A hierarchy of nonlinear lattice soliton equations is derived from a new discrete spectral problem. The Hamiltonian structure of the resulting hierarchy is constructed by using a trace identity formula. Moreover, a Darboux transformation is established with the help of gauge transformations of Lax pairs for the typical lattice soliton equations. The exact solutions are given by applying the Darboux transformation.  相似文献

We tackle the problem of interpreting the Darboux transformation for the KP hierarchy and its relations with the modified KP hierarchy from a geometric point of view. This is achieved by introducing the concept of a Darboux covering. We construct a Darboux covering of the KP equations and obtain a new hierarchy of equations, which we call the Darboux-KP hierarchy (DKP). We employ the DKP equations to discuss the relationships among the KP equations, the modified KP equations, and the discrete KP equations. Our approach also handles the various reductions of the KP hierarchy. We show that the KP hierarchy is a projection of the DKP, the mKP hierarchy is a DKP restriction to a suitable invariant submanifold, and that the discrete KP equations are obtained as iterations of the DKP ones. Starting from a new discrete iso-spectral problem, we derive a hierarchy of Hamiltonian lattice equations. A Darboux transformation is established for the lattice soliton hierarchy. As applications, the soliton solutions of resulted lattice hierarchy are given.  相似文献

In this paper, a discrete KdV equation that is related to the famous continuous KdV equation is studied. First, an integrable discrete KdV hierarchy is constructed, from which several new discrete KdV equations are obtained. Second, we correspond the first several discrete equations of this hierarchy to the continuous KdV equation through the continuous limit. Third, the generalized (m, 2Nm)-fold Darboux transformation of the discrete KdV equation is established based on its known Lax pair. Finally, the diverse exact solutions including soliton solutions, rational solutions and mixed solutions on non-zero seed background are obtained by applying the resulting Darboux transformation, and their asymptotic states and physical properties such as amplitude, velocity, phase and energy are analyzed. At the same time, some soliton solutions are numerically simulated to show their dynamic behaviors. The properties and results obtained in this paper may be helpful to understand some physical phenomena described by KdV equations.  相似文献

A new discrete spectral problem is introduced and the corresponding hierarchy of the lattice soliton equations are derived by means of the trace identity. We find a new Darboux transformation of the lattice soliton equation, through which the explicit solutions are shown.  相似文献

We present integral-type Darboux transformation for the mKdV hierarchy and for the mKdV hierarchy withself-consistent sources. In contrast with the normal Darboux transformation, the integral-type Darboux transformationscan offer non-auto-Backlund transformation between two (2n 1)-th mKdV equations with self-consistent sources withdifferent degrees. This kind of Darboux transformation enables us to construct the N-soliton solution for the mKdVhierarchy with self-consistent sources. We also propose the formulas for the m times repeated integral-type Darbouxtransformations for both mKdV hierarchy and mKdV hierarchy with self-consistent sources.  相似文献

In this Letter, the Darboux transformation for the non-isospectral AKNS hierarchy is constructed. We show that the Darboux transformation for the non-isospectral AKNS hierarchy is not an auto-Bäcklund transformation, because the integral constants of the hierarchy will be changed after the transformation. The transform rule of the integral constants will be also derived. By this means, the soliton solutions of the nonlinear equations derived by the non-isospectral AKNS hierarchy can be found.  相似文献

By embedding a free function into a compatible zero curvature equation, we enlarge the original differential-difference hierarchy into a new hierarchy with the free function which still admits zero curvature representation. The new hierarchy not only includes the original hierarchy, but also the well-known relativistic Toda hierarchy and the Volterra hierarchy as special reductions by properly choosing the free function. Infinitely many conservation laws and Darboux transformation for a representative differential-difference system are constructed based on its Lax representation. The exact solutions follow by applying the Darboux transformation.  相似文献

We propose and develop another approach to constructing multi-soliton solutions of an integrable two-component Camassa–Holm(CH2)system.With the help of a reciprocal transformation and a gauge transformation,we relate the CH2 system to a negative flow of the Broer–Kaup or twoboson hierarchy. The solutions of this negative flow are given in terms of Wronskians via Darboux transformation. Then the multi-soliton solutions of the CH2 system are recovered in parametric form by inverting the reciprocal transformation and the gauge transformation.  相似文献

A new (2+1)-dimensional lattice equation is presented based upon the first two members in the hierarchy of the combined Toda lattice and relativistic Toda lattice (TL-RTL) equations in (1+1) dimensions. A Darboux transformation for the hierarchy of the combined TL-RTL equations is constructed. Solutions of the first two members in the hierarchy of the combined TL-RTL equations, as well as the new (2+1)-dimensional lattice equation are explicitly obtained by the Darboux transformation.  相似文献

