Non-perovskite SrFeCo0.5O x (SFC2) was found to have high electronic and ionic conductivities as well as structural stability. At 800°C in air, total and ionic conductivities of 17 and 7 S·cm−1 were measured, respectively; the ionic transference number was calculated to be ≈0.4. This material is unique because of its high electronic conductivity and comparable electronic and ionic transference numbers. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that air-sintered SFC2 consists of three phase components, ≈75 wt% , ≈20 wt% perovskite , and ≈5 wt% rock salt CoO. Argon-annealed SFC2 contains brownmillerite Sr2(Fe1−x Co x )2O5 and rock salt CoO. Dense SFC2 membranes were able to withstand large pO2 gradients and retain mechanical strength. A 2.9-mm-thick disk membrane was tested in a gas-tight electrochemical cell at 900°C; an oxygen permeation flux rate ≈2.5 cm3(STP)·cm−2·min−1 was measured. A dense thin-wall tubular membrane of 0.75-mm thickness was tested in a methane conversion reactor for over 1,000 h. At 950°C, the oxygen permeation flux rate was ≈10 cm3(STP)·cm−2·min−1 when the SFC2 thin-wall membrane was exposed with one side to air and the other side to 80% methane balanced with inert gas. Results from these two independent experiments agreed well. The SFC2 material is a good candidate as dense ceramic membranes for oxygen separation from air or for use in methane conversion reactors.  相似文献

The yields of hydrogen atoms, oxygen atoms and molecules, and hydroxyl radicals after a microwave discharge in the mixture of CO2 and H2 were measured by ESR spectroscopy in a flow-type system. A mathematical model of the kinetics of chemical reactions downstream the microwave discharge was devised. The concentrations of particles that cannot be detected under our experimental conditions were estimated. A combined method involving electrochemical oxidation of iodide to iodate at a platinum electrode followed by extraction in CCl4 of ionic associates of iodine-iodide complexes with brilliant green, formed in excess of iodide, was developed for the spectrophotometric quantification of iodide. The slope of the calibration curve yields a molar extinction coefficient of ɛ = 3·105 L mol−1cm−1. This method can be used for the quantification of iodide in the concentration range of 3·10−7 − 3·10−6 mol L−1 with a detection limit of 5·10−8 mol L−1. The interfering effect of other ions on the determination of the iodide concentration was also investigated. The method was successfully applied for the determination of iodide in real samples of NaCl and spring water. Relative standard deviation is 1–2%.  相似文献

The energy-dependent range of charged particles in activation analysis according to the reaction12C(d,n)13N permits the method to be applied to carbon determination in model epitaxial layers of sufficient thickness. We investigated 100 μm epitaxial layers of the n-type and undoped 50 μ layers as to p Czochralski substrates. Deuterons were slowed down with Cu and Ta foils having a limiting energy of 13.5 MeV, to 4.2 MeV and 2.9 MeV, respectively. In the resulting activation depths of 52 and 102 μm, the sensitivity of the method, which is 3·1014 at ·cm−3C at Ed=10 MeV in silicon, is reduced to 25% and 10%, respectively. An optimal flux of 0.9 μA·cm−2 was maintained. After irradiation, 20 or 10 μm were etched off. The sample was inductively fused at 1500 K in a Pb3O4/B2O3 mixture.13N was passed with He as carrier gas into an absorption vessel kept at 77 K, and its activity was measured in γ, γ-coincidence.  相似文献

Summary A new extractive spectrophotometric method is described for determining trace amounts of Mn(II) based on its reaction at pH 10.2 with 3-bromobenzohydroxamic acid (3BrHA) and subsequent extraction into Adogen 464 in toluene. The apparent molar absorptivity of the 1:3:1 (Mn:3BrHA:Adogen 464) complex is 8.7×103 l·mol−1 cm−1 at 450 nm. Beer's law is obeyed from 0.5 to 6.0 mg·1−1 of Mn(II) in the aqueous phase with a C.V. of 1.2%. The detection limit is 0.18 mg·1−1. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of manganese in standard steel samples, natural water samples and plant material.  相似文献

The synthesis, properties and analytical possibilities of 2-oximinodimedone monoguanylhydrazone as spectrophotometric reagent have been examined. A new method for the determination of iron has been developed in a concentration range varying from 0·2–5·0 ppm of iron; the molar absorptivity is 1·1×104 litres mol−1 cm−1 at 600 nm and the relative error is ±0·3%. The method has been applied satisfactorily to the determination of iron in different inorganic samples.  相似文献

