采用复高斯展开法和维格纳分布函数(WDF),推导出了截断光束的二阶矩矩阵通过大气湍流的传输公式。研究表明,将硬边光阑的复高斯展开函数引入z=0平面处的WDF中,能够避免截断光束二阶矩的积分发散问题,得到z=0平面处二阶矩的解析结果,并且保证了精度,从而方便地得到截断光束在大气湍流中传输的二阶矩矩阵。实验所得到的结果具有一般性,即无截断光束的二阶矩矩阵通过大气湍流传输和截断光束的二阶矩矩阵在自由空间的传输都可以分别作为特例给出。 相似文献

By using the Wigner distribution function (WDF), a general closed-form expression for the spectrum of twisted anisotropic Gaussian Schell-model (AGSM) beams in passage through a first-order ABCD system is derived. The spectral changes of twisted AGSM beams propagating in free space and through a thin lens, and the spectral changes of conversional Gaussian-Schell model (GSM) beams are treated as special cases of our general expression. Our theoretical and numerical results show that the WDF provides a powerful and simple tool in analyzing propagation properties of general AGSM beams. Specifically, the spectral behavior of twisted AGSM beams and conventional GSM beams can be treated in a unified and analytical way. 相似文献

This paper shows under what condition the well-knownABCD law — which can be applied to describe the propagation of one-dimensional Gaussian light through first-order optical systems (orABCD systems) — can be extended to more than one dimension. It is shown that in the two-dimensional (or higher-dimensional) case anABCD law only holds for partially coherent Gaussian light for which the matrix of second-order moments of the Wigner distribution function is proportional to a symplectic matrix. Moreover, it is shown that this is the case if we are dealing with a special kind of Gaussian Schell model light, for which the real parts of the quadratic forms that arise in the exponents of the Gaussians are described by the same real, positive-definite symmetric matrix. 相似文献

Linear canonical transform (LCT) form a three-parameter family of intergral transforms with wide application in optics. In this paper, we investigate the linear canonical Wigner distribution (LCWD) which is based on the LCT and the classical Wigner distribution (WD). Firstly, the definition of LCWD is discussed. Moreover, the transformation law for the LCWD through a first-order optical system is derived. This new phase-space distribution provides analysis of signals in both space and LCT domains simultaneously. Then, the main properties of LCWD are investigated in detail. Finally, the application of the LCWD is presented. The LCWD is found to be the appropriate phase-space distribution function for light-beam characterization in first-order optical system. Moreover, the moment matrix formalism for beam characterization is studied. 相似文献

基于非Kolmogorov谱模型,利用广义惠更斯-菲涅耳原理和维格纳分布函数的二阶矩定义,推导出部分相干厄米高斯(H-G)光束在非Kolmogonov大气湍流中传输因子的解析表达式,并用以研究了非Kolmogorov大气湍流对部分相干H-G光束传输因子的影响。结果表明,部分相干H-G光束在非Kolmogorov大气湍流中传输时,传输距离、湍流外尺度、广义结构常量和空间相关长度越小,湍流内尺度和光束阶数越大,光束传输受非Kolmogorov大气湍流影响越小,光束质量越好。当广义指数取3.11时,部分相干H-G光束在传输过程中表现的光束质量最差。 相似文献

The propagation of partially coherent beams through optical systems is computed numerically in one transverse dimension. The optical system is divided into different elementary segments, through which the propagation of light can be calculated by appropriate operators, working on the coherence function or the Wigner distribution function respectively. For the necessary changes between these two functions describing the partially coherent beams, the use of the remarkable z-transform seems to be an advantage. With this algorithm the grid and the resolution in the spatial frequency domain can be arbitrarily chosen in contrast to the usual Fourier transform, the influence of phase aberrations on the focusability of Gauss-Schell model beams is discussed as an application example of the numerical model. With the help of this tool, practical beam guiding systems can be simulated for use with multimode laser radiation. 相似文献

Based on the treatment that a rectangular function can be expanded as an approximate sum of complex Gaussian functions with finite numbers, the analytical expression of the Wigner distribution function for a Gaussian beam passing through a paraxial ABCD optical system with hard-edged aperture is obtained. By numerical simulation, it is shown that the effect of the aperture on the Wigner distribution function is prominent. By comparing the analytical results with the numerical integral results, it is shown that this method of expanding hard-edged aperture into Gaussian functions with finite numbers is proper and ascendant. This method could be extended to study the Wigner distribution functions of other light beams passing through a paraxial ABCD optical system with hard-edged aperture. 相似文献

