An Example of Generalized Quasi-Variational Inequality

We provide an example which shows that Yao's recent result strictly generalizes earlier corresponding results on variational and quasi-variational inequality problems. Moreover, we give a noncompact extension of Yao's result.

Generalized Quasi-Variational Inequalities in Infinite-Dimensional Normed Spaces

In this paper, we deal with the following problem: given a real normed space E with topological dual E*, a closed convex set XE, two multifunctions :X2^X and , find such that We extend to the above problem a result established by Ricceri for the case (x)X, where in particular the multifunction is required only to satisfy the following very general assumption: each set (x) is nonempty, convex, and weakly-star compact, and for each yX–:X the set is compactly closed. Our result also gives a partial affirmative answer to a conjecture raised by Ricceri himself.     

Geometric Properties and Coincidence Theorems with Applications to Generalized Vector Equilibrium Problems

The present paper is divided into two parts. In the first part, we derive a Fan-KKM type theorem and establish some Fan type geometric properties of convex spaces. By applying our results, we also obtain some coincidence theorems and fixed-point theorems in the setting of convex spaces. The second part deals with the applications of our coincidence theorem to establish some existence results for a solution to the generalized vector equilibrium problems.     

On Parametric Generalized Quasi-Variational Inequalities

In this paper, by using the projection method of Dafermos (Ref. 1), we study the behavior and sensitivity analysis of the solution set for a class of parametric generalized quasi-variational inequalities. Our approach and results are new and have a strong geometric flavor.     

Generalized Quasi-Variational Inequalities Without Continuities

Generalized Vector Variational Inequalities

In this paper, we introduce a generalized vector variational inequality problem (GVVIP) which extends and unifies vector variational inequalities as well as classical variational inequalities in the literature. The concepts of generalized C-pseudomonotone and generalized hemicontinuous operators are introduced. Some existence results for GVVIP are obtained with the assumptions of generalized C-pseudomonotonicity and generalized hemicontinuity. These results appear to be new and interesting. New existence results of the classical variational inequality are also obtained.     

Systems of Simultaneous Generalized Vector Quasiequilibrium Problems and their Applications

In this paper, we introduce systems of simultaneous generalized vector equilibrium problems and prove the existence of their solutions. As application of our results, we derive the existence theorems for solutions of systems of vector saddle–point problems. Consequently, we prove the existence of a solution of systems of generalized minimax inequalities. Further application of our results is also given to establish the existence of a solution of a Debreu-type equilibrium problem for vector-valued functions. Existence of Solutions for Generalized Vector Variational-like Inequalities

In this paper, we consider a generalized vector variational-like inequality problem (for short, GVVLIP), which includes generalized vector variational inequalities, vector variational inequalities and classical variational inequalities as special cases. The concepts of generalized C-pseudomonotone-like and generalized H-hemicontinuous-like operators are introduced. Some existence results for GVVLIP are obtained under the assumptions of generalized C-pseudomonotone-like property and generalized H-hemicontinuous-like property. These results appear to be new and interesting. New existence results of the classical variational inequality are also obtained. Generalized Symmetric Vector Quasiequilibrium Problems

We establish an existence result for scalar quasiequilibrium problems without any continuity requirement on noncompact subsets of locally convex topological vector spaces. As a consequence, we obtain a solution of symmetric scalar quasiequilibrium problem. Moreover, using a so-called nonlinear scalarization function, existence theorems for vector quasiequilibrium problems and general symmetric vector quasiequilibrium problems are obtained. On the Stability of Generalized Vector Quasivariational Inequality Problems

In this paper, we obtain some stability results for generalized vector quasivariational inequality problems. We prove that the solution set is a closed set and establish the upper semicontinuity property of the solution set for perturbed generalized vector quasivariational inequality problems. These results extend those obtained in Ref. 1. We obtain also the lower semicontinuity property of the solution set for perturbed classical variational inequalities. Several examples are given for the illustration of our results.

Generalized Vector Equilibrium Problems for Pseudomonotone Multivalued Bifunctions<Superscript><Emphasis Type="Bold">1</Emphasis></Superscript>

In this paper, we apply a new version of the Brézis, Nirenberg, and Stampacchia theorem; we use pseudomonotonicity and some coercivity conditions to establish some existence result for a solution of generalized vector equilibrium problems for multivalued bifunctions. The proper quasiconvexity of multivalued bifunctions is introduced and existence theorems for generalized vector equilibrium problems related to multivalued mappings with the KKM property are obtained. The new results extend and modify various existence theorems for similar problems.     

Generalized Vector Variational Inequalities over Countable Product of Sets

In this paper, we consider vector variational inequalities with set-valued mappings over countable product sets in a real Banach space setting. By employing concepts of relative pseudomonotonicity, we establish several existence results for generalized vector variational inequalities and for systems of generalized vector variational inequalities. These results strengthen previous existence results which were based on the usual monotonicity type assumptions     

Generalized Vector Equilibrium Problems in Generalized Convex Spaces

In this paper, we introduce and study a class of abstract generalized vector equilibrium problems (AGVEP) in generalized convex spaces which includes most vector equilibrium problems, vector variational inequality problems, generalized vector equilibrium problems, and generalized vector variational inequality problems as special cases. By using the generalized GKKM and generalized SKKM type theorems due to the first author, some new existence results of equilibrium points for the AGVEP are established in noncompact generalized convex spaces. As consequences, some recent results in the literature are obtained under much weaker assumptions.
