Summary A solution to the thin plate bending problem of partially bonded dissimilar strips with two bond lines is presented. The two strips are symmetrically bonded with respect to the interface which is on theX-axis. The complex stress functions approach together with the rational mapping function technique are used in the analysis. A concentrated bending moment applied at each strip is considered. Distributions of bending and torsional moments, as well as the stress intensity of debonding (SID) at the debonding tips are obtained, and the debonding extension is investigated.  相似文献

弹性力学辛对偶求解方法是通过引入原变量的对偶变量将问题导入辛空间,从而使得有效的数学物理方法,如分离变量和辛本征函数展开的方法得以实施并得出问题的解析解。本文通过引入弯矩函数和恰当的变换,首先建立了两侧边边界条件自由的双材料环扇形薄板弯曲问题的辛对偶体系。然后,讨论了弯矩函数表示的非齐次边界条件,并给出了三个有特定物理意义的解,其解在端部的力系是非自相平衡的。对双材料的楔形板而言,这三个解表示的就是在尖端有集中弯矩、集中扭矩、垂直集中力作用的解。最后,讨论了弯矩函数表示的齐次边界条件,并给出了辛本征值的超越方程以及辛本征解,所有这些解在端部的力系都是自相平衡的。本文的工作为相关问题的解析求解以及辛本征解的进一步应用研究奠定了基础。  相似文献

The problem of local buckling, debonding initiation and growth process of the debonding of a bonded two-layer plate is treated. In the weaker layer of the plate, compression appears due to the external compressive axial force and bending moment. The conditions for local buckling of the weaker layer have been studied where the possibility that the stress state in the layers could be in elasto-plastic domain has been considered.A mathematical model is developed to determine the bending displacements of laminate layers after the weaker layer buckles locally, and in the state after the plate has been unloaded. The third-order theory introduced by Chwalla has been implemented. Mechanical properties of the layers and adhesive used in the numerical model were measured with experiments. Experimental work comprised the determination of mechanical properties of the chosen materials and experimental verification of the presented mathematical model. Numerically obtained results are compared with those obtained by an experimental approach, and are found to be in good agreement.  相似文献

In this paper, based on Betti's reciprocal theorem, a set of boundary integral equations of thin plate with a crack is introduced. These boundary integral equations can be used to solve the bending fracture problem of thin plate. In the analysis process a higher-order singular integral equation will be induced. Using the concept of the Hadamard's principal value the higher-order singular integral can be solved conveniently. By this method we have found the analytical solution of a thin plate with a straight crack under pure bending load and indicated how to use the BEM to analyze the bending and fracture problem for thin plate with a straight crack. At the end of the paper some numerical examples are given. Numerical results show the accuracy and efficiency of the algorithms.  相似文献

Lining internally a carbon steel pipe with a thin layer of corrosion resistant material is an economical method for protecting offshore tubulars from the corrosive ingredients of hydrocarbons. In applications involving severe plastic bending, such as in the reeling installation process, the liner can detach from the outer pipe and develop large amplitude buckles that compromise the flow. This paper outlines a numerical framework for establishing the extent to which lined pipe can be bent before liner collapse. The modeling starts with the simulation of the inflation process through which the two tubes develop interference contact pressure. Bending the composite structure leads to differential ovalization and eventually separation of part of the liner from the outer pipe. The unsupported strip of the liner on the compressed side first wrinkles and at higher curvature buckles and collapses in a diamond shaped mode. The sensitivity of the collapse curvature to the various parameters of the problem is studied, and amongst other findings the onset of collapse is shown to be very sensitive to small geometric imperfections in the liner. It is also demonstrated that bending the pipe under modest amounts of internal pressure can delay liner collapse to curvatures that make it reelable.  相似文献

Based on the Kantorovich approximation solution for a rectangular plate in bending, this paper deals with the solutions for the ladder plate with various boundary conditions. The deflection of the plate is expressed in a first-order displacement function w(x,y)=u(x,y)v(y) where the u(x,y) in x direction is the generalized beam function. By making use of the principle of least potential energy, the variable coefficients differential equations for v(y) may be established. By solving is, these differential eugations and making use of the boundary conditions, the accurate solutions of v(y) in y direction may be obtained. Then the displacement function w(x,y) is the solution for the problem of the bending of the ladder plate with a better degree of approximation.  相似文献

The general motion of a thin elastic plate executing small deflections normal to its surface is considered. The edge of the plate is part simply supported, part clamped, part free and part along which the tractions are prescribed. Variational and reciprocity principles are established for the problem.

首先,采用特征函数渐近展开法,推导了Reissner板弯曲界面裂纹尖端附近位移场渐近展开的前两阶显式表达式,并利用所获得的位移场渐近表达式构造了一种可用于Reissner板弯曲界面裂纹分析的奇异单元。然后,将该奇异单元与外部的常规有限单元相结合,开展了含界面裂纹Reissner板弯曲断裂问题的数值分析。奇异单元可以较好地描述裂纹尖端附近的内力场与位移场,其优势是它与常规单元进行连接时不需要使用过渡单元,并且可以直接给出应力强度因子等断裂参数的高精度数值结果。最后,通过两个数值算例验证了本文方法的有效性。  相似文献

An elastic plate with a physically nonlinear inclusion of an arbitrary shape is considered. This plate is subjected to pure bending under the action of transverse forces and bending moments applied at the external boundary of the plate. There are no loads distributed over the surface. This paper shows the anti-plane crack problem of two bonded functionally graded material (FGM) strips. Each strip contains an arbitrarily oriented crack. The material properties of the strips are assumed in exponential forms varied in the direction normal to the interface. After employing the Fourier transforms, the unknowns are solved from the interface conditions, boundary conditions and the condition on the crack surfaces. The problem can then be reduced to a system of singular integral equations, which are solved numerically by applying the Gauss-Chebyshev integration formula to obtain the stress intensity factors at the crack tips. In the discussions, several degenerated problems are considered to demonstrate the influence of the non-homogeneous parameters, crack orientations, edge effects and the crack interactions on the normalized intensity factors. In general, the factors are larger when crack tips are located in stronger material. Also, the factors increase as the crack is oriented in the direction normal to the interface. The conclusions made in this research can be used to evaluate the safety of two bonded strips once the cracks exist inside the structure.  相似文献

An original iteration algorithm is used to construct new analytic expressions for computing approximate natural frequencies and shape modes of bending vibrations of a square homogeneous plate clamped along its contour. The errors are estimated by comparing with the results of well-known numerical high-precision computations. The results of analytic computations are also compared with experimental data obtained by the author by the resonance method. The proposed research technique and the obtained high-precision expressions for the natural shape modes can be used in the case of rectangular plates and for other types of boundary conditions. A numerical-analytical method is used to show that the small isoperimetric theorem holds.  相似文献
