We estimate the decay widths of the 0±-glueballs by taking account of the mixings with η and η′ through their anomalous coupling. We find a pseudoscalar glueball with a broad decay width, if its mass is larger than mδ(980) + mπ. On the other hand, a scalar glueball has a narrow decay width. Assuming E(1440) to be the pseudoscalar glueball, we predict Γδ(980)ππ≈ 40 MeV.  相似文献

The 3S-1S mass separations of the bound quark-antiquark systems, as arising from one-gluon exchange, in the charm color quartet scheme, are discussed for the ground mesons and their first radial excitations expecially in connection to leptonic decay rates. Overall consistency requires large modifications for the positronium-like formulae for annihilation and the possible role in this direction of an outstanding gluon radiative correction to the leptonic width is pointed out.  相似文献

Treating light as well as heavy pseudoscalar and vector mesons as non-relativistic quarkonia, we calculate various decay modes, including lowest QCD corrections. All decay modes studied are in good agreement with experiment, indicating that the quarkonium treatment is applicable to light mesons η, η′, π, also. Consistency of the quarkonium and current algebra treatments for the process π0 → 2λ leads to fπ = (3)mu {1 ? (0.62/4π)αs(μ)}, where mu is the constituent u-quark mass, and fπ ? 93 MeV.  相似文献

We present the results of searches for decays of B mesons to final states with a b1 meson and a charged pion or kaon. The data, collected with the BABAR detector at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, represent 382x10(6) BB[over ] pairs produced in e+e- annihilation. The results for the branching fractions are, in units of 10(-6), B(B+-->b1(0)pi+)=6.7+/-1.7+/-1.0, B(B+-->b1(0)K+)=9.1+/-1.7+/-1.0, B(B0-->b1(-/+)pi(+/-))=10.9+/-1.2+/-0.9, and B(B0-->b1(-)K+)=7.4+/-1.0+/-1.0, with the assumption that B(b1-->omega pi)=1. We also measure charge and flavor asymmetries A(ch)(B+-->b1(0)pi+)=0.05+/-0.16+/-0.02, Ach(B+-->b1(0)K+)=-0.46+/-0.20+/-0.02, A(ch)(B0-->b1(-/+)pi(+/-))=-0.05+/-0.10+/-0.02, C(B0-->b1(-/+)pi(+/-))=-0.22+/-0.23+/-0.05, DeltaC(B0-->b1(-/+)pi(+/-))=-1.04+/-0.23+/-0.08, and A(ch)(B0-->b1(-)K+)=-0.07+/-0.12+/-0.02. We report results of a search for flavor-changing neutral current (FCNC), lepton flavor, and lepton-number violating decays of the D0 (and its antiparticle) into three and four bodies. Using data from Fermilab charm hadroproduction experiment E791, we examine modes with two leptons (muons or electrons) and a rho(0), K( *0), or straight phi vector meson or a nonresonant pi(pi), Kpi, or KK pair of pseudoscalar mesons. No evidence for any of these decays is found. Therefore, we present branching-fraction upper limits at 90% confidence level for the 27 decay modes examined (18 new).  相似文献

It is shown that in the framework of an analytical confinement, when quark and gluon propagators are induced by a vacuum self-dual gluon field with constant strength, the masses of mesons with quantum numbers Q = (J P ,n), where n is the radial quantum number, and quark constituents m 1, m 2 are described with reasonable accuracy by the formula The positive parameter A Q is unique for all mesons with a fixed quantum number Q. Sets of mesons J P = 1, 0+, 1+, 2+, 3 for n = 0 and 1 , 2+ for n > 0 and different flavor constituent quarks (u = d, s, c, b) are considered.  相似文献

In this article we give a review of certain aspects of the present understanding of spectroscopy of heavy mesons and constituent quark masses in the light of non-relativistic potential model approach motivated by quantum chromodynamics. We find that the one gluon exchange at short distance and colour-confining interaction at large distance which is pure scalar (or scalarvector admixture with dominant scalar interaction) under the Lorentz transformation, can explain only partially the present data on 1 P states of bb and bb states. The S-wave data, that are available at present, however can be understood with both scalar confinement or scalar-vector admixture with scalar-dominant interaction.  相似文献

In this paper, the semileptonic weak decay process of B (s)S scalar mesons is investigated by using the light-cone QCD sum rules (LCSR) in the nonperturbative part. The corresponding transition matrix elements leading to form factors and the branching ratio of this process are determined.  相似文献

We calculate the radiative decay widths of the a 0(980) and f 0(980) scalar mesons into ργ and ωγ considering the dynamically generated nature of these scalar resonances within the realm of the chiral unitary approach. The main ingredient in the evaluation of the radiative width of the scalar mesons are the loops coming from the decay into their constituent pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar components and the subsequent radiation of the photon. The dominant diagrams with only pseudoscalar mesons in the loops are found to be convergent while the divergence of those with a vector meson in the loop are written in terms of the two-meson loop function easily regularizable. We provide results for all the possible charge channels and obtain results, with uncertainties, which differ significantly from quark loops models and some version of vector meson dominance.  相似文献

We investigate the role of the t-channel meson exchange in various photoproduction processes to discuss features of the respective production mechanism. For the less model-dependent analysis we work with the t-channel meson pole reggeized in the Born approximation amplitude. With the meson–baryon coupling constants chosen consistently with symmetry prediction we show that the Reggeized pole model could reproduce the experimental data to a good degree in the lower energy region. Numerical consequences show the significance of the tensor meson exchange in the γ pK +Λ, the dominance of the pseudoscalar meson exchange in the πΔ (and KΣ*) processes, and the sizable role of the vector-meson magnetic moment in the charged ρ (and K*) photoproductions, respectively. These new features from the present analyses could provide a useful guide for future study of the N* resonances in the low energy region.  相似文献

The mixing between qq̄ meson and qq̄qq̄ tetra-quark states is examined within an effective QCD Coulomb gauge Hamiltonian model. Mixing matrix elements of the Hamiltonian are computed and then diagonalized yielding an improved prediction for the low-lying JPC=0±+,1 isoscalar spectra. Mixing effects were found significant for the scalar hadrons but not for the 1 states, which is consistent with the ideal mixing of vector mesons. The PCAC consistency condition, the Adler-Weisberger sum rule and the dispersion superconvergent sum rule have been saturated with resonance contributions only. Strangeness-changing currents and strangeness-conserving currents have been considered and compared. The results obtained also support PCAC for the strangeness conserving current. While in theπN case PCAC and the Adler-Weisberger sum rule are almost saturated with the famous N 33 * resonance only, in the KN caseY 1 * (1385),Y 0 * (1405) andY 0 * (1520) seem to be sufficient. The superconvergent sum rule works very well in the case ofπN scattering, including the contribution of twelve resonances. For KN scattering it can be neither established nor disapproved.  相似文献
