and of the categories for the categorization method) were compared with the data of the other procedure used as control.It was found that the categorization method yielded similar results for the overall analysis of the city to those obtained with the value of the points of the grid method with considerably fewer sampling points.The categorization method also seems to be a more suitable predictor for new measurements, particularly for levels in the noisiest streets of the town.  相似文献

In the attempt to improve urban environmental conditions, city or national incentives encourage the use of cleaner vehicles, including hybrid electric vehicles. This paper explores the actual noise impact of this alternative drivetrain technology on the noise emission of a mid-size delivery truck powered by a parallel hybrid powertrain, compared with an equivalent internal combustion engine truck on the basis of pass-by noise measurements. It investigates jointly the overall emission, the main noise sources and the vertical directivity of the vehicle. The essential benefit results from the existence of a full-electric mode below 50 km/h, with a significant noise reduction which may exceed 8 dB(A) at low constant speed. Even if smaller, this noise advantage is still valuable when the vehicle is accelerating or braking. Due to weaker noise emitted upwards, the benefit should be even greater for residents living on upper building floors. The rolling noise associated with the drive wheel/road contact is the main noise source in all driving situations in electric mode, and beyond 50 km/h in the configurations with engine.  相似文献

A highway traffic noise prediction model has been developed for environmental assessment in South Korea. The model is based on an outdoor sound propagation method and is fully compliant with ISO 9613 and the sound power level (PWL) estimation for a road segment, as suggested in the ASJ Model-1998 that is based on PWLs. Due to that model’s selection of two pavement types, such as asphalt or concrete pavement, an unacceptable traffic noise prediction is made in cases where the road surface is different from that on which the model is based. In order to address this problem, several road surface types are categorized, and the PWL of each surface type is determined and modeled by measuring the noise levels obtained from newly developed methods. An evaluation of the traffic noise prediction model using field measurements finds good agreement between predicted and measured noise levels.  相似文献

There currently exist a number of commercial tools which may be used to develop strategic noise maps in an effort to satisfy the requirements of EU Directive 2002/49/EC. However, these tools may not be readily available to local authorities with limited resources. This paper investigates the possibility of developing a simplified alternative to using detailed commercial software for the creation of strategic noise maps. In-house noise prediction software was used to calculate a noise map of Dublin city centre and results were compared to those of commercial standard software. The in-house software tool was then used to assess the impact of various source-dependent action plans in a time-efficient and practical manner. Measurements were also carried out at various locations throughout the test area, which were then used to investigate the accuracy of predictions. Finally, a hybrid approach to developing a strategic noise map by integrating measurements taken on-site with predictions was developed. This approach was applied to the test area and yielded a refined noise map that presented noise levels which were more reflective of the measured levels recorded on-site. This demonstrated that the method could be used to determine noise levels that would be representative of the acoustic environment experienced on-site.  相似文献

采用振动与噪声转化的方法计算气体流经阀门产生的管内气动噪声。通过推导管壁振动与管内噪声的计算公式,建立了管壁振动加速度级与管内噪声级之间的转换损失数理模型,并在低频区域,通过修正的频率因子,扩展了转换损失适用的频率范围,实现了通过阀门管内气动噪声的无损伤预测。利用实验对计算模型和方法进行了验证,结果表明,预测总声级的最大误差为0.98%,在整个频域内大约有69.3%78.3%的数据预测误差在±5 dB以内,因而具有较高的精度,为阀门气动噪声的计算和分析提供了新的方法。  相似文献

In the paper, predictions of relative sound level distribution on building façades in city-centres obtained by using the simulation PROP11 program are compared with measurements. The simulation involves the geometry of surrounding buildings, road geometry (number of lanes and their positions) and traffic structure (vehicle flow rates and their average speeds). The agreement between measurement and simulation results is tested for different directivity characteristics of an equivalent point source representing the vehicles.  相似文献

换流变压器作为高压直流换流站主要噪声源,其噪声预测精度和控制方法的选择将直接影响换流站整体噪声预测水平及治理效果。通过对换流变压器噪声的产生机理、噪声频谱及常见治理方案等方面进行系统研究,重点推出了换流变压器噪声控制方法BOX-IN技术,并就BOX-IN装置的噪声预测模型进行了简化和对比验证。通过对降噪量进行现场测试,结果表明,BOX-IN装置降噪量达到20dB(A)左右,与理论计算值近似,为进一步提高高压直流换流站噪声预测精度提供了理论依据。  相似文献

