Let M be a complete module of a purely algebraic field of degree n3, let be the lattice of this module and let F(X) be its form. By we denote any lattice for which we have = , where is a nondiagonal matrix satisfying the condition ¦-I¦ , I being the identity matrix. The complete collection of such lattices will be denoted by {}. To each lattice we associate in a natural manner the decomposable form F(X). The complete collection of forms, corresponding to the set {}, will be denoted by {F} It is shown that for any given arbitrarily small interval (N–, N+), one can select an such that for each F(X) from {F} there exists an integral vector X0 such that N– < F(X0) < N+.Translated from Zapiski Nauchnykh Seminarov Leningradskogo Otdeleniya Matematicheskogo Instituta im. Let be a finite-dimensional hereditary algebra over a finite field k, () and () be, respectively, the Hall algebra and the composition algebra of , be the isomorphism classes of finite dimensional -modules and I the isomorphism classes of simple -modules. We define and , in , to be the right and left derivations of () respectively. By using these derivations and the action of the braid group on the set of exceptional sequences of -mod, we provide an effective algorithm of calculating the root vectors of real Schur roots. This means that we get an inductive method to express u as the combinations of elements ui in the Hall algebra, where i I and in is any exceptional -module. Because of the canonical isomorphism between the Drinfeld–Jimbo quantum group and the generic composition algebra, our algorithm is applicable directly to quantum groups. In particular, all the root vectors are obtained in this way in the finite type cases.  相似文献

Motivated by the known characterizations of equicontinuity in the dual of a Schwartz space, a nuclear space, or a strongly nuclear space,we introduce the concepts of a -sequence and of a ()-sequence in the dual of an arbitrary lcs [E,], and we investigate the corresponding topologies and () on E of uniform convergence on these sequences. Here is a normal sequence space such that . Under favorable enough conditions on , including the nuclearity of its normal topology , [,] acts as a universal generator for those lcs [E,] which satisfy =. Under somewhat weaker assumptions on , [,()] is a universal generator for the lcs [E,] with =(). These results cover e.g. the cases of -nuclear spaces and of nuclear spaces known from the recent literature. As an application we show that every non-trivial ultrabornological lcs is representable as an inductive limit of isomorphic copies of [, ( , )], where is any nuclear power series space of infinite type with stable exponent sequence.  相似文献

We consider measurable subsets {ofR}n with 0<m()<, and we assume that has a spectral set . (In the special case when is also assumed open, may be obtained as the joint spectrum of a family of commuting self-adjoint operators {H k: 1kn} in L 2 () such that each H k is an extension of i(/x k) on C c (), k=1, ..., n.)It is known that is a fundamental domain for a lattice if is itself a lattice. In this paper, we consider a class of examples where is not assumed to be a lattice. Instead is assumed to have a certain inhomogeneous form, and we prove a necessary and sufficient condition for to be a fundamental domain for some lattice in {ofR}n. We are thus able to decide the question, fundamental domain or not, by considering only properties of the spectrum . Our criterion is obtained as a corollary to a theorem concerning partitions of sets which have a spectrum of inhomogeneous form.Work supported in part by the NSF.Work supported in part by the NSRC, Denmark.  相似文献

A hyperarithmetic language is considered, obtained by adding to the arithmetic language a special ternary predicateH which acts as the universal predicate for (for some scale of constructive ordinals ). The language expresses a hierarchy {}< of classes of formulas which is the constructive analog of the initial -section of the classical hyperarithmetic hierarchy. Some properties of this hierarchy are introduced which give a convenient constructive theoryT . It is shown that the majorizing semantics introduced in [1] (for an equivalent variant see [2]) can be extended to the sentences of the language for sentences of the arithmetic language. The basis for the construction of the majorant is the idea (stated in [2]) of relating the majorant to deducibility in systems with an -rule.Translated from Zapiski Nauchnykh Seminarov Leningradskogo Otdeleniya Matematicheskogo Instituta im. We investigate the category mod of finite length modules over the ring =A k , where is a V-ring, i.e. a ring for which every simple module is injective, k a subfield of its centre and A an elementary k-algebra. Each simple module E j gives rise to a quasiprogenerator P j = A E j . By a result of K. Fuller, P j induces a category equivalence from which we deduce that mod j mod EndP j . As a consequence we can(1) construct for each elementary k-algebra A over a finite field k a nonartinian noetherian ring such that modA mod(2) find twisted versions of algebras of wild representation type such that itself is of finite or tame representation type (in mod)(3) describe for certain rings the minimal almost split morphisms in mod and observe that almost all of these maps are not almost split in Mod.  相似文献

