Because of the European and global regulation concerning acoustic emission, the goal of manufacturers is to substantially decrease the noise radiated by turbomachines, and in particular axial fans, without degrading their aerodynamic performances. High rotation speed and increasing power add to the overall difficulties. The theoretical study of this paper consists of two parts: (1) an aerodynamic approach based on the vortex surface method and (2) an aeroacoustic approach which mainly concerns the prediction of the tonal noise using the Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings (FW-H) equation. One of the main goals is the evaluation of the unsteady aerodynamic forces applied on the fan blades. A 2D software analysis, based on the vortex surface method (or potential flow method), was carried out. That process enabled evaluation of the potential flow around a mobile grid; first in a steady mode, and secondly in an unsteady mode by introducing an upstream disturbance in the form of an inlet velocity variation. The sources of noise corresponding to the zones with high force fluctuation amplitude are located initially on the blade surface. These fluctuating forces are used to predict the tonal noise radiated by the fan in far field by means of the FW-H equation. Two axial flow fans were used in this study. The theoretical results will be compared to the experimental ones in order to evaluate the aeroacoustic performances of the fans.  相似文献

The sound radiated when inflow turbulence is present in axial flow fans has been investigated. Theoretically, two noise radiating mechanisms can be identified: (i) interaction of turbulence with the rotor potential field results in a quadrupole-type volume source distribution, producing “flow-interaction” noise; (ii) impingement of turbulence on the blades results in a dipole-type (fluctuating force) surface source distribution, producing “fluctuating lift” noise. A theoretical expression for the flow interaction sound power in the upstream radiation field has been developed, in terms of parameters that can be experimentally determined by near field flow measurements involving spatial cross-correlations of the fluctuating axial velocity, with respect to both radial and circumferential position. Both these measurements and radiated sound pressure measurements have been made for eight- and ten-bladed rotors of relatively low tip Mach number (< 0·3). The sound pressure measurements revealed the occurrence of band-spreading of discrete tones at the blade passing frequency and its harmonics, as would be theoretically predicted for quadrupole-type sources here. The theoretical predictions and the measurements, respectively, of the sound power radiated upstream were compared. The results indicated that, for the fans tested, the “fluctuating lift” noise strongly predominated over the “flow-interaction” noise. The observed sound power levels were consistent with levels estimated from the theory.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the reduction of noise from automotive cooling systems. A comparison is made between the use of axial flow and centrifugal fans and formulae presented for obtaining the octave sound power for each type of fan. The disadvantages of centrifugal fan installations are highlighted and axial fan design configurations are examined with the object of providing optimized systems. Experimental results are presented for different axial fans and comparisons made of the noise measurements with the ingested flow distortions measured by means of a hot wire anemometer. The results indicate the limits of maximum noise reduction which manufacturers may expect using existing fan designs and also indicates the methods for achieving maximum noise reduction for these configurations.  相似文献

Rotor spectra from a variety of axial flow machines have been compared and acoustic trends examined. Types of rotor considered in the investigation included aircraft propellers, helicopter rotors, jet engine compressor and by-pass fans and a range of domestic, automotive and industrial cooling fans. Rotor sizes varied from 15 in to 60 ft in diameter and tip speeds from 200 ft/s to transonic speeds.The study showed that the acoustic output from these various rotor devices can be described by a common characteristic spectrum. In particular, the minimum broad band noise generated by ducted and free field rotors corresponds to laminar and turbulent boundary layer shedding, and discrete excess noise is generated by various degrees of impulsive blade loading. Finally the study showed that aerodynamic details can be interpreted from the acoustic spectra, and as a result, new insight into the mechanisms of rotor noise has been formed.  相似文献

本文介绍了变工况下,两台具有相同几何参数(动叶弦长除外)的轴流试验风机进行的气动一声学性能的实验研究。一台动叶是常规(径向)动叶,另一台是弯掠动叶(其弦长在中往处增加20.4%。实验表明:在相同转速条件下,弯掠动叶轴流风机与径向动叶风机相比,不仅提高了气动效率(3%左右),降低了气动噪声(2~4dB(A)(在最高效率点处,弯掠动叶与径向动叶相比压升增加了13.1%,流量增加了5%),而且还大幅度地扩大了稳定工作范围(20%左右)。弯掠动叶在旋转失速工况下性能曲线平坦,并且其旋转失速特征参数明显不同于径向动叶。弯掠动叶的总声压级和噪声频谱也表明了弯掠动叶具有低噪声的特点。  相似文献

