The p((11)Li, (9)Li)t reaction has been studied for the first time at an incident energy of 3A MeV at the new ISAC-2 facility at TRIUMF. An active target detector MAYA, built at GANIL, was used for the measurement. The differential cross sections have been determined for transitions to the (9)Li ground and first excited states in a wide range of scattering angles. Multistep transfer calculations using different (11)Li model wave functions show that wave functions with strong correlations between the halo neutrons are the most successful in reproducing the observation.  相似文献

The quadrupole interaction of nuclear spin polarized8Li (I=2) and9Li (I=3/2) in LiNbO3 has been studied at room temperature. The polarization was achieved by optical pumping of a fast atomic beam with circularly polarized laser light. The atoms were implanted into a hexagonal LiNbO3 single crystal and the quadrupole splitting ofβ-NMR spectra was measured. A ratio of ¦Q(9Li)/Q(8Li)¦=0.88(4) for the nuclear quadrupole moments was deduced, yielding a new value of ¦Q(9Li)¦=25.3 (9) mb for the quadrupole moment of9Li.  相似文献

We have carried out quantum dynamical calculations of vibrational quenching in Li + Li(2) collisions for both bosonic (7)Li and fermionic (6)Li. These are the first ever such calculations involving fermionic atoms. We find that for the low initial vibrational states considered here (v < or = 3), the quenching rates are not suppressed for fermionic atoms. This contrasts with the situation found experimentally for molecules formed via Feshbach resonances in very high vibrational states.  相似文献

The inclusive differential cross sections of the ^7 Li nucleus in a reaction induced by ^6He on a ^9Be target are measured at an incident energy of 25 MeV/nucleon. Finite-range distorted-wave Born approximation calculations suggest that these ^7 Li particles are formed in a direct single-proton pickup reaction ^9Be(^6He,^7 Li)^8Li. The experimental data can be well reproduced by taking into account of the contributions of both the ground states and the first excited states of ^7Li and ^8Li.  相似文献

The elastic and inelastic scattering of 156 MeV6Li projectiles from6Li is studied experimentally and theoretically. The experimental differential cross sections are analyzed by the method of coupled discretized continuum channels in which resonant and non-resonant break-up states of6Li are taken into account explicitly. The measured cross sections are simultaneously reproduced quite well by the calculations. Coupling effects of the break-up states are found to play an important role for the scattering.  相似文献

A microscopic multi-channel cluster model calculation for the 8Li scattering system has been performed. Diagonal phase shifts, channel coupling strengths, and eigenphases are presented. For comparison, the 8Li bound and quasibound states have been investigated by a refined resonating group calculation. The results of both types of calculations are in excellent agreement. In the energy region up to the 5He-t threshold the calculated S-matrix elements, the energy eigenvalues, and the overlaps of the normalized functions with the eigenvectors explain the origin of the experimentally detected levels and moreover give predictions for the existence of additional levels.  相似文献

Level energies and reduced width amplitudes obtained from shell model calculations for 7Li and 8Li are incorporated into multilevel, multichannel R-matrix calculations of cross sections for reactions leading to these compound systems. With changes to a very few of the large number of parameters obtained from the model calculations, cross sections for eight reactions leading to the 7Li system and for five reactions leading to the 8Li system are calculated. For reactions where data are available, the calculated cross sections are in good agreement with experimental measurements. Comparisons of the present work to other structure studies are made and suggestions as to possible improvements in the model calculations are given. The applicability of the technique used here to other nuclear structure studies is discussed.  相似文献

Within the three-body α2N and 2αN models of the 6Li and 9Be nuclei, respectively, the spectroscopic factors and the momentum distributions of nucleons are computed for the cases where residual nuclei can be formed both in the ground and in excited states. The impact of model parameters on the values of one-nucleon features is discussed. The differential cross sections for elastic proton scattering on the unstable neutron-rich nuclei 8Li and 9Li at E = 700 and 60 MeV per nucleon were considered. The 8Li nucleus was treated on the basis of the three-body α-t-n model, while the 9Li nucleus was considered within the α-t-n and 7Li-n-n models. The cross sections in question were calculated within Glauber diffraction theory. A comparison of the results with available experimental data made it possible to draw conclusions on the quality of the wave functions and potential used in the calculations.  相似文献

