TheL 2 andL 3 subshell fluorescence and Coster-Kronig yields forZ=96 have been measured by theK-L x-ray coincidence method with high resolution Si(Li) and Ge(Li) x-ray detectors. The results ν2=0.650±0.036, ω2=0.552±0.032, ω3=0.515±0.034, andf 23=0.188±0.019 agree fairly well with theory. New measurements of theL x-ray singles spectra of244Cm and238Pu with a high resolution Si(Li) detector permitted reevaluation of the values of ω2 andf 23 forZ=92 and 94 reported by Byrneet al. The revised values atZ=92 are ω2=0.529±0.035 andf 23=0.23±0.12, and atZ=94, ω2=0.523±0.023 andf 23=0.24±0.08. These revised values are in much better agreement with theory and with current experiments.  相似文献

The coherent scattering lengthsb and the free cross sections for the scattering of slow neutrons by P and N were measured on powdered samples. From the results we derived data for the incoherent cross sections and for the spin state scattering lengths. We found for phosphorus:b=5.13±0.01 fm, σfree=3.134±0.010b and σinc=0.006±0.016b, and for nitrogen:b=9.36±0.02 fm, σfree=10.03 ±0.08 b and σinc=0.4±0.1 b. Derived values for resonance parameters of N are given.  相似文献

An analysis is presented of the recent data which are sensitive to thee, μ and τ neutral current couplings. A fit combining all results (e + e ?, μC,ve, eD, atoms) selects a unique solution in agreement with the standard-model expectation. Assuming lepton universality, the vector and axial-vector couplings are determined to bev=?0.013±0.048 anda=?0.520±0.014. Similarly we find (sin2 θ=0.213±0.012,ρ=0.015±0.038) or (sin2 θ=0.211α0.012, ρ≡1 which, combined with all other values, gives an average of sin2 θ=0.216±0.006.  相似文献

Penetration effects have been detected in205Tl by measuring theK, L and (M+N+...) internal conversion coefficients of the 204 keV, 3/2+→l/2+ transition. From the resulting values α K =0.29±0.04, α L =0.132±0.006 and α M+N+...=0.0397±0.0034 the penetration parameter and the mixing ratio have been deduced to be λ=13.1±2.7 andδ 2=1.40±0.46, respectively.  相似文献

The productP K ω K of theK-capture probability and theK-fluorescence yieldω K was measured in the EC decay of 17.7 y145Pm and 60.14d125I by means ofK x-ray-γ-ray coincidences with semiconductor detectors. Accepting a best value ofω K =0.920 forZ=60 from the literature, values ofP K =0.606±0.025 and 0.554±0.025 for decay of145Pm to the 67.2 and 72.4 keV levels in145Nd, respectively, were determined, from which the application of EC theory givesQ EC=153±4 keV to the ground state. TheP K ω K ratio to the 67.2 and 72.4 keV levels also was determined independently to be 1.11±0.01, which serves as a good check on theγ-ray-gatedP K values. Theγ-ray energies were determined more accurately to be 72.4±0.1 and 67.2±0.1 keV, together with a ratio of their relative intensities,I 72.4/I 67.2=3.35±0.09. In the decay of125I, a value ofP K ω K =0.699±0.030 was measured, and by using an independent determination ofQ EC=178±2 keV to the ground-state from the literature, a value ofP K=0.801 is calculated from allowed EC theory, from whichω K =0.873±0.017 atZ=52 is obtained. This value is in good agreement with theoretical values and with a value of 0.875±0.028 predicted by the best fit curve of Bambyneket al.  相似文献

Existing values of the conversion coefficient of the 14.4 keV transition in57Fe have been reevaluated using newK-shell fluorescence yields and recent decay scheme information. Previous disagreements are removed and the mean values found are α T =8.26±0.19, α K =7.37±0.17.  相似文献

The longitudinal polarization ofβ-particles from210Bi has been measured at three values of the energy, using a double-focusing crossed field electron spin polarimeter. The results are:E=150keV,P/(?υ/c)=0.70±0.07,E=220keVP/(?υ/c)=0.70±0.05,E=300keV,P/(?υ/c)=0.71±0.05.  相似文献

An ENDOR study of a hole center in MgO with g|=2.0032±0.0001 and g=2.0385±0.0001 reveals that the hole interacts with an axial aluminum ion with A=±0.178±0.008 MHz, A=±0.074±0.008 MHz, and P= ±0.366±0.002 MHz. The structure of the center is consistent with the label, VAl. It is suggested that the VAl center may have been mistaken in the past for the V- center because of the similarity of their g-values, method of production, and thermal properties.  相似文献

