The first two members in alkaline-earth/group XI/group XIII/chalcogen system, namely Ba(2)AgInS(4) and Ba(4)AgGa(5)Se(12), were synthesized along with a Li analogue Ba(4)LiGa(5)Se(12). Ba(2)AgInS(4) crystallizes in space group P2(1)/c. It contains [AgInS(4)](4-) layers built from AgS(3) triangles and InS(4) tetrahedra with Ba(2+) cations inserted between the layers. Ba(4)AgGa(5)Se(12) and Ba(4)LiGa(5)Se(12) adopt two closely-related structure types in space group P4[combining macron]2(1)c with structural difference originating from the different positions of Ag and Li in them. The three-dimensional framework in Ba(4)AgGa(5)Se(12) is composed of GaSe(4) tetrahedra with the Ba and Ag atoms occupying the large and small channels respectively, whereas that in Ba(4)LiGa(5)Se(12) is built from LiSe(4) and GaSe(4) tetrahedra with channels to accommodate the Ba atoms. As deduced from the diffuse reflectance spectra measurement, the optical band gaps were 2.32 (2) eV, 2.52 (2) eV, and 2.65 (2) eV for Ba(2)AgInS(4), Ba(4)AgGa(5)Se(12), and Ba(4)LiGa(5)Se(12), respectively.  相似文献

(R)- and (S)-alpha-phenylethylamine (alpha-PEA: 7) have been used separately to resolve successfully a racemate 2-formyl-1,4-DHP derivative 4. The process was based on the difference of the solubility of both Schiff bases (6) since one of them crystallized out from the solution. These imines obtained by condensation of (R)-alpha-PEA (7) or (S)-alpha-PEA (7) with aldehyde (rac-4) were separated and analyzed by X-ray diffraction, and their exposition to an hydrochloric hydrolysis conditions led to the enantiopure (4R)-4 or (4S)-4 in excellent yields. Separate condensation of other chiral (8 and 13) and racemic (18) amino thiols as auxiliary with rac-4, (4S)-4, or (4R)-4 is accompanied by an in situ crystallization-induced dynamic resolution, whereby one distereomer of thiazole template selectively precipitates and can be isolated by simple filtration in 76-82% yield with dr > 99. The thiazole species isolated from this process resulted from an amino aldehyde condensation followed by a spontaneous thiol-imine cycloaddition. Finally, the racemate (+/-)-(4R,2'R)-19 and the diastereomerically pure homologous (4S,2'R)-23 and (4R,2'S)-20 (obtained in good yields (79-82%) from 2-aminoethanethiol (18) and 2-formyl-1,4-DHP derivative rac-4, (4S)-4, or (4R)-4, respectively) were converted conveniently in a one-pot procedure into newly tricyclic thiolactams in the DHP series in racemic ((+/-)-(6R,9bR)-21, 72% yield)) and enantiopure ((6S,9bR)-24, 71% yield); (6R,9bS)-24, 70% yield) forms.  相似文献

Knudsen cell mass spectrometry was applied to the evaluation of the ionization efficiency curves for the ions originating from CoF(4) molecules. Cobalt tetrafluoride was obtained in the gas phase over the CoF(3)(s)-TbF(4)(s) system in the temperature range from 640 to 690 K. From the ionization efficiency curves the appearance energies of the ions formed from the CoF(4) molecules were determined by means of Vogt's deconvolution method. Clausius-Clapeyron plots for the ions from CoF(4) molecules were measured. Evaporation of pure CoF(3)(s) was carried out, and the appearance energies of the ions formed from CoF(3) molecules were determined. The ionization energies for CoF(4) and CoF(3) molecules were found to be (14.3 +/- 0.2) and (13.3 +/- 0.1) eV, respectively.  相似文献

