A novel series of luminescent heterodecanuclear mixed-metal alkynyl complexes, [Ag6(mu-dppm)4[mu3-C[triple bond]CC[triple bond]C-Re(N--N)(CO)3]4](PF6)2, (N--N = tBu2bpy, Me2bpy, phen, Br2phen), have been successfully synthesized; the X-ray crystal structures of [Ag6(mu-dppm)4[mu3-C[triple bond]CC[triple bond]C-Re(Me2bpy)(CO)3]4](PF6)2 and [Ag6(mu-dppm)4[mu3-C[triple bond]CC[triple bond]C-Re(Br2phen)(CO)3]4](PF6)2 have also been determined. 相似文献

Two novel Mn12 derivatives [Mn12O12(O2CC[triple bond]CH)16(H2O)4] x 3H2O (1) and [Mn12(O2CC[triple bond]CC6H5)16(H2O)4] x 3H2O (2) have been prepared and characterized. Magnetic measurements confirm that both function as single-molecule magnets (SMM), showing frequency-dependent out-of-phase AC susceptibility signals and magnetization hysteresis curves. Thermal stability studies of both complexes were first conducted in the solid state. While complex 1 undergoes a sudden exothermal decomposition at T(onset) = 118 degrees C, complex 2 exhibits a higher stability. Thermolysis reaction of 1 was hence assessed in solution to yield dark red crystals of a two-dimensional Mn(II)-based co-ordination polymer [Mn3(O2CC[triple bond]CH)6(H2O)4] x 2H2O (3), which corresponds to an extended sheet-like structure that crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n; a = 9.2800(2) angstroms, b = 9.4132(2) angstroms, c = 14.9675(3) angstroms, beta = 99.630(1) degrees, and Z = 2. Finally, the magnetic properties of complex 3 have been studied on an oriented single crystal over two different orientations of the reciprocal vector versus the external field. 相似文献

Reactions of laser-ablated group 4 transition-metal atoms with acetylene have been carried out. The ethynyl metal hydrides (HC[triple bond]C-MH) and corresponding pi complexes (M-eta(2)-(C2H2)) are identified in the matrix infrared spectra. The observed M-H and C-M stretching absorptions show that oxidative C-H insertion readily occurs during codeposition and photolysis afterward. The absorptions from the pi complex, on the other hand, are relatively weak in the original deposition spectrum but increase dramatically in the process of annealing. The vinylidene complex, another plausible product, is not identified in this study. The observed spectra and DFT calculations both show that the back-donations from the group 4 metals to the antibonding pi* orbital of C2H2 are extensive such that the group 4 metals form unusually strong pi complexes. Thus, it is the formation of two Ti-C bonds in the group 4 systems than leads to the stronger bonding than that in the group 8 systems. While bonds form, the Ti atom is weakly bound to C2H2, and we still refer to it as a pi complex. Evidence of relativistic effects is also observed in frequency trends for the Ti, Zr, and Hf products. 相似文献

