Angular correlations between the gamma rays following the decay of the 8.555 MeV state in28Si, known to have natural parity, were measured. The spin assignment of this state, found in this experiment, isJ π=6+. Energy sequence of the lowestJ π=2+, 4+ and 6+ states in28Si compares well with the energy sequence of the ground state rotational bands in20Ne and24Mg.  相似文献

Angular distributions of differential cross sections and vector analyzing powers were measured forl=0, 1 and 2 transitions induced by the \(^{26} Mg\left( {\overrightarrow d ,\tau } \right)^{25} Na\) reaction at 52 MeV. The following spins and parities of final states in25Na were deduced:J π =1/2+ (1.069 MeV), 3/2+ (2.202 MeV), 5/2+ (2.914 MeV), 1/2? (3.995 MeV) and 3/2? (5.190, 5.690, 6.549 and 7.603 MeV). The DWBA analysis of proton and neutron pick-up spectra obtained from a parallel measurement of the26Mg(d, τ)25Na and26Mg(d, t)25Mg reactions allows the identification ofT=3/2 analog states in25Mg. Interpretation in terms of the Nilsson model of energies and spectroscopic factors of the first 1/2? and 3/2? hole states observed in proton pick-up reactions from even 1d 5/2- shell nuclei indicates a close correspondence of the final state deformations with those of the first excited 2+ states in the target nuclei.  相似文献

Theγ-decay of levels in21Ne up to 10 MeV excitation energy has been investigated byn — γ coincidence measurements initiated with the18O(α, nγ) reaction at 12, 13, 14.5 and 15.4 MeV bombarding energies. Spin(-parity) assignments of excited states are obtained by combining then — γ angular correlation measurements performed atE α=11, 11.82 and 13.6 MeV with a consideration of lifetimes, neutron penetrabilities of the unbound states, and information from the mirror nucleus21Na. The resulting values of Ex[keV]?J π are as follows: 4525-5+, 4686-3+, 5431-7+, 5549-3+, 5819-7?, 6175-7+, 6268-9+, 6550-9, 6639-9, 7006-7+, 7041-9, 7356-7 or 9, 7422-11(?), 7648-7+, 7981-11 or (7+), 8154-9, 8240-11, 8664-9? or 11 or 13?, 9401-13?, 9867-13? or 15+, 9941-13? or 15 or 17+. The assignment of mirror levels in21Ne —21Na has been extended to the 6175 keV level of21Ne. Excitation energies, electromagnetic properties, Gamow?Teller matrix elements and spectroscopic factors of positive parity states are compared with the results of shell-model calculations which employ a unifieds—d shell Hamiltonian and the unrestricted configuration space of the 0d 5/2 —1s 1/2—0d3/2 shell. Collective properties contained in shell model wave functions are explored up to the termination of bands atJ=17/2 or 19/2. The spectrum of intruder states in21Ne is observed to begin with a 5628 keV,J π=7/2+ state. The 7422, 8664 and 9401 keV levels are assigned as members of previously established negative-parity rotational bands.  相似文献

The26Mg(α,nγ) reaction has been used in connection with a neutron time-of-flight spectrometer to search for high spin states in29Si betweenE x =8.4 and 11.4 MeV. The γ-decay of twenty levels has been observed. Nine levels have not been observed before. A candidate for theJ π=13/2?,K=7/2 state has been located with theE x =8761 keV level.  相似文献

Highly excited levels of33S populated by α-particle capture in29Si have been investigated forE α=1.962 MeV to 4.287 MeV. Excitation curves measured with Ge(Li) and BF3 detectors are reported. More than fifty resonances can be identified with levels in33S. (α, γ) angular distributions measured on five strong resonances have yieldedJ π values 1/2+, 3/2 +, 5/2?, 5/2?, 5/2? and 3/2+ respectively, for theE x =10.054, 10.466, 10.523, 10.721, 10.758 and 10.776 MeV levels in33S. Elastic scattering experiments have been performed and theJ π assignments are found to be consistent with thel-values inferred from the elastic scattering data. Decay schemes from the above33S levels have been proposed. A new level at 9.245 MeV is also suggested and theJ π values for the 4.425 and 2.87 MeV states are shown to be consistent with 7/2+ and 3/2+ assignment, respectively. Nuclear Reactions29Si(α, γ) and29Si(α, α),E α=1.962-4.287 MeV. Measured relative σ(E). DeducedJ π andE γ of33S levels. New33S level atE x =9.245 MeV. Enriched targets.  相似文献

The nucleus5Li has been investigated within an excitation range of 17.8 – 21.1 MeV by measuring γ-rays from the reaction D(τ, γ o)5Li. In this range, excitation functions and angular distributions have been taken. The excitation functions exhibit broad maxima at 20 MeV which indicate, in agreement with other results, a level or a group of levels. Assuming that there is only one resonance, its properties are discussed. On the basis of the existing and the new experimental results, aJ π=1/2+ assignment is proposed besides the former resultJ π=(3/2, 5/2)+.  相似文献