(1→4)-α- and (1→4)-β-D-linked glucosidic oligosaccharide chains were generated by the Monte Carlo method, and the scattering from the systems composed of simulated chains was calculated to compare with the results of small-angle X-ray scattering from the oligosaccharides in aqueous solution. By extending the simulation to a longer chain, a single chain conformation of (1→4)-α- and (1→4)-β-D-linked polysaccharides was evaluated. On the basis of the simulation, the suprastructure of (1→4)-α- and (1→4)-β-D-linked polysaccharides and their gel formation mechanism were discussed in some detail by analyzing the small-angle X-ray scattering from the aqueous solutions of (1→4)-α- and (1→4)-β-D-linked polysaccharides.  相似文献

It is shown that the pseudo Jahn-Teller effect (PJTE) in combination with ab initio calculations explains the origin of instability of the planar configuration of tetrafluorocyclobutadiene, C(4)F(4), with respect to a puckered structure and square-to-rectangle distortion of the carbon ring, and rationalizes its difference from the planar-rectangular geometry of C(4)H(4) and nonplanar (puckered) structure of Si(4)H(4). The two types of instability and distortion of the high-symmetry D(4h) configuration in these systems emerge from the PJT coupling of the ground B(2g) state with the excited A(1g) term producing instability along the b(2g) coordinate (elongation of the carbon or silicon square ring), and with the excited E(g) term resulting in e(g) (puckering) distortion. A rhombic distortion b(1g) of the ring is also possible due to the coupling between excited A(1g) and B(1g) terms. For C(4)F(4), ab initio calculations of the energy profiles allowed us to evaluate the PJTE constants and to show that the two instabilities, square-to-tetragonal b(2g) and puckering e(g) coexist, thus explaining the origin of the observed geometry of this system in the ground state. The preferred cis-trans (e(g) type) puckering in C(4)F(4) versus trans-trans puckering (b(2u) distortion) in Si(4)H(4) follows from the differences in the energy gaps to their excited electronic E(g) and A(1u) terms causing different PJTE in these two cases.  相似文献

Gaseous Fe(4)S(n)(-) (n = 4-6) clusters and synthetic analogue complexes, Fe(4)S(4)L(n)(-) (L = Cl, Br, I; n = 1-4), were produced by laser vaporization of a solid Fe/S target and electrospray from solution samples, respectively, and their electronic structures were probed by photoelectron spectroscopy. Low binding energy features derived from minority-spin Fe 3d electrons were clearly distinguished from S-derived bands. We showed that the electronic structure of the simplest Fe(4)S(4)(-) cubane cluster can be described by the two-layer spin-coupling model previously developed for the [4Fe] cubane analogues. The photoelectron data revealed that each extra S atom in Fe(4)S(5)(-) and Fe(4)S(6)(-) removes two minority-spin Fe 3d electrons from the [4Fe--4S] cubane core and each halogen ligand removes one Fe 3d electron from the cubane core in the Fe(4)S(4)L(n)(-) complexes, clearly revealing a behavior of sequential oxidation of the cubane over five formal oxidation states: [4Fe--4S](-) --> [4Fe--4S](0) --> [4Fe--4S](+) --> [4Fe-4S](2+) --> [4Fe-4S](3+). The current work shows the electron-storage capability of the [4Fe--4S] cubane, contributes to the understanding of its electronic structure, and further demonstrates the robustness of the cubane as a structural unit and electron-transfer center.  相似文献

The 18 and 19 valence electron (VE) nitrosyl complexes [Fe(NO)('pyS4')]BF4 ([1]BF4) and [Fe(NO)('pyS4')] (2) have been synthesized from [Fe('pyS4')]x ('pyS4'(2-) = 2,6-bis(2-mercaptophenylthiomethyl)pyridine(2-)) and either NOBF4 or NO gas. Complex [1]BF4 was also obtained from [Fe(CO)('pyS4')] and NOBF4. The cation [1]+ is reversibly reduced to give 2. Oxidation of 2 by [Cp2Fe]PF6 afforded [Fe(NO)('pyS4')]PF6 ([1]PF6). The molecular structures of [1]PF6 and 2 were determined by X-ray crystallography. They demonstrate that addition of one electron to [1]+ causes a significant elongation of the Fe-donor atom bonds and a bending of the FeNO angle. Density functional calculations show that the unpaired electron in 2 occupies an orbital, which is antibonding with respect to all Fe-ligand interactions. As expected from qualitative Molecular Orbital (MO) theory, it has a large contribution from a pi* type NO orbital. The nu(NO) frequency decreases from 1893 cm(-1) in [1]BF4 to 1648 cm(-1) in 2 (in KBr). The antibonding character of the unpaired electron explains the ready reaction of 2 with excess NO to give [Fe(NO)2('pyS4')] (3), the facile NO/CO exchange of 2 to afford [Fe(CO)('pyS4')], and the easy oxidation of 2 to [1]+.  相似文献

