3D macroporous TiO2 inverse opals have been derived from a sol‐gel procedure using polystyrene colloidal crystals as templates. EDS and SEM showed a face‐centered cubic (FCC) structure TiO2 inverse opal was obtained. Glucose oxidase (GOx) was successfully immobilized on the surface of indium‐tin oxide (ITO) electrode modified by TiO2 inverse opal (TiO2(IO)). Electrochemical properties of GOx/TiO2(IO)/ITO electrode were characterized by using the three electrodes system. The result of cyclic voltammetry showed that a couple of stable and well‐defined redox peaks for the direct electron transfer of GOx in absence of glucose, and the redox peak height enhanced in presence of 0.1 μM glucose. Compare with the ordinary structured GOx/TiO2/ITO electrode, inverse opal structured GOx/TiO2(IO)/ITO electrode has a better respond to the glucose concentration change. Under optimized experimental conditions of solution pH 6.8 and detection potential at 0.30 V versus saturated calomel electrode (SCE), amperometric measurements were performed. The sensitivity and the detection limit of glucose detection was 151 μA cm?2 mM?1 and 0.02 μM at a signal‐to‐noise ratio of 3, respectively. The good response was due to the good biocompatibility of TiO2 and the large effective surface of the three‐dimensionally ordered macroporous structure.  相似文献

A novel ferrocene-functionalized reduced graphene oxide (rGO)-based electrode is proposed. It was fabricated by the drop casting of ferrocene-functionalized graphene onto polyester substrate as the working electrode integrated within screen-printed reference and counter electrodes. The ferrocene-functionalized rGO has been fully characterized using FTIR, XPS, contact angle measurements, SEM and TEM microscopy, and cyclic voltammetry. The XPS and EDX analysis showed the presence of Fe element related to the introduced ferrocene groups, which is confirmed by a clear CV signal at ca. 0.25 V vs. Ag/AgCl (0.1 KCl). Mediated redox catalysis of H2O2 and bio-functionalization with glucose oxidase for glucose detection were achieved by the bioelectrode providing a proof for potential biosensing applications.  相似文献

In this study, we describe the effects of incorporating single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) into redox polymer-enzyme hydrogels. The hydrogels were constructed by combining the enzyme glucose oxidase with a redox polymer (Fc-C(6)-LPEI) in which ferrocene was attached to linear poly(ethylenimine) by a six-carbon spacer. Incorporation of SWNTs into these films changed their morphology and resulted in a significant increase in the enzymatic response at saturating glucose concentrations (3 mA/cm(2)) as compared to films without SWNTs (0.6 mA/cm(2)). Likewise, the sensitivity at 5 mM glucose was significantly increased in the presence of SWNTs (74 μA/cm(2)·mM) as compared to control films (26 μA/cm(2)·mM). We demonstrate that the increase in the electrochemical and enzymatic response of these films depends on the amount of SWNTs incorporated and the method of SWNT incorporation. Furthermore, we report that the presence of SWNTs in thick films allows for more of the ferrocene redox centers to become accessible. The high current densities of the hydrogels should allow for the construction of miniature biosensors and enzymatic biofuel cells.  相似文献

The nitrogen doped carbon (NDCN) have been synthesized by flame synthetic method to prepare ferrocene decorated NDCN. The hydrolysis product (FC-SH) of ferrocene benzyne derivative (FC-SAc) was immobilized onto NDCN modified GCE and used for glucose detection with high sensitivity. Cyclic voltammetric analysis reveal that FC-S-NDCN/GCE exhibit excellent activity for glucose oxidation when compared to FC/GCE. The FC-S-NDCN/GCE with wide linear responses range from 0.001 to 0.01 mM with the regression co-efficient of 0.998. The FC-S-NDCN/GCE show low detection limit (LOD) of 0.08 μM and exhibit sensitivity of 1580 μA mM−1 cm−2. The FC-S-NDCN glucose sensor exhibit wide linear range, high sensitivity and lower detection limit on determination of glucose.  相似文献

At present, a highly sensitive hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) sensor is fabricated by ferrocene based naphthaquinone derivatives as 2,3‐Diferrocenyl‐1,4‐naphthoquinone and 2‐bromo‐3‐ferrocenyl‐1,4‐naphthoquinone. These ferrocene based naphthaquinone derivatives are characterized by H‐NMR and C‐NMR. The electrochemical properties of these ferrocene based naphthaquinone are investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) on modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The modified electrode with ferrocene based naphthaquinone derivatives exhibits an improved voltammetric response to the H2O2 redox reaction. 2‐bromo‐3‐ferrocenyl‐1,4‐naphthoquinone show excellent non‐enzymatic sensing ability towards H2O2 response with a detection limitation of 2.7 μmol/L a wide detection range from 10 μM to 400 μM in H2O2 detection. The sensor also exhibits short response time (1 s) and good sensitivity of 71.4 μA mM?1 cm?2 and stability. Furthermore, the DPV method exhibited very high sensitivity (18999 μA mM?1 cm?2) and low detection limit (0.66 μM) compared to the CA method. Ferrocene based naphthaquinone derivative based sensors have a lower cost and high stability. Thus, this novel non‐enzyme sensor has potential application in H2O2 detection.  相似文献