Let be an associative ring. For every natural number n there is a canonical homomorphism n: K2,n()K2(), where K2 is the Milnor functor and K2,n() the associated unstable K-group. Dennis and Vasershtein have proved that if n is larger than the stable rank of , n is an epimorphism. It is proved in the article that if n – 1 is greater than the stable rank of , the homomorphism n is an isomorphism.Translated from Zapiski Nauchnykh Seminarov Leningradskogo Otdeleniya Matematicheskogo Instituta im. The Riemann hypothesis is equivalent to the conjecture that the de Bruijn–Newman constant satisfies 0. However, so far all the bounds that have been proved for go in the other direction, and provide support for the conjecture of Newman that 0. This paper shows how to improve previous lower bounds and prove that –2.710–9<. This can be done using a pair of zeros of the Riemann zeta function near zero number 1020 that are unusually close together. The new bound provides yet more evidence that the Riemann hypothesis, if true, is just barely true.  相似文献

The paper considers classes of -modules which are completely described by the set of annihilators of the elements of the modules of these classes. A number of conditions on such classes are translated into the language of left ideals. The connections found between classes of -modules and sets of left ideals of ring are used for the characteristics of classes of -modules related to the concept of torsion.Translated from Matematicheskie Zametki, Vol. 5, No. 3, pp. 381–390, March, 1969.The author would like to thank V. One investigates the minimality of derivative chains, constructed from the root vectors of polynomial pencils of operators, acting in a Hilbert space. One investigates in detail the quadratic pencil of operators. In particular, for L()=L0+L1+2L2 with bounded operators L00, L20 and Re L10, one shows the minimality in the space173-02 of the system {xk, kekxk}, where xk are eigenvectors of L(), corresponding to the characteristic numbers kin the deleted neighborhoods of which one has the representation L–1()=(–k)–1RK+WK() with one-dimensional operators Rk and operator-valued functions WK(), k=1, 2, ..., analytic for =k.Translated from Ukrainskii Matematicheskii Zhurnal, Vol. 42, No. 2, pp. 195–205, February, 1990.  相似文献

Let R be a complete discrete valuation domain with quotient field K, and let be an R-order in a semisimple K-algebra. Butler, Campbell, and Kovács have shown that R-free -modules decompose into -lattices when is representation-finite. Using the theory of ladder functors, we prove the converse by constructing indecomposable R-free -modules of infinite rank if is not representation-finite.Received: 23 March 2004  相似文献

In the present article there is given a characterization of power series spaces of finite type by linear topological invariants. This is used to give a complete characterization of the classes of subspaces and quotient spaces of any nuclear stable power series space 1(). It is further used for the investigation of exact sequences of the form Or()E()O. They are known to split for =+. It is shown that for r<+, p<+, but the sequence need not split. There are examples for for r=+, p<+. At last the characterization is used to determine the structure of certain systems of linear equations in infinitely many variables (ct. Mityagin [10], Probl. 4.6). At the end of the article we give conditions on a space E for the existence of a 1() such that E is a subspace or a quotient space of E and we give an example of an isomorphy proof using the previous results.  相似文献

Employing Bak's dimension theory, we investigate the nonstable quadratic K-group K 1,2n (A, ) = G 2n (A, )/E 2n (A, ), n 3, where G 2n (A, ) denotes the general quadratic group of rank n over a form ring (A, ) and E 2n (A, ) its elementary subgroup. Considering form rings as a category with dimension in the sense of Bak, we obtain a dimension filtration G 2n (A, ) G 2n 0(A, ) ; G 2n 1(A, ) ... E 2n (A, ) of the general quadratic group G 2n (A, ) such that G 2n (A, )/G 2n 0(A, ) is Abelian, G 2n 0(A, ) G 2n 1(A, ) ... is a descending central series, and G 2n d(A)(A, ) = E 2n (A, ) whenever d(A) = (Bass–Serre dimension of A) is finite. In particular K 1,2n (A, ) is solvable when d(A) < .  相似文献
