A novel chemiluminescence (CL) method for the determination of hydrogen peroxide is described. Method is based on the transition metals in highest oxidation state complex, which include diperiodatoargentate (DPA) and diperiodatonickelate (DPN) and show excellent sensitisation on the luminol-H2O2 CL reaction with low luminol concentration in alkaline medium. In particular, the sensitiser which was previously reported (such as Co2+, Cu2+, Ni2+, Mn2+, Fe3+, Cr3+, KIO4, K3Fe(CN)6 etc.) to be unobserved CL due to poor sensitisation with such low concentration of luminol which makes the method hold high selectivity. Based on this observation, the detection limits were 6.5?×?10?9?mol?L?1 and 1.1?×?10?8?mol?L?1 hydrogen peroxide for the DPN- and DPA-luminol CL systems, respectively. The relative CL intensity was linear with the hydrogen peroxide concentration in the range of 2.0?×?10?8–6.0?×?10?6?mol?L?1 and 4.0?×?10?8–4.0?×?10?6?mol?L?1 for the DPN- and DPA-luminol CL systems, respectively. The proposed method had good reproducibility with a relative standard deviation of 3.4% (8.0?×?10?7?mol?L?1, n?=?7) and 1.0% (2.0?×?10?6?mol?L?1, n?=?7) for the DPN- and DPA-luminol CL systems, respectively. A satisfactory result has been gained for the determination of H2O2 in rainwater and artificial lake water by use of the proposed method.  相似文献

The present work, regarding the determination of ultratrace Os(VIII), Ru(III) and Ir(III) in superficial waters is an interesting example of the possibility to simultaneously, or better sequentially determine each single element in real samples by voltammetry. The method is based on the catalytic current of the Os(VIII)‐ and Ru(III)‐bromate systems by square wave voltammetry and on the Ir(III) determination by square wave catalytic adsorptive stripping voltammetry. 0.5 mol L?1 acetate buffer pH 4.9+7.7×10?2 mol L?1 NaBrO3 and 0.5 mol L?1 acetate buffer pH 4.9+7.7×10?2 mol L?1 NaBrO3+2.3×10?5 mol L?1 cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) +0.2 mol L?1 KCl were employed as the supporting electrolytes. The analytical procedure was verified by the analysis of the standard reference materials: Sea Water BCR‐CRM 403 and Fresh Water NIST‐SRM 1643d. For all the elements, the accuracy, expressed as relative error e (%), was satisfactory, being lower than 6 %, while precision as repeatability, expressed as relative standard deviation, sr (%), was generally lower than 5 %. Once set up on the standard reference materials, the analytical procedure was transferred and applied to superficial water sampled in proximity to superhighway and in the Po river mouth area.  相似文献

A glassy carbon electrode coated the film of 4‐tert‐butyl‐1‐(ethoxycarbonylmethoxy)thiacalix[4]arene is designed for the determination of trace amounts of Hg2+. Compared with bare glassy carbon electrode, the modified electrode can improve the measuring sensitivity of Hg2+. Under the optimum experimental condition, the modified electrode in 0.1 mol L?1 H2SO4 + 0.01 mol L?1 KCl solution shows a linear voltammetric response in the range of 8.0 × 10?9 ~ 3.0 × 10?6 mol L?1 with detection limit 5.0 × 10?9 mol L?1 for Hg2+. The high sensitivity, selectivity, and stability of modified electrode also prove its practical application for a simple, rapid and economical determination of Hg2+ in water samples.  相似文献

A new voltammetric sensor, Langmuir–Blodgett (LB) film of a p‐tert‐butylcalix[4]arene derivative modified glassy carbon electrode, was designed and successfully used in simultaneous determination of Tl+ and Pb2+ by square‐wave anodic stripping voltammetry. Under the optimum experimental conditions, this newly developed sensor reveal good linear response for Tl+ and Pb2+ in the concentration range of 3×10?8–4×10?6 mol L?1 and 2×10?7–2×10?5 mol L?1 respectively. The detect limits are 2×10?8 mol L?1 for Tl+ and 8×10?8 mol L?1 for Pb2+. Using proposed method, Tl+ and Pb2+ in environment samples were determined with satisfactory results.  相似文献