The redox mediator Meldola blue (MB) was entrapped into two polymers, poly‐1,2‐diaminobenzene (p‐DAB) and poly‐3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene (p‐EDOT) by potential cycling and films were applied to NADH oxidation with subsequent glutamate detection using immobilized glutamate dehydrogenase. Both polymer films were tested for electrocatalysis of NADH using amperometry at Eapp=0.1 V vs. Ag/AgCl and similar response characteristics were obtained with sensitivity values of 6.1 nA μM?1, linear range up to 0.5 mM (R2=0.9972) and LOD of 50 μM. Subsequent amperometric determination of glutamate resulted in sensitivity 0.7 nA μM?1, linearity 0–100 μM and detection limit of 2 μM glutamate.  相似文献

Highly ordered macroporous electrodes are prepared by electro-deposition of gold through a polystyrene sphere template. Drop-coating redox polymer and either glucose oxidase, for the anode, or Melanocarpus albomyces laccase, for the cathode on the macroporous gold provides film-coated electrodes for assembly of membrane-less glucose/oxygen enzymatic fuel cells (EFC) in pH 7.4 buffer containing 10 mM glucose and 0.15 M NaCl. Under these conditions the maximum power density of 17 μW cm(-2) for EFCs using films adsorbed to planar gold electrodes increased to 38 μW cm(-2) for films adsorbed to 2? sphere gold macroporous electrodes.  相似文献

A type of novel electroanalytical sensing nanobiocomposite material was prepared by electropolymerization of pyrrole containing poly(amidoamine) dendrimers‐encapsulated platinum nanoparticles (Pt‐PAMAM), and glucose oxidase (GOx). The Pt nanoparticles encapsulated in PAMAM are nearly monodisperse with an average diameter of 3 nm, and they provide electrical conductivity. Polypyrrole acts as a polymer backbone to give stable and homogeneous cast thin films, and it also defines the electrical conductivity. Both Polypyrrole and PAMAM can provide a favorable microenvironment to keep the bioactivity of enzymes such as glucose oxidase. The homogeneity of GOx/Pt‐PAMAM‐PPy nanobiocomposite films was characterized by atomic force microscopy (AFM). Amperometric biosensors fabricated with these materials were characterized electrochemically using cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) and amperometric measurements in the presence of hydrogen peroxide or glucose. All those show the resultant biosensor sensitivity was strongly enhanced within the nanobiocomposite film. The optimized glucose biosensor displayed a sensitivity of 164 μA mM?1 cm?1, a linear range of 0.2 to 600 μM, a detection limit of 10 nM, and a response time of <3 s.  相似文献

Here we report the first mediated pain free microneedle‐based biosensor array for the continuous and simultaneous monitoring of lactate and glucose in artificial interstitial fluid (ISF). The gold surface of the microneedles has been modified by electrodeposition of Au‐multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and successively by electropolymerization of the redox mediator, methylene blue (MB). Functionalization of the Au‐MWCNTs/polyMB platform with the lactate oxidase (LOX) enzyme (working electrode 1) and with the FAD‐Glucose dehydrogenase (FADGDH) enzyme (working electrode 2) enabled the continuous monitoring of lactate and glucose in the artificial ISF. The lactate biosensor exhibited a high sensitivity (797.4±38.1 μA cm?2 mM?1), a good linear range (10–100 μM) with a detection limit of 3 μM. The performance of the glucose biosensor were also good with a sensitivity of 405.2±24.1 μA cm?2 mM?1, a linear range between 0.05 and 5 mM and a detection limit of 7 μM. The biosensor array was tested to detect the amount of lactate generated after 100 minutes of cycling exercise (12 mM) and of glucose after a normal meal for a healthy patient (10 mM). The results reveal that the new microneedles‐based biosensor array seems to be a promising tool for the development of real‐time wearable devices with a variety of sport medicine and clinical care applications.  相似文献

Amperometric biosensors based on the corresponding oxidase enzyme with poly(neutral red) redox mediator have been developed for the determination of glucose and pyruvate. The enzymes have been immobilized on top of poly(neutral red) modified carbon film electrodes with glutaraldehyde as the cross‐linking agent. The biosensors were characterized by cyclic voltammetry and by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The glucose biosensor exhibited a linear response in the range 90 μM to 1.8 mM with a detection limit of 22 μM and the pyruvate biosensor in the range 90 to 600 μM with a detection limit of 34 μM. The relative standard deviations were found to be 2.1% (n=3) and 2.8% (n=4) respectively. The interference effects of various compounds were also studied. The glucose content of several types of wine and the amount of pyruvate in onion and garlic were determined and the results were compared with those obtained by standard spectrophotometric methods.  相似文献