The superconductivity of Li under pressure is studied by a density functional method. Structural and elastic properties, transition temperature (Tc), density of states (DOS), are considered for the material at ambient and at higher pressures. The calculations, particularly of Tc and DOS as a function of pressure, are compared with other available results. This is in view of the wide difference between the previously predicted maximum Tc-value and those observed by both magnetic susceptibility and electrical resistivity experiments. The present calculations yield better estimates of Tc and other parameters with respect to measured values.  相似文献

The transverse momentum distribution of a 9Li fragment from the (11Li, 9Li) reaction at an incident energy of 800 MeV/nucleon is calculated within the Glauber theory and compared with the longitudinal one. The both distributions are not very much different at high energy. A simple hybrid model wave function[1] comprising both aspects of shell model and di-neutron cluster model gives a reasonable fit to the measured distribution.  相似文献

We report on the observation of Feshbach resonances in an ultracold mixture of two fermionic species, (6)Li and (40)K. The experimental data are interpreted using a simple asymptotic bound state model and full coupled channels calculations. This unambiguously assigns the observed resonances in terms of various s- and p-wave molecular states and fully characterizes the ground-state scattering properties in any combination of spin states.  相似文献

The differential cross sections of proton elastic scattering from 8Li and 9Li nuclei in inverse kinematics have been calculated. The cross sections were determined within the Glauber diffraction theory with the wave functions of nuclei in the three-particle α-t-n, α-t-2n, and 7Li-n-n models. Comparison with the existing experimental data for E = 700 and 60 MeV/nucleon made it possible to draw a conclusion about the quality of the wave functions and the adequacy of the potentials used for their calculations.  相似文献

In the present study, we have analysed the elastic scattering cross-section data of 9Li + 12C system at E lab = 540 MeV and 9Li + 208Pb system at E c.m. = 28.3 MeV for some cluster models and various density distributions of the 9Li nucleus. First, we have obtained five different density distributions of the 9Li nucleus to generate real potentials with the help of double-folding model. For these densities, we have calculated the elastic scattering angular distributions. Secondly, using a simple approach, we have investigated some cluster models of the 9Li nucleus consisting of 6He + 3H and 8Li + n systems. We have presented the comparison of elastic scattering angular distributions for each system with each other as well as with the experimental data. Finally, we have given the cross-section values obtained from the theoretical calculations for all the systems studied in this paper.  相似文献

Total charge-changing cross sections have been measured for8Li on C and Pb targets, for9Li on C, Al, Cu, Sn and Pb targets, as well as for11Li on C, Sn and Pb targets at about 80 MeV/nucleon. These data are compared to measured total reaction cross sections and Glauber-type calculations using Hartree-Fock density distributions. These comparisons allow to draw conclusions on the proton density distribution of the neutronrich lithium isotopes. The results show that even for the most exotic nucleus11Li the proton distribution is only very weakly influenced by the long tail in the neutron density distribution already established in several experiments.  相似文献

The data for the 7Li + 9Be and 7Be + 9Be elastic scattering at the energies E lab(7Li) = 15.75 , 24, 30, 34, 63 and 130MeV and E lab(7Be) = 17 , 19 and 21MeV were analyzed within the optical model and coupled-reaction-channels method. The elastic and inelastic scattering, reorientation of 7Li , 7Be and 9Be as well as most important transfer reactions were included in the coupled-channels scheme. The resulting 7Li and 7Be potentials are very similar and have the same energy dependence. The real potential for recently derived 8Be + 9Be scattering potentials is very similar to that for 7Li , 7Be but the imaginary part of the 8Be one has a much greater strength at longer range.  相似文献

Reaction cross sections of the radiative capture of nucleons 6Li(n, γ)7Li, 6He(p, γ)7Li, and 8Li(p, γ)9Be in the region of low astrophysical energies are calculated using the dynamic potential cluster model. The results are compared to the available experimental and theoretical data. The yields of these reactions are also calculated, based on the established theoretical results.  相似文献

Angular distributions of the cross sections and analyzing powers up to third rank have been measured for the one-neutron transfer reactions 26Mg(7Li,6Li)27Mg, 120Sn(7Li,6Li)121Sn and 120Sn(7Li, 8Li)129Sn initiated by polarized 7Li ions of 44 MeV. Third-rank analyzing power has been measured for the first time in transfer reactions. Coupled-channels calculations in which the ground and first excited states of 7Li are coupled together by collective interactions and one-neutron transfers are calculated in exact finite range explain the experimental data for low-lying states in final nuclei. Extracted spectroscopic factors are in good agreement with those obtained from other one-neutron transfer reactions on the same targets.  相似文献