The voltammetric behavior of 3‐nitrofluoranthene and 3‐aminofluoranthene was investigated in mixed methanol‐water solutions by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) at boron doped diamond thin‐film electrode (BDDE). Optimum conditions have been found for determination of 3‐nitrofluoranthene in the concentration range of 2×10?8–1×10?6 mol L?1, and for determination 3‐aminofluorathnene in the concentration range of 2×10?7–1×10?5 mol L?1, respectively. Limits of determination were 3×10?8 mol L?1 (3‐nitrofluoranthene) and 2×10?7 mol L?1 (3‐aminofluoranthene).  相似文献

A simple, rapid and a highly selective method for direct electrochemical determination of acebutolol hydrochloride (AC) was developed. The developed method was based on the construction of three types of sensors conventional polymer (I), carbon paste (II) and modified carbon nanotubes (MCNTs) carbon paste (III). The fabricated sensors depend mainly on the incorporation of acebutolol hydrochloride with phosphotungstic acid (PTA) forming ion exchange acebutolol‐phosphotungstate (AC‐PT). The performance characteristics of the proposed sensors were studied. The sensors exhibited Nernstian responses (55.6 ± 0.5, 57.14 ± 0.2 and 58.6 ± 0.4 mV mol L?1) at 25 °C over drug concentration ranges (1.0 × 10?6‐1.0 × 10?2, 1.0 × 10?7‐1.0 × 10?2 and 5.0 × 10?8‐1.0 × 10?2 mol L?1 with lower detection limits of (5.0 × 10?7, 5.0 × 10?8 and 2.5 × 10?8 mol L?1 for sensors (I), (II) and (III), respectively. The influence of common and possible interfering species, pharmaceutical additives and some related pharmacological action drugs was investigated using separate solution method and no interference was found. The stability indicating using forced degradation of acebutolol hydrochloride was studied. The standard addition method was used for determination of the investigated drug in its pharmaceutical dosage forms and biological fluids. The results were validated and statistically analysed and compared with those from previously reported methods.  相似文献

This study investigates a new approach for the amperometric determination of sulfide using a hematoxylin multiwalled carbon nanotubes modified carbon paste electrode (HM‐MWCNTs/CPE). The experimental results show that HM‐MWCNTs/CPE significantly enhances the electrocatalytic activity towards sulfide oxidation. Cyclic voltammetric studies show that the peak potential of sulfide shifted from +400 mV at unmodified CPE to +175 mV at HM‐MWCNTs/CPE. The currents obtained from amperometric measurements at optimum conditions were linearly correlated with the concentration of sulfide. The calibration curve was obtained for sulfide concentrations in the range of 0.5–150×10?6 mol L?1. The detection limit was found to be 0.2×10?6 mol L?1 for the amperometric method. The proposed method was successfully applied to a river water sample in Pardubice, Czech Republic.  相似文献

Abstract

The potentiometric response characteristics of a new copper(II) ion-selective PVC membrane electrode based on erythromycin ethyl succinate (EES) as ionophore were investigated. The electrode exhibited a Nernstian response to Cu2+ ions over the activity range of 1.5 × 10?2 to 2.0 × 10?6 mol L?1 with a limit of detection of 6.3 × 10?7 mol L?1. Stable potentials were obtained in the pH range of 5.5–6.5. The potentiometric selectivity coefficients were calculated by using fixed interference method and revealed no important interferences except for Ag+. This electrode was successfully applied as an indicator electrode in determination of copper ions in real water samples.  相似文献

A bare glassy carbon electrode is applied to nickel determination by adsorptive stripping voltammetry in the presence of dimethylglyoxime as a complexing agent. A procedure of nickel determination and electrode regeneration was proposed. The calibration graph for Ni(II) for an accumulation time of 120?s was linear from 2?×?10?9 to 1?×?10?7?mol?L?1. The detection limit was 8.2?×?10?10?mol?L?1. The relative standard deviation for a solution containing 2?×?10?8?mol?L?1 of Ni(II) was 4.1%. The proposed procedure was applied for Ni(II) determination in certified water reference materials.  相似文献

