For the Weyl solutions(z, x) of the Schrödinger and Dirac equations, asymptotics for |z| are obtained. This gives a possibility of selecting Weyl solutions by their behaviour when |z| . Some applications are given.  相似文献

Recently, certain higher-dimensional complex manifolds were obtained by S. Govindarajan [1] by associating a higher dimensional uniformisation to the generalised Teichmüller spaces of Hitchin. The extra dimensions are provided by the times of the generalised KdV hierarchy. In this Letter, we complete the proof that these manifolds provide the analog of superspace for W-gravity and that W-symmetry linearises on these spaces. This is done by explicitly constructing the relationship between the Beltrami differentials which naturally occur in the higher-dimensional manifolds and the Beltrami differentials which occur in W-gravity. This also resolves an old puzzle regarding the relationship between KdV flow. and W-diffeomorphisms.Dedicated to the memory of Claude Itzykson.  相似文献

We present a systematic method to produce a class of exact solutions of the dispersionless KP equation, using the conservation equations derived from the semi-classical limit of the KP theory. We prove that the correlation functions of a system of chiral fermions on a compact Riemann surface are determined by postulating their behaviour at coincident points and a principle of maximal analyticity. The proof proceeds by a reformulation as a problem of sheaf cohomology. Wick's theorem and the Fay identities are rigorous consequences of our analysis.  相似文献

In this paper we analyze the Cauchy problem for the Einstein equation in the case of a non-characteristic initial hypersurface. To find the correct notions for the characteristic and Cauchy data we introduce a complex, which we call the Einstein complex. Then the Cauchy problem acquires correctness in terms of the associated spectral sequence. We define the Cauchy data in such way that they allow us to reconstruct a cohomologously unique formal solution.  相似文献

The inverse scattering problem on the half-axis is solved for scattering matrices which result from scattering on a zero-range potential with an internal structure. The solutions are constructed as pointwise limits of Bargmann potentials and form a one-parameter family. We obtain a class of potentials decreasing slowly at infinity.  相似文献

Any elliptic curve can be realised in the tangent bundle of the complex projective line as a double cover branched at four distinct points on the zero section. Such a curve generates, via classical osculation duality, a null curve in C3C3 and thus an algebraic minimal surface in R3R3. The (n+1)-dimensional differential geometric generalization of the sine-Gordon equation (SGE) given by Tenenblat and Terng is solved explicitly in the casen=2 to obtain a one-soliton solution. The solution yields the soliton solution of the (1+1)-dimensional SGE in the limit as one of the three independent variables approaches infinity. In this Letter, a Lagrangian foliation of the zero energy level is constructed for a family of planar central force problems. The dynamics on the leaves are explicitly computed and these dynamics are given a simple interpretation in terms of the dynamics near the singularity of the potential. Lagrangian submanifolds also arise when seeking asymptotic solutions to certain partial differential equations with a large parameter. In determining such solutions, an operator between half densities on the Lagrangian submanifold and half densities on the configuration space is computed. This operator is derived for the given example, and the corresponding first order asymptotic solution to the reduced Schrödinger equation is given.  相似文献

A new super Toda lattice hierarchy is proposed and formulated in the language of differential algebra. AD-module structure is shown to exist behind this nonlinear system and to play the same role as a similarD-module for the super KP hierarchy. From the structure of thisD-module, one can indeed see a direct connection with a set of affine coordinates on an infinite-dimensional super Grassmannian manifold. These affine coordinates are the basic ingredients of an intrinsic construction of functions as well as symmetries.  相似文献

The Miura and anti-Miura transformations between the q-deformed KP and the q-deformed modified KP hierarchies are investigated in this paper. Then the auto-Backlund transformations for the q-deformed KP and q-deformed modified KP hierarchies are constructed through the combinations of the Miura and anti-Miura transformations. A stochastic model of the continuous counting nondemolition measurement of photons emitted by an excited atom in a quantum electromagnetic field is given. We show that the governing equations for two-dimensional water waves with constant vorticity can be formulated as a canonical Hamiltonian system, in which one of the canonical variables is the surface elevation. We study biwave maps and equivariant biwave maps. We obtain the formulations for equivariant biwave maps into various spaces by applying eigenmaps between spheres. We compute the biwave fields of inclusions into warped product manifolds and construct examples of biwave maps.
