In this paper, a nonlinear impulsive state feedback control system is proposed to model an integrated pest management in food-limited environments. In the system, impulsive feedback control measures are implemented to control pests on the basis of the quantitative state of pests. Mathematically, an intuitive geometric analysis is used to indicate the existence of periodic solutions. The stability of periodic solutions is investigated by using Analogue of Poincar\''{e} Criterion. At last, numerical simulations are given to verify the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

A turbidostat is an apparatus with feedback control system used to continuously culturing microorganisms. The dilution rate of the turbidostat can be regulated by the control system when the concentration of microorganism, detected by photoelectricity system or other devices, reaches a preset value. Based on the design ideas of the turbidostat, a differential equation with impulsive state feedback control is proposed for a kind of turbidostat system in this paper. By the existence criteria of periodic solution of a general planar impulsive autonomous system, the conditions for the existence of periodic solution of order one are obtained according to the preset value and the types of the positive equilibrium of the corresponding system without impulsive control. Furthermore, it is pointed out that the system either tends to a stable state or has a periodic solution. Finally, the theoretical results are verified by numerical simulations.  相似文献

In this paper, a chemostat model with variable yield and impulsive state feedback control is considered. We obtain sufficient conditions of the globally asymptotical stability of the system without impulsive state feedback control. We also obtain that the system with impulsive state feedback control has periodic solution of order one. Sufficient conditions for existence and stability of periodic solution of order one are given. In some cases, it is possible that the system exists periodic solution of order two. Our results show that the control measure is effective and reliable.  相似文献

In this paper, a mathematical model with impulsive state feedback control is proposed for turbidostat system. The sufficient conditions of existence of positive order one periodic solution are obtained by using the existence criteria of periodic solution of a general planar impulsive autonomous system. It is shown that the system either tends to a stable state or has a periodic solution, which depends on the feedback state, the control parameter of the dilution rate and the initial concentration of microorganism and substrate. By investigating the periodic solution, the period and the initial point of the periodic solution are given. The results show that turbidostat with impulsive state feedback control tends to an order one periodic solution.  相似文献

In this paper, a mathematical model including the phytoplankton and zooplankton with the impulsive feedback control is presented. The sufficient conditions for the existence of the order-1 and order-2 periodic solutions are obtained by using the geometrical theory of semi-continuous dynamic system. The stability of the order-1 periodic solution is discussed by the analogue of the Poincaré criterion. Finally, our results are justified by the numerical simulations.  相似文献

According to biological strategy for pest control, we investigate the dynamic behavior of a pest management SEI model with saturation incidence concerning impulsive control strategy-periodic releasing infected pests at fixed times. We prove that all solutions of the system are uniformly ultimately bounded and there exists a globally asymptotically stable pest-eradication periodic solution when the impulsive period is less than some critical value. When the impulsive period is larger than some critical value, the stability of the pest-eradication periodic solution is lost; the system is uniformly permanent. Thus, we can use the stability of the positive periodic solution and its period to control insect pests at acceptably low levels. Numerical results show that the system we consider can take on various kinds of periodic fluctuations and several types of attractor coexistence and is dominated by period-doubling cascade, symmetry-breaking pitchfork bifurcation, quasi-periodic oscillate, chaos, and non-unique dynamics.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the pest control model with population dispersal in two patches and impulsive effect. By exploiting the Floquet theory of impulsive differential equation and small amplitude perturbation skills, we can obtain that the susceptible pest eradication periodic solution is globally asymptotically stable if the impulsive periodic τ is less than the critical value τ0 . Further, we also prove that the system is permanent when the impulsive periodic τ is larger than the critical value τ0. Hence, in order to drive the susceptible pest to extinction, we can take impulsive control strategy such that τ < τ0 according to the effect of the viruses on the environment and the cost of the releasing pest infected in a laboratory. Finally, numerical simulations validate the obtained theoretical results for the pest control model with population dispersal in two patches and impulsive effect.  相似文献

