According to the (1)H, (13)C and (15)N NMR spectroscopic data and DFT calculations, bifurcated N--H...N and N--H...O intramolecular hydrogen bond is shown to be present in 2-trifluoroacetyl-5-(2'-pyridyl)-pyrrole. This bifurcated hydrogen bond causes an increase in the absolute size of the (1)J(N,H) coupling constant by about 6 Hz, and the deshielding of the bridge proton by 2 ppm. DFT calculations show that the influence of the N--H...N and N--H...O intramolecular hydrogen bonds on the (1)J(N,H) coupling and proton shielding is almost additive, although the components of the bifurcated hydrogen bond slightly weaken each other. In 2-trifluoroacetyl-5-(2'-pyridyl)-pyrrole, the coupling constants involving the fluorine and the N--H covalent bond nuclei depend dramatically on the spatial position of the pyridine ring. The pyridine ring rotation operates as a quantum switch controlling the spin information transfer between the (19)F and (15)N nuclei, as well as the proton.  相似文献

The N-H...X (X = N,O,S) intramolecular hydrogen bond in the series of 2(2'-heteroaryl)pyrroles and their trifluoroacetyl derivatives is examined by the (1)H, (13)C, (15)N spectroscopy and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The influence of the hydrogen bond on coupling and shielding constants is considered. It is shown that the N-H...N intramolecular hydrogen bond causes a larger increase in the absolute size of the (1)J(N,H) coupling constant and a larger deshielding of the bridge proton than the N-H...O hydrogen bond. The effect of the N-H...S interaction on the (1)J(N,H) coupling constant and the shielding of the bridge proton is small. The NMR parameter changes in the series of the 2(2'-heteroaryl)pyrroles due to N-H...X hydrogen bond and the series of the 1-vinyl-2-(2'-heteroaryl)-pyrroles due to C-H...X hydrogen bond have the same order. The proximity of the nitrogen, oxygen or sulfur lone pair to the F...H hydrogen bridge quenches the trans-hydrogen bond spin-spin couplings (1h)J(F,H-1) and (2h)J(F,N).  相似文献

The 1H, 13C and 15N NMR studies have shown that the E and Z isomers of pyrrole‐2‐carbaldehyde oxime adopt preferable conformation with the syn orientation of the oxime group with respect to the pyrrole ring. The syn conformation of E and Z isomers of pyrrole‐2‐carbaldehyde oxime is stabilized by the N? H···N and N? H···O intramolecular hydrogen bonds, respectively. The N? H···N hydrogen bond in the E isomer causes the high‐frequency shift of the bridge proton signal by about 1 ppm and increase the 1J(N, H) coupling by ~3 Hz. The bridge proton shows further deshielding and higher increase of the 1J(N, H) coupling constant due to the strengthening of the N? H···O hydrogen bond in the Z isomer. The MP2 calculations indicate that the syn conformation of E and Z isomers is by ~3.5 kcal/mol energetically less favorable than the anti conformation. The calculations of 1H shielding and 1J(N, H) coupling in the syn and anti conformations allow the contribution to these constants from the N? H···N and N? H···O hydrogen bondings to be estimated. The NBO analysis suggests that the N? H···N hydrogen bond in the E isomer is a pure electrostatic interaction while the charge transfer from the oxygen lone pair to the antibonding orbital of the N? H bond through the N? H···O hydrogen bond occurs in the Z isomer. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

