On t-Dimension over Strong Mori Domains

In this note we prove that if R is a strong Mori domain with t-dim R = n and with countably many prime v-ideals, then there is a chain of rings between R and R^w R1=R belong to R2……belong to Rn lohtuin in R^w such that each R, is also a strong Mori domain and t-dim Rk=n - k ＋ 1 for k = 1,2,..., n.

Let R ■ T be an extension of commutative rings.T is called w-linked over R if T as an R-module is a w-module.In the case of R ■ T ■ Q 0 （R）,T is called a w-linked overring of R.As a generalization of Wang-McCsland-Park-Chang Theorem,we show that if R is a reduced ring,then R is a w-Noetherian ring with w-dim（R） 1 if and only if each w-linked overring T of R is a w-Noetherian ring with w-dim（T ） 1.In particular,R is a w-Noetherian ring with w-dim（R） = 0 if and only if R is an Artinian ring.

Let Nn（R）be the algebra consisting of all strictly upper triangular n × n matrices over a commutative ring R with the identity.An R-bilinear map φ ：Nn（R）×Nn（R）→ Nn（R）is called a biderivation if it is a derivation with respect to both arguments.In this paper,we define the notions of central biderivation and extremal biderivation of Nn（R）,and prove that any biderivation of Nn（R）can be decomposed as a sum of an inner biderivation,central biderivation and extremal biderivation for n ≥ 5.     

REMARKS ON JOHN DISKS

Let D■R2 be a Jordan domain,D*=R2\D,the exterior of D.In this article,the authors obtained the following results:(1)If D is a John disk,then D is an outer linearly locally connected domain;(2)If D* is a John disk,then D is an inner linearly locally connected domain;(3)A homeomorphism f:R 2 →R 2 is a quasiconformal mapping if and only if f(D)is a John disk for any John disk D■R 2 ;and(4)If D is a bounded quasidisk,then D is a John disk,and there exists an unbounded quasidisk which is not a John disk.

Let R be a commutative ring with identity, Nn（R） the matrix algebra consisting of all n × n strictly upper triangular matrices over R with the usual product operation. An R-linear map φ ： Nn（R） → Nn（R） is said to be an SZ-derivation of Nn（R） if x2 = 0 implies that φ（x）x＋xφ（x） = 0. It is said to be an S-derivation of Nn（R） if φ（x2） = φ（x）x＋xφ（x） for any x ∈ Nn（R）. It is said to be a PZ-derivation of Nn（R） if xy = 0 implies that φ（x）y＋xφ（y） = 0. In this paper, by constructing several types of standard SZ-derivations of Nn（R）, we first characterize all SZ-derivations of Nn（R）. Then, as its application, we determine all S-derivations and PZ- derivations of Nn（R）, respectively.

Let R be a commutative ring with identity, Tn （R） the R-algebra of all upper triangular n by n matrices over R. In this paper, it is proved that every local Jordan derivation of Tn （R） is an inner derivation and that every local Jordan automorphism of Tn（R） is a Jordan automorphism. As applications, we show that local derivations and local automorphisms of Tn （R） are inner.     

Local Characterizations of Left Noetherian Rings and Left Ideals

Let R be a ring with identity, M a maximal ideal of R.Y. Lequain proved the following results in [1]: (a) R is a Noetherian ring every ideal contained in M is finitely generated. (b) R is a Dedekind domain every nonzero ideal contained in M isinvertible.     

Additive preservers of idempotence and Jordan homorphisms between rings of square matrices

Suppose R is an idempotence-diagonalizable ring. Let n and m be two arbitrary positive integers with n ≥ 3. We denote by Mn（R） the ring of all n x n matrices over R. Let （Jn（R）） be the additive subgroup of Mn（R） generated additively by all idempotent matrices. Let JJ = （Jn（R）） or Mn（R）. We describe the additive preservers of idempotence from JJ to Mm（R） when 2 is a unit of R. Thereby, we also characterize the Jordan （respectively, ring and ring anti-） homomorphisms from Mn （R） to Mm （R） when 2 is a unit of R.     

On an Asymptotic Behavior of Exponential Functional Equation

The stability problems of the exponential （functional） equation on a restricted domain will be investigated, and the results will be applied to the study of an asymptotic property of that equation. More precisely, the following asymptotic property is proved： Let X be a real （or complex） normed space. A mapping f ： X → C is exponential if and only if f（x ＋ y） - f（x）f（y） → 0 as ｜｜x｜｜ ＋ ｜｜y｜｜ → ∞ under some suitable conditions.     