The Zeeman effect in the (0,0) bands of the B(4)Γ(5∕2) - X(4)Φ(3∕2) system of titanium monohydride, TiH, and titanium monodeuteride, TiD, has been recorded and analyzed. Magnetic tuning of the spectral features recorded at high resolution (full width at half maximum ? 35 MHz) and at a field strength of 4.5 kG is accurately modeled using an effective Zeeman Hamiltonian. The determined magnetic g-factors for the X(4)Φ(3∕2) (v = 0) state deviate only slightly from those expected for an isolated (4)Φ(3∕2) state whereas those for the B(4)Γ(5∕2)(v = 0) deviate significantly from those of an isolated (4)Γ(5∕2) state. The rotational dependence of the magnetic tuning in the B(4)Γ(5∕2)(v = 0) state is attributed to perturbations from a nearby (4)Φ state.  相似文献

Selective synthesis of monazite- and zircon-type LaVO(4) nanocrystals   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Pure monoclinic (m-) and tetragonal phased (t-) LaVO(4) nanocrystals could be obtained by a hydrothermal method in a controllable way with additives. It is found that chelating ligands, such as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid [EDTA or H(4)L, where L(4-) = (CH(2)COO)(2)N(CH(2))(2)N(CH(2)COO)(2)(4-)], favor the formation of t-LaVO(4) and can induce the polymorph transformation from stable m-LaVO(4) to metastable t-LaVO(4). Further studies demonstrated the important roles of chelating ligands in this transformation process. Careful investigation over the phase transition from t- to m-LaVO(4) was also conducted with high-temperature X-ray diffraction (HTXRD) studies. The phase transition occurred at 850 degrees C, which is about 250 degrees C higher than for the bulk. The enhanced thermal stability of the nanosized metastable t-LaVO(4) may come from the small size effect. Our capability of obtaining and stabilizing t-LaVO(4) not only benefits the wider applications based on LaVO(4) due to the improved luminescent and catalytic performance but also provides a new idea in the studies of polymorph control and selective synthesis of inorganic materials.  相似文献

Two oxime-cyclophosphazenes were prepared from hexakis(4-formylphenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene (2) and hexakis(4-acetylphenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene (7). The reactions of these oximes with benzyl chloride, benzenesulfanoyl chloride, benzoyl chloride, 4-methoxybenzoyl chloride and 2-chlorobenzoyl chloride were studied. Hexa and pentasubstituted compounds were obtained from the reaction of hexakis(4-[(hydroxyimino)methyl]phenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene (3) with benzyl chloride (4) and benzoyl chloride, respectively. However, the oxime groups on 3 rearranged to nitrile (5) in the reaction of 3 with benzenesulfanoyl chloride and 1-napthalenesulfanoyl chloride. Hexasubstituted compounds were also obtained from the reactions of hexakis(4-[(1)-N-hydroxyethaneimidoyl]phenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene (8) with benzoyl chloride (10), 4-methoxybenzoyl chloride (11) and 2-chlorobenzoyl chloride (12). A trisubstituted compound was obtained from the reaction of 8 with benzyl chloride (9). All the products were generally obtained in high yields. Pure and defined products could not be obtained from the reaction of 3 with 4-methoxybenzoyl chloride and 2-chlorobenzoyl chloride. The structures of the compounds were defined by elemental analysis, IR, 1H, 13C and 31P NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

