In this paper, an adaptive sliding mode controller for a novel class of fractional-order chaotic systems with uncertainty and external disturbance is proposed to realize chaos control. The bounds of the uncertainty and external disturbance are assumed to be unknown. Appropriate adaptive laws are designed to tackle the uncertainty and external disturbance. In the adaptive sliding mode control (ASMC) strategy, fractional-order derivative is introduced to obtain a novel sliding surface. The adaptive sliding mode controller is shown to guarantee asymptotical stability of the considered fractional-order chaotic systems in the presence of uncertainty and external disturbance. Some numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed ASMC scheme.  相似文献

This paper addresses a unified mathematical expression describing a class of chaotic systems, for which the problem of adaptive synchronization between two nearly identical chaotic and hyper-chaotic systems with uncertain parameters is studied. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, a novel adaptive synchronization controller is designed, and the analytic expression of the controller and the adaptive laws of parameters are developed. The controller is simple and systemic, no parameters of the slave system are included in the controller, and, for some specific error systems, the controller can be simplified ulteriorly. New chaotic and a new hyper-chaotic systems with uncertain parameters are taken as the examples to show the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive synchronization method.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of control for a class of chaotic systems is considered. The nonlinear functions of chaotic systems are not necessarily to satisfy the Lipsichtz conditions, but bounded by a polynomial with the gains unknown. Employing adaptive method, the corresponding controller which renders the closed-loop system asymptotically stable is constructed. The designed controller is robust with respect to certain class of disturbances in the chaotic systems. Simulations on unified chaotic systems and Arneodo chaotic system are performed and the results verify the validity of the proposed techniques.  相似文献

This paper describes an adaptive fuzzy sliding-mode control algorithm for controlling unknown or uncertain, multi-input multi-output (MIMO), possibly chaotic, dynamical systems. The control approach encompasses a fuzzy system and a robust controller. The fuzzy system is designed to mimic an ideal sliding-mode controller, and the robust controller compensates the difference between the fuzzy controller and the ideal one. The parameters of the fuzzy system, as well as the uncertainty bound of the robust controller, are tuned adaptively. The adaptive laws are derived in the Lyapunov sense to guarantee the asymptotic stability and tracking of the controlled system. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown by applying it to some well-known chaotic systems.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust control system combining backstepping and sliding mode control techniques is used to realize the synchronization of two gap junction coupled chaotic FitzHugh-Nagumo (FHN) neurons in the external electrical stimulation. A backstepping sliding mode approach is applied firstly to compensate the uncertainty which occur in the control system. However, the bound of uncertainty is necessary in the design of the backstepping sliding mode controller. To relax the requirement for the bound of uncertainty, an adaptive backstepping sliding mode controller with a simple adaptive law to adapt the uncertainty in real time is designed. The adaptive backstepping sliding mode control system is robust for time-varying external disturbances. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the control scheme.  相似文献

This paper investigates the modified function projective synchronization (MFPS) between two different dimensional chaotic systems with fully unknown or partially unknown parameters via increased order. Based on the Lyapunov stability theorem and adaptive control method, a unified adaptive controller and parameters update law can be designed for achieving the MFPS of the two different chaotic systems with different orders. The unified chaotic system incorporates the behaviors of the Lorenz, the Chen and the Lü chaotic systems. This paper deals with the synchronization of two identical unified chaotic systems where the slave system is assumed to have a single input. A sliding mode controller is proposed to synchronize the two systems. The asymptotic convergence to zero of the errors between the states of the master and the slave systems is shown. Simulations results are presented to illustrate the proposed controller; they indicate that the designed controller is able to synchronize the unified chaotic systems. Also, simulation results show that the proposed control scheme is robust to random bounded disturbances acting on the master system. Moreover, the proposed scheme is applied to the secure communications field, where simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme is effective.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of projective synchronization of chaotic systems and switched chaotic systems by adaptive control methods. First, a necessary and sufficient condition is proposed to show how many state variables can realize projective synchronization under a linear feedback controller for the chaotic systems. Then, accordingly, a new algorithm is given to select all state variables that can realize projective synchronization. Furthermore, according to the results of the projective synchronization of chaotic systems, the problem of projective synchronization of the switched chaotic systems comprised by the unified chaotic systems is investigated, and an adaptive global linear feedback controller with only one input channel is designed, which can realize the projective synchronization under the arbitrary switching law. It is worth mentioning that the proposed method can also realize complete synchronization of the switched chaotic systems. Finally, the numerical simulation results verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust adaptive neural network synchronization controller is proposed for two chaotic systems with input time delay and uncertainty. The studied chaotic system may possess a wide class of nonlinear time-delayed input uncertainty. The radial basis function (RBF) neural network is used to approximate the unknown continuous bounded function item of the time delay uncertainty via appropriate weight value updated law. With the output of RBF neural network, a robust adaptive synchronization control scheme is presented for the time delay uncertain chaotic system. Finally, a simulation example is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization control scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive controller is designed to ensure robust synchronization of two different chaotic systems with input nonlinearities. For this purpose, a stable sliding surface is defined and an adaptive sliding mode controller is designed to achieve robust synchronization of the systems when the control input is influenced through nonlinearities produced by actuator or external uncertainty recourses. The adaptation law guarantees the synchronization assuming of unknown model uncertainty. Furthermore by adding an integrator and incorporating a saturation function in the control law, the chattering phenomenon caused by the sign function is avoided. The simulation results for synchronization of Chua’s circuit and Genesio systems show the efficiency of the proposed technique.  相似文献

