Manganese picrate with 2,6-bis(benzimidazol-2-yl)pyridine (L) has been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The complex crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P–1 with a = 14.234(3) Å, b = 14.324(2) Å, c = 15.242(2) Å, α = 77.569(2)°, β = 63.350(3)°, γ = 82.130(2)°, and Z = 2. Interaction of the complex with calf-thymus DNA (CT-DNA) has been investigated with diverse spectroscopic techniques and viscosity measurements, and the binding constant is 1.76 × 105 mol?1. Results suggest that the complex bind to CT-DNA via intercalation.  相似文献

Dibenzimidazo crown ethers were synthesized by alkylation of α,ω-bis(benzimidazol-2-yl)alkanes and 1,2-bis(benzimidazol-2-ylsulfanyl)ethane with tri- and tetraethylene glycol bis(4-toluenesulfonates). The structure of 6,7,9,10,12,13,21,22-octahydro[1,14,6,9,4,11]dioxadithiadiazacyclohexadecino[4,5-a:11,10-a′]dibenzimidazole was studied by X-ray analysis.  相似文献

A novel dinuclear nickel(II) complex, [Ni2(MOBPT)2Cl2(H2O)2]Cl2 · 7H2O (MOBPT = 4-(p-methoxyphenyl) −3,5-bis(pyridine-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole), has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and single crystal X-ray diffraction methods. The crystal structure determination shows that the dinuclear Ni2N8 unit is almost planer in which each NiII ion is coordinated by four nitrogen atoms from MOBPT equatorially and a water molecule and a chloride ion axially in a distorted octahedral geometry. Magnetic measurements reveal a relatively weak antiferromagnetic exchange in the complex.  相似文献

Two series of new symmetrical 1,3,4-oxadiazoles 1a-n and 1,3,4-thiadiazoles 1b-n were prepared and their mesomorphic properties investigated by optical microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, and powder X-ray diffractometry. Compounds 1b-n are kinetically more stable than compounds 1a-n. Compounds 1a-n exhibited monotropic nematic or smectic C phases, whereas, compounds 1b-n exhibited enantiotropic nematic or smectic A/smectic C phases. Compounds 1b-n have higher clearing temperatures and the larger temperature ranges of mesophases, which might be attributed to the better linearity and/or larger dipole, resulted from a more polarized sulfur atom than oxygen atom incorporated. The fluorescent properties of these two series of 1,3,4-thiadiazole/oxadiazole-based derivatives were also examined. The λmax peaks of the photoluminescence spectra for compounds 1a-6 and 1b-6 measured in THF occurred at ca. 385 nm and 423 nm, respectively. Both series were blue emitters.  相似文献

A new mononuclear complex Mn(bbbi)2(H2O)4(ClO4)2·(bbbi)2·(H2O)2 1 (bbbi = 1,4-bis(benzimidazol-1-yl)-2-butene) is synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and single crystal X-ray structural analysis. Crystal data for 1: triclinic, , a = 8.8478(7) ?, b = 15.0550(11) ?, c = 16.4310(12) ?, α = 108.657(7)°, β = 104.044(7)°, Γ = 99.317(7)°, V = 1942.2(3) ?3, Z = 1, final R = 0.0621. Each manganese atom is octahedrally coordinated by four aqua ligands and two nitrogen atoms of two distinct bbbi ligands. The molecule is stabilized by hydrogen bonding and π…π interactions.  相似文献

1,2-Bis(benzimidazol-2-yl)ethane (bbe) and its copper(II) complex, {[Cu(bbe)Br2]2}·2DMF ( 1 ), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, ultraviolet–visible, and infrared spectra. The single crystal structure analysis of 1 shows two crystallographically independent but chemically identical [Cu(bbe)Br2] molecules. The coordination geometry of the copper atoms may best be described as a distorted tetrahedron (τ4 = 0.740 for Cu1 and 0.696 for Cu2). The cyclic voltammogram of complex 1 represents quasi-reversible Cu2+/Cu+ pairs. in vitro antioxidant tests showed that complex 1 has significant antioxidant activity against superoxide and hydroxy radicals. Photoluminescence investigations showed that the fluorescence intensity of complex 1 is significantly weaker than that of the ligand. This may be due to the paramagnetic effect of divalent copper to cause quenching of fluorescence.  相似文献

