Hyperfine interactions of β-emitting17F implanted in single crystals of NaF and CaF2 were studied. The nuclear magnetic moment of theT π=5/2+ state was determined with an improved precision to be |μ(17F;π=5/2+,T 1/2=64.5s|=4.72130±0.00025. nm. Isoscalar magnetic moments of the doubly closed shell ±1 nucleon nuclei around mass number 16 were derived and the effective nucleon mass in the nucleus was discussed.  相似文献

The quadrupole interaction of nuclear spin polarized8Li (I=2) and9Li (I=3/2) in LiNbO3 has been studied at room temperature. The polarization was achieved by optical pumping of a fast atomic beam with circularly polarized laser light. The atoms were implanted into a hexagonal LiNbO3 single crystal and the quadrupole splitting ofβ-NMR spectra was measured. A ratio of ¦Q(9Li)/Q(8Li)¦=0.88(4) for the nuclear quadrupole moments was deduced, yielding a new value of ¦Q(9Li)¦=25.3 (9) mb for the quadrupole moment of9Li.  相似文献

In the rich phase diagram of NaxCoO2, x=0.71 enjoys special stability and is called the Curie-Weiss metal due to its anomalous properties. Similarly, x=0.84 prepared from high temperature melt is a special end point beyond which the system phase separates. Using synchrotron x-ray diffraction on single crystals, we discovered sqrt[12]a and sqrt[13]a superlattice structures which we interpret as the ordering of Na (vacancy) clusters. These results lead to a picture of coexisting local moments and itinerant carriers and form the first step towards understanding the many anomalous properties of cobaltates.  相似文献

Dielectric properties of the new [NH(CH3)3]2ZnCl4 and [NH(CH3)3]2CdCl4 crystals from the [(CH3) n NH4-n ]2MeCl4 group have been investigated in a wide temperature range (4.2–320 K). A series of phase transitions has been discovered at T3 = 325 K,T4 = 251 K,T5 = 193 K, for [NH(CH3)3]2CdCl4 and at T3 = 309 K, T4 = 282 K, T5 = 269 K for [NH(CH3)3]2ZnCl4. A ferroelectric phase has been discovered in the temperature interval T4—T5 from the temperature and frequency dependence of the dielectric permittivity ε(T, v). According to optical investigations the existence of ferroelastic phases in the temperature interval T1 = 349 K–T2 = 391 K and below T5 for [NH(CH3)3]2CdCl4 and both above T3 and below T5 for [NH(CH3)3]2ZnCl4 has been ascertained.  相似文献

在二级轻气炮上,用高速电子相机扫描照相技术和改进的Mallory实验装置,对z切LiF,Al2O3(蓝宝石)和LiTaO3单晶材料的冲击透光性进行了对比测量,并用黑密度计提取出动态图像定量化的光强对比度变化曲线.结果表明,LiF单晶在102GPa压强下能够保持长时间的初始透光性不变,与公认的LiF具有优良的高压下透明性的认识一致.LiTaO3单晶在实验压力(139GPa)下变成基本不透明.而Al2O3单晶在131GPa冲击压力下则表现为透明性逐渐下降直至完全不透明.  相似文献

The electric-quadrupole moment of the (199)Hg+ 5d9 6s2 (2)D(5/2) state is measured to be theta(D,5/2) = -2.29(8) x 10(-40) C m2. This value was determined by measuring the frequency of the (199)Hg+ 5d10 6s (2)S(1/2) --> 5d9 6s2 (2)D(5/2) optical clock transition for different applied electric-field gradients. An isolated, mechanically stable optical cavity provides a frequency reference for the measurement. We compare the results with theoretical calculations and discuss the implications for the accuracy of an atomic clock based upon this transition. We now expect that the frequency shift caused by the interaction of the quadrupole moment with stray electric-field gradients will not limit the accuracy of the Hg+ optical clock at the 10(-18) level.  相似文献

We have synthesized and investigated physical properties of two new quaternary compounds Gd2CoAl4T2 (T= Si, Ge) single crystals, which are isostructural to Tb2NiAl4Ge2 and Er2CoAl4Ge2. The most important structural feature of these materials is the anti-CaF2-type CoAl4T2 slabs. These materials show metallic behavior below 300 K and there is a long-range antiferromagnetic (AFM) transition appearing at 20 and 27 K for Gd2CoAl4Ge2 and Gd2CoAl4Si2, respectively. Resistivity and heat capacity measurements also confirm these bulk AFM transitions. Further analysis indicates that this long-range antiferromagnetism should result from the magnetic interaction between local moments of Gd3+ ions.  相似文献

In the hydrides YMn2H3.0, the nuclear magnetic resonance of 1H nuclei has been measured under external fields up to 50 kOe at 4.2 K and three 1H NMR signals have been observed. The 1H hyperfine fields corresponding to these NMR signals can be discussed in terms of the dipole interaction between the H nuclei and the localized moments of the Mn(or Fe) atoms surrounding H atoms.  相似文献

Correlations between neutrons have been studied in the 96 MeV18O +64Ni reaction, yielding the compound nucleus82Kr at 88 MeV excitation energy. The observed anticorrelation at small relative momenta evidences dominance of quantum-statistical interference between identical particles, from which it is possible to deduce an average source lifetimeτ=(1.2±0.1)·10?20 s as an upper limit disregarding possible contributions to the correlation function from the competingnn final-state interaction. Lacking appropriate model calculations at present, it is argued that further refinements in the theoretical treatment of strong interactions in the final state are needed to enable truly quantitative conclusions from small-angle nucleon-nucleon correlations at such large timescales.  相似文献

Nuclear magnetic resonance (magic angle spinning) spectra of 7Li, 27Al, 87Rb, and 133Cs nuclei are measured in Li2 M 3Al(MoO4)4 triple molybdates (M = Rb, Cs) for the first time. Analysis of the nuclear magnetic resonance spectra reveal considerable asymmetry in the distribution of the electric charge throughout the crystal lattices of the compounds.  相似文献

Theγ spectra emitted in the decay of122Xe and122I have been investigated using Ge(Li) detectors and a Ge(Li)-NaI coincidence apparatus. 14γ transitions with energies between 61.8 and 416.9 keV have been identified in the decay of122Xe, 44 transitions between 564.0 and 3,291.0 keV in the decay of122I. The lifetime of the Ar13+ 1s(2)2s(2)2p2p0(3/2) metastable level was determined at the Heidelberg Electron Beam Ion Trap to be 9.573(4)(5). The accuracy level of one per thousand makes this measurement sensitive to quantum electrodynamic effects like the electron anomalous magnetic moment (EAMM) and to relativistic electron-electron correlation effects like the frequency-dependent Breit interaction. Theoretical predictions, adjusted for the EAMM, cluster about a lifetime that is approximately shorter than our experimental result.  相似文献

The recently discovered (Li1-xFex)OHFeSe superconductor with Tc about 40 K provides a good platform for investigating the magnetization and electrical transport properties of FeSe-based superconductors. By using a hydrothermal ion-exchange method, we have successfully grown crystals of (Li1-xFex)OHFeSe. X-ray diffraction on the sample shows the single crystalline PbO-type structure with the c-axis preferential orientation. Magnetic susceptibility and resistive measurements show an onset superconducting transition at around Tc=38.3 K. Using the magnetization hysteresis loops and Bean critical state model, a large critical current Js is observed in low temperature region. The critical current density is suppressed exponentially with increasing magnetic field. Temperature dependencies of resistivity under various currents and fields are measured, revealing a robust superconducting current density and bulk superconductivity.  相似文献