Three stochastic sensors based on nanodiamond (nDP) paste modified with α, β, and γ‐cyclodextrin were designed and characterized for pattern recognition of aspartame, acesulfame K and sodium cyclamate in beverages, ketchup, and biological fluids. The linear concentration ranges obtained for acesulfame K (between 1.00×10?10 mol L?1and 1.00×10?3 mol L?1), for aspartame (between 1.00×10?12 mol L?1 and 1.00×10?3 mol L?1) and for sodium cyclamate (between 4.97×10?12 mol L?1 and 4.97×10?3 mol L?1) allow their assay in biological fluids, beverages and ketchup. The lowest limits of quantification were obtained using the stochastic sensor based on γ‐CD/nDP: for acesulfame K 1.00×10?10 mol L?1, for aspartame 1.00×10?12 mol L?1 and for sodium cyclamate 4.97×10?12 mol L?1. All three stochastic sensors revealed very high values of sensitivities. The proposed method was reliable for qualitative and quantitative assay of aspartame, acesulfame K and sodium cyclamate in beverages, ketchup, and in biological fluids such as urine.  相似文献

The present work describes the individual, selective and simultaneous quantification of acetaminophen (ACP) and tramadol hydrochloride (TRA) using a modification‐free boron‐doped diamond (BDD) electrode. Cyclic voltammetric measurements revealed that the profile of the binary mixtures of ACP and TRA were manifested by two irreversible oxidation peaks at about +1.04 V (for ACP) and +1.61 V (for TRA) in Britton‐Robinson (BR) buffer pH 3.0. TRA oxidation peak was significantly improved in the presence of anionic surfactant, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), while ACP signal did not change. By employing square‐wave stripping mode in BR buffer pH 3.0 containing 8×10?4 mol L?1 SDS after 30 s accumulation under open‐circuit voltage, the BDD electrode could be used for quantification of ACP and TRA simultaneously in the ranges 1.0–70 μg mL?1 (6.6×10?6–4.6×10?4 mol L?1) and 1.0–70 μg mL?1 (3.3×10?6–2.3×10?4 mol L?1), with detection limits of 0.11 μg mL?1 (7.3×10?7 mol L?1) and 0.13 μg mL?1 (4.3×10?7 mol L?1), respectively. The practical applicability of the proposed approach was tested for the individual and simultaneous quantification of ACP and/or TRA in the pharmaceutical dosage forms.  相似文献

Three types of ion‐selective electrodes: PVC membrane, modified carbon paste (CPE), and coated graphite electrodes (CGE) have been constructed for determining paroxetine hydrochloride (Prx). The electrodes are based on the ion pair of paroxetine with sodium tetraphenylborate (NaTPB) using dibutyl phthalate as plasticizing solvent. Fast, stable and potentiometric response was obtained over the concentration range of 1.1×10?5–1×10?2 mol L?1 with low detection limit of 6.9×10?6 mol L?1 and slope of a 56.7±0.3mV decade?1 for PVC membrane electrode, the concentration range of 2×10?5–1×10?2 mol L?1 with low detection limit of 1.2×10?5 mol L?1 and slope of a 57.7±0.6 mV decade?1 for CPE, and the concentration range of 2×10?5–1×10?2 mol L?1 with low detection limit of 8.9×10?6 mol L?1 and slope of a 56.1±0.1 mV decade?1 for CGE. The proposed electrodes display good selectivity for paroxetine with respect to a number of common inorganic and organic species. The electrodes were successfully applied to the potentiometric determination of paroxetine hydrochloride in its pure state, its pharmaceutical preparation, human urine and plasma.  相似文献

A sensitive catalytic adsorptive stripping voltammetric procedure for determination of traces of total chromium in environmental samples is reported. The method is based on the preconcentration of a Cr(III)? H2DTPA complex by adsorption at the HMDE from an acetate buffer solution at the potential ?1.0 V vs. Ag/AgCl. Total chromium was determined as Cr(III) after reduction of Cr(VI) to Cr(III) by NaHSO3. In order to stabilize the signal of Cr(III) the measurements were performed at 5 °C. The calibration graph for chromium for an accumulation time of 60 s was linear in the range from 5×10?10 to 5×10?8 mol L?1. The relative standard deviation for a chromium concentration of 1×10?8 mol L?1 was 3.9% (n=5). The detection limit for accumulation time of 60 s was about 8×10?11 mol L?1. The validation of the procedure was performed by the analysis of the certified reference materials.  相似文献

A lead‐copper film electrode was proposed for Co(II) determination by catalytic adsorptive stripping voltammetry. The electrode was plated in situ and hence the exchange of a solution after plating step was not required. At optimized conditions the calibration graph for Co(II) was linear from 5×10?10 to 2×10?8 mol L?1 for accumulation time of 15 s. The relative standard deviation for Co(II) determination at concentration 5×10?9 mol L?1 was 4.1%. The detection limits for Co(II) were 1.2×10?10 and 1.0×10?11 mol L?1 for an accumulation time of 15 and 180 s, respectively. The method was applied to Co(II) determination in certified reference material and other water samples.  相似文献

Differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) at a carbon fibre rod electrode (CFRE) and a capillary carbon paste electrode (CPE) have been used for the determination of pesticides cymoxanil and famoxadone, respectively. In the cathodic potential range, optimum conditions were found for the determination of cymoxanil by DPV at CFRE at pH 4 with limit of quantification (LQ) of 5.9×10?7 mol L?1. In the anodic area, determination of famoxadone by DPV at CPE was performed at optimum pH 2 with LQ=1.4×10?7 mol L?1. Practical applicability of the newly developed methods was verified on spiked samples of river water and soil.  相似文献

This work presents the analytical method development for iron and copper determination in ethanol fuel. This method was developed using stripping voltammetry with a glassy carbon electrode modified with Nafion/Carbon‐nanotubes. With linear sweep stripping voltammetry was achieved a limit of detection of 7.1×10?7 mol L?1 for Fe3+ and 5.1×10?8 mol L?1 for Cu2+. The amperometric sensitivities were 2.0×106 µA mol?1 L for Fe3+ and 2.8×107 µA mol?1 L for Cu2+. The recovery study showed that the method has good accuracy and repeatability, with recovery of 108 and 103 % for Fe3+ and Cu2+ respectively.  相似文献

A sensitive and selective on‐line voltammetric procedure for determination of traces of Se(IV) is presented. The pulsed potential accumulation was proposed for minimization of interferences of surface active substances and foreign ions. The calibration plot was linear from 1×10?9 mol L?1 to 4×10?8 mol L?1 for accumulation time of 180 s. The relative standard deviation was 6.1% (n=5) for a Se(IV) concentration of 1×10?8 mol L?1. The detection limit estimated from (3 σ) for an accumulation time of 180 s was about 4×10?10 mol L?1. Abstract

A carbon paste electrode modified with cobalt phthalocyanine (CPECoPc) was developed and applied to the determination of hydrazine [N2H4] in industrial boiler feed water. The CPECoPc exhibited good electrocatalytical activity for hydrazine oxidation at pH 13. A linear correlation was obtained between anodic peak current (Iap) and hydrazine concentration in the range of 1.25 × 10?4 to 9.80 × 10?4 mol L?1, fit by the equation Iap = 1.47 + 4.90 × 105 [N2H4] with a correlation coefficient of 0.9967. A detection limit of 7.35 × 10?5 mol L?1 was obtained. Recovery of hydrazine from three samples ranged between 99.0% and 102.9%. The modified electrode showed no interference by cations commonly present in boiler water, such as K+, Na+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Al3+, Pb2+, and Zn2+. The results obtained for hydrazine in boiler water using the proposed modified electrode are in agreement with the data obtained by a standard spectrophotometric method, at the 95% confidence level.  相似文献

A new method using differential pulse adsorptive stripping voltammetry for the determination of atrazine (ATZ) in natural water samples using a bismuth film electrode (BiFE) is proposed. The calibration curve was linear in the atrazine concentration range from 6.7×10?7 to 2.0×10?5 mol L?1, with a limit of detection (LOD) of 1.4×10?7 mol L?1. The proposed electrode was applied for atrazine determination with satisfactory results compared with a high‐performance liquid chromatography method (HPLC).  相似文献

A ratiometric fluorescent zinc probe 1 of carboxamidoquinoline with a carboxylic acid group was designed and synthesised. Probe 1 exhibits high selectivity for sensing Zn2+; about a 13-fold increase in fluorescence emission intensity and an 82?nm red-shift of fluorescence emission are observed upon binding Zn2+ in EtOH/H2O (1?:?1, V/V) solution. The ratiometric fluorescence response is attributed to the 1?:?1 complex formation between probe 1 and Zn2+ which has been utilised as the basis for the selective detection of Zn2+. The analytical performance characteristics of the proposed Zn2+-sensitive probe were investigated. The linear response range covers a concentration range of Zn2+ from 2.0?×?10?6 to 5.0?×?10?5?mol?L?1 and the detection limit is 2.7?×?10?7?mol?L?1. The determination of Zn2+ in both tap and river water samples shows satisfactory results.  相似文献