The space-clamped FitzHugh–Nagumo (SCFHN) neuron exhibits complex chaotic firing when the amplitude of the external current falls into a certain area. To control the undesirable chaos in SCFHN neuron, a passive control law is presented in this paper, which transforms the chaotic SCFHN neuron into an equivalent passive system. It is proved that the equivalent system can be asymptotically stabilized at any desired fixed state, namely, chaos in SCFHN neuron can be controlled. Moreover, to eliminate the influence of undeterministic parameters, an adaptive law is introduced into the designed controller. Computer simulation results show that the proposed controller is very effective and robust against the uncertainty in systemic parameters.  相似文献

In this paper, new adaptive synchronous criteria for a general class of n-dimensional non-autonomous chaotic systems with linear and nonlinear feedback controllers are derived. By suitable separation between linear and nonlinear terms of the chaotic system, the phenomenon of stable chaotic synchronization can be achieved using an appropriate adaptive controller of feedback signals. This method can also be generalized to a form for chaotic synchronization or hyper-chaotic synchronization. Based on stability theory on non-autonomous chaotic systems, some simple yet less conservative criteria for global asymptotic synchronization of the autonomous and non-autonomous chaotic systems are derived analytically. Furthermore, the results are applied to some typical chaotic systems such as the Duffing oscillators and the unified chaotic systems, and the numerical simulations are given to verify and also visualize the theoretical results.  相似文献

Chaotic dynamics provide a fast and simple means to create an excellent image cryptosystem, because it is extremely sensitive to initial conditions and system parameters, pseudorandomness, and non-periodicity. However, most chaos-based image encryption schemes are symmetric cryptographic techniques, which have been proven to be more vulnerable, compared to an asymmetric cryptosystem. This paper develops an asymmetric image cryptosystem, based on the adaptive synchronization of two different chaotic systems, namely a unified chaotic system and a cellular neural network. An adaptive controller with parameter update laws is formulated, using the Lyapunov stability theory, to asymptotically synchronize the two chaotic systems. The synchronization controller is embedded in the image cryptosystem and generates a pair of asymmetric keys, for image encryption and decryption. Using numerical simulations, three sets of experiments are conducted to evaluate the feasibility and reliability of the proposed chaos-based image cryptosystem.  相似文献

The present article aims to study the projective synchronization between two identical and non?identical time?delayed chaotic systems with fully unknown parameters. Here the asymptotical and global synchronization are achieved by means of adaptive control approach based on Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional theory. The proposed technique is successfully applied to investigate the projective synchronization for the pairs of time?delayed chaotic systems amongst advanced Lorenz system as drive system with multiple delay Rössler system and time?delayed Chua's oscillator as response system. An adaptive controller and parameter update laws for unknown parameters are designed so that the drive system is controlled to be the response system. Numerical simulation results, depicted graphically, are carried out using Runge–Kutta Method for delay?differential equations, showing that the design of controller and the adaptive parameter laws are very effective and reliable and can be applied for synchronization of time?delayed chaotic systems. Chaotic systems in practice are always influenced by some unknown factors, which may make the chaotic behavior completely different from that of unaffected system. In this paper, generalized lag-synchronization for a general class of coupled chaotic systems with mixed delays, uncertain parameters, as well as external perturbations is investigated. A simple but all-powerful robust adaptive controller is designed to achieve this goal. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, integral inequality and Barbalat lemma, rigorous proofs are given for the asymptotic stability of the error systems of the coupled systems with or without external perturbations. Sufficient conditions for inaccuracy or accuracy estimation of unknown parameters are also given. Moreover, the designed adaptive controller has better anti-interference capacity than those of references. Numerical simulations verify the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

Chaos synchronization in unified chaotic systems with uncertain parameters is discussed in this paper. On the basis of the control Lyapunov function (CLF), a feedback controller is designed which is only related to the boundaries of the uncertain parameters. Synchronization of two identical unified chaotic systems with different initial conditions is realized. Simulation results for Lorenz, Lü and Chen chaotic systems are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, based on the stability properties of a passive system, a simple linear state feedback controller is proposed to realize the stability control of a unified chaotic system. Using this method, we can render the non-passive unified chaotic system to be equivalent to a passive one.