针对某纯电动前驱汽车在急加速时驱动轴出现的异响问题,测试了异响产生时的振动和噪声数据,并利用希尔伯特变换识别了异响源的优先级,锁定异响至驱动轴。然后,结合驱动轴的三销轴式万向节、球笼式万向节的工作特性和轮心振动的分析结果,识别异响来源于球笼式万向节内部高速运动时的挤压摩擦。最后,通过改善润滑油脂的成分比例,提升润滑油脂的润滑性能,保证万向节内部润滑油膜具有一定厚度,结合实车验证了该方案的有效性,可为后续排查此类问题提供参考。  相似文献

This paper describes the noise shielding efficiency of barriers with an acoustic device mounted on their top edge for reducing sound diffraction. Diffraction behind the edge-modified barrier is investigated by scale model experiments in which the positions of a source and a receiver are aligned along a circular arc around the barrier top. The result indicates that the acoustic efficiency of the edge device is a function of the angles of the source and receiver and independent of their radii. Based on this finding, a novel procedure for determining the efficiency of manufactured edge devices is established. This procedure is very beneficial for estimating the edge device efficiency by eliminating ground and meteorological effects. The measured efficiency of the device will be quite useful for the prediction of noise propagation behind the edge-modified barriers.  相似文献

In developing countries like India, the nature of the composition of traffic is heterogeneous. A heterogeneous traffic flow consists of vehicles that have different sizes, speeds, vehicle spacing and operating characteristics. As a result of the widely varying speeds, vehicular dimensions, lack of lane disciplines, honking becomes inevitable. In addition, it changes the urban soundscape of developing countries. In heterogeneous traffic conditions, horn events increase noise level (Lden) by 0.5–13 dB(A) as compared to homogenous traffic conditions. Therefore, the traffic prediction models that are used for homogenous traffic conditions are not applicable in heterogeneous traffic conditions. To increase the accuracy of noise prediction models, in depth understanding of heterogeneous traffic noise is required. Understanding the real traffic noise characteristics requires quantification of some of the basic traffic flow characteristics such as speed, flow, Level Of Service (LOS) and density. In a given roadway, the noise level changes with density and LOS on the road. In this paper, a new factor for horn correction is introduced with respect of Level Of Service (LOS). The horn correction values can be incorporated in traffic noise models such as CRTN, FHWA, and RLS 90, while evaluating heterogeneous traffic conditions.  相似文献

Rail noise prediction models enable consideration of different scenarios for the optimal management of noise prevention and mitigation. This project is aimed at developing an equation that enables computation of LA,max for the Tehran-Karaj commuter train, a type of Diesel-Electric Locomotive. The form of the proposed model is derived from equations for predicting LA,max for a single locomotive pass-by, proposed in the manual prepared by Harris Miller Miller & Hanson Inc. for the US Federal Transit Administration, and in the French rail noise prediction model. The algorithm for predicting LA,max for the Tehran-Karaj commuter train has been developed on the basis of the 50 measurements from 5 locations at distances of 25 m, 35 m, 45 m, 55 m, and 65 m from the centre of the track and at a height of 1.5 m. In the field measurements, the reference distance and the reference vehicle speed have respectively been set equal to 25 m and 80 km per hour. The reference LA,max, length and the speed correction coefficients have been estimated from the field measurements and have been found to be 86.2 dB(A), 11.3, and 18.4 respectively. The fitness test (Kolmogorov-Smirnov) and regression analysis indicate satisfactory results.  相似文献

Data obtained from 312 measurement stations of sound propagation in panel 48 of the Tuncbilek open cast mine, Western Lignite Corporation, Turkey have been used to create an empirical model for such propagation. As well as the noise level recorded at these stations, atmospheric conditions were recorded also by the meteorological station located at the same panel. A total of 95,000 noise values were recorded at these stations. In addition the distances of the measurement stations to the effective source of noise and to the working slope, the meteorological effects and the number of noise sources were defined for each of 312 measurement stations. Using these data, the proposed model was tested against the noise measurements.  相似文献

The prediction of road traffic noise levels in areas not directly exposed, such as areas behind buildings and courtyards, is difficult using standardised methods. This is mainly due to the fact that traditionally only one or a few sources are included. Here a simple model that assumes a flat city on rigid ground is used to demonstrate that sources from a large area are important. Calculations are compared to measurements for four cases, and the proposed method predicts levels 6-10 dB too high for the equivalent level at all measurement positions. If a correction is applied for this over-estimation, the results agree well.  相似文献

