Sources of149Nd were produced by thermal-neutron irradiation of enriched148Nd. High resolution Ge(Li) spectrometers were used to collect gamma-ray singles and coincidence spectra in the study of the decay of 1.7-h149Nd. A total of 214 gamma rays have been assigned to the decay of149Nd, and 201 of these transitions have been placed in a level scheme of149Pm involving 42 excited states. Absolute values for the beta-group intensities were determined for transitions to the149Pm levels, and spin and parity assignments were made for many of the observed states. The experimentally determined level structure of149Pm was compared with corresponding levels in other odd-mass Pm and Eu nuclides. Interpretations were made in terms of the core-coupling model. The level scheme of95Tc has been investigated with Ge(Li)-detectors by observing the γ-rays after the decay of 1.65 h95Ru. The energies and intensities of theγtransitions were extracted fromγ-singles andγγ-coincidence spectra. In the decay of95Ru 88γ-transitions were observed; a scheme of95Tc with 25 levels is proposed into which 86 transitions could be accomodated. Spin and parity assignments were made from log (ft) values andγ-ray branching ratios. The level structure of95Tc is compared with that of the other odd Tc isotopes.  相似文献

The decay of149Gd(9.4d) to the levels of149Eu has been studied using large volume high resolution Ge(Li) and NaI(Tl) detectors,γ-γ coincidence and directional correlation experiments have been performed. Newγ-rays at energies 131.9, 278.6, 384.7, 415.7, 599.2, 726.5, 734.7, 956.4 and 1,231.1 keV in149Eu have been observed. Three new levels in149Eu have been placed at 956.4, 1,082.0 and 1,231.1 keV. Spin-parity assignments have been made to some of the levels in149Eu. Multipolarity assignments have been made for most of the electromagnetic transitions from the conversion coefficients obtained through the knowledge of ourγ-transition intensities and the published conversion-electron intensities. Based on the newγ-transitions observed in the singles and coincidence spectra, a revised level scheme has been proposed for149Eu and compared with previously published level schemes. Transitions in146Eu and146Sm were studied using a double-focussing beta-ray spectrometer and a Ge(Li) detector. Internal conversion and gamma-ray intensities were determined. The internal conversion spectrum of the three 155, 115 and 116 keV cascading transitions in146Eu was studied for all subshells.K-,L- andM-subshell ratios were determined andE2/M1 mixing ratios were deduced for these three transitions. Intensities from theN- andO+P-shells were determined and compared to theoretical calculations. All internal conversion intensities were found to be in agreement with theoretical data for pureM1 character with smallE2 admixtures for all the three transitions. Selected parts of the internal conversion spectrum of the transitions in146Sm were restudied at 0.06% momentum resolution. This study was mainly concentrated on four transition doublets feeding and deexciting the close lying levels at 1,380 and 1,381 keV. A new transition with 702.20 keV energy was detected in the 702–703 keV transition group. Internal conversion coefficients were deduced using reported gamma-ray intensities. Multipole characters of the transitions were deduced and used as a basis for a discussion of the spins and parities of the lower lying excited states of146Sm.  相似文献

Theγ spectra emitted in the decay of122Xe and122I have been investigated using Ge(Li) detectors and a Ge(Li)-NaI coincidence apparatus. 14γ transitions with energies between 61.8 and 416.9 keV have been identified in the decay of122Xe, 44 transitions between 564.0 and 3,291.0 keV in the decay of122I. Level schemes having 7 excited levels for122I and 21 excited levels for122Te are proposed.  相似文献

Two Ge(Li) detectors were used to investigateγ transitions in155Gd produced by the decay of155Eu. Relative intensities were determined for the weak lines at 18.8, 26.5, 58.0, and 86.0 keV. Angular correlations for fourγ cascades were measured. As results, the mixing ratios of the 45.3 and 86.5 keVγ lines were determined, and it was shown that the sign of the mixing ratio is positive for theγ line at 18.8 keV and negative for the line at 60.0 keV. Spins 5/2 and 3/2 for the 86.5 and 105.3 keV levels, respectively, are consistent with the data, and spin 5/2 for the 105.3 keV level is inconsistent with it.  相似文献

The level scheme of153Eu was investigated by observing the gamma-rays following theβ ?-decay of the 47 h153Sm using a high purity Ge(HPGe) detector and a Ge(Li)-Nal(Tl) fast-slow coincidence spectrometer. The energies and relative intensities of about fifty six gamma-ray transitions were determined. Five of them at energies of 124.91, 431.65, 443.24, 487.75 and 623.73 keV were observed and confirmed for the first time in the present singles and/or gamma-gamma coincidence measurements. These new transitions could be fitted into a proposed level scheme of153Eu. Theβ ?-decay branching ratios as well as the log (ft) values were obtained.  相似文献

The decay of126Sb to126Te is studied by use of Ge(Li) detectors in singles and coincidence arrangements. The gamma-gamma directional correlations of six cascades are measured. A level scheme is constructed where all transitions observed are located. The characteristics of several of the levels are assigned, on basis of the logft values deduced and the directional correlation results. Mixing ratios are deduced for three transitions. From the comparison of the relative intensities ofE1 andE2 transitions depopulating the same levels, threeE1 transitions are concluded to be strongly retarded.  相似文献

