The effect of promoter Ce on the catalytic performance of Ni/Al2O3 catalyst for autothermal reforming of methane to hydrogen was investigated. The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), temperature-programmed reduction (TPR), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The results indicated that the catalytic performance of the catalysts was improved with the addition of Ce. Ni/Ce30Al70Oδ showed the highest CH4 conversion in operation temperatures ranging from 650 ℃ to 850 ℃. At the same time, the decrease in H2/CO ratio with increasing reaction temperature was consistent with the fact that water-gas shift reaction was thermodynamically unfavorable at higher temperatures. The XRD result indicated that adding Ce to Ni/Al2O3 catalyst prevented the formation of NiAl2O4 and facilitated the formation of NiO. The formation of NiO increased the number of active sites, resulting in higher activity. Comparing the TPR profiles of Ni/Ce30Al70Oδ with Ni/Al2O3, it could be clearly observed that with the addition of Ce, the total reduction peak areas in the middle and low temperatures increased. It was most probably that the addition of Ce inhibited the stronger interaction between Ni and Al2O3 to form the phase of NiAl2O4, and favored the formation of the strong interaction between NiO species and CeO2. The Ni/CeO2-ZrO2-Al2O3 catalyst with different Al2O3 and NiO contents were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis method. The catalytic performance for CO2 reforming of CH4 reaction, the interaction among components and the relation between Ni content and catalyst surface basicity were investigated. Results show that the interaction between NiO and Al2O3 is stronger than that between NiO and CeO2-ZrO2.The addition of Al2O3 can prevent the formation of large metallic Ni ensembles, increase the dispersion of Ni, and improve catalytic activity, but excess Al2O3 causes the catalyst to deactivate easily. The interaction between NiO and CeO2 results in more facile reduction of surface CeO2. The existence of a small amount of metallic Ni can increase the number of basic sites. As metallic Ni may preferentially reside on the strong basic sites, increasing Ni content can weaken the catalyst basicity. 相似文献

在连续流动的固定床反应装置上,考察了Ni/Al2O3催化剂上CH4三重整反应中催化剂床层的温度分布。实验在常压、750℃~950℃、2000h-1~20000h-1下进行,研究了外控炉温、空速和进料组成对催化剂床层温度分布的影响。结果表明,催化剂床层中的温度梯度较甲烷部分氧化反应平缓,在CH4/CO2/H2O/O2=50/12.5/12.5/25(摩尔比)、20000h-1下,催化剂床层中入口处温度比炉温高约80℃,出口处温度与器壁温度相当。空速越低,催化剂床层入口处温度(tmax)与炉温之差Δtmax越小(20000h-1时,Δtmax=80℃;2000h-1时,Δtmax=30℃)。当原料气中不含O2时,催化剂床层入口处没有观测到温度骤升的现象。催化剂床层温度分布出现“低谷”现象,温度最低点(tmin)比炉温低30℃~40℃。根据温度分布曲线,大体可将催化剂床层分为三个区域:富氧区、贫氧区和无氧区。富氧区内只发生燃烧反应,贫氧区内发生重整反应和部分氧化反应,无氧区内只发生重整反应。 相似文献

The influence of calcination temperature on the structure and catalytic behavior of Ni/TiO2-SiO2 catalyst, for CO2 reforming of methane to synthesis gas under atmospheric pressure, was investigated. The results showed that the Ni/TiO2-SiO2 catalyst calcined at 700 ℃ had high and stable activity while the catalysts calcined at 550 and 850 ℃ had low and unstable activity. Depending on the calcination temperature, one, two, or three of the following Ni-containing species, NiO, Ni2.44Ti0.72Si0.07O4, and NiTiO3 were identified by combining the temperature programmed reduction (TPR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) results. Their reducibility decreased in the sequence: NiO〉Ni2.44Ti0.72Si0.07O4〉NiTiO3. It suggests that high and stable activities observed over the Ni/TiO2-SiO2 catalyst calcined at 700 ~C were induced by the formation of Ni2.44Ti0.72Si0.07O4 and smaller NiO species crystallite size. 相似文献

CeO2 oxygen carrier was prepared by precipitation method and tested by two-step steam reforming of methane (SRM). Two-step SRM for hydrogen and syngas generation is investigated in a fixed-bed reactor. Methane is directly converted to syngas at a H2/CO ratio close to 2 : 1 at a high temperature (above 750 °C) by the lattice oxygen of CeO2; methane cracking is found when the reduction degree of CeO2 was above 5.0% at 850 °C in methane isothermal reaction. CeO2?δ obtained from methane isothermal reaction can split water to generate CO-free hydrogen and renew its lattice oxygen at 700 °C; simultaneously, deposited carbon is selectively oxidized to CO2 by steam following the reaction (C+2H2O→CO2+2H2). Slight deactivation in terms of amounts of desired products (syngas and hydrogen) is observed in ten repetitive two-step SRM process due to the carbon deposition on CeO2 surface as well as sintering of CeO2. 相似文献

