The aim of our paper is to study oscillatory and asymptotic properties of solutions of nonlinear differential equations of the third order with quasiderivatives. We prove comparison theorems on property A between linear and nonlinear equations. Some integral criteria ensuring property A for nonlinear equations are also given. Our assumptions on the nonlinearity of f are restricted to its behavior only in a neighborhood of zero and a neighborhood of infinity.   相似文献

The study on the existence of periodic solutions of higher order nonlinear functional difference equations with p-Laplacian is made. Sufficient conditions for the existence of at least one periodic solution of these equations are established, respectively. We give no restriction on the deviating function, which is the significance of the paper. Our result is based on Mawhin's continuation theorem. The methods we used to estimate a priori bound on periodic solutions are also new.  相似文献

In this article, an efficient hybrid method has been developed for solving some special type of nonlinear partial differential equations. Hybrid method is based on tanh–coth method, quasilinearization technique and Haar wavelet method. Nonlinear partial differential equations have been converted into a nonlinear ordinary differential equation by choosing some suitable variable transformations. Quasilinearization technique is used to linearize the nonlinear ordinary differential equation and then the Haar wavelet method is applied to linearized ordinary differential equation. A tanh–coth method has been used to obtain the exact solutions of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. It is easier to handle nonlinear ordinary differential equations in comparison to nonlinear partial differential equations. A distinct feature of the proposed method is their simple applicability in a variety of two‐ and three‐dimensional nonlinear partial differential equations. Numerical examples show better accuracy of the proposed method as compared with the methods described in past. Error analysis and stability of the proposed method have been discussed.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to establish comparison principles on property AA, between a nonlinear differential equation of the third order with deviating argument (with delay, advanced or mixed argument) and the corresponding linear equation without deviating argument. On the basis of these comparison principles the sufficient conditions for delay, advanced and mixed equations to have property AA are presented. The results obtained are compared with existing ones in the framework of the papers.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with a class of boundary value problems for nonlinear mixed impulsive integro-differential equations with deviating arguments. We establish a new comparison principle and use the method of upper and lower solutions together with the monotone iterative technique. In the paper we offer criteria for property (A) of the third-order nonlinear functional differential equation with advanced argument $(a(t)(x'(t))^\gamma )'' + p(t)f(x(\sigma (t))) = 0,$ , where $\mathop \smallint \limits^\infty a^{ - 1/\gamma } (s)ds = \infty $ . We establish new comparison theorems for deducing property (A) of advanced differential equations from that of ordinary differential equations without deviating argument. The presented comparison principle fill the gap in the oscillation theory.  相似文献

A simple technique is given in this paper for the construction and analysis of monotone iterative methods for a class of nonlinear partial differential equations. With the help of the special nonlinear property we can construct nonstationary parameters which can speed up the iterative process in solving the nonlinear system. Picard, Gauss–Seidel, and Jacobi monotone iterative methods are presented and analyzed for the adaptive solutions. The adaptive meshes are generated by the 1-irregular mesh refinement scheme which together with the M-matrix of the finite element stiffness matrix lead to existence–uniqueness–comparison theorems with simple upper and lower solutions as initial iterates. Some numerical examples, including a test problem with known analytical solution, are presented to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the adaptive and monotone properties. Numerical results of simulations on a MOSFET with the gate length down to 34 nm are also given.  相似文献

In this paper we prove a result on the existence and global attractivity of solutions of a nonlinear functional integral equations with deviating arguments. The investigations are placed in the Banach space of real functions defined, continuous and bounded on the real half-axis. The main tool used in consideration is a fixed point theorem of Krasnosel’skii type. A few examples illustrating the obtained results are also included.  相似文献

This paper considers the existence of positive solutions of four-point boundary value problems for fourth-order ordinary differential equations with deviating arguments and p-Laplacian. We discuss such problems in the cases when the deviating arguments are delayed or advanced, what may concern optimization issues related to some technical problems. To obtain the existence results, a fixed point theorem for cones due to Avery and Peterson is applied. According to the Author’s knowledge, the results are new. It is a first paper where a fixed point theorem for cones is applied to fourth-order differential equations with deviating arguments and p-Laplacian. Differential equations are often classified according to oscillatory/nonoscillatory properties of their solutions as equations having property A or property B. The aim of the paper is to state an equivalence theorem between property A and property B for third order differential equations. Some applications, to linear as well as to nonlinear equations, are given too. Particularly, we give integral criteria ensuring property A or B for nonlinear equations. Our only assumption on nonlinearity is its superlinearity in neighbourhood of infinity, hence our results apply also to Emden-Fowler type equations.The second author wishes to thank C.N.R. of Italy and Grant Agency of Czech Republic (grant 201/96/0410) which made this research possible.  相似文献