The level structure of101Ru has been investigated from the decays of101m Rh and101g Rh. For the gamma-ray measurements Ge(Li) detectors with effective volumes of 24 and 43 cm3 were used for singles and coincidence work, and several new transitions were observed. Conversion electron spectra from the101m Rh decay were investigated with a 50 cm double-focussing beta spectrometer.K-conversion coefficients were determined by combining internal conversion and gamma-ray intensities. For the stronger transitions probable multipolarity assignments have been obtained from these coefficients and also fromK/L andL-subshell ratios. All transitions observed were fitted into a decay scheme, in which tentative spin-parity assignments of all states are given.  相似文献

Electron capture decay of175Hf(70 d) provides a possibility for unambiguous determination of the sign and magnitude of multipole mixing ratios for 89 keV and 114 keV transitions in175Lu. This is because both gamma rays are in coincidence with the 230 keV transition which is of a pureE2 character. The results of theγγ directional correlation measurements, in terms ofE2/M1 mixing ratiosδ, areδ 89 = 0.11±0.07 andδ 114 = 0.465±0.005. In addition the directional correlation measurements of the 89γ- 343γ and 319γ-114γ cascades yieldδ 343 = 0.08±0.07 andδ 319 = ?0.152±0.015.Radioactivity 175Hf from174Hf(n, γ); measuredγγ(θ) deducedδ(E2/M1); Ge(Li) detectors.  相似文献

Theγ-radiation following the β? decay of73Ga has been studied. Singlesγ andγγ coincidence spectra were recorded with Ge(Li)-detectors. 17γ-rays were assigned to transitions in73Ge, where 11 excited levels are proposed. From logft values based onγ-transition intensities, spin and parity assignments for the levels were deduced. The half-life of73Ga was measured to (4.86±0.03) h. From allowedβ-transitions the ground state of73Ga was assigned 3/2?.  相似文献

The energy level schemes of152Gd and152Sm have been established on the basis of singlesγ-spectra, andγ- γ coincidence measurements. Ge(Li) detectors were used to study the gamma spectra produced in the EC/β+ and β? decays of152Eu to152Sm and152Gd, respectively. Thirteen new transitions are reported and data from eleven coincidence gates enabled five new levels to be suggested. Relative intensities and logf t values were calculated and spin/parities deduced. Comparisons are made with new predictions of the Interacting Boson Model.  相似文献

The level scheme of154Eu has been investigated by means of thermal neutron captureγ-rays and conversion electrons. The high energyγ-ray spectrum from thermal neutron capture in enriched153Eu has been studied in the energy range of 5700 to 6500 keV. Low energyγ radiation has been observed with Ge(Li) and Si(Li) detectors from 5 to 300 keV and conversion electrons have been measured from 15 to 300 keV. Low energy (n, γγ) coincidences and half lives of transitions have been measured. The data, combined with three very recent studies of the 8? isomer decay in154Eu has led to the construction of a level scheme with 12 excited levels. The energy level scheme of124Te has been established on the basis of singlesγ-spectra, andγ-γ coincidence measurements carried out using a dual parameter data collection system. Ge(Li) detectors were used to study the gamma spectra produced in theβ ? decay of124Sb. Eleven new transitions and two new energy levels are proposed. Relative intensities, branching ratios,α(K) and logft values were calculated and multipolarities, spins and parities deduced. Comparisons are made with predictions of the Interacting Boson Model: in a first order perturbation approximation to theSU (5) limit, using the complete IBA-1 Hamiltonian, and in theO(6) limit.  相似文献

I121 was produced by bombarding a target of enriched Te122 with deuterons of 25 MeV. Theγ rays associated with the decay of I121 have been investigated using a Ge(Li) detector and a Ge(Li)-NaI coincidence set up. 58γ transitions ranging from 212.5 to 1841.8 keV have been identified. A decay scheme for the I121→Te121 decay which accounts for 50 of the observedγ transitions is proposed.  相似文献

With a HPGe-NaI (T1) Compton suppression spectrometer and a HPGe-NaI(T1) coincidence circuitυ-ray singles spectra, coincidence spectra and theγ-γ directional correlational functions have been obtained. The deduced mixing ratios of multipolarities are presented. The energy levels and the relativeB(E2) values of the variousγ-transitions in154Gd nucleus have been calculated both in the IBA model and it's extended version with boson surface delta interaction (BSDI).  相似文献

The level structure and the decay properties of low-lying levels in 63Cu have been investigated via the 60Ni(α, pγ)63Cu reaction at Eα = 11.7MeV. Using a Ge(Li) detector, the correlations of twenty-five primary γ-rays in coincidence with protons, stopped in an annular detector at approximatively 180° with respect to the beam direction, were measured. From these measurements, branching ratios, γ-ray mixing ratios and spin assignments have been obtained for most of the levels up to 2.4 MeV excitation.  相似文献
