The refractive indices of tetragonal (1−x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 (PMN-xPT) single crystals were measured with a prism coupler and their linear electro-optic (EO) properties were investigated from 20 to 80 °C by the automated scanning Sénarmont system with an ac field. The composition and temperature effect on the EO coefficients were also discussed. It has been found that their EO coefficients are much larger than that of widely used LiNbO3 single crystal and the calculated half-wave voltages are also much lower, which enable the operation at lower voltages and the smaller device dimensions. Since the excellent EO properties are very stable and such high quality single crystals with large-size have been obtained, the PMN-xPT single crystals are a very promising candidate for EO modulation applications. By linking to the polarization-related quadratic EO coefficients, we find that the linear EO properties are related with the spontaneous polarization and dielectric constants.  相似文献

The gas laser-Sénarmont compensator-biascope combination has enabled non-destructive measurement of residual surface stresses in float glasses using the optical waveguide effect in tin-diffused surface layers. The biascope can detect surface stress as low as 10 kg cm-2. Annealing and elastic deformation effects in glasses are clearly identified.  相似文献

In industrial thermal tempering of glass, the knowledge of the homogeneity of compressive residual stress field on the glass product is fundamental to guarantee the quality of the tempered glass product. In this paper, we use the acoustoelasticity phenomenon in order to estimate the residual stress distribution by using acoustic surface wave. We present an experimental setup based on a double interferometric detection in which an aspheric lens is associated with a beam splitter and a YAG laser whose power is 100 mW. This relative high power enables us to carry out measurements on surface flat glass although optical reflection coefficient is typically weak (< 10%). Using these two points of detection, the evolution of relative surface wave velocity is obtained with a good accuracy. At last, a comparison between the numerical modeling and experimental results shows the potentiality of an ultrasonic method to estimate stress distribution in flat glass tempering.  相似文献

The recent advances in digital photoelasticity have made it possible to use it conveniently for the stress analysis of articles and components made of glass. Depending on the application, the retardation levels to be measured range from a few nanometres to several thousand nanometres, which necessitates different techniques and associated equipments. This paper reviews the recent advances in the photoelasticity of glass with a focus on the techniques/methods developed in the last decade. A brief introduction to the residual stress in glass is provided initially to bring out its tensorial nature. The subsequent sections are organised thematically rather than chronologically, for better readability and easy access of information.  相似文献

This paper reports on the accuracy and sensitivity of digital speckle pattern interferometry (DSPI) when it is combined with the hole drilling technique for measuring residual stresses. The in-plane displacement field generated by the introduction of a small hole is determined using an automated data analysis approach. This method is based on the calculation of the optical phase distribution through a phase-shifting method and the application of a robust iterative phase unwrapping algorithm. It is experimentally demonstrated that residual stresses can be measured with a relative uncertainty of 7.5%. It is also shown that the minimum value of residual stress that can be determined with the DSPI and hole drilling combined technique is about 10% of the yield stress of the material.  相似文献

By means of three-dimensional finite element method (FEM) which is based upon the micro-mechanical model of fiber-reinforced composites, this paper selects representative volume elements and studies the effect of the five factors, namely, cooling rate, matrix elasticity modulus, fiber elasticity modulus, interphase elasticity modulus and fiber volume fraction, on the interphase thermal residual stress and its distribution law in epoxy resin NPEF-170/unidirectional glass fiber composites. The results indicate that thermal residual stress is mainly distributed on the fiber and the matrix of neighboring interphase; the thermal residual stress on the fiber and the matrix declines as the distance to the interphase layer grows; and it tends to zero at the distance of 1.5 times the radius of the fiber away from the interphase. The increase in any of the four factors, namely, cooling rate, matrix elasticity modulus, fiber elasticity modulus, and fiber volume fraction would trigger the rise of thermal residual stress in epoxy resin NPEF-170/unidirectional glass fiber composites. The additional flexible interphase layer can eliminate and transfer thermal residual stress effectively, whose effectiveness mainly depends on the difference between interphase elasticity modulus and fiber elasticity modulus.  相似文献

