In this paper we investigate finite rank operators in the Jacobson radical of Alg( ), where are nests. Based on the concrete characterizations of rank one operators in Alg( ) and , we obtain that each finite rank operator in can be written as a finite sum of rank one operators in and the weak closure of equals Alg( ) if and only if at least one of is continuous.  相似文献

Let denote the class of ergodic probability preserving transformations which are disjoint from every weakly mixing system. Let be the class of multipliers for , i.e. ergodic transformations whose all ergodic joinings with any element of are also in . Fix an ergodic rotationT, a mildly mixing actionS of a locally compact second countable groupG and an ergodic cocycle ϕ forT with values inG. The main result of the paper is a sufficient (and also necessary by [LeP] whenG is countable Abelian andS is Bernoullian) condition for the skew product build fromT, ϕ andS to be an element of . In this paper, we introduce Property ∏σ of operator algebras and prove that nest subalgebras and the finite-width CSL subalgebras of arbitrary von Neumann algebras have Property ∏σ.Finally, we show that the tensor product formula alg ML1-(×)algNL2 = algM-(×)N(L1 (×) L2) holds for any two finite-width CSLs L1 and L2 in arbitrary von Neumann algebras M and N, respectively.  相似文献

A Furstenberg family F is a family,consisting of some subsets of the set of positive integers,which is hereditary upwards,i.e.A■B and A∈F imply B∈F.For a given system (i.e.,a pair of a complete metric space and a continuous self-map of the space) and for a Furstenberg family F, the definition of F-scrambled pairs of points in the space has been given,which brings the well-known scrambled pairs in Li-Yorke sense and the scrambled pairs in distribution sense to be F-scrambled pairs corresponding respectively to suitable Furstenberg family F.In the present paper we explore the basic properties of the set of F-scrambled pairs of a system.The generically F-chaotic system and the generically strongly F-chaotic system are defined.A criterion for a generically strongly F-chaotic system is showed.  相似文献

Let be a complete set of Sylow subgroups of a finite group G, that is, for each prime p dividing the order of G, contains one and only one Sylow p-subgroup of G. A subgroup H of G is said to be -permutable in G if H permutes with every member of . In this paper we characterize p-nilpotency of finite groups G; we will assume that some minimal subgroups or 2-minimal subgroups of G are -permutable in G. In accordance with the quantum duality principle, the twisted algebra is equivalent to the quantum group and has two preferred bases: one inherited from the universal enveloping algebra and the other generated by coordinate functions of the dual Lie group . We show howthe transformation can be explicitly obtained for any simple Lie algebra and a factorable chain of extended Jordanian twists. In the algebra , we introduce a natural vector grading , compatible with the adjoint representation of the algebra. Passing to the dual-group coordinates allows essentially simplifying the costructure of the deformed Hopf algebra , considered as a quantum group . The transformation can be used to construct new solutions of the twist equations. We construct a parameterized family of extended Jordanian deformations and study it in terms of ; we find new realizations of the parabolic twist. The embedding theorem is established for Z-graded transitive modular Lie superalgebras g=(?)satisfying the conditions: (i)g0(?)(g-1)and g0-module g-1 is isomorphic to the natural(?)(g-1)-module; (ii)dim g1=2/3n(2n~2 1),where n=1/2dim g-1. In particular,it is proved that the finite-dimensional simple modular Lie superalgebras satisfying the conditions above are isomorphic to the odd Hamiltonian superalgebras.The restricted Lie superalgebras are also considered.  相似文献

We define various ring sequential convergences on and . We describe their properties and properties of their convergence completions. In particular, we define a convergence on by means of a nonprincipal ultrafilter on the positive prime numbers such that the underlying set of the completion is the ultraproduct of the prime finite fields Further, we show that is sequentially precompact but fails to be strongly sequentially precompact; this solves a problem posed by D. Let be a (not necessarily semi-finite) σ-finite von Neumann algebra. We prove that there exists a finite von Neumann algebra so that for every 1 < p < 2, the Haagerup L p -space associated with embeds isomorphically into . We also provide a proof of the following non-commutative generalization of a classical result of Rosenthal: if is a semi-finite von Neumann algebra then every reflexive subspace of embeds isomorphically into L r ( ) for some r > 1. We consider a Skorohod map which takes paths in to paths which stay in the positive orthant . We let be the domain of definition of . A convex and lower semi-continuous function and a set are given. We are concerned with the calculation of the infimum of the value for t ⩾ 0 and absolutely continuous subject to the conditions and . We show that such minimization problems characterize large deviation asymptotics of tail probabilities of the steady-state distribution of certain reflected processes. We approximate the infimum by a sequence of finite-dimensional minimization problems. This approximation allows to formulate an algorithm for the calculation of the infimum and to derive analytical bounds for its value. Several applications are discussed including large deviations of generalized processor sharing and large deviations of heavily loaded queueing networks. We study two questions posed by Johnson, Lindenstrauss, Preiss, and Schechtman, concerning the structure of level sets of uniform and Lipschitz quotient mappings from . We show that if , is a uniform quotient mapping then for every has a bounded number of components, each component of separates and the upper bound of the number of components depends only on and the moduli of co-uniform and uniform continuity of .Next we prove that all level sets of any co-Lipschitz uniformly continuous mapping from to are locally connected, and we show that for every pair of a constant and a function with , there exists a natural number , so that for every co-Lipschitz uniformly continuous map with a co-Lipschitz constant and a modulus of uniform continuity , there exists a natural number and a finite set with card so that for all has exactly components, has exactly components and each component of is homeomorphic with the real line and separates the plane into exactly 2 components. In a generalized linear model with q×1 responses, bounded and fixed p×q regressors zi and general link function, under the most general assumption on the minimum eigenvalue of ∑in=1 ZiZi', the moment condition on responses as weak as possible and other mild regular conditions, we prove that with probability one, the quasi-likelihood equation has a solution βn for all large sample size n, which converges to the true regression parameter β0. In this paper,we count the number of SL2(F2^s)-representations of torus knot groups up to a conjugacy.For the finite field F2^s with character 2,the counting method is similar to that in out previous work[1].Explicit formulae of the effective counting are given in this paper.Twisted Alexander polynomials related to those reprsentations are discussed.  相似文献

We present a connection between -algebras and Yangians in the case of gl(N) algebras, as well as for twisted Yangians and super-Yangians. We illustrate this connection, which allows constructing an R-matrix for the -algebras and classifying their finite-dimensional irreducible representations, in the framework of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation in 1+1 dimensions.  相似文献
