A special time-optimal parabolic boundary-value control problem describing a one-dimensional heat-diffusion process is solved numerically. Using a bang-bang principle recently proved by Lempio, this problem can be transformed in such a way that the variables are jumps of bang-bang controls. A discretization is performed in two steps, and the convergence of the approximate solutions is proved. Finally, an algorithm to solve the discrete problem is developed and some numerical results are discussed.The author would like to thank Prof. F. The soft-clustered vehicle-routing problem (SoftCluVRP) extends the classical capacitated vehicle-routing problem by one additional constraint: The customers are partitioned into clusters and feasible routes must respect the soft-cluster constraint, that is, all customers of the same cluster must be served by the same vehicle. In this article, we design and analyze different branch-and-price algorithms for the exact solution of the SoftCluVRP. The algorithms differ in the way the column-generation subproblem, a variant of the shortest-path problem with resource constraints (SPPRC), is solved. The standard approach for SPPRCs is based on dynamic-programming labeling algorithms. We show that even with all the recent acceleration techniques (e.g., partial pricing, bidirectional labeling, decremental state space relaxation) available for SPPRC labeling algorithms, the solution of the subproblem remains extremely difficult. The main contribution is the modeling and solution of the subproblem using a branch-and-cut algorithm. The conducted computational experiments prove that branch-and-price equipped with this integer programming-based approach outperforms sophisticated labeling-based algorithms by one order of magnitude. The largest SoftCluVRP instances solved to optimality have more than 400 customers or more than 50 clusters.  相似文献

We consider a nonlocal boundary-value problem for the Poisson equation in a rectangular domain. Dirichlet conditions are posed on a pair of adjacent sides of a rectangle, and integral constraints are given instead of standard boundary conditions on the other pair. The corresponding difference scheme is constructed and investigated; an a priori estimate of the solution is obtained with the help of energy inequality method. In this paper, we present a cubically convergent method for finding the largest eigenvalue of a nonnegative irreducible tensor. A cubically convergent method is used to solve an equivalent system of nonlinear equations which is transformed by the tensor eigenvalue problem. Due to particular structure of tensor, Chebyshev’s direction is added to the method with a few extra computation. Two rules are designed such that the descendant property of the search directions is ensured. The global convergence is proved by using the line search technique. Numerical results indicate that the proposed method is competitive and efficient on some test problems.  相似文献

In the paper there are solved direct and inverse boundary problems and analytical solutions are obtained for optimization problems in the case of some nonlinear integral operators. It is modeled the plane potential flow of an inviscid, incompressible and nonlimited fluid jet, witch encounters a symmetrical, curvilinear obstacle—the deflector of maximal drag. There are derived integral singular equations, for direct and inverse problems and the movement in the auxiliary canonical half-plane is obtained. Next, the optimization problem is solved in an analytical manner. The design of the optimal airfoil is performed and finally, numerical computations concerning the drag coefficient and other geometrical and aerodynamical parameters are carried out. This model corresponds to the Helmholtz impermeable parachute problem.  相似文献

An inverse electromagnetic wave radiation problem simulating subsurface radio sensing is considered. It is assumed that synchronous external currents with unknown spatial density emerge in the subsurface medium. It is shown that their distribution can be found from the pulsed radiation waveformes measured along the border of the examined half-space. In a model formulation, the problem is reduced to the reconstruction of a 2D function from its integrals over a set of semicircles. An explicit solution of that tomographic problem is found by means of the Darboux equation. Numerical examples are given. Bibliography: 13 titles.  相似文献