The Ni/CeO2 -ZrO2 -Al2O3 catalyst was prepared with the hydrothermal method. The catalytic performance for the CO2 reforming of CH4 reaction with or without small amount of steam was tested and the amount of coke deposition was measured. The XAFS of Ni K-edge was attained. The results show that the formation of CeAlO3 occurs in reaction,but the coke deposition is responsible for the deactivation of the catalyst. The addition of steam into feed gas can decrease the amount of coke deposition,and promote the stability. Due to the carbon atom penetration into the Ni lattice,for the catalyst sample after reaction without the addition of steam into feed gas,the coordination number of the first Ni-Ni shell decreases sharply. For the catalyst sample after reaction with the addition of steam in feed gas,the coordination numbers of the first Ni-Ni shell decrease slightly. It is due to the addition of steam into feed gas,which can suppress the coke formation and maintain the metallic structure of active Ni metal. 相似文献

CO2 reforming of methane (CDRM) was carried out over MgO supported Ni catalysts with various Ni loadings. The preparation of MgO supported Ni catalysts via surfactant-assisted precipitation method led to the formation of a nanocrystalline carrier for nickel catalysts. The synthesized samples were characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption, H2 chemisorption, TPR, TPO and SEM techniques. It was found that the high catalytic activity and stability of the prepared catalysts could be attributable to high dispersion of reduced Ni species and basicity of support surface. In addition, the effect of feed ratio, nickel loading and GHSV on the catalytic performance of CDRM over the catalysts were investigated. 相似文献

A series of Ni/SBA-15 catalysts with Ni contents from 7.5 wt% to 15 wt% were prepared by impregnation method. The effect of O2 and H2O on the combined reforming of the simulated biogas to syngas was investigated in a continuous flow fixed-bed micro-reactor. The stability of the catalyst was tested at 800 ℃. The results indicated that 10 wt%Ni/SBA-15 catalyst exhibited the highest catalytic activities for the combined reforming of the simulated biogas to syngas. Under the reaction conditions of the feed gas molar ratios CH4/CO2/O2/H2O = 2/1/0.6/0.6, GHSV = 24000 ml•g{cat}-1\cdoth-1 and the reaction temperatureT = 800 ℃, the conversions of CH4 and CO2 were 92.8% and 76.3%, respectively, and the yields of CO and H2 were 99.0% and 82.0%, respectively. The catalytic activities of the catalyst did not decrease obviously after 100 h reaction time on stream. 相似文献

Nickel-alumina catalysts supported on cordierite monoliths of honeycomb structure surpass essentially the conventional granulated ones with respect to the output in carbon dioxide reforming of methane. Adjusting the surface acid-base properties of catalysts by introduction of alkali metal (Na, K) oxides inhibits the carbonization and as a result, improves the operational stability of these catalysts. An effect of promotion of nickel-alumina based composite doped by lanthanum oxide is found. This effect, caused by an additional route for the CO2 activation on Ni-La2O3/Al2O3/cordierite catalyst, is displayed in increase of methane conversion under conditions of an oxidant excess. 相似文献

A series of Ni/SBA-15 catalysts with Ni contents ranging from 5wt% to 20wt% as well as 10wt%Ni/10wt?xZn-xO2/SBA-15 (z=0, 0.5, 1) were prepared. The structures of the catalysts were characterized using XRD, TPR, TEM and BET techniques. The catalytic activities of the catalysts for steam reforming of methane were evaluated in a continuous flow microreactor. The results indicated that both the Ni/SBA-15 and the Ni/CexZr1-xO2/SBA-15 catalysts had good catalytic activities at atmospheric pressure. The 10wt%Ni/SBA-15 catalyst exhibited excellent stability at 800癈 for time on stream of 740 h. After the reaction, carbon deposits were not formed on the surface of the catalyst. There existed a regular hexagonal mesoporous structure in the Ni/SBA-15 and the Ni/CexZr1-xO2/SBA-15 catalysts. The nickel species and the CexZr1-xO2 component were all confined in the SBA-15 mesopores. The CexZr1-xO2 could promote dispersion of the nickel species in the Ni/CexZr1-xO2/SBA-15 catalysts. 相似文献