Accurate and fast prediction of aerodynamic noise has always been a research hotspot in fluid mechanics and aeroacoustics. The conventional prediction methods based on numerical simulation often demand huge computational resources, which are difficult to balance between accuracy and efficiency. Here, we present a data-driven deep neural network (DNN) method to realize fast aerodynamic noise prediction while maintaining accuracy. The proposed deep learning method can predict the spatial distributions of aerodynamic noise information under different working conditions. Based on the large eddy simulation turbulence model and the Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings acoustic analogy theory, a dataset composed of 1216 samples is established. With reference to the deep learning method, a DNN framework is proposed to map the relationship between spatial coordinates, inlet velocity and overall sound pressure level. The root-mean-square-errors of prediction are below 0.82 dB in the test dataset, and the directivity of aerodynamic noise predicted by the DNN framework are basically consistent with the numerical simulation. This work paves a novel way for fast prediction of aerodynamic noise with high accuracy and has application potential in acoustic field prediction.  相似文献

Simulation programs may be useful tools for controlling an environmental noise. The computer simulation program PROP11 that enables predictions of the time-average sound level within an urban system is used here. A roadway as a noise source is represented by a sum of the sound exposures due to individual vehicle pass-bys. Different representations of equivalent point sources for various classes of vehicles are allowed including directivity characteristics other than omnidirectional. Propagation throughout an urban system contains multi-reflections from the walls and single and double diffraction at their edges. In this paper, the PROP11 program is used to predict the sound level between opposing façades of buildings in a canyon street. A multi-lane road is assumed to contain two classes of vehicles (light and heavy) ones. The equivalent source representing vehicles is defined by the source power spectrum, its position above the ground and directivity characteristics. The consequences of introducing equivalent source directivity are analyzed.  相似文献

A number of investigators have tried to develop a generalized prediction method for flow-generated noise produced by in-duct elements in a ventilation system. Most of these prediction methods relied on limited data obtained from conventional measurement techniques that require the use of an expensive and specially combined acoustic and aerodynamic experimental facility. An alternative to using a specialised and aerodynamic facility that is currently gaining favour in building engineering is using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software packages. CFD is a powerful design tool that is able to predict the behaviour of fluid flow regimes. With the aid of CFD, Mak and Oldham have developed a predictive technique that is based on the relationship between the acoustic power radiated, due to the interaction of air flow and a spoiler, and the turbulent kinetic energy generated in the region of the spoiler. Based on the results of CFD simulation of relevant configurations, the technique has been adopted to normalize the published experimental data of Nelson and Morfey, who produced a normalized spectrum for predicting the sound power level of flow-noise produced by the strip spoilers in a rectangular air duct. In this paper, the theoretical basis of this technique was reviewed and revised. A collapse of data from the simulation models were obtained against the experimental data of Oldham and Ukpoho. The data collapse for a damper were generally excellent at most Strouhal numbers. The data collapse for an orifice plate were generally excellent at lower Strouhal numbers but was less efficient at higher Strouhal numbers where considerable scatter was observed.  相似文献

The purpose of this study is to present a statistical model which can predict the noise level of road-traffic in urban area. A spatial statistical model which can take into account spatial dependency on geographically neighboring areas is constructed from a noise map of a city in South Korea. A system of 250 m × 250 m grid cells is placed on the city of Cheongju, South Korea, and the noise level and urban form indicators are averaged over each cell. The population-weighted mean of the noise level is subsequently regressed on the average urban form by adopting the spatial autoregressive model (SAR) and the spatial error model (SEM), as well as an ordinary least squares (OLS) model. Direct and indirect impacts are analyzed for a valid interpretation of the spatial statistical models. Factors such as GSI, FSI, traffic volume, traffic speed, road area density, and the fraction of industrial area turn out to have significant impacts on the noise level.  相似文献

We consider a model for independent charged particles, hopping on a lattice with static disorder in the waiting times. The excess current noise is calculated and shown to be related to resistance noise and arising from mobility fluctuations. It is also related to the four point super-Burnett-function. The strength of the noise is calculated at small frequencies for weak disorder (classical long time tails) and for strong disorder, when it may behave like I/f. In that case the Hooge factor equals the fraction of deep trapping centers.  相似文献
