Reaction of (C6H3-2-AsPh2-n-Me)Li (n = 5 or 6) with [AuBr(AsPh3)] at -78 degrees C gives the corresponding cyclometallated gold(I) complexes [Au2[(mu-C6H3-n-Me)AsPh2]2] [n = 5, (1); n = 6, (9)]. 1 undergoes oxidative addition with halogens and with dibenzoyl peroxide to give digold(II) complexes [Au2X2[(mu-C6H3-5-Me)AsPh2]2] [X = Cl (2a), Br (2b), I (2c) and O2CPh (3)] containing a metal-metal bond between the 5d9 metal centres. Reaction of 2a with AgO2CMe or of 3 with C6F5Li gives the corresponding digold(II) complexes in which X = O2CMe (4) and C6F5 (6), respectively. The Au-Au distances increase in the order 4 < 2a < 2b < 2c < 6, following the covalent binding tendency of the axial ligand. Like the analogous phosphine complexes, 2a-2c and 6 in solution rearrange to form C-C coupled digold(I) complexes [Au2X2[mu-2,2-Ph2As(5,5-Me2C6H3C6H3)AsPh2]] [X = Cl (5a), X = Br (5b), X = I (5c) and C6F5 (7)] in which the gold atoms are linearly coordinated by As and X. In contrast, the products of oxidative additions to 9 depend markedly on the halogens. Reaction of 9 with chlorine gives the gold(I)-gold(III) complex, [ClAu[mu-2-Ph2As(C6H3-6-Me)]AuCl[(6-MeC6H3)-2-AsPh2]-kappa2As,C] (10), which contains a four-membered chelate ring, Ph2As(C6H3-6-Me), in the coordination sphere of the gold(III) atom. When 10 is heated, the ring is cleaved, the product being the digold(I) complex [ClAu[mu-2-Ph2As(C6H3-6-Me)]Au[AsPh2(2-Cl-3-Me-C6H3)]] (11). Reaction of 9 with bromine at 50 degrees C gives a monobromo digold(I) complex (12), which is similar to 11 except that the 2-position of the substituted aromatic ring bears hydrogen instead halogen. Reaction of 9 with iodine gives a mixture of a free tertiary arsine, (2-I-3-MeC6H3)AsPh2 (13), a digold diiodo compound (14) analogous to 11, and a gold(I)-gold(III) zwitterionic complex [I2Au(III)[(mu-C6H3-2-AsPh2-6-Me)]2Au(I)] (15) in which the bridging units are arranged head-to-head between the metal atoms. The structures of 2a-2c and 4-15 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The different behaviour of 1 and 9 toward halogens mirrors that of their phosphine analogues; the 6-methyl substituent blocks C-C coupling of the aryl residues in the initially formed oxidative addition product. In the case of 9, the greater lability of the Au-As bond in the initial oxidative addition product may account for the more complex behaviour of this system compared with that of its phosphine analogue.  相似文献

A series of novel platinum(II)-2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine (trpy) complexes containing (thioalkyl)dicarba-closo-dodecaborane(12) (closo-carborane) derivatives were prepared by treatment of the labile precursor species [Pt(MeCN)(trpy)](OTf)2 with R(CH2)nSH (R = closo-1,2-carborane, n = 0-3; R = closo-1,7-carborane, n = 1; R = closo-1,12-carborane, n = 1) in the presence of NEt3 to afford brightly colored complexes of the type [PtS(CH2)nR(trpy)]OTf. All products were characterized by means of multinuclear (1H, 13C, 11B, and 195Pt) 1D- and 2D-NMR spectroscopy, ESI-MS, and, for the 1,7-carborane derivative, X-ray crystallography. Preliminary in vitro cytotoxicity studies of selected complexes against human ovarian carcinoma cells are also reported.  相似文献

Phosphino-amino-thiazolines and -thiazoles can exist in solution in two tautomeric forms, in which the N-H proton involves the endo-cyclic or exo-cyclic nitrogen atom. The two tautomers show different reactivities toward alcoholysis; the imino form degrades more rapidly. Their bischelated platinum complexes were studied in the solid state by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Thus, the unique stereoelectronic features of the [Pt(PN(th))] (PN(th)=diphenylposphino-aminothiazoline) moiety were revealed. The complex cis-[Pt(PN(th))(2)] reacts with gold(I) salts to yield dimetallic compounds, the molecular structures of which have been determined by X-ray diffraction. Solid cis-[Pt(PN(th))(2)] shows vapoluminescent properties if exposed to alcohol vapors. A combined photophysical and crystallographic investigation has been carried out to clarify the unprecedented rigidochromic role of the alcohol in this phenomenon.  相似文献