Bimetallic CuCo composites are prepared by calcinating copper hexacyanocobaltate precursor in N2 atmosphere. The CuCo modified electrodes are fabricated for nonenzymatic glucose sensing in the alkaline electrolyte. The glucose can be directly electro-oxidized on the surface of the electrode catalyst mediated by the redox couples of Cu and Co. The optimal glucose sensor exhibits a high sensitivity (567 μA ⋅ mM−1 ⋅ cm−2) in the range up to 825 μM with a detection limit of 3 μM and acceptable selectivity. The sensor can also be applied in serum samples. This work provides a facile and easily-scalable synthesis method of electrocatalysts for nonenzymatic glucose sensors.  相似文献

Mixed-ligand monolayer-protected gold nanoclusters (MPCs) with crown ether (CE) and carboxylate functionalities were synthesized and used as components of layer-by-layer (LBL) electrostatic assemblies on gold and indium tin oxide (ITO) electrodes. The purpose of using MPCs was to provide a supramolecular anchor for a functionality, CEs, of interest to sensor and solid-phase extraction design; the carboxylate provided the charged sites needed for electrostatic assembly. With 15-crown-5 as the CE, the capture of 2.8×10-10 mol PbII cm-2 per monolayer of MPC was demonstrated by voltammetry and by electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance measurements. The diffusion of ferrocene through these LBL assemblies was investigated. The presence of MPCs and/or generation-4 poly(amidoamine) dendrimers allowed facile transport of ferrocene to the underlying electrode, presumably because these supramolecular assemblies provided a quasi-porous structure.  相似文献

The carbon cavity microelectrode (CME), exhibiting a volume of 4×10?6 cm3, offers a genuine alternative for immobilizing and connecting enzymes in aqueous electrolytes by powder of insoluble redox materials. In the present work, the electrochemical behavior of two redox species such as ferrocene (Fc) and tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) was investigated with CME to evaluate their potentialities in the electrical wiring of enzymes. For this purpose, powder of two enzymes, glucose oxidase (GOx) and horseradish peroxidase (HRP), was independently mixed with an insoluble redox material and forced to fill the single micro cavity of a carbon electrode covered by an inert insulator. The presence of the electroactive species, as well as the enzyme wiring was investigated by cyclic voltammetry. The amperometric detection of glucose was carried out by potentiostating the TTF/GOx and the Fc/GOx microelectrodes at 0.25 and 0.35 V respectively. The amperometric detection of H2O2 by the TTF/HRP microelectrode was performed at ?0.1 V vs. SCE.  相似文献

The integration of a separation capillary for capillary electrophoresis (CE) with an on‐column enzyme reaction for selective determination of the enzyme substrate is described. Enzyme immobilization is achieved by electrostatic assembly of poly(diallydimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA) followed by adsorption of a mixture of the negatively charged enzyme glucose oxidase (GOx) and anionic poly(styrenesulfonate) (PSS). The reaction of glucose with the GOx produces hydrogen peroxide which migrates the length of the capillary and is detected amperometrically at the capillary outlet. The enzyme reaction occurs during a capillary separation, allowing selective determination of the substrate in complex samples without the need for pre‐ or post‐separation chemical modification of the analyte. The enzyme reactor is found to have an optimal response to glucose when a 5 : 1 mixture of PSS:GOx is used. Under these conditions the limit of detection for glucose is found to be between 5.0×10?4 and 1.3×10?3 M, dependent upon the inner‐diameter of the capillary. The apparent Michaelis‐Menten constant for the enzyme reaction was determined to be 0.047 (±0.001) M and 0.0037 (±0.0007) M for a 50 and 10 μm inner‐diameter capillaries, respectively. These results indicate that the enzyme reaction is efficient, having enzyme kinetics similar to that of a reaction occurring in solution. This enzyme immobilization method was also applied to another enzyme, glutamate oxidase, yielding similar results.  相似文献