The experimental device used is described. Excitation functions are given for an angle of observation 150° with respect to the incident beam. The possibilities of applying these reactions to the measurement of surface lithium and fluorine concentrations are considered. The detection limits for these two elements are shown to be 5·10−3 μg·cm−2 with protons of energy between 1,350 and 1,500 keV. The method is compared with that based on the detection of prompt γ-rays from the reactions7Li(p, γ)8Be and19F(p, α γ)16O.   相似文献

The role of dead biomasses viz., mango (Mangifera indica) and neem (Azadirachta indica) bark samples are assessed in the removal behavior of, one of important fission fragments, Cs(I) from aqueous solutions employing a radiotracer technique. The batch type studies were carried out to obtain various physico-chemical data. It is to be noted that the increase in sorptive concentration (from 1.0·10−8 to 1.0·10−2 mol·dm−3), temperature (from 298 to 328 K) and pH (2.6 to 10.3) apparently favor the uptake of Cs(I) by these two bark samples. The concentration dependence data obeyed Freundlich adsorption isotherm and the uptake follows first order rate law. Thermodynamic data evaluation and desorption experiments reveal the adsorption to be irreversible and endothermic in nature proceeding through ion-exchange and surface complexation for both dead biomasses. Both bark samples showed a fairly good radiation stability in respect of adsorption uptake of Cs(I) when irradiated with a 300 mCi (Ra-Be) neutron source having an integral neutron flux of ∼3.85·106 n·cm−2·s−1 and associated with a nominal γ-dose of ∼1.72 Gy·h−1.  相似文献

We describe a method for gold analysis in kidney and liver. The technique is simpler than other methods in that it does not require ashing or acid digestion of the sample. The tissue is dried, placed into a polyethylene vial and diluted with a 2 ml sodium chloride solution. Gold concentration is determined by neutron activation analysis. Samples are irradiated for two hours at a thermal neutron flux of 1012n·cm−2·s−1 and are then allowed to decay for 3–4 days before counting. The detection limit (20 ng Au/ml) and precision (±6.1%) permits the accurate analysis of gold in these tissues. This technique could aid in a re-examination of gold metabolism.  相似文献

The conventional multi-column solid phase extraction (SPE) chromatography technique using di-(2-ethylhexyl)orthophosphoric acid (HDEHP) impregnated OASIS-HLB sorbent based SPE resins (OASIS-HDEHP) was developed for the separation of no-carrier added (n.c.a) 177Lu from the bulk quantity of ytterbium target. This technique exploited the large variation of lutetium metal ion distribution coefficients in the varying acidity of the HCl solution-OASIS-HDEHP resin systems for the consecutive loading-eluting cycles performed on different columns. The production batches of several hundred mCi n.c.a 177Lu radioisotope separated from 50 mg Yb target activated in a nuclear reactor of medium neutron flux (Φ = 5·1013 n·cm−2·s−1) were successfully performed using the above mentioned separation technique. With the target irradiation in a reactor of thermal neutron flux Φ = 2·1014 n·cm−2·s−1 or the parallel run of several separation units, many Ci-s of n.c.a 177Lu can be profitably produced. The OASIS-HDEHP resin based multi-column SPE chromatography technique makes the separation process simple and economic and offers an automation capability for operation in highly radioactive hazardous environments.  相似文献

The densities of aqueous solutions of bisurea (2,4,6,8-tetraazabicyclo[3.3.0]octane-3,7-dione) were measured using a vibrating-tube densimeter at 288.15, 298.15, 308.15, and 318.15 K in the concentration range up to ∼3·10−3 moles of solute (1000 g of H2O)−1 with the error at most ±5· 10−6 g cm−3 (reproducibility up to 2·10−6 g cm−3). The limiting partial molar volume and expansibility of bisurea in water were calculated. The bicyclic molecules under study form in aqueous solution H-bonded hydrate complexes with rather high structure-packing density. These complexes are more subjected to the destroying effect of temperature than the corresponding urea complexes. The hydration of bisurea weakens with the temperature increase. Hydroxyl radicals were generated radiolytically in N2O-saturated aqueous solutions of the aminoglycoside antibiotic, gentamycin. Using the pulse radiolysis technique, the rate constant of OH radicals with gentamycin determined was 1.2·109 dm3·mol−1·s−1. Upon.OH attack a transient species with an absorption maximum at 270 nm is observed which decays by second-order kinetics within the solute concentration range of 3.2·10−5 to 1·10−3mol·dm−3. Transient species undergoes transformation to a permanent product absorbing between 260 and 340 nm with maximum absorption at 300 nm. Rate constant of the reaction of bimolecular decay of gentamycin radicals, k (Gen.+Gen.) was found to be ≈ 1.4·107 dm3·mol−1·s−1.  相似文献