This paper studies impulsive control systems. Several stability criteria are established by employing the method of Lyapunov functions. These criteria may be used for impulsive feedback control design. As an application, impulsive control of the Lorenz chaotic system is discussed. Numerical experiments are carried out for the control of the Lorenz system. It is shown that small and frequent impulses need to be used in order to stabilize the Lorenz system.  相似文献

In the paper, we propose and analyze a mathematical model of the continuous ethanol fermentation process to study the mechanisms of the self-sustained oscillations of ethanol concentration. The model is based on the assumption that microorganism cells response to the inhibitory effect of product (ethanol) concentration with a delay. From the local stability analysis of the system, we show that the delay time is one of the crucial factors for the occurrence of oscillations and for a critical delay time the fermentation process undergoes a Hopf bifurcation. Further analysis shows that the operating variables and kinetic parameters have also a significant effect on the dynamical behavior of the fermentation system. A proper manipulation of the operating variables allow us to eliminate the oscillatory behavior.  相似文献

It is shown that, under suitable assumptions, the optimal control exists, is unique, and has a closedloop structure. Features of this problem are discussed from the viewpoint of the extension of the classical optimal control problem with the corresponding state constraints. This paper deals with the problem of robust H state feedback stabilization for uncertain switched linear systems with state delay. The system under consideration involves time delay in the state, parameter uncertainties and nonlinear uncertainties. The parameter uncertainties are norm-bounded time-varying uncertainties which enter all the state matrices. The nonlinear uncertainties meet with the linear growth condition. In addition, the impulsive behavior is introduced into the given switched system, which results a novel class of hybrid and switched systems called switched impulsive control systems. Using the switched Lyapunov function approach, some sufficient conditions are developed to ensure the globally robust asymptotic stability and robust H disturbance attenuation performance in terms of certain linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Not only the robustly stabilizing state feedback H controller and impulsive controller, but also the stabilizing switching law can be constructed by using the corresponding feasible solution to the LMIs. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithms is illustrated with an example.  相似文献

The dynamics of a predator–prey model with impulsive state feedback control, which is described by an autonomous system with impulses, is studied. The sufficient conditions of existence and stability of semi-trivial solution and positive period-1 solution are obtained by using the Poincaré map and analogue of the Poincaré criterion. The qualitative analysis shows that the positive period-1 solution bifurcates from the semi-trivial solution through a fold bifurcation. The bifurcation diagrams of periodic solutions are obtained by using the Poincaré map, and it is shown that a chaotic solution is generated via a cascade of period-doubling bifurcations.  相似文献

The servohydraulic equations describe the dynamic behaviour of a hydrostatic drive featuring a servo‐valve and a hydraulic cylinder. Under the assumptions of constant supply pressures, a rigid support of the cylinder, and a rigid mass attached to the piston, the evolution of cylinder pressures as well as piston position and velocity is governed by a 4th order non‐linear ordinary differential equation. The servo valve is assumed to be much faster than the dynamics of the mass‐cylinder system. Thus, the valve dynamics is neglected. Adding a feedback control law makes up the servohydraulic equations. These equations are partially singularly perturbed. The perturbation parameter is associated with fluid compressibility and the reduced system corresponds to the case of an incompressible fluid. This paper deals with the stability analysis of periodic orbits arising in the case of harmonic reference position trajectories. Geometric singular perturbation theory is used to generate stability charts. Numerical computations verify the analytical results. For a given set of hydraulic system parameters, the stability of periodic orbits depends on controller gains as well as on the amplitude and frequency of the reference signal.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a memory state feedback model predictive control (MPC) law for a discrete-time uncertain state delayed system with input constraints. The model uncertainty is assumed to be polytopic, and the delay is assumed to be unknown, but with a known upper bound. We derive a sufficient condition for cost monotonicity in terms of LMI, which can be easily solved by an efficient convex optimization algorithm. A delayed state dependent quadratic function with an estimated delay index is considered for incorporating MPC problem formulation. The MPC problem is formulated to minimize the upper bound of infinite horizon cost that satisfies the sufficient conditions. Therefore, a less conservative sufficient conditions in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) can be derived to design a more robust MPC algorithm. A numerical example is included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献