The new mononuclear palladium(II) and platinum(II) [M(p-SC6F4(CF3))2(dppe)] complexes M = Pd 1a, Pt 2a; [M(o-SC6H4(CF3))2(dppe)] M = Pd 1d, Pt 2d as well as the previously known [M(SC6F5)2(dppe)] M = Pd 1b, Pt 2b and [M(p-SC6HF4)2(dppe)] M = Pd 1c, Pt 2c, have been used as metalloligands for the preparation of the heteroleptic bimetallic complexes [M2(μ-SRf)2(dppe)2](SO3CF3)2 M = Pd, Rf = p-C6F4(CF3) 3a, C6F53b, p-C6HF43c, o-C6H4(CF3) 3d; M = Pt, Rf = p-C6F4(CF3) 4a, C6F54b, p-C6HF44c and o-C6H4(CF3) 4d. Variable temperature 19F NMR experiments show that the fluorothiolate bridged bimetallic compounds are fluxional in solution whereas mononuclear complexes are not. The solid state X-ray diffraction structures of [Pd(p-SC6HF4)2(dppe)] (1c), [Pt(SC6F5)2(dppe)] (2b) and [Pt(o-SC6H4(CF3))2(dppe)] (2d) show square-planar coordination around the metal centers. The solid state molecular structure of the compound [Pt2(μ-o-SC6H4(CF3))2(dppe)2](SO3CF3)2 (4d), exhibit a planar [Pt2(μ-S)2] ring with the sulfur substituents in an anti configuration.  相似文献

Platinum(II) dimethyl complexes of the three triphosphines PhP(CH2CH2CH2PPh2)2, PhP(CH2CH2PPh2)2, and PhP(CH2CH2PMe2)2 have been shown by 31P NMR to undergo exchange of the terminal phosphino groups. An exchange route involving a five-coordinate platinum(II) complex is proposed.  相似文献

The reactions of [M2Cl2(μ-Cl)2(PMe2Ph)2] with mercapto-o-carboranes in the presence of pyridine afforded mono-nuclear complexes of composition, [MCl(SCb°R)(py)(PMe2Ph)] (M = Pd or Pt; Cb° = o-C2B10H10; R = H or Ph). The treatment of [PdCl2(PEt3)2] with PhCb°SH yielded trans-[Pd(SCb°Ph)2(PEt3)2] (4) which when left in solution in the presence of pyridine gave another substitution product, [Pd(SCb°Ph)2(py)(PEt3)] (5). The structures of [PdCl(SCb°Ph)(py)(PMe2Ph)] (1), [Pd(SCb°Ph)2(PEt3)2] (4) and [Pd(SCboPh)2(py)(PEt3)] (5) were established unambiguously by X-ray crystallography. The palladium atom in these complexes adopts a distorted square-planar configuration with neutral donor atoms occupying the trans positions. Thermolysis of [PdCl(SCb°)(py)(PMe2Ph)] (2) in TOPO (trioctylphosphine oxide) at 200 °C gave nanocrystals of TOPO capped Pd4S which were characterized by XRD pattern and SEM.  相似文献

The ionic complexes [Pd(NP 3)X]X [NP 3 = tris[2-(diphenylphosphino)ethyl]amine, X = Cl (1), Br(2)] and [M(PP 3)X]X [PP 3 = tris[2-(diphenylphosphino)ethyl]phosphine, M = Pd, X = Cl (3), Br(4); M = Pt, X = Cl (5), Br (6)] contain square pyramidal (1, 2) and trigonal bipyramidal (3- 6) cations with three fused chelate rings to M and one M-X bond. By addition of AgX salts (X = Cl, Br, NO 3) an unexpected ring-opening reaction occurs with formation of the heteronuclear species PdAg(NP 3)X 3 [X = Cl (7), Br (8)], MAg(PP 3)X 3 [M = Pd, X = Cl (9), Br (10), NO 3 (13);M = Pt, X = Cl (11), Br (12), NO 3 (14)]. The complexes have been characterized in the solid state and solution. The X-ray crystal structures of 9 and 13 reveal a distorted square-planar arrangement to Pd(II) that is coordinated to three P of PP 3 (the central and two terminal atoms) and to one chloride (9) or one oxygen atom of NO 3 (13). The resultant dangling phosphorus of the ring opening is bound to Ag(I) that completes the three- [PAgCl 2 ( 9)] and four-coordination [PAg(ONO 2)(O 2NO) (13)] through the donor atoms of the anions with the nitrates in 13 unusually acting as both mono- and bidentate ligands. Complexes 7, 8, 10, and 11 undergo oligomerization in solution. Complex 10 oligomerizes giving rise to the ionic compound [Pd 4Ag 2(PP 3) 2 Br 9]Br ( 10a) whose X-ray crystal structure indicates the presence of cations with a Pd(mu-Br) 3Pd unit that connects via bromide bridges two BrPdP 2PPAg Br 2 fragments containing distorted square-planar and trigonal-planar Pd(II) and Ag(I) centers, respectively. The palladium(II) metal centers in the central unit afford the five-coordination (PdBr 5) with a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry. The ionic system [Pt 2Ag 2(PP 3) 2 Cl 5]Cl (11a) consists of chloride anions and heteronuclear monocations. The X-ray crystal structure reveals that the cations contain two distorted square-planar ClPtP 3 units bridged by one PAgCl(mu-Cl) 2AgP fragment that is bearing tetrahedral (PAgCl 3) and trigonal planar PAgCl 2 silver(I) centers. Further additions of the corresponding AgX salts to complexes 7- 14 did not give rise to any new ring-opening reaction.  相似文献

