The left-right twin Higgs model contains a new vector-like heavy top quark, which mixes with the SM-like top quark. In this work, we studied the single vector-like top partner production via process e-γ→veTb at the International Linear Collider. We calculated the production cross section at tree level and displayed the relevant di erential distributions. The result shows that there will be 125 events produced each year with √s=2 TeV and the integrated luminosity Lint≈500 fb-1, and the b-quark tagging and the relevant missing energy E/T cut will be helpful to detect this new e ect. 相似文献

The littlest Higgs model with T-parity predicts the existence of the neutral, weakly interacting, new gauge boson BH, which can be seen as an attractive dark matter candidate. We study production of the new gauge boson BH via eγ and ep collisions. We find that BH can be abundantly produced via the subprocesses e-γ→L-BH and γq→BHQ, which might give rise to characteristic signals. Some discussions about the SM backgrounds for this kind of signals are also given. 相似文献

We investigate the potential of eγ collisions to probe anomalous Wtb couplings via the polarized single top quark production
process e+γ→tb̄νē. We find 95% confidence level limits on the anomalous coupling parameters F2L and F2R with an integrated luminosity of 500 fb-1 and , 1 and 1.5 TeV energies. The effects of top quark spin polarization on the anomalous Wtb couplings are discussed. It is shown
that polarization leads to a considerable improvement in the sensitivity limits.

Based on a simplified model including a singlet vector-like top quark T with charge |Q|=2/3,we analyze the prospects of observing T via the single T production in the tZ channel with Z decaying to neutrinos at the hadronhadron colliders. This simplified model only includes two free parameters, the coupling constant g* and the T quark mass mT.To investigate the observability of the single T production,we perform a detailed background analysis and detector simulation for the co... 相似文献

In this paper tree-level violation of weak isospin parameter, ρ in the frame of the littlest Higgs model is studied. The potentially large deviation from the standard model prediction for the ρ in terms of the littlest Higgs model parameters is calculated. The maximum value for ρ for f=1TeV, c=0.05,c′= 0.05 and υ′= 1.5GeV is ρ=1.2973 which means a large enhancement than the SM. 相似文献

With the high energy and luminosity, the planned ILC has the considerable capability to probe the new heavy particles predicted by the new physics models. In this paper, we study the potential to discover the lightest new gauge boson B_H of the littlest Higgs model via the processes e^+e^- ->r(Z)B_H at the ILC. The results show that the production rates of these two processes are large enough to detect B_H in a wide range of the parameter space, specially for the process e^+e^-->rB_H. Furthermore, there exist some decay modes for B_H which can provide the typical signal and clean background. Therefore, the new gauge boson B_H should be observable via these production processes with the running of the ILC if it exists indeed. 相似文献

The lightest new gauge boson BH with mass of hundreds GeV is predicted in the littlest Higgs model. BH should be accessible in the planned ILC and the observation of such particle can strongly support the littlest Higgs model. The realization of γγ and e-γ collisions would open a wider window to probe BH. In this paper, we study the new gauge boson BH production processes e-γ→e-γ 相似文献

We perform a comparative study for the LHC di-photon Higgs signal in three different littlest Higgs models with T-parity (named LHT-Ⅰ, LHT-Ⅱ and LHT-Ⅲ). We find that compared with the Standard Model prediction, the di-photon rate is always suppressed and the suppression extent can be different for different models. The LHC will soon give a solid judgement whether the di-photon rate is larger than the SM prediction, which can be utilized as a sensitive probe for the three models. 相似文献

The new particles predicted by the topcolor-assisted technicolor (TC2) model and the littlest Higgs model with T-parity (called LHT model) can induce the lepton flavor violation (LFV) couplings at tree level or one loop level, which might generate large contributions to some LFV processes. Taking into account the constraints of the experimental data on the relevant free parameters, we calculate the branching ratios of the LFV decay processes τ ?→μ ? P 1 P 2 with P 1 P 2=π + π ?, K + K ? and $K^{0}\bar{K}^{0}$ in the context of these two kinds of new physics models. We find that the TC2 model and the LHT model can indeed produce significant contributions to some of these LFV decay processes. 相似文献

Higgs boson production in association with a photon(H+) offers a promising channel to test the Higgs boson to photon coupling at various energy scales. Its potential sensitivity to anomalous couplings of the Higgs boson has not been explored with the proton-proton collision data. In this paper, we reinterpret the latest ATLAS H+resonance search results within the Standard Model effective field theory(EFT) framework, using 36.1 fb~(-1) of protonproton collision data recorded with the ATLAS detector at s~(1/2) 13 TeV. Constraints on the Wilson coefficients of dimension-six EFT operators related to the Higgs boson to photon coupling are provided for the first time in the H+final state at the LHC. 相似文献

A search for the standard model Higgs boson is performed in the diphoton decay channel. The data used correspond to an integrated luminosity of 4.9 fb(-1) collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of √s=7 TeV. In the diphoton mass range 110-150 GeV, the largest excess with respect to the background-only hypothesis is observed at 126.5 GeV, with a local significance of 2.8 standard deviations. Taking the look-elsewhere effect into account in the range 110-150 GeV, this significance becomes 1.5 standard deviations. The standard model Higgs boson is excluded at 95% confidence level in the mass ranges of 113-115 GeV and 134.5-136 GeV. 相似文献

Single Production of Vector-Like Top Quark in the Littlest Higgs Model at TeV Energy e-γ Colliders 下载免费PDF全文
The existence of a new coloured vector-like heavy fermion T is a crucial prediction in little Higgs models, which play a key role in breaking the electroweak symmetry. The littlest Higgs model is the most economical one among various little Higgs models. In the context of the littlest Higgs model, we study single production of the new heavy vector-like quark and discuss the possibility of detecting this new particle in the future LC experiment. It is found thai, the production cross section is in the range of 1.7× 10^-3 - 30 fb at TeV energy electron-photon collider with √s- 3 TeV and a yearly integrated luminosity of ,£ = 500 fb^-1. 相似文献

In the framework of the SU(3) simple group model, we consider the single top quark production process e-→νebt. We find that the correction effects on the process mainly come from the terms of the tree-level Wqq′couplings. In the reasonable parameter space of the SU(3) simple group model, the deviation of the total production cross section σtot from its SM value is larger than 5%, which might be detected in the future high energy linear e+e- collider (LC) experiments. 相似文献

The scalar top discovery potential has been studied with a full-statistics background simulation for s = 500GeV and
= 500fb–1. The simulation is based on a fast and realistic simulation of a TESLA detector. The large simulated data sample allowed the application of an Iterative Discriminant Analysis (IDA) which led to a significantly higher sensitivity than in previous studies. The effects of beam polarization on signal efficiency and individual background channels are studied using separate optimization with the IDA for both polarization states. The beam polarization is very important to measure the scalar top mixing angle and to determine its mass. Simulating a 180 GeV scalar top at minimum production cross section, we obtain m = 1GeV and cos
= 0.009 in the neutralino decay channel, and m = 0.5 GeV and cos
= 0.004 in the chargino decay channel. 相似文献
