We propose a mathematical model of the changes occurring in the geometrical properties of the deuterium–tritium layer on the laser target in the process of its insertion into the reactor working chamber. The model is a parabolic equation of general form in spherical coordinates with nonlinear boundary conditions on a moving boundary. We show that under physically justified assumptions this problem may be regarded as a Stefan problem for a singularly perturbed parabolic equation. The first terms of the solution series are written out. Numerical calculations of the fuel layer degradation time are presented for a real target.  相似文献

The subject of this contribution is a certain thin skeletonal elastic shallow shell. The aim of analysis is to derive and apply a 2D-macroscopic model for shallow shells with the non-uniformly oscillating microstructure. The main feature of the proposed mathematical model is that the microstructure length parameter λ is similar compared to thickness δ of the shell (λ ≃ δ). The formulation of approximate mathematical model of these shells is based on a tolerance averaging approximation [5]. The purpose of this research is to solve the mixed integer constrained optimization problem with interval coefficient by a real-coded genetic algorithm (RCGA) with ranking selection, whole arithmetical crossover and non-uniform mutation for non-integer decision variables. In the ranking selection, as well as in finding the best solution in each generation of RCGA, recently developed modified definitions of order relations between interval numbers with respect to decision-making are used. Also, for integer decision variables, new types of crossover and mutation are introduced. This methodology is applied to solve a finite time horizon inventory model with constant lead-time, uniform demand rate and a discount by paying an amount of money in advance. Moreover, different inventory costs are considered to be interval valued. According to the consumption of items during lead-time and reorder level, two cases may arise. For each case, the mathematical model becomes a constrained nonlinear mixed integer problem with interval objective. Our objective is to determine the optimal number of cycles in the finite time horizon, lot-size in each cycle and optimal profit. The model is illustrated with some numerical examples and sensitivity analysis has been done graphically with the variation of different inventory parameters.  相似文献

The problem of estimating a certainty level for the and and or of two assertions when certainty levels are known for each assertion individually is discussed with reference to the construction of a fuzzy expert system shell. The importance of prior associations between the assertions is pointed out. To deal with this problem a ‘possibility interval set’ is proposed in which the grade of membership in a conventional fuzzy set is replaced by a two-element vector, the minimum and maximum grades of membership possible given existing knowledge. Operators are proposed for possibility interval sets corresponding to the conventional and, or and not which have desirable mathematical properties, and which can be used in a fuzzy expert system shell to avoid difficulties posed by the Zadeh and Lukasiewicz operators. An association measure is proposed which lends itself to informed guesses regarding prior associations and which can be used to reduce the gap between lower and upper certainty levels.  相似文献

As one of the most important components of satellites, the thruster must maintain high reliability, but the assessment is difficult when lacking test failure data. When conducting hot test of the satellite thruster, we encountered the problem of reliability assessment on type-I censored data with only one failure, which is common for small sample tests. This paper proposes a novel interval statistic based reliability analysis method, which can fulfill the life information from the failure time to the censored time ignored by conventional methods, and improve the assessment accuracy. In this paper, a life distribution model is established by proper failure mechanism analysis and prior test information exploitation. As thrust chamber burning-through has been considered as the main failure mode, life test of the chamber coating was conducted under different thermal conditions to obtain the model parameter. Based on the interval statistic theory, a detailed derivation is illustrated. Then, reliability assessment and life prediction for the satellite thruster in both transfer orbit phase and synchronous orbit phase have been achieved, and the results show that our method performs very well, which provides an important way for dealing with test data with only one failure.  相似文献

A mathematical model of a controlled shell structure based on Hamilton’s principle and the generalized Ritz–Galerkin method is proposed in this paper. The problem of minimizing the stress energy is solved explicitly for a static version of this model. For the dynamical system under consideration, a procedure for estimating external disturbances and the state vector is derived. We also propose an observer design scheme and solve the stabilization problem for an arbitrary dimension of the linearized model. This approach allows us to perform control design for double-curved shells of complex geometry by combining analytical computation of the controller parameters with numerical data that represent the reference configuration and modal displacements of the shell. As an example, the parameters of our model are validated by results of a finite element analysis for the Stuttgart SmartShell structure.  相似文献