Treatment of HgCl(2) with 2-LiC(6)H(4)PPh(2) gives [Hg(2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(2)] (1), whose phosphorus atoms take up oxygen, sulfur, and borane to give the compounds [Hg[2-C(6)H(4)P(X)Ph(2)](2)] [ X = O (3), S (4), and BH(3) (5)], respectively. Compound 1 functions as a bidentate ligand of wide, variable bite angle that can span either cis or trans coordination sites in a planar complex. Representative complexes include [HgX(2) x 1] [X = Cl (6a), Br (6b)], cis-[PtX(2) x 1] [X = Cl (cis-7), Me (9), Ph (10)], and trans-[MX(2) x 1] [X = Cl, M = Pt (trans-7), Pd (8), Ni (11); X = NCS, M = Ni (13)] in which the central metal ions are in either tetrahedral (6a,b) or planar (7-11, 13) coordination. The trans disposition of 1 in complexes trans-7, 8, and 11 imposes close metal-mercury contacts [2.8339(7), 2.8797(8), and 2.756(8) A, respectively] that are suggestive of a donor-acceptor interaction, M --> Hg. Prolonged heating of 1 with [PtCl(2)(cod)] gives the binuclear cyclometalated complex [(eta(2)-2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))Pt(mu-2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(2)HgCl] (14) from which the salt [(eta(2)-2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))Pt(mu-2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(2)Hg]PF(6) (15) is derived by treatment with AgPF(6). In 14 and 15, the mu-C(6)H(4)PPh(2) groups adopt a head-to-tail arrangement, and the Pt-Hg separation in 14, 3.1335(5) A, is in the range expected for a weak metallophilic interaction. A similar arrangement of bridging groups is found in [Cl((n)Bu(3)P)Pd(mu-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(2)HgCl] (16), which is formed by heating 1 with [PdCl(2)(P(n)()Bu(3))(2)]. Reaction of 1 with [Pd(dba)(2)] [dba = dibenzylideneacetone] at room temperature gives [Pd(1)(2)] (19) which, in air, forms a trigonal planar palladium(0) complex 20 containing bidentate 1 and the monodentate phosphine-phosphine oxide ligand [Hg(2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))[2-C(6)H(4)P(O)Ph(2)]]. On heating, 19 eliminates Pd and Hg, and the C-C coupled product 2-Ph(2)PC(6)H(4)C(6)H(4)PPh(2)-2 (18) is formed by reductive elimination. In contrast, 1 reacts with platinum(0) complexes to give a bis(aryl)platinum(II) species formulated as [Pt(eta(1)-C-2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(eta(2)-2-C(6)H(4)PPh(2))(eta(1)-P-1)]. Novel neutral biimidazolate or bibenzimidazolate palladium(II) and platinum(II) complexes of the type M(NN)2(dpe) [M = Pd, Pt; (NN)22? = BiIm2?, BiBzIm2?. dpe = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino) ethane] have been obtained by reacting MCl2(dpe) with TI2(NN)2. Complexes M(NN)2(dpe) which are Lewis bases react with HClO4 or [M(dpe)(Me2CO)2](ClO4)2 to yield, respectively, mononuclear cationic complexes of general formula [M{H2(NN)2](dpe) (M = Pd, Pt; H2(NN)2 = H2BiIm, H2BiBzIm) and homobinuclear palladium(II) or platinum(II) cationic complexes of the type [M2{μ - (NN)2}(dpe)2](ClO4)2. Reactions of M(BiBzIm)(dpe) with [Rh(COD) (Me2CO)X](ClO4) render similar heterobinuclear palladium(II)-rhodium(I) and platinum(II)-rhodium(I) cationic complexes, of general formula [(dpe)M(μ-BiBzIm)Rh(COD)](ClO4) (M = Pd, Pt; COD = 1,5-cyclooctadiene). Di- and mono-carbonyl derivatives [(dpe)M(μ-BiBzIm)Rh(CO)L](ClO4) (M = Pd, Pt; L = CO, PPh3) have also been prepared. The structures of the resulting complexes have been elucidated by conductance studies and IR spectroscopy.  相似文献