In the course of comparing the reaction chemistry of (C5Me5)3U, 1, and its slightly less crowded analogue (C5Me4H)3U, 2, new syntheses of UI3, (C5Me4H)3U, (C5Me4H)3UCl, 3, and (C5Me5)3UCl, 4, have been developed. Additionally, (C5Me4H)3UI, 5, and (C5Me4H)2UCl2, 6, have been identified for the first time. A facile synthesis of unsolvated UI3 is reported that proceeds in high yield with inexpensive equipment from iodine and hot uranium turnings. Both UI3 and UI3(THF)4 react with KC5Me4H in toluene to make unsolvated (C5Me4H)3U in higher yield than in previous reports that involve reduction of tetravalent (C5Me4H)3UCl, 3. A more atom-efficient synthesis of complex 3 is also reported that proceeds from reduction of t-BuCl, PhCl, or HgCl2 by 2. Similarly, (C5Me4H)3U reacts with PhI or HgI2 to generate (C5Me4H)3UI. These studies also provided a basis to improve the synthesis of (C5Me5)3UCl from 1 by employing t-BuCl or HgCl2 as the halide source. Like (C5Me5)3UCl, the (C5Me4H)3UCl complex reacts with HgCl2 to form (C5Me4H)2 and (C5Me4H)2UCl2, 6, but unlike (C5Me5)3UX (X = Cl or I), the less substituted (C5Me4H)3UX complexes do not reduce t-BuCl or PhX. The synthesis of 6 from (C5Me4H)MgCl x THF and UCl4 is also included.  相似文献

Electronic origin for nonresonant enhancement of nonlinear optical response in the complexes formed from tetraalkylammonium halide and carbon tetrabromide is provided in view of electrostatic potentials of intermolecular donor (halide ion)-acceptor (CBr(4)). The calculated electrostatic potentials of donor-acceptor range from -4.83 to -7.70 kcal mol(-1) and show a decreasing order of [Et(4)Cl(-)Br] > [Et(4)Br(-)Br] congruent with [Et(4)I(-)Br] > [Bu(4)Br(-)Br]. The calculated second-order susceptibilities of solid complexes are in an increasing order of [NEt(4)ClCBr(4)] < [NEt(4)BrCBr(4)] congruent with [NEt(4)ICBr(4)] < [NBu(4)BrCBr(4)C(3)H(6)O]. It has been shown that the donor/acceptor dyads make the exclusive contribution to nonlinear optical response. A large size of halide or tetraalkylammonium ion results in a small electrostatic potential and large nonlinear optical response in these charge-transfer complexes. It indicates that a small supermolecular interaction will create a large nonlinear optical response, and it gives a clue to design the molecular complexes with large non-linear optical susceptibility.  相似文献

The interactions between cationic meso-tetrakis(4-(N-methylpyridiumyl))porphyrin (TMPyP4) and the G-quadruplex (G4) of human telomeric single-strand oligonucleotide d(TTAGGG)2 (S12) have been investigated by means of circular dichroism (CD), UV–visible absorption and fluorescence spectroscopies. It is found that TMPyP4 can preferentially induce the conformational conversion of the G4 structure from the parallel type to the parallel/antiparallel mixture in the presence of K+, and that it can directly induce the formation of antiparallel G4 structure from the single-strand oligonucleotide S12 in the absence of K+. Furthermore, the comparable experiments of TMPyP4 with two single-strand oligonucleotides S6 d(TTAGGG) and S24 d(TAGGG(TTAGGG)3T) in the absence of K+ show that TMPyP4 can also induce the formation of antiparallel G4 from S24 but not from S6, indicating that the end-loops of the G4 structure are the key factors for the formation of G4 induced by TMPyP4.  相似文献

Four enantiomerically pure new alpha-tetralones, (4S)- and (4R)-5-hydroxy-4-methoxy-alpha-tetralones and (4S)- and (4R)-5,8-dihydroxy-4-methoxy-alpha-tetralones were isolated, together with five known ones, (4S)- and (4R)-4,8-dihydroxy-alpha-tetralones, (4S)-4,8-dihydroxy-5-methoxy-alpha-tetralone and (4S)- and (4R)-4-hydroxy-alpha-tetralones, from the fruit of Juglans mandshurica MAXIM. var. sieboldiana MAKINO. Their structures were established on the basis of spectral analysis. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first isolation of the (4R)-4-hydroxy-alpha-tetralone derivative from Juglans species.  相似文献

