Using random pinning force simulations, we study numerically the alternating current (ac) response of the driven disordered vortex lattice. In the presence of a superimposed ac force, mode-locking steps are observed in the velocity-direct current (dc) force characteristics at high dc forces, where a smectic order occurs. The step width shows damped oscillations with the strength of interaction between vortices, in good agreement with recent experiments.  相似文献

We study bosons loaded in a one-dimensional optical lattice of twofold p-orbital degeneracy at each site. Our numerical simulations find an anti-ferro-orbital p(x)+ip(y), a homogeneous p(x) Mott-insulator phase, and two kinds of superfluid phases distinguished by the orbital order (anti-ferro-orbital and paraorbital). The anti-ferro-orbital order breaks time-reversal symmetry. Experimentally observable evidence is predicted for the phase transition between the two different superfluid phases. We also discover that the quantum noise measurement is able to provide a concrete evidence of time-reversal symmetry breaking in the first Mott phase.  相似文献

An alternative derivation of the known action-angle map of the standard open Toda lattice is presented based on its identification as the natural map between two gauge slices in the relevant symplectic reduction of the cotangent bundle of GL(n,R)GL(n,R). This then permits to interpret Ruijsenaars? action-angle duality for the Toda system in the same group-theoretic framework which was established previously for Calogero type systems.  相似文献

A model of quasi-two-dimensional d-wave superconductor, with strong nesting properties of the Fermi surface is considered. The orbital effect of a moderate magnetic field applied perpendicularly to the conducting planes is studied in the mean field approximation. It is shown that the field can induce a time reversal symmetry breaking SDW order coexisting with the superconducting order and can open a gap over the whole Fermi surface. 基于疏水固壁改性会引起润湿性反转的特点,采用考虑固体与液体间分子力的格子Boltzmann方法,从壁面的线性和瞬时改性两方面对润湿性反转现象进行了数值模拟,并结合流体体积方法处理界面层质量.结果表明:壁面线性改性的过程中润湿性反转变化平稳,润湿所需时间大幅减少,所得到的接触角与固液吸引力系数的关系与其他文献结果一致;壁面瞬时改性幅度越大说明固壁对液滴作用力越强,表现为润湿性变化越明显,瞬时改性后接触角随时间呈指数规律变化,这与现有结论相符合.研究发现:在改性条件下液膜铺展过程中伴随着振荡变化,线性改性的振动峰值与改性幅度相关;瞬时改性的液膜速度会在某一时刻突然增大,这种现象与夹带空气有关.  相似文献

Dynamics of the flux lattice in the mixed state of strongly type-II superconductor near the upper critical field subjected to AC field and interacting with a periodic array of short range pinning centers is considered. The superconductor in a magnetic field in the absence of thermal fluctuations on is described by the time-dependent Ginzburg–Landau equations. For a special case of the δ-function shaped pinning centers and for pinning array commensurate with the Abrikosov lattice (so that vortices outnumber pinning centers) an analytic expression or the AC conductivity is obtained. It is found that below a certain critical pinning strength and for sufficiently low frequencies there exists a sliding Abrikosov lattice, which vibrates nearly uniformly despite interactions with the pinning centers. At very small frequencies the conductivity diverges at the critical pinning strength.  相似文献

The collision-generated hybridization which has been found responsible for the on-site mixing of the atomic-likef-state and the band-liked states in mixed valence solids has been studied for the cerium solid. A practical expression which depends on the lattice constant and temperature has been obtained for the collision-generated hybridization. Numerical calculations show that the valence varies continuously with lattice constant and that temperature makes the transition smoother. The collision-generated hybridization is found to be of significant strength in the intermediate valence regime; but over a wide range of the valence near 3.5 it varies rather slowly without preferring a particular valence. Factors which can assist the collision-generated hybridization in stabilizing the mixed valence phase at a particular lattice constant are discussed.  相似文献