A series of water-soluble platinum(II) complexes containing bidentate imino pyridine ligands L of the general formula LPtX2 (X=Cl or Me) have been prepared. The dichloro complexes are very stable in water or dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), even at elevated temperatures, whereas the dimethyl complexes are less stable in these strongly polar solvents. In DMSO, an equilibrium between the complex LPtMe2 and (DMSO)2PtMe2 is observed, whereas in water decomposition is observed within 1 day at room temperature.  相似文献

The reaction of 4'-(2-propyn-1-oxy)-2,2':6',2'-terpyridine (HC[triple bond]CCH2Oterpy) with trans-[PtI2(PR3)2] (R = Et, (n)Bu, Ph) results in the regioselective formation of the metalloditopic ligands trans-[Pt(C[triple bond]CCH2Oterpy)2(PR3)2], crystallographic data for which are presented. Each ditopic ligand reacts with FeCl(2).4H(2)O to give heterometallomacrocycles, the smallest of which is a [2 + 2] macrocycle, confirmed structurally for R = Et. The NMR spectroscopic data confirm the formation of symmetrical species, i.e. macrocyclic and not polymeric species. The distribution of products has been investigated using pulsed-field gradient spin-echo (PGSE) diffusion NMR spectroscopy, and indicates that the kinetic products from the reactions of 1, 2 or 3(L) with iron(II) are [Fe(n)L(n)](2n+) with n = 2, 3 or 4. For L = 1 and 2, these mixtures of products convert in solution to the thermodynamically favoured [Fe(2)L(2)](4+).  相似文献

New palladium(II) and platinum(II) complexes containing bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine (bpma) and saccharinate (sac), [Pd(bpma)(sac)](sac)·2H2O (1), [Pt(bpma)(sac)](sac)·2H2O (2), [Pd(bpma)Cl](sac)·2H2O (3) and [Pt(bpma)(sac)]Cl·1.5H2O (4), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, NMR and TG-DTA. A single-crystal X-ray analysis of 3 and 4 proved a distorted square-planar geometry around the metal ions with one tridentate bpma ligand and one Cl or sac monoanion. The [Pd(bpma)Cl]+ ions in 3 form dimers by intermolecular N-H?Cl and Pd?Pd interactions. The cations reside in the centers of a hydrogen-bonded honeycomb network formed by the uncoordinated sac ions and the lattice water molecules, while the cations of 4 are connected by N-H?Cl and OW-H?O hydrogen bonds into one-dimensional chains. Cyclic planar tetrameric and trimeric water clusters were observed in 3 and 4, respectively. Cytotoxicity of 1-4 was tested against A549, C6 and CHO cells. Although 2 and 4 have no cytotoxicity, the best results were achieved for 1 and 3. In particular, the cyctotoxic activity of 3 is comparable to cisplatin.  相似文献

Reaction of cyclometalated platinum(II) precursor [Pt(C^N)Cl(dmso)], 1, C^N = N(1), C(2′)-chelated deprotonated 2-phenylpyridine and dmso = dimethylsulfoxide, with 1 equivalent of triphenyl phosphine, PPh3, or 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane, PTA, gave the complex [Pt(C^N)Cl(PPh3)], 2, or [Pt(C^N)Cl(PTA)], 3, respectively. On the basis of careful multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, supported by a number of 2D NMR experiments, structures of the complexes 2 and 3 in solution were determined to be neutral four coordinate. The X-ray crystallography indicated that the solid-state structure of complex 3 comprised a common square-planar geometry around platinum(II). Cytotoxicity of the complexes 2 and 3 was studied in three human cancer cell lines derived from ovarian carcinoma (CH1), lung carcinoma (A549), and colon carcinoma (SW480).  相似文献

A 1:1 addition of Ph2PCl to an ethereal solution of C2F5Li (formed from the reaction of BuLi with C2F5Cl) yields Ph2P(C2F5)(abbreviated pfepp) (1). The introduction of a fluoroethyl group results in a phosphine with electronic characteristics that approximate phosphites, bridging the electronic gap between traditional donor phosphine ligands and more electrophilic phosphine ligands like PhP(C2F5)2 (2). The pfepp ligand 1 is isolated as a high boiling liquid, which crystallizes upon standing at room temperature in an inert atmosphere. A series of Pt(II) complexes of the type trans-L2PtCl2 (L = pfepp 3; PhP(C2F5)2 4) have been prepared and structurally characterized by multinuclear NMR, IR and X-ray crystallography. The crystal structure of is the first example of a structurally characterized monodentate phosphine with a pentafluoroethyl pendant group.  相似文献
