Using high-dimensional quantum error-avoiding code, we present two new quantum key distribution protocols over a collective noisy channel, i.e. six-photon and five-photon quantum error-avoiding codes. Compared with the previous protocols using four-photon and three-photon quantum error-avoiding code, the qubit efficiencies of the new protocols have increases of 16.67% and 5% respectively. In addition, the security of these protocols is analysed with a conclusion that the new protocols are much more secure than the four-photon and three-photon ones.  相似文献

Based on the idea of dense coding of three-photon entangled state and qubit transmission in blocks, we present a multiparty controlled quantum secret direct communication scheme by using Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state. In the present scheme, the sender transmits three bits of secret message to the receiver directly and the secret message can only be recovered by the receiver under the permission of all the controllers. All three-photon entangled states are used to transmit the secret message except those chosen for eavesdropping check and the present scheme has a high source capacity because Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state forms a large Hilbert space.  相似文献

We propose a protocol for teleportation of arbitrary mixture of diagonal Bell states, it is shown that the channel can be constructed with either pure maximally entangled states or mixed bound entangled states. We also present protocols to realize the controlled teleportation of mixture of diagonal Bell states via multi-particle mixed states. Our results show that bound entangled states are also important and useful resources in quantum communication tasks.  相似文献

We study the entanglement dynamics of two atoms with initial tripartite entangled W-like state in the Tavis-Cummings model. We find that the entanglement evolvement is sensitive not only to the entanglement degree of the initial state but also to the concrete form of the initial state. The so-called sudden death effect occurs only for some initial states.  相似文献

We show that non-maximally entangled states can be used to build a quantum key distribution (QKD) scheme where the key is probabilistically teleported from Alice to Bob. This probabilistic aspect of the protocol ensures the security of the key without the need of non-orthogonal states to encode it, in contrast to other QKD schemes. Also, the security and key transmission rate of the present protocol is nearly equivalent to those of standard QKD schemes and these aspects can be controlled by properly harnessing the new free parameter in the present proposal, namely, the degree of partial entanglement. Furthermore, we discuss how to build a controlled QKD scheme, also based on partially entangled states, where a third party can decide whether or not Alice and Bob are allowed to share a key.  相似文献

We propose a quantum teleportation scheme for tripartite entangled coherent state (ECS) with continuous variable. Our scheme is feasible and economical in the sense that we need only linear optical devices such as beam splitters, phase shifters and photon detectors and employ three bipartite maximally ECSs as quantum channels. We also generalize the tripartite scheme into multipartite ease and calculate the minimum average fidelity for the schemes in tripartite and multipartite cases.  相似文献

We numerically demonstrate that 'mode-entangled states' based on the transverse modes of classical optical fields in multimode waveguides violate Bell's inequality. Numerically simulating the correlation measurement scheme of Bell's inequality, we obtain the normalized correlation functions of the intensity fluctuations for the two entangled classical fields. By using the correlation functions, the maximum violations of Bell's inequality are obtained. This implies that the two classical fields in the mode-entangled states, although spatially separated, present a nonlocal correlation.  相似文献

A simple scheme is presented for generating four-photon Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states with a large detuned interaction between a three-level atom and two bimodal cavities. In the proposed protocol, the quantum information is encoded on Fock states of the cavity-fields, and the atomic spontaneous emission can be effectively suppressed due to the fact that the excited state of the atom is adiabatically eliminated under the large detuning condition. The detection of the atom can collapse the cavity to the desired state. The experimental feasibility of our proposal is also discussed.  相似文献

We give a protocol to prepare special partially entangled multi-atom W states. Besides, a scheme for deterministic and multi-controlled teleportation of an arbitrary unknown two-level two-atom state via partially entangled W states is proposed.  相似文献

We propose a simple experimental scheme to prepare a type of four-photon entangled state |χ〉 that has many interesting entanglement properties and possible applications in quantum information processing with a certain success probability. The proposed setup involves only simple linear optical devices, a single-photon polarization state, three pairs of two-photon polarization entangled states, and the conventional photon detectors that cannot distinguish a single photon from two or more photons, which greatly simplify the experimental realization of the scheme.  相似文献