A controlled experimental study of the noise emission of a typical model of computer cooling fan, under different operating conditions, was done. The sound-power levels and directivities of 80-mm-diameter Panaflo computer fans mounted in a test plenum were determined from measurements of sound-pressure level over a hemi-spherical surface above a reflecting plane. The design and testing of the test plenum is discussed. Results of tests performed on one fan unit to gain an understanding of the fan’s noise-radiation characteristics and how they vary with operating conditions are presented. The results show that the noise emission of the Panaflo fan is directly related to the voltage and inversely related to the air-flow rate. It was found that the noise level measured at one particular position corresponds well to the average of those measured at 10 points on the hemisphere. The variability of the noise radiation from these Panaflo fans was determined by testing three other fans; variations of resulting total A-weighted power levels were within 1 dB.  相似文献

This paper presents the results of experimental studies of the noise of a residential split-system air-conditioner unit. The compressor and condenser and associated fans were removed from the unit and did not form part of the studies. Care was taken with the unit to separate the inlet and exhaust noise from the noise radiated from the cabinet. The measurements were made with a two-microphone sound intensity probe and these resulted in sound power level data. The sound power levels produced by radiation from the inlet, exhaust and cabinet were obtained for five different volume flow rates. The effect on the sound power generated by removing the coil was investigated. Measurements and subjective studies show that the low frequency sound is predominantly radiated from the exhaust and inlet. At high frequency, the cabinet noise dominates.  相似文献

水流流经腔体时引起的自激振荡会形成流激噪声,该文通过仿真和实验研究了水下流激孔腔噪声的主动声场控制。应用有源前馈控制方法,对比了参考信号的选取以及控制器中增加的泄露因子对控制结果的影响,并在水循环管路中对流激孔腔噪声前馈控制效果进行了实验验证。研究结果表明,前馈有源噪声控制方法可有效抑制水下流激孔腔噪声,在误差点和辅助观测点都取得了良好的降噪效果,最大降噪量大于8 dB,并且使用腔内信号作为参考的控制效果优于上游信号作为参考。  相似文献

针对传统拖线阵流噪声理论的局限性, 建立了完善的矢量拖线阵流噪声理论分析方法, 可全面准确地揭示矢量拖线阵流噪声响应特性. 基于细长圆柱的湍流边界层压力起伏Carpenter模型, 采用波数-频率谱分析方法对矢量拖线阵流噪声响应特性进行了理论研究, 导出了圆柱形矢量水听器流噪声响应的声压和振速自功率谱及其互功率谱的解析表达式, 定量分析了流噪声响应功率谱与拖曳速度、水听器尺寸、套管尺寸和材料等参数之间变化规律; 另外, 还讨论了圆柱形矢量水听器偏离护套轴线时矢量拖线阵流噪声响应, 导出了流噪声响应的声压、径向和轴向振速自功率谱及其互功率谱的解析表达式, 数值计算结果表明: 轴线偏移距离对声压和轴向振速的高频噪声的影响要大于对低频噪声的影响, 而对径向振速的全频段噪声都有明显影响, 且对振速分量影响要远大于对声压影响.  相似文献

Noise and noise propagation are inevitable and play a constructive role in various biological processes. The stability of cell homeostasis is also a critical issue. In the unidirectional transition cascade of colon cells, stem cells (SCs) are the source. They differentiate into transit-amplifying cells (TACs), and TACs differentiate into fully differentiated cells (FDCs). Two differentiation processes are irreversible. The stability factor is introduced so that the noise propagation mechanism from the perspective of stability is studied according to the noise propagation formulas. It is found that the value of the stability factor corresponding to the minimum noise in FDCs may be the best choice to enable colon cells to maintain high stability and low noise of the cascade. Moreover, for the source cell, the total noise only includes intrinsic noise; for the downstream cell with self-proliferation capability, the total noise mainly depends on its intrinsic noise and transmitted noise from upstream cells, and its intrinsic noise is dominant. For the downstream cell without self-proliferation capability, the total noise is mainly determined by transmitted noises from upstream cells, and there is a minimum value. This work provides a new approach for studying the mechanism of noise propagation while considering the stability of cell homeostasis in biological systems.  相似文献

本文基于CFD模拟方法,分析了空调器室外机上下并联轴流风机系统噪声源分布,建立了室外机气动声学预测方法.研究发现,上下并联轴流风机系统由宽频和离散频率噪声组成,宽频噪声是影响室外机噪声总声压级的重要因素.涡声分析表明,涡脱落噪声是宽频噪声的主要影响因素.基于CFD的叶片尾缘涡脱落噪声预测方法计算得到宽频声压误差为2 dB,考虑离散频率影响时,室外机A计权总声压级预测误差小于2 dBA.基于CFD的点源时域预测模型,捕捉到了上下并联轴流风机系统的离散频率噪声峰值,且在上下叶轮前二阶谐波处预测值与实验值吻合较好.  相似文献