At the GKSS Research Center Geesthacht, a new 14 MeV activation facility—a 5·1012 n/s neutron generator combined with a fast rabbit system (KORONA)—is being installed. Homogeneous neutron flux at a level of 5·1010 n·cm−2·s−1 and sample transfer times of 140 ms to a 16m distant detector station are characteristic features of the facility described in the paper. With special consideration of short-lived nuclides and including cyclic activation, the analytical prospects with the intense neutron source are discussed, and sensitivities for 78 elements are presented.  相似文献

A very sensitive extraction spectrophotometric method for the analysis of uranium based on the extraction of a uranium—benzoate—crystal violet complex by a mixture of xylene and benzene is described. The absorbance maximum is at 606 nm and molar absorptivity is 4.28·104 l·mol−1·cm−1. The interference due to a number of anions and cations studied without any pre-extraction was found to be within permissible limits. The method has been used for determining uranium in a synthetic solution, i.e., uranium in the presence of various other ions. The interference due to some cations was eliminated by the use of a masking agent (boric acid).  相似文献

An activation analysis method is described for routine determination of6Li-abundances in various lithium compounds on the basis of the reaction sequence6Li(n,α)T and16O(t, n)18F and the measurement of18F. Irradiations of diluted equeous solutions of samples containing CrO3 as internal flux monitor were carried out at a thermal neutron flux density of ϕ≤1011 n·cm−2·sec−1. Interferences from variations in neutron self-shielding oxygen concentration and triton range do not exceed 0.5% when using the dilution technique. The results for6Li abundances from 3.52 to 7.60% with standard deviations of 1 to 2.5% were confirmed by mass spectrometric measurements.  相似文献

The reaction of the · OH radical with the oxalate ion in an acidic aqueous solution was studied by pulse radiolysis. The rate constant for the reaction of formation of the radical HOOC-COO·(λmax = 250 nm, ɛ = 1800 L mol−1 cm−1) is (5.0±0.5)·107 L mol−1 s−1. In the reaction with the hydrogen ion (k = 1.1·107 L mol−1 s−1), the radical HOOC-COO· is transformed into a nonidentified radical designated arbitrarily as H+(HOOC-COO)· (λmax = 260 nm, ɛ = 4000 L mol−1 cm−1). Ar and Kr matrix effect on the geometry and Cl–H stretching (ν s (Cl–H)) and librational (ν l (Cl–H)) frequencies of the hydrogen-bonded complex Cl–H···NH3 are simulated within the framework of polarizable continuum model with integral equation formalism (IEF-PCM) at B3LYP and MP2 levels of theory with the basis set 6-311++G(2df,2pd). Within the framework of B3LYP and IEF-PCM, the simulated gas phase, Ar, and Kr matrix ν s (Cl–H) of the complex are 2140, 1684, and 1550 cm−1, respectively, which deviate from the experimental values (~2200, 1371, and 1218 cm−1) by −60, 313, and 332 cm−1. Within the framework of MP2 and IEF-PCM, the gas phase, Ar, and Kr matrix ν s (Cl–H) are calculated as 2366, 2037, and 1957 cm−1 by the harmonic approximation, and as 2177, 1876, and 1665 cm−1 by the full-dimensional anharmonic correction. The matrix effect modeling is of greater importance than the anharmonic correction in accounting for the large experimental gas phase to Ar or Kr matrix shift of the ν s (Cl–H) (−829 or −982 cm−1). Our calculations do not support the assignment of the 733.8 and 736.9 cm−1 bands to the Ar and Kr matrix ν l (Cl–H).  相似文献

A sensitive, simple and time-saving method has been developed for the neutron activation analysis of gallium at concentrations around 10−4 ppm in biological tissues. After a 24-hour irradiation in a thermal neutron flux of 2.8·1013 n·cm−2·s−1 and a purification by ion-exchange chromatography to eliminate troublesome elements such as sodium, iron and copper, the72Ga activity is measured with enough accuracy for the method to be applicable in animal physiology and clinical toxicology.  相似文献

Rhodium, palladium, platinum and iridium have been determined in silver matrix by nondestructive activation analysis upon activation with cadmium- and silver-filtered resonance neutrons. Experiments with different types of filter combinations are reported. The sensitivity of the method is 5·10−3% for rhodium, 5·10−3% for palladium, 3·10−2% for platinum and 5·10−3% for iridium.  相似文献