[Ni(obb)(DMF)2(H2O)]·(Pic)2·0.5DMF (1) and [Ni(Etobb)2]·(Pic)2·2DMF (2) (obb = 1,3-bis(benzimidazol-2-yl)-2-oxapropane, Etobb = 1,3-bis(1-ethylbenzimidazol-2-yl)-2-oxapropane, Pic = picrate) have been synthesized and characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The structures of both complexes have been determined by X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The coordination geometries of 1 and 2 can be described as distorted octahedra. The interaction of the nickel(II) complexes with calf thymus DNA was investigated by electronic absorption, fluorescence spectroscopy, and viscosity measurements. The experimental results suggest that 1 and 2 bind to DNA in an intercalation mode, and their binding affinity for DNA follows the order 1 > 2. DNA-binding behaviors can be attributed to the large coplanar aromatic rings in the V-shaped ligand and steric hindrance.  相似文献

A series of 2-(2-aminothiazol-5-yl)-3,6-dichloro-5-diethylaminoethenyl-1,4-benzoquinones was synthesized from 2-(2-aminothiazol-5-yl)-3,5,6-trichloro-1,4-benzoquinones using acetaldehyde and diethylamine in toluene solution. Three new mononuclear copper(II) complexes, [CuL(2-fca)(CH3OH)]ClO4?·?CH3OH (1), [CuL(m-nba)(CH3OH)]ClO4 (2), and [CuL(pic)(ClO4)]?·?CH3OH (3), were synthesized and structurally characterized, where L is 2,6-bis(benzimidazol-2-yl)pyridine, while 2-fca, m-nba, and pic are the anions of 2-furoic acid, m-nitrobenzoic acid, and picolinic acid, respectively. All of them were characterized by elemental analysis, infrared, UV-Vis, and X-ray crystallography. In 1 and 2, the Cu(II) resides within a distorted square-pyramidal N3O2 coordination sphere with three nitrogens of L, one carboxylate oxygen, and one methanol. In 3, Cu(II) is coordinated with three nitrogens of L, one nitrogen and one oxygen of picolinate, and one oxygen of perchlorate in a distorted octahedral geometry. Two molecules of 1, 2, and 3 are interacted by intermolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions and strong π–π stacking interactions to form a dinuclear structural unit. The dinuclear units are further connected by H-bonds via perchlorate or lattice methanol to form a 1-D chain for 1 and 2-D network structures for 2 and 3. Hydrogen-bonding and π–π stacking interactions are important for the stabilization of the final supramolecular structures of the three complexes.  相似文献

将螺二芴引入二芳基乙烯分子中,设计合成了一种新型的含螺二芴呋喃芳香杂环的二芳基乙烯光致变色分子7a.用FT-IR,NMR,MS和元素分析进行结构表征;研究了7a在正己烷溶液和乙腈溶液中的光致变色反应,结果表明7a在两种溶剂中均具有良好的光致变色性能.并且7a在正己烷溶液中变色速率和转化率比在乙腈溶液中大.还研究了7a光致变色过程中荧光光谱的变化,发现关环反应后荧光被淬灭,并且7a的荧光发射峰在极性溶剂中有很大的蓝移.研究了开环态7a,关环态7b的热稳定性,发现7a的热失重温度比未用螺二芴修饰的8a提高了100℃.7b的热稳定性也比8b高.  相似文献