The ternary Fe (III)-OH(-)-SO4(2-) complexes have been investigated at 25 degrees C in 3 M NaClO4 by potentiometric titration with glass electrode. The metal and sulfate concentrations ranged from 2.5 x 10(-3) to 0.03 M and from 5.10(-3) to 0.060 M, respectively. [H+] was decreased from 0.05 M to incipient precipitation of basic sulfate which occured at log[H+] between -2.3 and -2.5 depending on the concentration of the metal. For the interpretation of the data stability constants of HSO4(-), of binary hydroxo complexes (FeOH2+, Fe(OH)2+, Fe2(OH)2(4+), Fe3(OH)4(5+), Fe3(OH)5(4+)) and of sulfate complexes (FeSO4+, FeHSO4(2+), Fe(SO4)2-) were assumed from independent sources. The data are consistent with the presence of FeOHSO4, log beta 1-11 = -0.49 +/- 0.03. Equilibrium constants are defined as beta pqr for pFe3+ +qH+ +rSO4(2-) [symbol: see text] FepHq(SO4)r3p+q-2r. No substantial better fit could be found by adding a second mixed complex. Only a slightly smaller agreement factor resulted introducing as minor ternary complex Fe3(OH)6(SO4)3(3-) with log beta 3-63 = -5.8 +/- 0.5. Its evidence, however, cannot be considered conclusive.  相似文献

The three novel clusters [Mn6O4(OMe)2(OAc)4(Mesalim)4] (3), [Mn8O2(OH)2(OMe)12(OAc)2(Mesalim)4] (4), and [Fe10O4(OMe)14Cl2(Mesalim)6] (5) have been synthesized from a simple bidentate ligand HMesalim (HMesalim = methyl salicylimidate). Starting from the mononuclear complex [Mn(Mesalim)2(OAc)(MeOH)].MeOH (1), either the hexanuclear complex 3 or the octanuclear complex 4 is obtained after recrystallization, depending upon the reaction conditions and solvents used. Similarly, starting from the purple-colored mononuclear complex [Fe(Mesalim)2Cl] (2), the orange-colored decanuclear iron(III) cluster 5 has been obtained upon recrystallization from methanol. Complex 3, which could also be prepared directly from manganese acetate and the ligand, has a face-sharing double-cubane [Mn6O6] core, unique in transition metal chemistry. Compounds 4 and 5 are composed of [M3O4] partial cubanes. All complexes belong to a class of oxo-bridged cubic close-packed molecular clusters resembling the metal oxide/hydroxide ores. Complex 4 exhibits intramolecular ferromagnetic interactions, as evidenced from dc magnetic susceptibility studies (1.8-300 K), resulting in a high-spin ground state, probably with S(T) = 8. Complex 4 displays single molecule magnet behavior as indicated by frequency and temperature dependences of its ac susceptibility. An Arrhenius plot gave relatively large experimental activation energy of 36.0 K. The magnetic properties of complexes 3 and 5 are dominated by antiferromagnetic interactions leading to zero-spin ground states.  相似文献

A method based on ion chromatography (IC) and inductively coupled plasma MS (ICP-MS) was developed for the speciation of arsenic in water and soil extracts. An anion-exchange column (G3154A/101) was used to separate As(III), As(V), dimethylarsinic acid (DMA), and monomethylarsonic acid (MMA) with excellent resolution. Various ammonium salts, including NH4H2PO4, (NH4)2HPO4, (NH4)2CO3, and NH4HCO3, were examined as eluents to reduce matrix interference from chloride and to solve clogging problems. The best arsenic speciation was obtained within 9 min with excellent resolution and without interference from high chloride concentrations using an eluent containing 7.5 mM (NH4)2HPO4 at pH 7.9. The detection limits for the target arsenic species ranged from 0.1 to 0.4 microg/L with direct injection of sample without matrix elimination. The proposed method was effectively demonstrated by determining arsenic species in contaminated waters and soils of Bangladesh.  相似文献