Based on the extended Huygens–Fresnel principle and the second moments of the Wigner distribution function, an analytical expression for the propagation factors of partially coherent elegant Hermite-cosh-Gaussian beams (EHChGB) in non-Kolmogorov is derived. The M2 factor of partially coherent EHChGB through non-Kolmogorov turbulence is studied analytically and numerically. The results show that partially coherent EHCHGB with higher beam order and longer wavelengths is less affected by non-Kolmogorov turbulence. 相似文献

In this paper, a more generalized beam containing an elegant Hermite Gaussian beam and a cosine Gaussian beam, which is called elegant Hermite cosine Gaussian (EHcoG) beam, is introduced and studied. The propagation properties of the EHcoG laser beams through a first-order paraxial optical system are demonstrated analytically and numerically. The recurrence propagation equations of the EHcoG beams through a first-order paraxial optical system with and without aperture are derived, from which the analytical propagation expression for EHcoG beams of any order can be obtained by means of the recursive procedures. Based on the generalized truncated second-order moments, an approximate analytical formula of the beam propagation factor M~2 of high-power laser beams passing through the optical system with multiple hard-edged apertures is deduced. Numerical examples of the beams passing through an aperture-spatial filter are enclosed, and the influences of amplitude modulations(AMs) and phase fluctuations(PFs) on the beam propagation quality of high-power laser beams passing through the multi-apertured ABCD optical system are considered and discussed. It is shown that PFs are able to degrade the beam propagation quality of laser beams more than AMs when the high-power laser beams passing through the aperture-spatial filter, furthermore, one or two aperture-lens optical systems configured appropriate aperture parameters are both able to upgrade the beam propagation quality of high-power laser beams. The M~2 factor of Gaussian beam passing through the multi-aperture optical system is a special case in this paper. 相似文献

基于广义惠更斯-菲涅耳原理和Wigner分布函数二阶矩的定义,推导出直角坐标系下大气湍流中部分相干光的M2因子传输公式。以厄米-高斯(H-G)光束为例,给出了H-G光束通过大气湍流传输后M2因子的解析表达式,并采用Tatarskii谱,详细讨论了M2因子的主要影响因素。结果表明,M2因子主要由光束的束腰宽度、波长、光束阶数、大气湍流的折射率起伏结构常数和在湍流中传输距离决定。随着光束阶数、折射率起伏结构常数及传输距离的增大,M2因子明显增大,光束阶数越高,湍流对M2因子变化的影响越小。对于给定的传输距离,存在最佳初始束宽,使M2因子最小。 相似文献

Based on the Collins formula, the relationship between the coordinate transform matrix (WCTM) of the Wigner distribution function (WDF) and the ray transfer matrix (RTM) of an arbitrary first-order optical system has been derived. By using this relation and the definition of fractional Fourier transform (FRT) in terms of WDF rotation, it is concluded that an arbitrary first-order optical system can be generally decomposed into a thin lens and a FRT sub-system whose order is not unique and depends on two concrete decomposing operations on the system. And when the system is reciprocally symmetric, a FRT can be implemented by it. In addition, the composition, that is also the decomposition condition of the complicated FRT optical system by cascading a series of FRT subsystems has also been derived by using the operations of RTM. 相似文献

研究了光束通过大气湍流传输的高阶强度矩, 提出了大气湍流中光束高阶强度矩的推导方法, 并推导出了一至四阶光束强度矩传输的解析表达式. 所得结果具有一般性,任意某一光束在自由空间和大气湍流中传输的高阶强度矩均可作为本文结果的特例. 另一方面, 以高斯光束为例, 研究了其K参数在湍流大气中的传输规律. 研究表明,高斯光束在大气湍流中其K参数并不是一个传输不变量,它与传输距离、束腰半径、湍流内外尺度以及湍流强度均有关.这个结论与采用Rytov相位结构函数二次近似或强湍流近似下的结论不同,本文给出了合理解释.

Starting from flattened Gaussian beams, we deduce analytical expressions for the propagation of paraxial circular symmetric beams through a general first-order optical system. It is shown that the propagation of any scalar beam in a paraxial domain takes the same form as that in free space. Three parameters were introduced to characterize the evolution of the propagating beam. Numerical examples are also presented to illustrate the effectiveness of this method. 相似文献