NMR spectroscopic studies are undertaken with derivatives of 2‐pyrazinecarboxylic acid. Complete and unambiguous assignment of chemical shifts (1H, 13C, 15N) and coupling constants (1H,1H; 13C,1H; 15N,1H) is achieved by combined application of various 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic techniques. Unequivocal mapping of 13C,1H spin coupling constants is accomplished by 2D (δ,J) long‐range INEPT spectra with selective excitation. Phenomena such as the tautomerism of 3‐hydroxy‐2‐pyrazinecarboxylic acid are discussed. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Mesomeric heteropentalene betaines are conjugated fused polyheterocyclic structures that represent interesting intermediates for organic synthesis. Five such structures, containing at least four nitrogen atoms and various substituents, have been characterized by 1H, 13C and 15N NMR. We report, apparently for the first time, nitrogen NMR data and coupling information on such systems. Inter‐ring long‐range correlations across five bonds with 15N (5JHN) and up to seven bonds with 13C (6JHC and 7JHC) were observed in HSQC experiments. The incorporation of an electron‐withdrawing substituent such as NO2 was observed to cause an increase in the magnitude of the remote couplings and deshielding of nearby protons, carbons and on all nitrogen atoms of the structure, including remote ones situated on other cycles. Comparative analysis of the 1Н and 13С NMR data for a series of the E and Z‐1‐styrylpyrroles, E and Z‐1‐(1‐propenyl)pyrroles, 1‐vinylpyrroles and styrene suggests that the conjugation between the unsaturated fragments in the former compounds is reduced. This is the result of the mutual influence of the donor p–π and π–π conjugation having opposite directions. According to the NMR data combined with the density functional theory calculations, the Z isomer of 1‐styrylpyrrole has essentially a nonplanar structure because of the steric hindrance. However, the E isomer of 1‐styrylpyrrole is also an out‐of‐plane structure despite the absence of a sterical barrier for the planar one. Deviation of the E isomer from the planar structure seems to be caused by an electronic hindrance produced by a mutual influence of the p–π and π–π conjugation. The structure of the E isomer of the 2‐substituted 1‐styrylpyrroles is similar to that of the 2‐substituted 1‐vinylpyrroles. The steric effects in the Z isomer of the 2‐substituted 1‐styrylpyrroles result in the large increase of the dihedral angle between planes of the pyrrole ring and double bond. 1H, 13C, and 15N NMR studies of platinide(II) (M=Pd, Pt) chloride complexes with quinolines (L=quinoline-quin, or isoquinoline-isoquin; LL=2,2'-biquinoline-bquin), having the general formulae trans-/cis-[ML2Cl2] and [M(LL)Cl2], were performed and the respective chemical shifts (delta1H, delta13C, delta15N) reported. 1H coordination shifts of various signs and magnitudes (Delta1Hcoord=delta1Hcomplex-delta1Hligand) are discussed in relation to the changes of diamagnetic contribution to the relevant 1H shielding constants. The comparison to the literature data for similar complexes containing auxiliary ligands other than chlorides exhibited a large dependence of delta1H parameters on electron density variations and ring-current effects (inductive and anisotropic phenomena). The influence of deviations from planarity, concerning either MN2Cl2 chromophores or azine ring systems, revealed by the known X-ray structures of [Pd(bquin)Cl2] and [Pt(bquin)Cl2], is discussed in respect to 1H NMR spectra. 15N coordination shifts (Delta15Ncoord=delta15Ncomplex-delta15Nligand) of ca. 78-100 ppm (to lower frequency) are attributed mainly to the decrease of the absolute value of paramagnetic contribution in the relevant 15N shielding constants, this phenomenon being noticeably dependent on the type of a platinide metal and coordination sphere geometry. The absolute magnitude of Delta15Ncoord parameter increased by ca 15 ppm upon Pd(II)-->Pt(II) replacement but decreased by ca. 15 ppm following trans-->cis transition. Experimental 1H, 13C, 15N NMR chemical shifts are compared to those quantum-chemically calculated by B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G**//B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G*, both in vacuo and in CHCl3 or DMF solution.  相似文献

Au(III), Co(III) and Rh(III) chloride complexes with pyridine (py), 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) of the general formulae [M1LCl3], trans-[M2L4Cl2]+, mer-[M2L3Cl3], [M1(LL)Cl2]+, cis-[M2(LL)2Cl2]+, where M1=Au; M2=Co, Rh; L=py; LL=bpy, phen, were studied by 1H--13C HMBC and 1H--15N HMQC/HSQC. The 1H, 13C and 15N coordination shifts (the latter from ca-78 to ca-107 ppm) are discussed in relation to the type of metal, electron configuration, coordination sphere geometry and the type of ligand. The 13C and 15N chemical shifts were also calculated by quantum-chemical NMR methods, which reproduced well the experimental tendencies concerning the coordination sphere geometry and the ligand type.  相似文献