A simple procedure was developed to prepare a glassy carbon electrode modified with multi walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and Celestin blue. Cyclic voltammograms of the modified electrode show stable and a well defined redox couple with surface confined characteristic at wide pH range (2–12). The formal potential of redox couple (E′) shifts linearly toward the negative direction with increasing solution pH. The surface coverage of Celestine blue immobilized on CNTs glassy carbon electrode was approximately 1.95×10?10 mol cm?2. The charge transfer coefficient (α) and heterogeneous electron transfer rate constants (ks) for GC/MWCNTs/Celestine blue were 0.43 and 1.26 s?1, respectively. The modified electrode show strong catalytic effect for reduction of hydrogen peroxide and oxygen at reduced overpotential. The glucose biosensor was fabricated by covering a thin film of sol‐gel composite containing glucose oxides (GOx) on the surface of Celestine blue /MWCNTs modified GC electrode. The biosensor can be used successfully for selective detection of glucose based on the decreasing of cathodic peak current of oxygen. The detection limit, sensitivity and liner calibration rang were 0.3 μM, 18.3 μA/mM and 10 μM–6.0 mM, respectively. The accuracy of the biosensor for glucose detection was evaluated by detection of glucose in a serum sample, using standard addition protocol. In addition biosensor can reach 90% of steady currents in about 3.0 sec and interference effect of the electroactive existing species (ascorbic acid–uric acid and acetaminophen) was eliminated. Furthermore, the apparent Michaelis–Menten constant 2.4 mM, of GOx on the nano composite exhibits excellent bioelectrocatalytic activity of immobilized enzyme toward glucose oxidation. Excellent electrochemical reversibility of redox couple, high stability, technically simple and possibility of preparation at short period of time are of great advantages of this procedure for modification of glucose biosensor.  相似文献

A novel amperometric biosensor for glucose was developed by entrapping glucose oxidase (GOD) in a chitosan composite doped with ferrocene monocarboxylic acid‐aminated silica nanoparticles conjugate (FMC‐ASNPs) and multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs). The entrapped FMC‐ASNPs conjugate performed excellent redox electrochemistry and the presence of MWNTs improved the conductivity of the composite film. This matrix showed a biocompatible microenvironment for retaining the native activity of the entrapped GOD and was in favor of the accessibility of substrate to the active site of GOD, thus the affinity to substrates is improved greatly. Under optimal conditions this biosensor was able to detect glucose with a detection limit of 10 μM (S/N=3) in the linear range of 0.04 to 6.5 mM. The proximity of these three components FMC‐ASNPs, MWNTs and GOD enhanced the electron transfer between the film and electrode. This composite film can be extended to immobilize other enzymes and biomolecules, which will greatly facilitate the development of biosensors and other bioelectrochemical devices.  相似文献

Nanohybrids of chemically modified graphene (CMG) and ionic liquid (IL) were prepared by sonication to modify the electrode. The modified CMG‐IL electrodes showed a higher current and smaller peak‐to‐peak potential separation than a bare electrode due to the promoted electron transfer rate. Furthermore, the glucose oxidase (GOx) immobilized on the modified electrode displayed direct electron transfer rate and symmetrical redox potentials with a linear relationship at different scan rates. The fabricated GOx/CMG‐IL electrodes were developed selective glucose biosensor with respect to a sensitivity of 0.64 μA mM?1, detection limit of 0.376 mM, and response time of <5 s.  相似文献

This paper describes glucose nanosensors based on the co-electrodeposition of a poly(vinylimidazole) complex of [Os(bpy)2Cl]+/2+ and glucose oxidase (GOD) on a low-noise carbon fiber nanoelectrodes (CFNE). The SEM image shows that the osmium redox polymer/enzyme composite film is uniform. The film modified CFNE exhibits the classical features of a kinetically fast redox couple bound to the electrode surface. A strong and stable electrocatalytic current is observed in the presence of glucose. Under the optimal experimental conditions, the nanosensor offers a highly sensitive and rapid response to glucose at an operating potential of 0.22 V. A wide linear dynamic rang of 0.01-15 mM range was achieved with a detection limit of 0.004 mM. Compared with the conventional gold electrode, the nanosensor possessed higher sensitivity and longer stability. Successful attempts were made in real time monitoring rabbit blood glucose levels.  相似文献

A novel amperometric glucose biosensor was fabricated by in situ incorporating glucose oxidase (GOD) within the sol‐gel silica film on a Prussian blue (PB) modified electrode. The method is simple and controllable, which combined the merits of in situ immobilizing biomolecules in sol‐gel silica film by electrochemical method and the synergic catalysis effects of PB and GOD molecules. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that the GOD/sol‐gel silica film was homogeneous with a large number of three‐dimensional nanopores, which not only enhanced mass transport, but also maintained the active configuration of the enzyme molecule and prevented the leakage of enzyme, therefore improved the stability and sensitivity of the biosensor. The fabricated biosensor showed fast response time (10 s), high sensitivity (26.6 mA cm?2 M?1), long‐term stability, good suppression of interference, and linear range of 0.01 mM–5.8 mM with a low detection limit of 0.94 μM for the detection of glucose. In addition, the biosensor was successfully applied to determine glucose in human serum samples.  相似文献