In this paper, we quantify the statistical coherence between financial time series by means of the Rényi entropy. With the help of Campbell’s coding theorem, we show that the Rényi entropy selectively emphasizes only certain sectors of the underlying empirical distribution while strongly suppressing others. This accentuation is controlled with Rényi’s parameter qq. To tackle the issue of the information flow between time series, we formulate the concept of Rényi’s transfer entropy as a measure of information that is transferred only between certain parts of underlying distributions. This is particularly pertinent in financial time series, where the knowledge of marginal events such as spikes or sudden jumps is of a crucial importance. We apply the Rényian information flow to stock market time series from 11 world stock indices as sampled at a daily rate in the time period 02.01.1990–31.12.2009. Corresponding heat maps and net information flows are represented graphically. A detailed discussion of the transfer entropy between the DAX and S&P500 indices based on minute tick data gathered in the period 02.04.2008–11.09.2009 is also provided. Our analysis shows that the bivariate information flow between world markets is strongly asymmetric with a distinct information surplus flowing from the Asia–Pacific region to both European and US markets. An important yet less dramatic excess of information also flows from Europe to the US. This is particularly clearly seen from a careful analysis of Rényi information flow between the DAX and S&P500 indices.  相似文献

ZrO2/SiO2多层膜由相同沉积条件下的电子束蒸发方法制备而成, 通过改变多层膜中高(ZrO2)、低(SiO2)折射率材料膜厚组合周期数的方法,研究了沉积 在熔石英和BK7玻璃 基底上多层膜中残余应力的变化. 用ZYGO光学干涉仪测量了基底镀膜前后曲率半径的变化, 并确定了薄膜中的残余应力. 结果发现,该多层膜中的残余应力为压应力,随着薄膜中膜厚 组合周期数的增加,压应力值逐渐减小. 而且在相同条件下,石英基底上所沉积多层膜中的 压应力值要小于BK7玻璃基底上所沉积多层膜中的压应力值. 用x射线衍射技术测量分析了膜 厚组合周期数不同的ZrO2/SiO2多层膜微结构,发现随着周期数增 加,多层膜的结晶程 度增强. 同时多层膜的微结构应变表现出了与所测应力不一致的变化趋势,这主要是由多层 膜中,膜层界面之间复杂的相互作用引起的. 关键词: 2/SiO2多层膜')" href="#">ZrO2/SiO2多层膜 残余应力 膜厚组合周期数  相似文献

In this study, an improved energy-based method is proposed to measure the equi-biaxial residual stress of bulk materials using spherical indentation. Through analysis of the load–depth curve and residual indentation profile, two calculation methods of the energy of residual stress are proposed, one of which is determined from the load–depth curve and the other based on the Hertizan theory. Finite element analysis was used to establish their relationship, which is the function of the residual stress and material parameters. According to reverse analysis, the proposed method can be used to quickly and effectively determine residual stress. To verify the model, indentation experiments were performed using a ZHU0.2/Z2.5 testing machine. A comparison with conventional X-ray diffraction results showed that the improved method is suitable for the quantitative assessment of residual stress in industrial facilities.  相似文献

The “equivalent von Mises stress” (EVMS) was first proposed in 1994 by Preumont and co-workers as a frequency domain reformulation of von Mises stress, for the fatigue analysis of vibrating structures under multiaxial random stresses. The EVMS criterion is a simple, but very powerful tool to estimate fatigue damage with time domain analysis of simulated stress histories, or frequency domain evaluation by spectral methods. Despite its simplicity, the EVMS criterion is based on some inherent assumptions, which may lead to inaccurate damage estimations in some particular conditions (e.g. materials with very different axial/bending and torsion S–N curves). This paper aims to derive some analytical expressions to measure the accuracy of EVMS criterion for various combinations of material fatigue properties and loading conditions (e.g. combined axial/bending and torsion loadings). These expressions constitute an original contribution, as similar analytical approaches have not been proposed in literature. The accuracy of EVMS approach is then tested with typical material fatigue properties from literature. The range of applicability of EVMS criterion is then be identified for specified intervals and combinations of S–N parameters.  相似文献

A digital speckle pattern interferometry and hole drilling combined system is developed to determine the magnitude of the residual stress in a aluminum thin plate subjected to an uniform uniaxial tensile load. Performing automated fringe analysis, the optical data contained in the speckle interferograms are quickly converted into values of residual stress. The evaluation is carried out through the measurement of the in-plane displacement field generated by the introduction of the small hole. The displacement field is determined from the calculation of the optical phase distribution by means of a phase shifting method. The magnitude of the residual stress is finally evaluated through a least-squares calculation and compared with the stress value applied to the specimen.  相似文献