Products of the reaction of nido-1,2-(CpRuH)(2)B(3)H(7), 1, and phenylacetylene demonstrate the ways in which cluster metal and main group fragments can combine with an alkyne. Observed at 22 degrees C are (a) reduction to mu-alkylidene Ru-B bridges (isomers nido-1,2-(CpRu)(2)(1,5-mu-C{Ph}Me)B(3)H(7), 2, and nido-1,2-(CpRu)(2)(1,5-mu-C{CH(2)Ph}H)B(3)H(7), 3), (b) reduction to exo-cluster alkyl substituents on boron (nido-1,2-(CpRuH)(2)-3-CH(2)CH(2)Ph-B(3)H(6), 4), (c) cluster insertion with extrusion of a BH(2) fragment into an exo-cluster bridge (nido-1,2-(CpRu)(2)(mu-H)(mu-BH(2))-4-or-5-Ph-4,5-C(2)B(2)H(5), 5), (d) combined insertion with BH(2) extrusion and reduction (nido-1,2-(CpRu)(2)(mu-H)(mu-BH(2))-3-CH(2)CH(2)Ph-5-Ph-4,5-C(2)B(2)H(4), 6), (e) insertion and loss of borane with and without reduction (nido-1,2-(CpRu)(2)-5-Ph-4,5-C(2)B(2)H(7), 7, and isomers nido-1,2-(CpRu)(2)-3-CH(2)CH(2)Ph-4-(and-5-)Ph-C(2)B(2)H(6), 8 and 9), and (f) insertion and borane loss plus reduction (nido-1,2-(CpRu)(2)-3-(trans-CH=CHPh)-5-Ph-4,5-C(2)B(2)H(6), 10). Along with 7, 8, and 10, the reaction at 90 degrees C generates products of insertion and nido- to closo-cluster closure (closo-4-Ph-1,2-(CpRuH)(2)-4,6-C(2)B(2)H(3), 11, closo-1,2-(CpRuH)(2)-3-CH(2)CH(2)Ph-5-Ph-7-CH(2)CH(2)Ph-4,5-C(2)B(3)H(2), 12, closo-1,2-(CpRuH)(2)-5-Ph-4,5-C(2)B(3)H(4), 13, and isomers closo-1,2-(CpRuH)(2)-3-and-7-CH(2)CH(2)Ph-5-Ph-4,5-C(2)B(3)H(3), 14 and 15). The clusters with an exo-cluster bridging BH(2) groups are shown to be intermediates by demonstrating that the major products 5 and 6 rearrange to 13 and convert to 14, respectively. 14 then isomerizes to 15, thus connecting low- and high-temperature products. Finally, all available information shows that the high reactivity of 1 with alkynes can be associated with the "extra" two Ru-H hydrides on the framework of 1 which are required to meet the nido-cluster electron count. 相似文献

The sequential conversion of [OsBr(cod)Cp*] (9) to [OsBr(dppe)Cp*] (10), [Os([=C=CH2)(dppe)Cp*]PF6 ([11]PF6), [Os(C triple bond CH)(dppe)Cp*] (12), [{Os(dppe)Cp*}2{mu-(=C=CH-CH=C=)}][PF6]2 ([13](PF6)2) and finally [{Os(dppe)Cp*}(2)(mu-C triple bond CC triple bond C)] (14) has been used to make the third member of the triad [{M(dppe)Cp*}2(mu-C triple bond CC triple bond C)] (M = Fe, Ru, Os). The molecular structures of []PF6, 12 and 14, together with those of the related osmium complexes [Os(NCMe)(dppe)Cp*]PF6 ([15]PF6) and [Os(C triple bond CPh)(dppe)Cp*] (16), have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. Comparison of the redox properties of 14 with those of its iron and ruthenium congeners shows that the first oxidation potential E1 varies as: Fe approximately Os < Ru. Whereas the Fe complex has been shown to undergo three sequential 1-electron oxidation processes within conventional electrochemical solvent windows, the Ru and Os compounds undergo no fewer than four sequential oxidation events giving rise to a five-membered series of redox related complexes [{M(dppe)Cp*}2(mu-C4)]n+ (n = 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4), the osmium derivatives being obtained at considerably lower potentials than the ruthenium analogues. The reactions of the ethynyl radical (C(2)H) with propyne and allene are studied at room temperature using an apparatus that combines the tunability of the vacuum ultraviolet radiation of the Advanced Light Source at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory with time-resolved mass spectrometry. The C(2)H radical is prepared by 193-nm photolysis of CF(3)CCH and the mass spectrum of the reacting mixture is monitored in time using synchrotron-photoionization with a dual-sector mass spectrometer. Analysis using photoionization efficiency curves allows the isomer-specific detection of individual polyynes of chemical formula C(5)H(4) produced by both reactions. The product branching ratios are estimated for each isomer. The reaction of propyne with ethynyl gives 50-70% diacetylene (H-C[triple bond]C-C[triple bond]C-H) and 50-30% C(5)H(4), with a C(5)H(4)-isomer distribution of 15-20% ethynylallene (CH(2)=C=CH-C[triple bond]CH) and 85-80% methyldiacetylene (CH(3)-C[triple bond]C-C[triple bond]CH). The reaction of allene with ethynyl gives 35-45% ethynylallene, 20-25% methyldiacetylene and 45-30% 1,4-pentadiyne (HC[triple bond]C-CH(2)-C[triple bond]CH). Diacetylene is most likely not produced by this reaction; an upper limit of 30% on the branching fraction to diacetylene can be derived from the present experiment. The mechanisms of polyynes formation by these reactions as well as the implications for Titan's atmospheric chemistry are discussed. 相似文献