Improved production yields of short-lived halogens were obtained from a ThO2 target, irradiated with 600 MeV protons, in combination with a negative surface ionization source. Mass-separated samples were studied by decay spectroscopy. Production yields of radioactive isotopes of chlorine, bromine, iodine and astatine are presented. Half-lives and relative neutron emission probabilities were measured for the heavy bromine isotopes89?92Br. Normalizing to earlier publishedP n values for89Br, the results are:89Br (4.30±0.14s,P n =13.6±0.8%),90Br (1.92±0.06s,P n =24.8±1.5%),91Br (0.53 ±0.03 s,P n =30.1 ±2.1%), and92Br (0.31 ±0.02 s,P n =34.6±2.5%). By63Cu induced reactions on110Cd,108Cd,106Cd,109Ag,107Ag and110Pd targets, new isotopes were searched in the Ir, Os, Re region. Cross bombardments and excitation function measurements were used to identify newα emitting isotopes:170Ir (E α = 6.01 ±0.01 MeV?T 1/2=1.1±0.2s),169Ir (E α =6.11±0.01 MeV?T 1/2=0.4±0.1 s),168Ir (E α =6.22±0.02 MeV,168Os (E α =5.66±0.01 MeV?T 1/2=1.9±0.1 s),167Os (E α =5.84 ±0.01MeV ?T 1/2=0.65±0.15s),166Os (E α =6.00±0.02 MeV?T 1/2=0.3 ±0.1 s),165Os (E α =6.20±0.02 MeV),169Re (E α =5.05±0.01 MeV),168Re (5.26±0.01 MeV?T 1/2=5.5 ±0.5 s). Sources of the mass and chemically separated terbium isotopes,A=157 and 158, have been used to study inner shell phenomena atZ=64. In coincidence experiments employing high resolution Ge and Si(Li) detectors photon spectra characteristic of 2s,2p 1/2, and 2p 3/2 vacancies have been measured. The following results were obtained:f 12=0.20±0.03,f 13=0.289±0.015,f 23=0.14±0.02,v 1=0.179±0.014,v 2=0.21±0.02,ω 3=0.183±0.015. From thisω 1=0.084±0.016 andω 2=0.185±0.020 were deduced. Generally good agreement with the calculations is found, while larger discrepancies pertain to an overall fit of previous experimental results. The electron capture decay energy of157Tb was inferred from the measured 2s-fluorescence yield to be 62.2±0.6 keV.  相似文献

We analyse the experiments [1–3] on the measurement of the pion electromagnetic formfactor in the time-like and space-like region using an expression with correct analytical properties and with the asymptotics predicted by QCD. The best fit values for the physical quantities (1) electromagnetic radius of the pion:r π 2 =0.466±0.002 fm2, (2) the mass and width of the ρ (770) and the ρ′ (1600) meson:m ρ=768±1 MeV,Г ρ=138±1 MeV,m ρ′=1546±26 MeV,Г ρ'=620±60 MeV; (3) the residuesg ρ m ρ 2 =0.676±0.003,g ρ′ m ρ′ 2 =?(0.644±0.009); (4) the ππ-scattering lengtha 1 1 =(0.1±0.01)m π ?3 .  相似文献

The absolute cross sectionσ of thed(7Li,p)8Li reaction near theE cm=0.61 MeV resonance has been measured using a7Li ion beam and a windowless gas target system filled with D2 gas. The proton yield of the reaction and theβ-delayedα-activity of the residual nuclides8Li were observed both concurrently with the elastic scattering yield, relatingσ to the Rutherford scattering cross sectionσ R. The resulting values,σ (fromp)=143.6±8.9 mb andσ (from8Li)=151±20 mb, lead to a weighted mean value ofσ=153±6 mb (x 2=2.26) including all available values andσ=146±5 mb (x 2=0.05) removing some values from the data set. The consequences for the expected flux of high-energy solar neutrinos are discussed.  相似文献

Conversion electron measurements with an electrostatic spectrometer proved the existence of the 1,565±6 eV transition in201Hg. The conversion intensity ratios,N 1/N 2 =1.2±0.2,N 1/N 3=1.1±0.2,N 2/N 3=0.92±0.15,N 4/N 3=0.03± 0.02 andN 5/N 3=0.04 ±0.02 were determined. These values agree with our calculations for the M1±E2 multipolarity with theE2/M1 mixing ratioδ 2=(l.l±0.3)xl0?4 and exclude all pure multipolarities withL≦4. The total conversion coefficient for the aboveM1 +E2 mixture was evaluated to be (4.7±0.7)× 104. The reducedB(M1, 1/2→3/2) probability was derived to be (3.9 ±1.2) × 10?3 (e?/2Mc)2. The natural widths of theN-subshell conversion lines in mercury were found to beΓ(N 1)=8.3± 1.5,Γ(N 2) =5.8±1.5 and Γ(N 3) =6.5±1.0 eV. Monte Carlo calculations of electron scattering in matter yielded the conversion line shapes in qualitative agreement with the experiment.  相似文献