We present a generalized telecloning (GTC) protocol where the quantum channel is non-optimally entangled and we study how the fidelity of the telecloned states depends on the entanglement of the channel. We show that one can increase the fidelity of the telecloned states, achieving the optimal value in some situations, by properly choosing the measurement basis at Alice's, albeit turning the protocol to a probabilistic one. We also show how one can convert the GTC protocol to the teleportation protocol via proper unitary operations.  相似文献

We present the generation of six-particle Greenberger Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states via deterministic entanglement concentration and generalize the scheme to the case of 2N particles. We show that arbitrary 2N-particle GHZ states can be obtained with certain probability via entanglement concentration. This may provide a new perspective for the preparation of multi-particle GHZ states. This study is also an exploration on the theory of deterministic entanglement concentration.  相似文献

Given two two-qubit pure states characterized by their Schmidt numbers we investigate an optimal strategy to convert the states between themselves with respect to their local unitary invariance. We discuss the efficiency of this transformation and its connection to LOCC convertibility properties between two single-copy quantum states. As an illustration of the investigated transformations we present a communication protocol where in spite of all expectations a shared maximally entangled pair between two participants is the worst quantum resource.  相似文献

We propose a multiparty quantum cryptographic protocol. Unitary operators applied by Bob and Charlie, on their respective qubits of a tripartite entangled state encoding a classical symbol that can be decoded at Alice's end with the help of a decoding matrix. Eve's presence can be detected by the disturbance of the decoding matrix. Our protocol is secure against intercept resend attacks. Furthermore, it is eifficient and deterministic in the sense that two classical bits can be transferred per entangled pair of qubits. It is worth mentioning that in this protocol, the same symbol can be used for key distribution and Eve's detection that enhances the etfficiency of the protocol.  相似文献

With the ancillary one-sided cavities each trapping an alkali atom, the schemes for the analyzers of two-photon Bell states and three-photon Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states are proposed, respectively. Moreover, all of two-photon Bell states and three-photon GHZ states can be nondestructively distinguished. The influence of atomic spontaneous emission and output coupling inefficiency are discussed.  相似文献

Based on the controlled order rearrange encryption (CORE) for quantum key distribution using EPR pairs [Fu.G. Deng, G.L. Long, Phys. Rev. A 68 (2003) 042315], we propose a generalized controlled order rearrangement encryption (GCORE) protocol using non-maximally entangled W-class states with probability, but it also has full efficiency and we compare the similarity and difference with original protocol. Besides, we use this W-class state to split quantum information, thus the scheme is robust against decoherence.  相似文献

We experimentally realize a kind of entanglement transformations of bipartite pure states with 100% efficiency. The protocol employs two-outcome positive operator-valued measures (POVMs) and can transform two-photon maximally entangled state to any two-photon entangled pure state with 100% efficiency. The average fidelity of all output states is 96%. Moreover, the scheme to implement arbitrary POVM on single-photon polarization state is also discussed. In principle, our setup can be applied to any kind of entanglement transformations of two-qubit entangled states to achieve optimal successful probability.  相似文献

Dense coding of multi-atom entangled states in cavity QED is studied. If the quantum channel is generalized GHZ states, dense coding can be directly realized in a simply way. As for the partially entangled pure states, we propose a feasible protocol for entanglement concentration, and the emciency of information transmitted is calculated. The schemes are insensitive to the cavity decay and the field state, due to the fact that the interaction here is a large-detuned one between atoms and the cavity.  相似文献

We present a model to realise a probabilistic quantum teleportation of two-particle mode entangled state through the four-photon quantum channel. Four modes of the two-photon mode entangled state are directly transferred to other spatial four modes of the quantum channel with success probability of 50%. The quantum protocol operates in space of photon number states. A Bell state measurement with four beam splitters and four pairs of detectors in the teleportation protocol is accomplished in the fourfold coincidence basis.  相似文献

We describe a protocol for generation of remote multi-photon entanglement using Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) photon pairs via entanglement swapping. According to the requests of users, Quantum Switch (QS) can prepare three-photon W entangled states or Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states based on independent, spatially separated EPR pairs among three distant users. Only Bell states measurement (BSM) is needed utilizing a CPHASE gate and PAs. This protocol can also generate remote N-photon GHZ entangled states.  相似文献