A stress state of a thin linearly elastic shell containing both isolated as well as continuously distributed dislocations and disclinations is considered using the classical Kirchhoff–Love model. A variational formulation of the problem of the equilibrium of both a multiply connected shell with Volterra dislocations as well as shells containing dislocations and disclinations distributed with a known density is given. The mathematical equivalence between the boundary-value problem of the stress state of a shell caused by distributed dislocations and disclinations and the boundary-value problem of the equilibrium of a shell under the action of specified distributed loads is established. A number of problems on dislocations and disclinations in a closed spherical shell is solved. The problem of infinitesimally deformations of a surface when there are distributed dislocations is formulated.  相似文献

In a given project network, execution of each activity in normal duration requires utilization of certain resources. If faster execution of an activity is desired then additional resources at extra cost would be required. Given a project network, the cost structure for each activity and a planning horizon, the project compression problem is concerned with the determination of optimal schedule (duration) of performing each activity while satisfying given restrictions and minimizing the total cost of project execution. This paper considers the project compression problem with time dependent cost structure for each activity. The planning horizon is divided into several regular time intervals over which the cost structure of an activity may vary. But the cost structure of the activities remains the same (constant) within a time interval. Key events of the project attract penalty for finishing earlier or later than the corresponding target times. The objective is to find an optimal project schedule minimizing the total project cost. We present a mathematical model for this problem, develop some heuristics and an exact branch and bound algorithm. Using simulated problems we provide an insight into the computational performances of heuristics and the branch and bound algorithm.  相似文献

机组成本是仅次于燃料成本的第二大直接运营成本,合理的进行机组人员排班对降低航空公司运营成本有着重要意义。然而,机组排班问题是复杂性非常高的组合优化问题,属于NP难题。本文在分析机组排班问题研究进展的基础上,采用混合集合规划方法,综合考虑多种约束,建立了更具有实用性的机组排班优化模型。本文将运筹学理论与业务逻辑相结合,设计了高效的求解策略。利用多组航空公司真实数据对模型进行测试,测试结果表明,模型可以在较短时间内有效求解达到实际应用规模的机组排班问题。  相似文献

This work is concerned with the relaxation-time limit in the multidimensional isentropic hydrodynamic model for semiconductors in the critical Besov space. Firstly, we construct formal approximations of the initial layer solution to the nonlinear problem by the matched expansion method. Then, assuming some regularity of the solution to the reduced problem, and proves the existence of classical solutions in the uniform time interval where the reduced problem has a smooth solution and justify the validity of the formal approximations in any fixed compact subset of the uniform time interval.  相似文献

We develop a mathematical model of the boundary value problem describing magnetic field shielding by a cylindrical thin-walled shell (screen) made of materials whose permeability depends nonlinearly on the magnetic field intensity. Integral boundary conditions on the shell surface are used. A numerical method is suggested for solving a nonlinear boundary value problem of magnetostatics with integral boundary conditions. The shielding efficiency coefficient characterizing the external magnetic field attenuation when passing into the interior of the cylindrical screen is studied numerically.  相似文献

This paper presents a new nonlinear reaction–diffusion–convection system coupled with a system of ordinary differential equations that models a combustion front in a multilayer porous medium. The model includes heat transfer between the layers and heat loss to the external environment. A few assumptions are made to simplify the model, such as incompressibility; then, the unknowns are determined to be the temperature and fuel concentration in each layer. When the fuel concentration in each layer is a known function, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a classical solution for the initial and boundary value problem for the corresponding system. The proof uses a new approach for combustion problems in porous media. We construct monotone iterations of upper and lower solutions and prove that these iterations converge to a unique solution for the problem, first locally and then, in time, globally.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with a free boundary problem describing the oxidation process of silicon. Its mathematical model is a compressible Navier-Stokes equations coupling a parabolic equation and a hyperbolic one. Surface tension is involved at the free boundary and density equation is non-homogeneous. It is proved that for arbitrary data satisfying only natural consistency conditions the problem is uniquely solvable on some finite time interval. 给出了一类密封容器组合壳自由振动问题的精确解,基于Love经典薄壳理论,导出了具有任意经线形状的旋转壳体在轴对称振动时的基本方程,组合壳结构中球壳与柱壳的连接条件是通过连接处的变形连续性和内力平衡关系得出的。问题的数学模型被归结为常微分方程组在球壳和 壳两个区间上的特征值问题。振动模态函数是由Legendre和三角函数构造出来,并且得到了精确的频率方程。所有的计算都是在Maple程序下运行的,无论是精确的符号运算还是具有所需有效数学精度的数值计算,都表明该文所编译的Maple程序是简单而有效的。固有频率的数值结果同文献中有限元法和其它数值方法的结果作了比较。作为一个标准,该文给出的精确解对于检验各种近似方法的精密度是有价值的。  相似文献