关于FP-内射维数的一个注记

Let R and S be a left coherent ring and a right coherent ring respectively,RωS be a faithfully balanced self-orthogonal bimodule.We give a sufficient condition to show that l.FP-idR（ω） ∞ implies G-dimω（M） ∞,where M ∈ modR.This result generalizes the result by Huang and Tang about the relationship between the FP-injective dimension and the generalized Gorenstein dimension in 2001.In addition,we get that the left orthogonal dimension is equal to the generalized Gorenstein dimension when G-dimω（M） is finite.

Existence of solutions of the Neumann problem for a class of equations involving the p-Laplacian via a variational principle of Ricceri

In this paper we deal with the existence of weak solutions for the following Neumann problem¶¶$ \left\{{ll} -\mathrm{div}(|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u) + \lambda(x)|u|^{p-2}u = \alpha(x)f(u) + \beta(x)g(u) $ \left\{\begin{array}{ll} -\mathrm{div}(|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u) + \lambda(x)|u|^{p-2}u = \alpha(x)f(u) + \beta(x)g(u) &; $ \mbox{in $ \mbox{in \Omega$}\\ {\partial u \over \partial \nu} = 0 $}\\ {\partial u \over \partial \nu} = 0 &; $ \mbox{on $ \mbox{on \partial \Omega$} \right. $}\end{array} \right. ¶¶ where $ \nu $ \nu is the outward unit normal to the boundary $ \partial\Omega $ \partial\Omega of the bounded open set _boxclose^N \Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^N . The existence of solutions, for the above problem, is proved by applying a critical point theorem recently obtained by B. Ricceri as a consequence of a more general variational principle.     

Infinitely many low- and high-energy solutions for a class of elliptic equations with variable exponent

This paper is concerned with the $p(x)$-Laplacian equation of the form $$ \left\{\begin{array}{ll} -\Delta_{p(x)} u=Q(x)|u|^{r(x)-2}u, &\mbox{in}\ \Omega,\u=0, &\mbox{on}\ \partial \Omega, \end{array}\right. \eqno{0.1} $$ where $\Omega\subset\R^N$ is a smooth bounded domain, $1p^+$ and $Q: \overline{\Omega}\to\R$ is a nonnegative continuous function. We prove that (0.1) has infinitely many small solutions and infinitely many large solutions by using the Clark''s theorem and the symmetric mountain pass lemma.

本文研究形如△((△nu)(p-1) )=f(|x|,u,|(?)u|)u-β,x∈RN的奇异非线性多调和方程在RN上的正整体解,此处P>1,β≥0是常数,n是自然数,f:R × R ×R →R 是一个连续函数, ξδ*:=sign(ξ)·|ξ|δ,,ξ∈R,δ>0,给出了该类方程具有无穷多个其渐进阶刚好为|x|2n的正整体解的充分条件与必要条件.这些结论可以推广到更一般的方程.

We present various inequalities for the error function. One of our theorems states: Let α?≥?1. In this paper,we are interested in the existence of positive solutions for the Kirchhoff type problems{-(a_1 + b_1M_1(∫_?|▽u|~pdx))△_(_pu) = λf(u,v),in ?,-(a_2 + b_2M_2(∫?|▽v|~qdx))△_(_qv) = λg(u,v),in ?,u = v = 0,on ??,where 1 p,q N,M i:R_0~+→ R~+(i = 1,2) are continuous and increasing functions.λ is a parameter,f,g ∈ C~1((0,∞) ×(0,∞)) × C([0,∞) × [0,∞)) are monotone functions such that f_s,f_t,g_s,g_t ≥ 0,and f(0,0) 0,g(0,0) 0(semipositone).Our proof is based on the sub-and super-solutions techniques.     

Entropy solutions to nonlinear elliptic anisotropic problem with variable exponent

In this work, we give an existence result of entropy solutions for nonlinear anisotropic elliptic equation of the type $$- \mbox{div} \big( a(x,u,\nabla u)\big)+ g(x,u,\nabla u) + |u|^{p_{0}(x)-2}u = f-\mbox{div} \phi(u),\quad \mbox{ in } \Omega,$$ where $-\mbox{div}\big(a(x,u,\nabla u)\big)$ is a Leray-Lions operator, $\phi \in C^{0}(I\!\!R,I\!\!R^{N})$. The function $g(x,u,\nabla u)$ is a nonlinear lower order term with natural growth with respect to $|\nabla u|$, satisfying the sign condition and the datum $f$ belongs to $L^1(\Omega)$.     

Ext_F-投射生成子与Ext_F-内射余生成子

设A是Abel范畴,F是Ext_A~1(-,-):A~(op)×A→A的加法子双函子.首先研究了Ext_(F-)投射生成子与Ext_F-内射余生成子的同调性质,其次引入了W_F-Gorenstein模的概念.特别地,证明了如果重复W_F-Gorenstein模的定义程序将不会产生新的模类.最后,统一并推广了许多参考文献中的结论.