We measured the 1H, 13 C and 15 N chemical shifts for a series of purine derivatives bearing a norbornane substituent in position 9 and various substituents in position 6. The experimental data were complemented with density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The comparison of the calculated and experimental chemical shifts provided us with information about the tautomer and conformational equilibria of the studied compounds. In the (1)H and (13)C NMR spectra of selenophene-2-carbaldehyde azine, the (1)H-5, (13)C-3 and (13)C-5 signals of the selenophene ring are shifted to higher frequencies, whereas those of the (1)H-1, (13)C-1, (13)C-2 and (13)C-4 are shifted to lower frequencies on going from the EE to ZZ isomer or from the E moiety to the Z moiety of EZ isomer. The (15)N chemical shift is significantly larger in the EE isomer relative to the ZZ isomer and in the E moiety relative to the Z moiety of EZ isomer. A very pronounced difference (60-65 mg/g) between the (77)Se resonance positions is revealed in the studied azine isomers, the (77)Se peak being shifted to higher frequencies in the ZZ isomer and in the Z moiety of EZ isomer. The trends in the changes of the measured chemical shifts are reasonably reproduced by the GIAO calculations at the MP2 level of the (1)H, (13)C, (15)N and (77)Se shielding constants in the energy-favorable conformation with the syn orientation of both selenophene rings relative to the C = N groups. The NBO analysis suggests that such an arrangement of the selenophene rings may take place because of a higher energy of some intramolecular interactions.  相似文献

Indoloquinoline alkaloids represent an important class of antimalarial, antibacterial and antiviral compounds. They have been shown to bind to DNA via intercalation preferentially at GC-rich sequences containing nonalternating CC sites. The stability of complexes formed with biological macromolecules depends on noncovalent binding. In the present study, the ability of indoloquinolines to form intermolecular interactions with solvents was investigated by using NMR spectroscopy and density functional theory (DFT) (B3LYP/6-31G**) calculations. NMR data measured for indoloquinoline bases and the corresponding hydrochlorides are discussed in relation to the structure. DFT calculations of shielding constants in vacuo and in solution allowed the investigation of the influence of the environment on the NMR parameters. Calculations incorporating solvent effects indicated significant changes in the anisotropy of the electron distribution, reflected in the span of the chemical shielding tensor (Omega = sigma11 - sigma33). Solvent effects on the span of the 13C and 15N shielding tensor depended on the type of atom and the data indicated a significant influence of solute-solvent interactions.  相似文献

Three N-substituted pyrazoles and three N-substituted indazoles [1-(4-nitrophenyl)-3,5-dimethylpyrazole (1), 1-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-3,5-dimethylpyrazole (2), 1-tosyl-pyrazole (3), 1-p-chlorobenzoylindazole (4), 1-tosylinda-zole (5) and 2-(2-hydroxy-2-phenylethyl)-indazole (6)] have been studied by NMR spectroscopy in solution (1H, 13C, 15N) and in the solid state (13C, 15N). The chemical shifts have been compared with GIAO/DFT calculated absolute shieldings. Some discrepancies have been analyzed.  相似文献

1H, 13C and 15N NMR measurements (1D and 2D including 1H--15N gs-HMBC) have been carried out on 3-amino-1, 2,4-benzotriazine and a series of N-oxides and complete assignments established. N-Oxidation at any position resulted in large upfield shifts of the corresponding N-1 and N-2 resonances and downfield shifts for N-4 with the exception of the 3-amino-1,2,4-benzotriazine 1-oxide in which a small upfield shift of N-4 was observed. Density functional GIAO calculations of the 15N and 13C chemical shifts [B3LYP/6-31G(d)//B3LYP/6-311+G(2d,p)] gave good agreement with experimental values confirming the assignments. The combination of 13C and 15N NMR provides an unambiguous method for assigning the 1H and 13C resonances of N-oxides of 1,2,4-benzotriazines.  相似文献