The rich phase diagram of La1-xCaxMnO3 is the consequence of the interplay of spin, charge, orbital and lattice degrees of freedom, giving rise to several magnetic phases, Jahn–Teller distortions, spin-canting and phase separation, and orbital and charge order. Each Mn ion is in a mixed valent state of two magnetic configurations, Mn4+ and Mn3+. We study the phase diagram using mean-field slave bosons for the itinerant eg-electrons in two orbitals with excluded multiple occupancy of each site, Hund's rule interaction between the eg and t2g states and Jahn–Teller coupling of the eg orbitals to the lattice.  相似文献

We study the spontaneous symmetry breaking of a superfluid Bose-Fermi mixture in a two-dimensional double- well potential. The mixture is described by a set of coupled Gross-Pitaevskii equations. The symmetry breaking phenomenon is demonstrated in the two-dimensional double-well potential in the mixture. The results are summarized in the phase diagrams of the mixture particle numbers, which are divided into symmetric and asymmetric regions by the asymmetry ratios. The dynamical pictures of the spontaneous symmetry breaking induced by a gradual transformation of the single-well potential into a double-well one are also illustrated. The properties of the quantum degenerate mixture are explored using the realistic parameters for a 40 K- 87 Rb system.  相似文献

血栓引发的各种心血管疾病一直威胁着人们的健康. 在已经产生血栓的血管中, 脉动对于疏通血管有良好的作用. 由于血液的黏滞作用以及红细胞的惯性, 脉动流的频率会影响血管通栓的效果. 在分叉管模型中, 低压差的条件下, 由于另一畅通管子的导通作用减少了回流, 导致通栓效果不理想. 通过增大压差和提高脉动流的振幅, 降低畅通管子导通作用的影响, 研究脉动流在分叉管中的通栓效果. 研究发现, 脉动低频通栓效果好, 但是通栓需要的时间较长; 高频通栓时间短, 但是当频率高于一定值, 则通栓效果不明显. 细胞和管壁的摩察系数对通栓效果也有影响.  相似文献

When a Bose-Einstein condensate is set to rotate,superfluid vortices will be formed,which finally condense into a vortex lattice as the rotation frequency further increases.We show that the dipole-dipole interactions renormalize the short-range interaction strength and result in a distinction between interactions of parallel-polarized atoms and interactions of antiparallel-polarized atoms.This effect may lead to a spontaneous breakdown of the rapidly rotating Bose condensate into a novel anti-ferromagnetic-like vortex lattice.The upward-polarized Bose condensate forms a vortex lattice,which is staggered against a downward-polarized vortex lattice.A phase diagram related to the coupling strength is obtained.  相似文献

We investigate the ground state of bosons with long-range interactions in the large U limit on a triangular lattice. By mapping this system to the spin-1/2 XXZ model in a magnetic field, we can apply the spin wave theory to this study. We demonstrate how to construct the phase diagrams within the spin wave theory. The phase diagrams are given in an extensive parameter region, where, besides the superfluid phase, diverse solid and supersolid phases are shown to exist in this model. Especially, we find that the phase diagram obtained in this method is consistent with the one obtained previously using numerical techniques in the Ising limit. This confirms the effectiveness of our method. We analyze the stability of all the obtained supersolids and show that they will not be ruined by the quantum fluctuations. We observe that the quantum fluctuations in the stripe supersolid phase could be enhanced by the external field. We also discuss the relevance of our result with the experiment that may be realized with ultracold bosonic polar molecules in a triangular optical lattice.  相似文献

We investigate quantum effects on a nonrelativistic neutral particle with a permanent magnetic dipole moment that interacts with an electric field. This neutral particle is also under the influence of a background that breaks the Lorentz symmetry. We focus on the Lorentz symmetry violation background determined by a space-like vector field. Then, we show that the effects of the violation of Lorentz symmetry can yield an attractive Coulomb-type potential. Furthermore, we obtain the bound state solutions to the Schrödinger-Pauli equation and show that the spectrum of energy is a function of the Aharonov-Casher geometric quantum phase. Finally, we discuss the arising of persistent spin currents.  相似文献
