The paper deals with the thermal properties of complex compounds of the general formula CuL2(NCX)2 (whereL=bipy or phen,X=S or Se). The phenanthroline complexes exhibit a higher thermal stability than those with bipyridine. For the latter complexes thermal decomposition begins with the release of bipyridine molecules, while for the phenanthroline complexes redox reactions of pseudohalogenide ligands with Cu(II) take place. The redox reactions start at a lower temperature for the selenocyanate complexes than for the thiocyanate complexes.
Zusammenfassung Vorliegende Arbeit behandelt die thermischen Eigenschaften von Komplexverbindungen der allgemeinen Formel CuL2(NCX)2 (mitL=Bipyridin oder Phenanthrolin undX=S oder Se). Die Phenanthrolinkomplexe zeigen eine grössere thermische Stabilität als die Bipyridinkomplexe. Die thermiscne Zersetzung letzterer beginnt mit der Abgabe von Bipyridinmolekülen, während bei den Phenanthrolinkomplexen Redoxreaktionen von Pseudohalogenidliganden·mit Cu(II) stattfinden. Diese Redoxreaktionen beginnen bei den Selenozyanatkomplexen bei niedrigeren Temperaturen als bei den Thiozyanatkomplexen.

In the framework of the Hückel MO approximation, the differences in total binding energy between a given molecule and the corresponding distorted Kekulé-type structure are calculated for a variety of benzenoid hydrocarbons. The total binding energy is assumed to be given by the sum of the -electron and -electron binding energies. It is shown that there is a good linear relationship between the calculated differences in total binding energy and the -electron delocalization energies (DE) as obtained by using the simple Hückel MO method. This provides a physical basis for the use of the -electron DE as a theoretical index to the empirical resonance energy (RE). Further, by examining the changes in -electron binding energy between a given molecule and the corresponding distorted Kekulé-type structure, it is concluded that in benzenoid hydrocarbons the main contributor to the RE is not the -electron DE but the compressional energy of bonds.  相似文献

The inner-core binding-energy shifts (BEs) of boron and carbon atoms in various chemical environments were studied by the semiempirical Self-Consistent Charge Molecular Orbital (SCC MO) method. The calculations are based on the initial ground state electrostatic potential model. The main feature of our approach is the empirical treatment of the coefficient relating BEs with the orbital populations of the host atom and the Madelung energy term. These adjustable parameters absorb a large portion of relaxation energy. The so obtained results are in good agreement with experimental data. They are better than earlier CNDO/2 results obtained by using either ground state or relaxation potential models. Present results indicate that semiempirical methods like SCC MO are able to account for changes in BE(1s) with a fair accuracy although the inner-shell electrons are not explicitly considered in the actual calculations.  相似文献

The effect of Fe2O3 additives on crotonaldehyde hydrogenation over group VIII metals has been studied. Iron oxide added to platinum black exerts a modifying effect on the reduction of the carbonyl group of croton-aldehyde inhibiting hydrogenation of the C=C bond conjugated with a C=O group.

Steady-state kinetics of combined heterogeneous catalytic hydrogenation and hydroformylation of propylene on Rh–Co-containing catalysts has been studied at atmospheric pressure and T=140–170 °C. A reaction mechanism is suggested. The kinetic model adequately describes all observations.

The effect of support content and composition of supported metal phase on the crystallite size, phase composition and catalytic properties of supported Ni and Cu–Ni catalysts has been investigated. It has been established that with increasing metal content, crystallite sizes and enantioselectivity increase. Copper added to Ni catalysts decreases metal phase dispersity and enantioselectivity.

Studies of water vapor adsorption on polycrystalline Rh at T>315 K and P=(2–4)×10–2 Pa indicate that water is adsorbed dissociatively to Oads and Oads through a molecularly adsorbed species. Desorption activation energy is 46 and 69 kJ/mol for molecular and dissociative species, respectively.

Thermal desorption spectra of oxygen desorbed from rhodium have been analyzed in terms of models accounting for the effect of lateral interactions between adsorbed particles and of their diffusion into the bulk of metal on the desorption kinetics of O2. Complex configuration of these spectra is ascribed to the processes of formation/decomposition of surface Rh oxides and the diffusion of particles into the near-surface layers of metal and back to the surface.