Ni catalysts supported on Al2O3, ZrO2-Al2O3, CeO2-Al2O3 and ZrO2-CeO2-Al2O3 were prepared by coprecipitation method, and their catalytic performances for autothermal reforming of methane to hydrogen were investigated. The Ni-supported catalysts were characterized by XRD, TPR and XPS. The relationship between the structures and catalytic activities of the catalysts was discussed. The results showed that the catalytic activity and stability of the Ni/ZrO2-CeO2-Al2O3 catalyst was better than those of other catalysts with the highest CH4 conversion, H2/CO and H2/COx ratio at 750 ℃. The catalyst showed a little deactivation along the reaction time during its 72 h on stream with the mean deactivation rate of 0.08%/h. The catalytic performance of the Ni/ZrO2-CeO2-Al2O3 catalyst was also affected by reaction temperature, no2 : nCH4 molar ratio and nH2O : nCH4 molar ratio. TPR, XRD and XPS measurements indicated that the formation of ZrO2-CeO2 solid solution could improve the dispersion of NiO, and inhibit the formation of NiAl2O3, and thus significantly promoted the catalytic activity of the Ni/ZrO2-CeO2-Al2O3 catalyst. 相似文献

提出了电催化作用下甲烷水蒸气催化重整的新工艺。基于工业常规Ni基催化剂,采用等体积浸渍法,以Ni为活性组分,γ-Al_2O_3为载体,MgO、CaO为助剂,制备了Ni/γ-Al_2O_3、Ni-MgO/γ-Al_2O_3和Ni-CaO/γ-Al_2O_3催化剂,考察了电流强度、重整温度、水蒸气与甲烷的物质的量比(水碳比,S/C)对不同催化剂的CH_4转化率、H_2产率、CO选择性和催化剂稳定性的影响。结果表明,电催化工艺有着良好的普适性,电流的引入能够提升CH_4转化率、增加H_2产率,尤其在低温下电流的促进作用显著。在三种催化剂中,Ni-CaO/γ-Al_2O_3催化效果最佳,在电流为4.5 A、S/C为3、重整温度为700℃时,CH_4转化率就高达95%以上。稳定性测试表明,电流的通入还能显著提高催化剂的稳定性,延缓催化剂的积炭失活。通过对催化剂的分析表征,发现电流的通入提升了催化剂中NiO的还原程度,同时抑制了反应过程中NiC_x向石墨炭的转化,从而可延缓催化剂因积炭覆盖反应活性位点而造成的失活。 相似文献

The effect of electron beam irradiation on the CO2 reforming of methane over Ni/Al2O3 was investigated. The conversion rate of CO2 and CH4 forming H2 and CO using various catalysts irradiated with an absorbed dose greater than 2 MGy was 5–10% higher than when using an untreated catalyst. The Ni/O ratio on the catalyst surface increased after treatment with an electron beam, and was more prominent for catalysts with a higher Ni content. As such, based on XRD and XPS measurements, electron beam treatment was found to result in either the desorption of oxygen from NiO or the removal of OH groups from the outermost surface layer of the catalyst. In addition, the concentration of active sites, such as Ni2+ and NiO, or surface defects was also found to increase with the absorbed radiation dose, thereby increasing the conversion rate. 相似文献

A series of tungsten promoted alumina supported nickel catalysts has been prepared for the carbon diox-ide reforming of methane to synthesis gas. The catalysts have been characterized by means of XRD, TEM,and Laser Raman spectroscopy. It is shown that the addition of tungsten to the nickel catalyst can stabilize the catalyst and increase the resistance to carbon deposition. Adding a suitable amount of tungsten can also increase the catalyst activity to be close to that of supported noble metal catalysts. The carburisation of the tungsten modified nickel catalyst decreases the catalyst activity at lower reaction temperatures (<1123K),but has no effect on the catalyst performance at higher reaction temperatures. The alumina supported nickel catalyst modified by 0. 67% (mass fraction) WO3 has the equivalent equilibrium constant of the dry reforming reaction to that of alumina supported 5% (mass fraction) Ru at 873 K, and also has a lower activation energy for dry reforming than the latter. 相似文献

通过共沉淀法制备铈锆固溶体作为载体,采用等体积、分步浸渍的方法制备了一系列10% Ni-3% La/CexZr1-xO2(X=0、0.16、0.5、0.75、1)催化剂,并将其应用到甲烷部分氧化和甲烷二氧化碳重整耦合制合成气的反应中。对不同Ce/Zr比的催化剂性能展开研究,采用XRD、H2-TPR、SEM手段对载体及催化剂进行了表征。结果表明,铈锆固溶体的形成不仅提高了催化剂表面活性组分的分散度,使催化剂表面NiO晶粒尺寸从26.5 nm减到13.7 nm;而且能够加强活性组分与载体之间的相互作用,提高催化剂的热稳定性能;随着Ce/Zr比的增加,催化剂的转化率、选择性及稳定性随之增强,其关系为:Ni-La/Ce0.75Zr0.25O2 > Ni-La/Ce0.5Zr0.5O2 > Ni-La/Ce0.16Zr0.84O2。 相似文献