The16O(3He,?γ)18F reaction atE(3He)=2.95 MeV was used to study the low-lying states in18F belowE x =3.2 MeV. A combination of γ-ray angular distribution and linear polarization measurements using a single planar Ge(Li) polarimeter resulted in aJ π =1? assignment to the 3134 keV state. In addition, the positive parity assignments to the 937(3+) and 1702(1+) keV states have been verified. Information on branching and mixing ratios as well as on lifetimes are reported. The results are discussed in terms of the weak-coupling and strong-coupling models.  相似文献

Excited states of 68As nucleus were populated through the 12C(58Ni,pn) reaction and investigated by in-beam γ-spectroscopic methods. The NORDBALL detector array equipped with charged particle and neutron detectors was used to detect the evaporated particles and γ-rays. The level scheme of 68As was constructed on the basis of γγ-coincidence relations up to 6 MeV excitation energy and Jπ = (15+). The structure of the nucleus is discussed in the framework of the interacting boson-fermion-fermion model. The states below 2.3 MeV are described as members of proton-neutron-phonon multiplets.  相似文献

Excited Jπ=0+ states in 40Ca have been identified by the observation of L=0 angular distributions in the 38Ar(τ, n) 40Ca reaction. Strong transitions are observed to the ground state, the known 2p–2h at 9.38 (T=1) and 11.98 MeV (T=2), and to states at 8.28 and 10.65 MeV. The strongest excited-state transition is to the 8.28 MeV state, which we identify as the 2p–2h T=0 state. The Jπ=0+ state at 7.30 MeV which has been suggested as the 2p–2h T=0 state is not observed.  相似文献

A 70% polarized thermal neutron flux of 6 · 106 s? was obtained by total reflexion of a 1 m long Co-Fe mirror. Naturel targets of Al, Co, Mo and Sm where exposed to this beam. The measurement of the circular polarization of high energy captureγ-rays yielded some information about nuclear properties: For the transition from the compound state to the ground state in28Al we derived theE2/M1 mixing ratioδ=?2.0 +1.0 ?0.5 . In96Mo we obtained for the spin of the 2.25 MeV levelJ π=2? or 3?. If in agreement with theory the spin for this level isJ π=3? the compound state for this decay hasJ π=2+ for over 50% of the transitions. In accordence with a previous measurement we found for the spins of the doublet in60Co at 0.278 and 0.288 MeVJ π=3+ or 4+. For150Sm we determined the overall circularγ-polarization. The measurement is in agreement with the statistical nuclear model yielding for the compound stateJ π=4?. We confirmed the earlier spin assignementJ π=4+ for the 0.777 MeV level of150Sm.  相似文献

Resonances in the reaction60Ni(p, γ)61Cu have been studied in the proton energy rangesE p=1840–1880 keV and 2220–2300 keV. Decay schemes and branching ratios have been determined for a number of resonances, three of which are identified as analogue fragments of the 283 keV (1/2?) and 656 keV (3/2?) states in61Ni. The split analogue components of the 283 keV state atE x≈6.6 MeV are seen to decay significantly to a group of states in the region of excitation 3–4 MeV. Gamma ray angular distributions yield the following resonance spins:E p=2248 keV,J=3/2;E p=2263 keV,J=5/2. Also, the61Cu ground stateβ + decay to parent levels in61Ni has been compared to the respective analogue stateM1 gamma decay to the61Cu ground state.  相似文献

The reaction 12C(12Li, α)14N was studied to investigate the isospin mixing of high-lying levels in 18F. Excitation functions and angular distributions of the α-transitions to the ground, first and second excited states in 14N were measured for bombarding energies from 3.2 to 8.0 MeV. The isospin-forbidden cross section for the excitation of the lowest T = 1 state in 14N at 2.31 MeV was found to lie between 1–2 % of that of the allowed transitions. A partial wave analysis of the α1 angular distribution data revealed a strong resonance with Jπ = 2+ at Ex = 15.99 MeV. Arguments are presented which tentatively identify this resonance as being due to two close-lying 2+ levels with different isospin.  相似文献

Theg-factor of theJ π=21/2+ isomeric state in111In (T 1/2=13.3 ns) and of theJ π=6+ isomeric state in112Sn (T 1/2=13.7 ns) were measured using the spin rotation method. The result obtained for theJ π=21/2+ level in111In,g=+0.47 (2), indicates that this state has an almost pure ((πg 9/2)?1 νg 7/2 νd 5/2) shell model configuration. The experimental valueg=+0.04 (3) for theJ π=6+ isomer in112Sn agrees with the theoretical value calculated within the frame of the BCS model.  相似文献

