一个类Lehmer问题误差项的均值估计

研究了一个类Lehmer问题的误差项均值估计问题,利用解析方法与Cochrane和的性质给出了它的平均阶估计和一个一次混合均值的渐近公式,所得结果表明该类问题比Lehmer问题更加复杂.     

Lehmer问题的两个推广

设素数P>2,整数C与P互素．对任意整数1≤a≤P-1,存在惟一的整数 1≤b≤P-1满足ab≡c mod P．Lehmer建议我们研究a与b的奇偶性不同的情形．本文给出了这一问题的两个推广,并获得了两个有趣的混合均值公式．     

关于D.H.Lehmer问题与超级Kloosterman和

设整数q>2,c与q互素．对于1到q之间与q互素的任意整数a,在1到q之间存在唯一的整数b满足ab≡c mod q．对任意整数k≥2,定义M(q,k,c)为满足1≤ai≤q, (ai,q)=1,i=1,2,…,k,a1a2…ak≡c mod q且2 a1 a2 … ak的正整数组(a1,a2,…,ak)的数目,并设E(q,k,c)=M(q,k,c)-(φk-1(q))/2．本文的主要目的是利用Gauss和与原特征的性质,以及Dirichlet L-函数的均值定理,来研究E(q,k,c)与超级Kloosterman和K(h,k,q)的混合均值,并给出一个均值公式．

Two identities are obtained by Jacobi‘s triple product identity and some basic operators.By applying these identities,Jacobi‘s theorem for the number of representations of an integer as a sum of eight squares is easily proved.     

虚二次域类数的可除性

时间序列与时空序列的建模

本文介绍了作者和他的博士研究生于近五年内,在时间序列与时空序列的统计建模方面所完成的研究工作。文章包含两个部分:第一部分将给出平稳与非平稳的ARMA模型(包括平稳ARMA,ARUMA与一般ARMA模型)的阶与参数估计的新结果,我们假设模型的噪声项满足鞅差条件,这比要求它们是i.i.d要弱,而且合理。第二部分给出了二维ARMA模型的谱鉴别,对于一类特殊的二维AR模型(即所谓的象限马氏模型,它们恰好就是熟知的一维马氏AR模型在二维情形的相配模型。)给出了它的阶与参数的强相合估计与重对数收敛速度。     

On a Problem of D. H. Lehmer and General Kloosterman Sums

Abstract Let q ≥ 3 be an odd number, a be any fixed positive integer with (a, q) = 1. For each integer b with 1 ≤ b < q and (b, q) = 1, it is clear that there exists one and only one c with 0 < c < q such that bc ≡ a (mod q). Let N(a, q) denote the number of all solutions of the congruent equation bc ≡ a (mod q) for 1 ≤ b, c < q in which b and c are of opposite parity, and let . The main purpose of this paper is to study the distribution properties of E(a, q), and give a sharper hybrid mean-value formula involving E(a, q) and general Kloosterman sums. This work is supported by the NSF and the PSF of P. R. China     

On squares in Lucas sequences

Let P and Q be non-zero integers. The Lucas sequence {Un(P,Q)} is defined by U₀=0, U₁=1, Un=PUn−1−QUn−2 (n?2). The question of when Un(P,Q) can be a perfect square has generated interest in the literature. We show that for n=2,…,7, Un is a square for infinitely many pairs (P,Q) with gcd(P,Q)=1; further, for n=8,…,12, the only non-degenerate sequences where gcd(P,Q)=1 and Un(P,Q)=□, are given by U₈(1,−4)=²¹², U₈(4,−17)=⁶²⁰², and U₁₂(1,−1)=¹²².

On Units of Group Algebras of 2-Groups of Maximal Class

Abstract

We determine the number of elements of order two in the group of normalized units V(𝔽₂ G) of the group algebra 𝔽₂ G of a 2-group of maximal class over the field 𝔽₂ of two elements. As a consequence for the 2-groups G and H of maximal class we have that V(𝔽₂ G) and V(𝔽₂ H) are isomorphic if and only if G and H are isomorphic.
