We consider the problem of invariance of distillable entanglement D and quantum capacities Q under erasure of information about single copy of quantum state or channel respectively. We argue that any 2 ⊗N two-way distillable state is still two-way distillable after erasure of single copy information. For some known distillation
protocols the obtained two-way distillation rate is the same as if Alice and Bob knew the state from the very beginning. The
isomorphism between quantum states and quantum channels is also investigated. In particular it is pointed out that any transmission
rate down the channel is equal to distillation rate with formal LOCC-like superoperator that uses in general nonphysical Alice
actions. This allows to we prove that if given channel Λ has nonzero capacity (Q
→ or Q
⟺) then the corresponding quantum state ϱ(Λ) has nonzero distillable entanglement (D
→ or D
⟺). Follwoing the latter arguments are provided that any channel mapping single qubit into N level system allows for reliable two-way transmission after erasure of information about single copy. Some open problems

Quantum planes, which correspond to all one-parameter solutions of Quantum Yang-Baxter Equation (QYBE) for the two-dimensional case of GL-groups, are summarized and their geometrical interpretations are given. It is shown that the quantum dual plane is associated with an exotic solution of QYBE and the well-known quantum h-plane may be regarded as the quantum analog of the flag (or fiber) plane. Multilayer transition in a spin-1 Blume–Capel model with RKKY interaction and quantum transverse anisotropy

Using mean-field theory, we have studied the effect of quantum transverse anisotropies with RKKY interaction on the multi-layer transition and magnetic properties of the spin-1 Blume--Capel model of a system formed by two magnetic multi-layer materials, of different thicknesses, separated by a non-magnetic spacer of thickness M. It is found that the multilayer magnetic order--disorder transition temperature depends strongly on the value of the transverse anisotropy. The multilayer transition temperature decreases when increasing the transverse anisotropy. Furthermore, there exists a critical quantum transverse anisotropy ΔxL beyond which the separate transitions occur in the two magnetic layers. The critical transverse anisotropy ΔxL decreases (increases) on increasing the non-magnetic spacer of thickness M (on increasing the crystal field), and ΔxL undergoes oscillations as a function of the Fermi level. 相似文献

Using low-temperature near-field spectroscopy, we obtained spatially and spectrally resolved photoluminescence (PL) images
of individual ZnO nanorod single-quantum-well structures (SQWs) with a spatial resolution of 20 nm. We observed the dependence
of the quantum confinement effect of the PL peak on the well width (L
aw), from which the linewidths of near-field PL spectra of ZnO nanorod SQWs (L
aw = 2.5 and 3.75 nm) were determined to be as narrow as 3 meV. However, near-field PL spectra of individual SQWs with L
aw = 5.0 nm exhibited two PL peaks, presumably due to strains or defects in the ZnMgO in the nanorod SQWs. Since the exciton
in a quantum structure is an ideal two-level system with long coherence times, our results provide criteria for designing

The influence of the width of a lattice-matched Al0.82In0.18N/GaN single quantum well (SQW) on the absorption coefficients and wavelength of the intersubband transition (ISBT) has been investigated by solving the Schrödinger and Poisson equations self-consistently. The wavelength of 1—2 ISBT increases with L, the thickness of the single quantum well, ranging from 2.88 μm to 3.59 μm. The absorption coefficients of 1—2 ISBT increase with L at first and then decrease with L, with a maximum when L is equal to 2.6 nm. The wavelength of 1—3 ISBT decreases with L at first and then increases with L, with a minimum when L is equal to 4 nm, ranging from approximately 2.03 μm to near 2.11 μm. The absorption coefficients of 1—3 ISBT decrease with L. The results indicate that mid-infrared can be realized by the Al0.82In0.18N/GaN SQW. In addition, the wavelength and absorption coefficients of ISBT can be adjusted by changing the width of the SQW. 相似文献

The technique of multiple-quantum J-resolved NMR spectroscopy (MQ-JRES) is introduced and applied to the spin system SI3–M (such as in the example given here, the 13CH3–12CH in alanine). The SI3 spin system was excited to its highest quantum state (8SyIxIyIy), which consists of four coherences: quadruple quantum of (3I + S), double quantum of (3I − S), double quantum of (I + S), and zero quantum of (I − S). In the MQ spectrum generated from the projection onto the F1 dimension, the resonances of the different multiple-quantum coherences are resolved by their coupling constants to the remote spin (M). The absorptive lineshapes in both F1 and F2 dimensions enable accurate measurements of transverse relaxation rates, and both amplitude and relative signs of the long-range coupling constants are to be derived from either frequency or time domain data. The selective detection of MQ-JRES spectra of the individual MQ coherences using either phase cycling or pulsed field gradients is presented. 相似文献

利用散射矩阵方法,比较了被一维凸形量子点、凹形量子点调制的量子线中膨胀模的声子输运和热导性质. 研究结果表明: 声子的输运概率与热导受制于量子点几何结构,具有凸形量子点结构的量子线中声子输运概率与热导KCV大于具有凹形量子点结构的量子线中声子输运概率与热导KCC. 两者热导之比KCV/KCC依赖于一维量子点的具体结构,且随着温度及主量子线与量子点横截面的边长差ΔSL的增加而增加. 两种具有不同散射结构的一维量子线中热输运性质的区别在于凸形量子点结构中膨胀模数量总是大于凹形量子点结构中膨胀模数量的缘故.

The superfluid fraction of an atomic cloud is defined using the cloud's response to a rotation of the external potential,
i.e. the moment of inertia. A fully quantum mechanical calculation of this moment is based on the dispersion of Lz instead of quasi-classical averages. In this paper we derive analytical results for the moment of inertia of a small number
of non-interacting Bosons using the canonical ensemble. The required symmetrized averages are obtained via a representation of the partition function by permutation cycles. Our results are useful to discriminate purely quantum statistical
effects from interaction effects in studies of superfluidity and phase transitions in finite samples.

Photo-pumped lasing properties have been investigated in a CdSe/ZnSe/ZnSSE single quantum wells (SQWs) with the well-layer thickness (LW) of 1, 2 and 3 monolayer (ML). At 20 K, the laser threshold for the SQW withLW = 1 ML was the lowest in spite of the smallest active layer thickness. The carrier (exciton) sheet density at the threshold (n)thwas estimated to be as low as 7 × 1010cm−2, which is well below Mott's screening density. Time-resolved photoluminescence has revealed that the localized biexciton band, whose peak energy agrees with the lasing peak, appeared on the low-energy side of the main PL peak at this level of carrier concentrations. Theoretical calculation has also shown that the localized biexciton recombination has to be taken into account for the lasing process. On the contrary, thenthvalues of the SQWs with 2 and 3 ML are 1 order of magnitude larger than that of the SQW with 1 ML. This may be due to the smaller oscillator strength of both localized excitons and localized biexcitons because of the larger inhomogeneous broadening, resulting in an increased carrier density for achieving optical gain sufficient to overcome the reflection losses. 相似文献
