Two Theorems on Volume and Dihedral Angles of a n—dimensional Simplex

In this paper,we obtain thorem 1 on volum of a n-dimensional simplex and theorem 2 on dihedral angles of a simplex.Besides.We obtain Vasic inequality in E^n and its extension.The results in this paper contain and improve the results in paper[1]、[2]、[3]、[4].

Classification of Isometric Immersions of the Hyperbolic Space H 2 into H 3

We transform the problem of determining isometric immersions from H ²(-1) into H ³(c) (c of solving an elliptic Monge--Ampère equation on the unit disc. Then we classify isometric immersions which possess bounded principal curvatures.     

Well-Posedness for a Class of Hyperbolic Systems of Conservation Laws in Several Space Dimensions

Abstract

In this paper we consider a system of conservation laws in several space dimensions whose nonlinearity is due only to the modulus of the solution. This system, first considered by Keyfitz and Kranzer in one space dimension, has been recently studied by many authors. In particular, using standard methods from DiPerna–Lions theory, we improve the results obtained by the first and third author, showing existence, uniqueness and stability results in the class of functions whose modulus satisfies, in the entropy sense, a suitable scalar conservation law. In the last part of the paper we consider a conjecture on renormalizable solutions and show that this conjecture implies another one recently made by Bressan in connection with the system of Keyfitz and Kranzer.     

Minimal Hypersurfaces in Hyperbolic Spaces

In this paper, we reprove a theorem of M. Anderson [Invent. Math., 69 （1982）, pp. 477-494] which established the existence of a minimal hypersurface in the hyperbolic space with prescribed asymptotic boundary with non-negative mean curvature in the non-parametric case. We use the mean curvature flow method.

Two bisectors in complex hyperbolic space H ⁿ are called cotranchal if they possess a common slice. We define a natural thing called the prespinal angle between two such bisectors and use it to study the intersection of two such bisectors.

Some Physics Questions in Hyperbolic Complex Space

In hyperbolic complex space, the Clifford algebra is isomorphic to that of a corresponding Minkowski geometry. We define the hyperbolic imaginary unit j (j² = 1, j ≠   ±  1, j*  =   − j) to generate a class of Clifford algebras. We can introduce a class of non-Euclidean spaces and discuss the general form of 4-dimensional Lorentz transformation, and related special relativistic physics.     

The Infinite Dimensional Hyperbolic Space H~∞ Does Not Have Property A

The author constructs a sequence of cubes in the infinitely dimensional hyperbolic space H∞ which is equi-coarsely equivalent to Z2n. As a corollary, it is proved that the infinitely dimensional hyperbolic space H∞ does not have property A.

The Notion of Vertex Operator Coalgebra and a Geometric Interpretation

The notion of vertex operator coalgebra is presented and motivated via the geometry of conformal field theory. Specifically, we describe the category of geometric vertex operator coalgebras, whose objects have comultiplicative structures meromorphically induced by conformal equivalence classes of worldsheets. We then show this category is isomorphic to the category of vertex operator coalgebras, which is defined in the language of formal algebra. The latter has several characteristics which give it the flavor of a coalgebra with respect to the structure of a vertex operator algebra and several characteristics that distinguish it from a standard dual—both of them will be highlighted.     

Powers of the Vertex Cover Ideal of a Chordal Graph

In this article, Cohen–Macaulay chordal graphs and generalized star graphs are studied to show that all powers of the vertex cover ideal of such graphs have linear quotients. Moreover, it is shown that the Alexander dual of the clique complex of any chordal graph is vertex decomposable.