X-band electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) studies are carried out on Fe3+ ions doped in ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (ADP) single crystals at room temperature. The crystal field and spin Hamiltonian parameters are evaluated from the resonance lines obtained at different angular rotations. The obtained values of spin Hamiltonian and zero-field parameters of the Fe3+ ion in ADP are: g = 1.994 ± 0.002, |D| = (220 ± 5) × 10?4 cm?1 and a = (640 ± 5) × 10?4 cm?1. On the basis of EPR data, the site symmetry of the Fe3+ ion in the crystal is discussed. The Fe3+ ion enters the lattice substitutionally replacing the NH4 + sites. The optical absorption of the crystal is also studied at room temperature in the wavelength range of 195–925 nm. The energy values of different orbital levels are calculated. The observed bands are assigned as transitions from the 6 A 1g (S) ground state to various excited quartet levels of the Fe3+ ion in a cubic crystalline field. From the observed band positions, Racah interelectronic repulsion parameters (B and C), cubic crystal field splitting parameter (D q ) and Trees correction are calculated. There values are: B = 970, C = 1,923, D q  = 1,380 cm?1 and α = 90 cm?1, respectively. On the basis of EPR and optical data, the nature of bonding in the crystal is discussed. The zero-field splitting (ZFS) parameters are also determined theoretically using B kq parameters estimated from the superposition model. The values of ZFS parameters thus obtained are |D| = (213 ± 5) × 10?4 cm?1 and |E| = (21 ± 5) × 10?4 cm?1.  相似文献

BackgroundTo evaluate 3-dimensional amide proton transfer weighted (APTw) imaging for type I endometrial carcinoma (EC), and investigate correlations of Ki-67 labelling index with APTw and intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) imaging.Methods54 consecutive patients suspected of endometrial lesions underwent pelvic APTw and IVIM imaging on a 3 T MR scanner. APTw values and IVIM-derived parameters (Dt, D*, f) were independently measured by two radiologists on 22 postoperative pathological confirmed of type I EC lesions. Results were compared between histological grades and Ki-67 proliferation groups. ROC analysis was performed. Pearson's correlation analysis was performed for APTw values and IVIM-derived parameters with Ki-67 labeling index.ResultsAPTw values and Dt, D*, f of all type I EC were 2.9 ± 0.1%, 0.677 ± 0.027 × 10−3 mm2/s, 31.801 ± 11.492 × 10−3 mm2/s, 0.179 ± 0.050 with inter-observer ICC 0.996, 0.850, 0.956, 0.995, respectively. APTw values of Ki-67 low-proliferation group (<30%, n = 8) were 2.5 ± 0.2%, significantly lower than the high-proliferation group (>30%, n = 14) with APTw values of 3.1 ± 0.1% (p = 0.016). Area under the curve was 0.768. APTw values of type I EC were moderately positively correlated with Ki-67 labelling index (r = 0.583, p = 0.004). There was no significant difference of Dt (p = 0.843), D* (p = 0.262), f (p = 0.553) between the two groups. No correlation was found between IVIM-derived parameters and Ki-67 labelling index (Dt, p = 0.717; D* p = 0.151; f, p = 0.153).Conclusion3D TSE APTw imaging is a feasible approach for detecting type I EC. Ki-67 labeling index positively moderately correlates with APTw not with IVIM.  相似文献

The results of an experiment at 4.2 K using the magnetoresistance oscillations caused by the interferometer trajectories in magnesium are reported. The magnesium crystal used in this experiment is believed to have an impurity concentration of ~1 ppm. The quantum state lifetime of electron states traversing the interferometer was determined to be .01±.002 nsec. In addition, the values of the three magnetic breakdown parameters needed to describe the size of the spin orbit energy gaps occurring near the AHL zone plane in magnesium were found to be:H 1=2.90±.1KG,H 2=12.5±.5KG,H 3=4.25±.25KG. The presence of higher harmonics was also observed in the magnetoresistance oscillations and the higher harmonics were used to allow an experimentally meaningful value ofH 3 to be determined. It is presently believed that the sensitivity of the interferometer to quantum state lifetimes can be extended by using the higher harmonics and hence information about electron-phonon and possibly electron-electron interactions will be obtained.  相似文献

Theg factors of the first and second excited 2+ states in192Pt and194Pt have been measured using γ-γ angular correlations perturbed by the hyperfine field in an iron lattice. Bulk magnetizations of sources were examined with special care for different shapes of alloys and different magnetizing conditions. The following results have been obtained:192Pt: 316 keV stateg=0.346±0.024, 612 keV stateg=0.455±0.089.194Pt: 328 keV stateg=0.354±0.031, 622 keV stateg=0.316±0.029. These values are the largest ones which have been reported so far. The discrepancies between the present and previous data are discussed especially in terms of magnetizing conditions for the sources used. It is suggested that the difference ing factor between the first and second 2+ states may be in a certain correlation with M1 matrix element connecting these two states.  相似文献

The internal conversion coefficients have been measured using a high resolution low energy Ge(Li) detector for the followingM4 transitions:125Te: 109.27keV transitionα T =357±11; RG method,127Te: 88.26 keV transitionα T =484±23; XPG method,129Te: 105.50keV transitionα T =213±10; XPG method. It is observed that these values are lower by 2.5–3.6% as compared with Hager and Seltzer's calculations. A comparison between experimental and theoreticalα T andα T values for elevenM4 transitions shows that the experimental values are systematically lower.  相似文献