由于硅与玻璃阳极键合需要在相对较高的温度下进行,因此材料之间会因热膨胀系数失配而产生较大的热应力,该应力对压力传感器的性能影响较大。对采用单晶硅横膈膜作为敏感膜与玻璃环阳极键合形成压力参考腔的封装,用有限元方法对硅玻璃环键合后因温度变化所产生的应力分布进行了系统仿真分析,并采用泰曼一格林干涉仪对键合后硅片的变形进行测量。测量结果显示硅膜的挠度为283nm,测量结果与仿真结果基本一致。  相似文献

The possibility is considered of increasing the degree of compensation of residual aberrations in holographic long lateral shear interferometry by using several reference patterns recorded at different lateral shear lengths. The effects of repeating thickness periods on stress are studied in ZrO2/SiO2 multilayers deposited by electron-beam evaporation on BK7 glass and fused-silica substrates. The results show that the residual stress is compressive and decreases with an increase of the periods of repeating thickness in the ZrO2/SiO2 multilayers. At the same time, the residual stress in multilayers deposited on BK7 glass is less than that of samples deposited on fused silica. The variation of the microstructure examined by x-ray diffraction shows that microscopic deformation does not correspond to macroscopic stress, which may be due to variation of the interface stress.  相似文献

利用非线性有限元软件MSC.Marc,建立了微小非球面玻璃透镜超精密模压的有限元模型,并进行了微小非球面玻璃透镜模压数值模拟分析.通过对比模拟出的不同加工参量下的成型透镜和模具的残余应力分布结果,得出最优的超精密模压成型的模压速率和模压温度范围,并解释了模压速率和模压温度影响微小非球面玻璃透镜成型质量的原因.模拟可以对实际的大批量生产微小非球面玻璃透镜提供有力的帮助.  相似文献

采用ZYGO MarkIII-GPI数字波面干涉仪对以K9玻璃为基底的电子束蒸发方法制备的HfO2薄膜中的残余应力进行了研究,讨论了沉积速率、氧分压这两种工艺参量对HfO2薄膜残余应力的影响.实验结果表明:在所有的工艺条件下,薄膜的残余应力均为张应力;随着沉积速率的升高,氧分压的减小,薄膜的堆积密度逐渐增大,而残余应力呈减小趋势.同时用X射线衍射技术测量分析了不同工艺条件下HfO2薄膜的晶体结构,探讨了HfO2薄膜晶体 关键词: 残余应力 2薄膜')" href="#">HfO2薄膜 沉积速率 氧分压  相似文献

HfO2 films are deposited on BK7 glass substrates by electron beam evaporation. The influences of annealing between 100℃ and 400℃ on residual stresses and structures of HfO2 films are studied. It is found that little differences of spectra, residual stresses and structures are obtained after annealing at lower temperatures. After annealing at higher temperatures, the spectra shift to short wavelength, the residual stress increases with the increasing annealing temperature. At the same time, the crystallite size increases and interplanar distance decreases. The variations of optical spectra and residual stress correspond to the evolutions of structures induced by annealing.  相似文献

A technique based on optical operations on moiré patterns for image encryption and decryption is developed. In this method, an image is encrypted by a stochastic geometric moiré pattern deformed according to the image reflectance map. The decryption is performed using pixel correlation algorithm in the encrypted image and the stochastic geometrical moiré pattern. The proposed technique has a number of advantages over existing encryption techniques based on moiré gratings. No original moiré grating can be reconstructed only from the encrypted image. Stochastic moiré grating can be deformed in any direction what is an important factor of encryption security. Finally, the quality of the decrypted image is much better compared to decryption methods based on the superposition of the regular and deformed moiré gratings. The proposed technique has a great potential, because the process is performed using computational algorithms based on optical operations and optical components are avoided.  相似文献

A multiple laser system consisting of CO2 line-shaped and Nd-YAG pulsed lasers was applied to cleave a soda-lime glass substrate in this study. Due to an increase of absorption coefficient of the wavelength of 1.06 μm for Nd-YAG laser on the soda-lime glass at high temperatures, the glass sheets were preheated by the CO2 line-shaped laser and followed with the pulsed Nd-YAG laser to generate a mixture fracture mode on the substrate. The stress distribution on the glass substrate cleaved by the multiple laser beams has been analyzed. An uncoupled thermal–elastic analysis based on the finite-element method (FEM) was made. The numerical results show that the stress field of the fracture region is caused by a complex stress state and the cleavages are significantly affected by the pulsed laser. A clean cut of the soda-lime glass substrate could be obtained due to a large shear stress state on the cutting direction with the pulsed laser radiated on the glass substrate.  相似文献