Vertex operators, which are disguised Darboux maps, transform solutions of the KP equation into new ones. In this paper, we show that the bi-infinite sequence obtained by Darboux transforming an arbitrary KP solution recursively forward and backwards, yields a solution to the discrete KP-hierarchy. The latter is a KP hierarchy where the continuous space $x$-variable gets replaced by a discrete $n$-variable. The fact that these sequences satisfy the discrete KP hierarchy is tantamount to certain bilinear relations connecting the consecutive KP solutions in the sequence. At the Grassmannian level, these relations are equivalent to a very simple fact, which is the nesting of the associated infinite-dimensional planes (flag). The discrete KP hierarchy can thus be viewed as a container for an entire ensemble of vertex or Darboux generated KP solutions. It turns out that many new and old systems lead to such discrete (semi-infinite) solutions, like sequences of soliton solutions, with more and more solitons, sequences of Calogero–Moser systems, having more and more particles, just to mention a few examples; this is developed in [3]. In this paper, as another example, we show that the q-KP hierarchy maps, via a kind of Fourier transform, into the discrete KP hierarchy, enabling us to write down a very large class of solutions to the q-KP hierarchy. This was also reported in a brief note [4]. Received: 27 August 1998 / Accepted: 24 November 1998  相似文献

An explicit N-fold Darboux transformation for evolution equations determined by general 2×2 AKNS system is constructed. By using the Darboux transformation, the solutions of the evolution equations are reduced to solving alinear algebraic system, from which a unified and explicit formulation of 2N-soliton solutions for the evolution equation are given. Furthermore, a reduction technique for MKdV equation is presented, and an N-fold Darboux transformation of MKdV hierarchy is constructed through the reduction technique. A Maple package which can entirely automatically output the exact N-soliton solutions of the MKdV equation is developed.  相似文献

The coupled semi-discrete modified Korteweg-de Vries equation in (2 1)-dimensions is proposed. It is shown that it can be decomposed into two (1 1)-dimensional differential-difference equations belonging to mKdV lattice hierarchy by considering a discrete isospectral problem. A Darboux transformation is set up for the resulting (2 1)- dimensional lattice soliton equation with the help of gauge transformations of Lax pairs. As an illustration by example, the soliton solutions of the mKdV lattice equation in (2 1)-dimensions are explicitly given.  相似文献

The Darboux transformations in 1+2-dimensional space are constructed, with a discussion of their composition and permutability. The auto-Bäcklund property of the Darboux transformation for the N x N system and KP hierarchy is also proved.  相似文献

We reveal the origin and structure of self-consistent source extensions of integrable equations from the perspective of binary Darboux transformations. They arise via a deformation of the potential that is central in this method. As examples, we obtain in particular matrix versions of self-consistent source extensions of the KdV, Boussinesq, sine-Gordon, nonlinear Schrödinger, KP, Davey–Stewartson, two-dimensional Toda lattice and discrete KP equation. We also recover a (2+1)-dimensional version of the Yajima–Oikawa system from a deformation of the pKP hierarchy. By construction, these systems are accompanied by a hetero binary Darboux transformation, which generates solutions of such a system from a solution of the source-free system and additionally solutions of an associated linear system and its adjoint. The essence of all this is encoded in universal equations in the framework of bidifferential calculus.  相似文献

We propose a reverse-space nonlocal nonlinear self-dual network equation under special symmetry reduction, which may have potential applications in electric circuits.Nonlocal infinitely many conservation laws are constructed based on its Lax pair.Nonlocal discrete generalized(m,N?m)-fold Darboux transformation is extended and applied to solve this system. As an application of the method,we obtain multi-soliton solutions in zero seed background via the nonlocal discrete N-fold Darboux transformation and rational solutions from nonzero-seed background via the nonlocal discrete generalized(1,N?1)-fold Darboux transformation, respectively.By using the asymptotic and graphic analysis, structures of one-,two-,three-and four-soliton solutions are shown and discussed graphically. We find that single component field in this nonlocal system displays unstable soliton structure whereas the combined potential terms exhibit stable soliton structures. It is shown that the soliton structures are quite different between discrete local and nonlocal systems. Results given in this paper may be helpful for understanding the electrical signals propagation.  相似文献

A hierarchy of new nonlinear evolution equations associated with a 2?2 matrix spectral problem is derived. One of the nontrivial equations in this hierarchy is the famous Sharma-Tasso-Olver equation. Then infinitely many conservation laws of this equation are deduced. Darboux transformation for the Sharma-Tasso-Olver equation is constructed with the aid of a gauge transformation.  相似文献

The derivative versions of Toda equation are produced from the Lax triad composed of the Kaup-Newell and negative Kaup-Newell spectral problems and a new discrete eigenvalue problem. With the help of decomposition and the Darboux transformation, explicit solutions of these derivative Toda equations are obtained.  相似文献

By considering a new discrete isospectral eigenvalue problem, two hierarchies of integrable positive and negative lattice models are derived. It is shown that they correspond to positive and negative power expansions of Lax operators with respect to the spectral parameter, respectively. And, each equation in the resulting hierarchies is integrable in Liouville sense. Moreover, a Darboux transformation is established for the typical equations by using gauge transformations of Lax pairs, from which the exact solutions are given.  相似文献