In an investigation ofT=7/2 analogue states in51V the50Ti(p, γ) excitation curve has been measured for proton bombarding energies 1280–1480 keV and 2340–2660 keV. From the (p, γ) resonances 29 new virtual levels in the region of 9316–9510 keV excitation energy in51V were determined. The strong resonance atE p=1 371 keV has been identified as the isobaric analogue state of the51Ti ground state by determining spin and parity of this resonance to be 3/2?. There is no evidence for a strong analogue resonance in51V corresponding to the 1.16 MeV p 1/2 state in51Ti. The γ-decay of the p 3/2 analogue state has been studied by measuring branching ratios and angular distributions of primary γ-transitions with a Ge(Li) detector.M1E2 mixing ratios have been determined for these transitions. The total width of the resonance for γ-decay is found to be Γγ=1.6±0.4 eV. New bound levels in51V have been introduced at 3576, 4651 and 4661 keV excitation energy. TheJ π values of the 3085, 4770, and 4863 keV states are determined to be 5/2?, 5/2?, 3/2?, respectively. The analogue-antianalogueM1 transition strength is found to be considerably reduced compared to the situation ins-d shell nuclei.  相似文献

The data on the? lab=7° excitation functions of12C(15N,4He)23Na reaction betweenE cm=9.42 and 17.33 MeV for 28 states upto an excitation energy of 8.940 MeV in23Na have been subjected to statistical analysis. In addition to statistical fluctuations, the results of the analysis indicate the existence of non-statistical structures atE cm=10.66, 10.93, 11.38, 12.62, 13.16, 15.32 and 16.18 MeV.  相似文献

28Si level scheme up to 14.5 MeV excitation energy is reevaluated using information from two preceding papers. It consists of approximately 250 levels which are almost completely characterized according to the quantum numbersI, π, T of the levels. The properties of positive-parity states are compared to the predictions of shell model calculations within the completes-d basis space using the unifieds-d shell Hamiltonian. A spectrum of 48 experimentalT=1 states between 9.3 and 16 MeV is reproduced with a rms deviation of only 150 keV. A calculation of radiative widths and γ-decay modes which uses free-nucleong-factors yields excellent agreement with experiment and confirms that quenching of M1 transitions is only marginal in28Si. The detailed shell model analysis of theT=0 spectrum is extended to the limiting energy whereT=1 wave function admixtures, not contained in the theory, become important experimentally. This happens at 6–8 MeV above the yrast state, depending on the spin value. Altogether it appears that a spectrum of 171 levels below 14.5 MeV, which have positive or unassigned parity, is almost completely accounted for by the model. Apparent intruder states from outside thes-d shell space are observed atE x =10 945 keV (I π=4+) and 12 860 keV (I π=6+) and are interpreted as members of aK π=0+ rotational band.  相似文献

The 19.7 MeV structure in the system 12C + 16O is investigated by measuring angular distributions and excitation functions for elastic and inelastic scattering with very high resolution. From a quasi phase shift analysis, it is deduced that the structure is a true resonance with Jπ = 14+. The deduced small elastic partial width indicates that the structure of this state is intermediate between a molecular and a compound state.  相似文献

Assignments of I, π, T are made to 30 levels in 32S between 7.35 and 11.76 MeV excitation energy, making the spectroscopy of the T= 0 states rather complete up to 10 MeV and that of the T = 1 states up to 12 MeV. A reassessment of existing data in the light of the new results clarifies the spectrum of I π = 1+, T = 1 states up to 15 MeV excitation energy. High-spin states (I = 52 - 7) below 10 MeV excitation energy have been investigated by n t γ angular-correlation measurements with the 29Si(α, nγ) reaction at E α 14.4 MeV. Five g-wave resonances of the 31P(p, γ) reaction, leading to the formation of I π + 4+, 5+ states in 32S, have been identified between 10 and 12 MeV excitation energy. The spectrum of T = 1 states between 10.7 and 12 MeV, has been investigated by measurements of γ-ray angular distributions on resonances of the 31P(p, γ) reaction and by measurements of resonance strengths. Several 32S levels between 7.35 and 8.75 MeV excitation energy were studied as final states in resonance decays. Finally a search was performed for I π = 0+ resonances of the 28Si(α, γ) reaction.  相似文献

The reaction12C+12C has been studied in the energy rangeE cm=2.45–6.15 MeV byγ-ray spectroscopy. Gamma-ray transitions from a large number of excited states in20Ne,23Na and23Mg were observed, which show strong and rapid yield variations. When the influence of the Coulomb barrier is removed, these structures appear superimposed on a flat reaction yield, which does not show a strong increase at low energies, in contrast to previous work. These results obviate the need for the hypothesis of absorption under the barrier at least down toE cm=2.45 MeV. The nuclear and astrophysical aspects of the data are discussed.  相似文献

Angular distribution measurements of gamma-rays from the22Ne(p, γ)23Na reaction on theE p =897, 1006, 1091 and 1278 keV resonances have been made. Spin and parity assignments for several bound states are presented together with multipole mixing ratios for transitions from resonance and bound states. The level at 6617 keV (7/2+) is proposed to be a member of the rotational band based on the Nilsson orbit 5(K π=5/2+).  相似文献