The influence of multiplicative external fluctuations (noise) on the phenomenological equation describing the Fréedericksz transition has been studied by means of an electronic analogue simulator. Measurements were made of the stationary probability density for a wide range of fluctuation intensities and correlation times, for both dichotomous and Gaussianly distributed noise. For dichotomous forcing, the resultant phase diagrams at particular values of the field intensity parameter were found to be in satisfactory agreement with exact theoretical predictions by Horsthemkeet al. In the (physically more realistic) case of Gaussian fluctuations, for which no theory is currently available, the results obtained were distinctively different. A physically motivated discussion is given to account for the interesting differences and similarities of behavior found for the two types of external noise.  相似文献

采用Navier-Stokes方程和标准k-ε湍流模型,对五种不同结构的弯掠轴流风机A/B/C/D/E进行稳态数值模拟,结合给定的性能要求筛选出B/E风机。以稳态流场为基础,采用大涡模拟(LES)与基于Lighthill声类比的FW-H模型相结合的方法对B/E风机进行非定常计算和气动噪声预测,并将预测结果与试验数据进行了对比验证。分析了以叶轮表面作为噪声源时B/E风机的涡流噪声频谱特性,研究了风机三维非定常内部流场中旋涡分布特性,并探讨了风机旋转区域内部声压级的分布规律。  相似文献

飞机机体表面的开孔设计会形成空腔结构,产生空腔流致噪声。空腔噪声的控制需要彻底认识其流动和噪声机理。以飞机的功能性开孔为例,通过半经验公式分析了其空腔噪声频率随速度的变化规律,预测了出现流声共振的工况。空腔发生流声共振时,特定频率的纯音噪声会被放大。为此,采用脱体涡模拟方法开展了开孔结构流声共振的三维非定常数值计算,分析了其流场和声场特性。其中,数值方法的准确性通过圆形空腔标模计算进行验证。结果表明,在一定速度下剪切层内的扰动将诱发空腔深度方向声模态,出现流声共振现象。此时,剪切层表现为强烈的周期性上下拍动,空腔底部和后缘区域的局部压力脉动幅值较大,声波主要由空腔后缘向上游方向辐射,上游噪声大于下游。  相似文献

1引言轴流风机的气动噪声基本可分为紊流噪声及离散噪声。在中、低压头范围,尤其是单转子风机情况下,离散噪声经过管道声阻抗的衰减作用,在远离风机声场中可降到很低水平,此时紊流噪声成为主要成分。紊流噪声可有多种声源[1],包括来流攻角引起升力变动相应的紊流噪声,叶片表面紊流边界层直接幅射的素流噪声,边界层分离的噪声,及叶片尾涡引起升力变化诱发的噪声。这些噪声都具有宽频带的特性。在来流无冲击进口,无边界层分离的正常运行条件下,从边界层中小尺寸旋涡直接幅射的声能是不大的。对有限叶片弦长,因叶片两表面大尺寸…  相似文献

本文采用LES/FW-H的匹配方法,研究了开式轴流风扇内部旋涡流动特征及其与叶片表面干涉引起的气动噪声之间的联系,同时进行了远场噪声预测,探讨了叶轮不同表面辐射噪声时的频谱分布特征.研究结果表明,开式轴流风扇吸力面附近形成的叶尖涡和前缘分离涡在吸力面叶片表面相应位置形成大压力波动,形成主要噪声源;叶片吸力面的辐射噪声可以通过改善吸力面附近的旋涡流动来降低;低速轴流叶轮由叶轮壁面辐射的噪声以宽频成分为主.  相似文献

在用CCD相机进行目标探测时,多数情况下目标的背景具有一定的照度,这个照度会对探测结果产生影响。为了了解背景对探测结果的影响,通过建立CCD相机三维噪声模型及其测试系统,在不同光照条件下对CCD相机的时间噪声和空间噪声进行了测量与分析。给出了测试系统的结构框图和部分测试结果,得到了对CCD输出质量产生主要影响的噪声以及时间噪声和空间噪声随光照度变化的规律。测试结果表明:随着CCD相机光敏面光照度的提高,空间噪声和时间噪声均升高,符合CCD相机的实际性能。  相似文献