The conditions and premises of the kinetic evaluation of thermoanalytical curves on the basis of chemical kinetics are demonstrated, and the limits of their availability are pointed out. For reactions with an unclear structural and chemical course, some appropriate definitions of terms are proposed.The possibilities of the use of the inflection points of the reaction rate versus time curve are presented. New methods of determination of kinetic parameters are described, including the ratio of the degrees of reactionx, the ratio of the reaction ratesx and the ratio of the tangent slopesx at these points.
Zusammenfassung Bedingungen und Voraussetzungen der kinetischen Auswertung thermoanalytischer Meßkurven auf der Basis der chemischen Kinetik werden dargestellt, gleichzeitig wird auf die Grenzen ihrer Gültigkeit hingewiesen. Für Reaktionen mit unklarem chemischem oder strukturellem Ablauf werden geeignete neue Bezeichnungen definiert.Die Möglichkeit zur Verwendung der Wendepunkte der Kurve Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit gegen Zeit vorgestellt. Neue Methoden werden beschrieben, die zur Bestimmung kinetischer Parameter das Verhältnis der Umsätzex 1 x 2, das Verhältnis der Reaktionsgeschwindigkeitenx 1/x 2, und das Verhältnis der Tangentensteigungenx 1/x 2 an den Wendepunkten verwenden.

Hydrazobenzene cannot be oxidized to azobenzene with hydrogen peroxide in ethanol-containing medium. Vanadium(V) ions catalyze the oxidation; in their presence the reaction takes place rapidly. A thermometric (DIE) method was developed for the determination of hydrazobenzene, based on the oxidation reaction with hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by vanadium(V). The reaction is initiated by the addition of the solution of the catalyst, which is applied in small amount (100l). Thus, the application of the immersion pipette is not necessary. The standard deviation of the determination is ±0.42 mg hydrazobenzene in 50 ml ethanol.
Zusammenfassung Hydrazobenzol kann in Äthanolhaltigem Medium mit Wasserstoffperoxid nicht zu Azobenzol oxidiert werden. Vanadium(V)-ionen katalysierten die Oxidation, in ihrer Gegenwart vollzieht sich die Reaktion rasch. Der Autor entwickelt eine thermometrische (DIE) Methode zur Bestimmung von Hydrazobenzol, die auf der durch Vanadium(V)-katalysierten Oxidationsreaktion mit Wasserstoffperoxid beruht. Die Reaktion wird durch Zugabe der in kleinen Mengen (1001) angewandten Katalysatorlösung ausgelöst. Dadurch erübrigt sich der Einsatz von Immersionspipetten. Die Standardabweichung betrÄgt ± 0.42 mg Hydrazobenzol in 50 ml Äthanol.

Cette méthode repose sur la réaction d'oxydation par l'eau oxygénée en présence de vanadium(V) comme catalyseur. La réaction est initiée par addition de la solution du catalyseur utilisée en faible quantité (100l). Ainsi, l'emploi d'une pipette d'immersion n'est pas nécessaire. L'écart-type du dosage est ±0.42 mg d'hydrazobenzène dans 50 ml d'éthanol.

Supported Ni-Pd/SiO2 catalysts of different Ni and Pd composition were studied in n-butane hydrogenolysis. The reaction rate, selectivity towards methane, ethane and propane were determined. Pt/sol and Pt/support catalysts with 6–15 Å Pt particles have been established to be low active in the hydrogenation of propargyl alcohol, butyn-l-ol-3 and dimethylethynylcarbinol. The specific catalytic activity significantly rises with increasing dPt above 15 Å and after the thermal treatment of highly dispersed catalysts in a hydrogen flow.

Singlet triplet intersystem crossing quantum yields were determined for n-butyraldehyde, using the photosensitized cis-trans isomerization of piperylene to monitor the process. At room temperature and 313 nm, 0.58±0.05 and 0.72±0.05 were obtained for the triplet yield in the vapor phase and in isooctane, respectively.

A new method (based on DTA and TG) for the determination of the eutectic composition is proposed for systems in which one of the components is unstable in the vicinity of the eutectic melting temperature. The eutectic composition established by means of this method for the CaCO3-CaF2 system is in very good agreement with the results obtained in a classical way.
Zusammenfassung Eine neue Methode zur Bestimmung der eutektischen Zusammensetzung von Systemen, deren eine Komponente in der Nähe der eutektischen Temperatur instabil ist, beruht auf der simultanen TG-Messung. Mit der vorgeschlagenen Methode wird die eutektische Zusammensetzung des Systems CaF2-CaCO3 in sehr guter Übereinstimmung mit den Ergebnissen klassischer Untersuchungen gefunden.
