We study the Mackey structure of the G-spectrum K G C associated to a monoidal G-category C. It is proved that the coefficient system of K G C coincides, as a (graded) Mackey functor, with the system of equivariant K-groups in the sense of Fröhlich and Wall. It is also shown that for any exact category U, there exists a G-spectrum Q G U representing the equivariant K-theory of U in the sense of Dress and Kuku, and that Q G U is naturally G-homotopy equivalent to K G IsoU if every short exact sequence in U splits.  相似文献

We define the Volodin hermitian algebraic K-theory for a (discrete) ring with an involution and show that it is isomorphic to Karoubi's hermitian algebraic K-theory. We also construct the Volodin model X(R *) of hermitian algebraic K-theory for a simplicial ring R * and show that it is a homotopy fiber of the map B Ô(R *)B Ô(R *)+. We also prove the general linear version of this result, which has been claimed in the existing literature, but whose proof was overlooked.  相似文献

The general quadratic group GQ 2n and its elementary subgroup EQ 2n are analogs in the theory of quadratic forms of the general linear group GL n and its elementary subgroup E n . This article proves that the stabilization map GQ 2n /EQ 2n GQ 2(n+1) /EQ 2(n+1) is an isomorphism whenever n +1 and S denotes the -stable rank of rings with anti-involution. As a corollary, a result is obtained which has been anticipated since the late 1960s: over rings of finite Bass–Serre dimension d, the stabilization map is an isomorphism whenever n d + 2.  相似文献

In our previous paper [5], we have obtained a decomposition of f, where f is a function defined on R d , that is analogous to the one proved by H. Tanaka in the early sixties for Brownian martingales (the so-called Tanaka formula). The original proofs use purely analytic methods (e.g. the Calderón–Zygmund theory, etc.). In this paper, we give a new proof of our `Tanaka formula in analysis, that is based on probabilistic arguments. The main tools here are Brownian motion, stochastic calculus and Burkholder–Gundy inequalities for martingales. These methods allow us to improve somewhat our previous results, by proving that some significant constants do not depend on the dimension d.  相似文献

Let A be a separable nuclear C + algebra with unit. Let be a closed two-sided ideal in A. A relative K homology group K 0(A,) is defined. Closely related are topological definitions of properly supported K homology and of compactly supported relative K homology. It is known that the limit Area/Length for a sequence of convex sets expanding over the whole hyperbolic plane is less than or equal 1, and exactly 1 when the sets considered are convex with respect to horocycles. For a cardinal , we say that a subset B of a space X is C -compact in X if for every continuous function is a compact subset of . If B is a C-compact subset of a space X, then (B, X) denotes the degree of C -compactness of B in X. A space X is called -pseudocompact if X is C -compact into itself. For each cardinal , we give an example of an -pseudocompact space X such that X × X is not pseudocompact: this answers a question posed by T. Retta in Some cardinal generalizations of pseudocompactness Czechoslovak Math. J. 43 (1993), 385–390. The boundedness of the product of two bounded subsets is studied in some particular cases. A version of the classical Glicksberg's Theorem on the pseudocompactness of the product of two spaces is given in the context of boundedness. We study geometric properties of -automorphisms of a Riemannian foliationF which is not harmonic. This notion was first introduced in [KTT] for the case whereF is harmonic. Transversal Killing, affine, conformal, projective fields are all examples of -automorphisms. We derive several general identities for a -automorphism. In particular, we extend the results on the transversal conformal and Killing fields obtained in [PrY], [NY1,2]. For a complete first order theory of Boolean algebras T which has nonisomorphic countable models, we determine the first limit ordinal = (T) such that We show that for some and for all other Ts, A nonprincipal ideal I of B is almost principal, if a is a principal ideal of B} is a maximal ideal of B. The purpose of this paper is to study coproducts in the category MFrm (resp. McFrm), of metric -frames and uniform (resp. contractive) -frame maps. First, by applying the same technic that was used to find coproducts in Frm, we construct coproducts in the category Frm of -frames and -frame maps.
