For functions u subharmonic in the unit ball B_N of , this paper compares the growth of the repartition function of their Riesz measure μ with the growth of u near the boundary of B_N. Cases under study are: and , with A, B, γ positive constants and if N=2 or if N≥ 3. This paper contains several integral results, as for instance: when ∫_BN u⁺(x)[-ω^′(|x|²)]dx < +∞ for some positive decreasing C¹ function ω, it is proved that .

Conformal Metrics on the Unit Ball in Euclidean Space

We study densities on the unit ball in euclidean space whichsatisfy a Harnack type inequality and a volume growth conditionfor the measure associated with . For these densities a geometrictheory can be developed which captures many features of thetheory of quasiconformal mappings. For example, we prove generalizationsof the Gehring-Hayman theorem, the radial limit theorem andfind analogues of compression and expansion phenomena on theboundary. 1991 Mathematics Subject Classification: 30C65.     

Points of Weak-Norm Continuity in the Unit Ball of Banach Spaces

Using the M-structure theory, we show that several classical function spaces and spaces of operators on them fail to have points of weak-norm continuity for the identity map on the unit ball. This gives a unified approach to several results in the literature that establish the failure of strong geometric structure in the unit ball of classical function spaces. Spaces covered by our result include the Bloch spaces, dual of the Bergman space L¹_a and spaces of operators on them, as well as the space C(T)/A, where A is the disc algebra on the unit circle T. For any unit vector f in an infinite-dimensional function algebra A we explicitly construct a sequence {f_n} in the unit ball of A that converges weakly to f but not in the norm.

本文主要研究了Cn单位球上Hilbert值Dμ,q函数的收敛性,得到了若f=∑α≥0xαzα∈Dμ,q,q＞(2n)/(μ),则φ(z)=∑α≥0‖xα‖zα∈Lipγ,其中0＜μ＜1(n=1)或0＜μ＜2(n＞1).此外还得到若f∈Dμ,q,q＞(2n)/(μ),则对几乎所有的{εα}有fω(z)∈H∞,其中0＜μ＜1(n=1)或0＜μ＜2(n＞1).在此过程中,我们利用了Banach空间几何学和Rademacher函数序列的知识.

Characteristic Functions for Multicontractions and Automorphisms of the Unit Ball

We obtain some results related to the characteristic function of a commuting multicontraction, most notably discussing its behaviour with respect to the action of the analytic automorphisms of the unit ball.

Little Hankel Operators on the Weighted Bergman Space of the Unit Ball

In this paper we mainly consider little Hankel operators with squareintegrable symbols on the weighted Bergman spaces of the unit ball.We obtain that Schatten class of little Hankel operators is equivalent to Schatten class of positive Toeplitz operators under the conditions that SMO（f） ∈ L p/2 （B n,dλ） and 2 ≤ p ∞,which is very important to research the relation between Toeplitz operators and little Hankel operators.     

Classification of Harmonic Functions in the Exterior of the Unit Ball

We solve the Laplace equation in an exterior infinite spherical domain with nonlinear (quadratic) boundary conditions on the spherical boundary. We linearize the problem and, under the additional assumption that the distinguishing function is spherically symmetric, write the solution by using the formal power series method with recursion of the series coefficients. Applying the Poincaré--Perron theorem, we describe the space of convergent formal power series and calculate its dimension. Estimating the roots of the fourth-degree characteristic polynomial corresponding to the given problem, we also calculate the dimension of the space of functions whose gradient at each point of the sphere is orthogonal to the linear combination of an axially symmetric dipole and a quadrupole. In conclusion, we state several unsolved problems arising in geophysical applications.     

On the Strong McShane Integral of Functions with Values in a Banach Space

The classical Bochner integral is compared with the McShane concept of integration based on Riemann type integral sums. It turns out that the Bochner integrable functions form a proper subclass of the set of functions which are McShane integrable provided the Banach space to which the values of functions belong is infinite-dimensional. The Bochner integrable functions are characterized by using gauge techniques. The situation is different in the case of finite-dimensional valued vector functions.

设B~n是n维复空间C~n中的单位球,φ=(φ_1,φ_2,…,φ_n)是B~n到自身的一个全纯映射.本文给出了单位球B~n上Bloch空间B(B~n)及小Bloch空间β_0(B~n)中的复合算子C_φ的本性范数的估计.作为它的应用,得到了β(B~n)和β_0(B~n)中的复合算子C_φ紧的充要条件.

We consider the question for what kind of square integrable holomorphic functions f,g on the unit ball the densely defined products TfTg-are invertible and Fredholm on the weighted Bergman space of the unit ball.We furthermore obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for bounded Haplitz products HfTg-,where f∈L2(Bn,dvα) and g is a square integrable holomorphic function.     

Schatten Class Hankel Operators on the Harmonic Bergman Space of the Unit Ball

We give a necessary and sufficient condition for Hankel operators H_f on the harmonic Bergman space of the unit ball to be in the Schatten p-class for 2 ≤ p < ∞. A special case when symbol f is a harmonic function is also considered.