Transition metal coordination compounds with the novel N2S2-donor ligand 1,6-bis(4(5)-imidazolyl)-2,5-dithiahexane (abbreviated bhdhx) with general formulae M(bhdhx)(NO3)2(M = Co, Ni, Cu) and M(bhdhx)(H2O)2(BF4)2 (M = Cu, Zn) have been isolated. In all compounds the ligand is tetradentate with both thioether sulphurs and imidazole nitrogens coordinating. In all compounds the metal ions are six-coordinated in a distorted octahedral geometry with either nitrates or water molecules as the fifth and sixth ligands. This is confirmed by the ligand field spectra, which agree with a distorted octahedral coordination. The distortion from octahedral, indicated by the ligand field spectrum of the cobalt nitrate compound is such that the S atoms of the ligands must be at a very large distance from the metal ion. A single crystal of Cu(bhdhx)(NO3)2 was used in a structure determination: orthorhombic space group Pbcn, a = 14.351(5), b = 8.554(3), c = 13.057(4) Å, Z = 4, and T = 293 K. The structure was solved by heavy atom techniques and refined by least-squares methods to a residual R value of 0.033 for 847 significant reflections. The copper ion is at a special position on a two-fold axis, which causes a two-fold symmetry in the ligand. The coordination geometry of the copper atom is distorted octahedral with the two nitrates and the two thioether sulphurs in a cis position, and the imidazole nitrogens trans. The copper to nitrogen distances are 1.933(4) Å, the copper to sulphur distances are 2.495(1) Å, and the copper to oxygen distances are 2.280(3) Å.  相似文献

Ruthenium monoterpyridine complexes with the tridentate 2,6-bis(benzimidazol-2-yl)pyridine (LH2), [Ru(trpy)(LH2)]2+, [1]2+ and [Ru(trpy)(L2−)], 2 (trpy = 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine) have been synthesized. The complexes have been authenticated by elemental analyses, UV–Vis, FT-IR, 1H NMR spectra and their single crystal X-ray structures. Complexes [1]2+ and 2 exhibit strong MLCT band near 475 and 509 nm, respectively, and are found to be very much dependent on solution pH. The successive pH dependent dissociations of the N–H protons of benzimidazole moiety of LH2 in [1]2+ lead to the formation of 2. The proton induced inter-convertibility of [1]2+ and 2 has been monitored via UV–Vis spectroscopy and redox features. The two pKa values, 5.75 and 7.70, for complex [1]2+ have been determined spectroscopically.  相似文献

Summary The complexes Co(BBP)Cl2, Co(BBP)2SO4·H2O, Co(BBP)2(NO3)2·H2O, Co(BBP)2(ClO4)2 and Co(BBP−H)2· 2H2O, where BBP is 2,6-bis(benzimidazol-2′-yl) pyridine, were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, electrical conductance, i.r. and electronic spectra. The electrochemical behaviour of the complexes was recorded and the X-ray crystal structure of Co(BBP)Cl2(MeOH)2 was determined. The geometry about cobalt is a distorted octahedron.  相似文献

Two novel DNA-intercalating complexes, [Cd(hipa)(bbiop)] n (1) and [Ni(ada)(bbiop)] n ·2H2O (2) with hipa, ada and potentially tridentate ligand bbiop (bbiop, 1,3-bis(benzimidazol-2-yl)-2-oxa-propane; hipa, 5-hydroxyisophthalate; ada, aniline-N,N-diacetate), have been synthesised under hydrothermal methods and structurally characterised by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, elemental analysis, UV–vis spectrum and fluorescent spectrum. The bbiop ligand exists as chelating-tridentate μ1-(η3–N1, N2, O6) coordination fashion. In addition, their in vitro cytotoxicities towards four selected tumour cell lines have been evaluated by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide method. Complex 1 exhibits the most dramatic inhibitory effect on MG-63, and its inhibition rate is higher than that of its free ligands, H2bbiop and hipa, indicating significantly enhanced effect after forming complex. On the basis of the combination of UV–vis absorption and fluorescence titrations, complex 1 can interact with the base pairs of double-helical DNA via an intercalative mode with intrinsic binding constant, K b, of 4.62 × 107, presenting the high DNA-binding affinity.  相似文献

Two new copper(II) complexes with 1,3-bis(5-(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)propane (H2L), [Cu2(HL)Cl3] · H2O (I) and [Cu(H2L)](ClO4)2 (II), were described. The compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and magnetochemical data. According to X-ray diffraction data (CIF files CCDC nos. 1497511 (I), 1497512 (II)), complex I is binuclear and the metal cations are bound by the nitrogen atoms of the triazole ring and by the chloride anion. Complex II is mononuclear. Analysis of the temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of I attests to the antiferromagnetic coupling of paramagnetic centers (–2J = 18 cm–1). Exchange channels are analyzed by means of density functional theory (B3LYP/6-311G(d)) using the broken symmetry approach.  相似文献
