We investigate a forced Korteweg–de Vries (fKdV) equation, u,t+cu,x+αuu,x+βu,xxx=βF(t), which arises in the modelling of tsunami generation by submarine landslides. Approximate symmetries are found for the fKdV equation using the method as proposed by Fushchich and Shtelen [6]. Symmetries are found to second order in the perturbation parameter using the MAPLE symmetry package ASP [11], an add-on to the symmetry package DESOLVII [18]. ASP also allows particular forms of the arbitrary function F(t) to be found which extend the symmetry algebra and hence a full approximate symmetry classification of the fKdV equation is obtained. Optimal systems of one-dimensional subalgebras are also determined. Corresponding approximate invariant solutions to the fKdV equation are then constructed for particular F(t) using DESOLVII routines.  相似文献

Let M*(C) denote the C1-algebra defined as the direct sum of all matrix algebras {Mn(C):n?1}. It is known that M*(C) has a non-cocommutative comultiplication Δφ. From a certain set of transformations of integers, we construct a universal R-matrix R of the C1-bialgebra (M*(C),Δφ) such that the quasi-cocommutative C1-bialgebra (M*(C),Δφ,R) is triangular. Furthermore, it is shown that certain linear Diophantine equations are corresponded to the Yang–Baxter equations of R.  相似文献

Let V be a 6-dimensional vector space over a field F, let f be a nondegenerate alternating bilinear form on V and let Sp(V,f)?Sp6(F) denote the symplectic group associated with (V,f). The group GL(V) has a natural action on the third exterior power ?3V of V and this action defines five families of nonzero trivectors of V. Four of these families are orbits for any choice of the field F. The orbits of the fifth family are in one-to-one correspondence with the quadratic extensions of F that are contained in a fixed algebraic closure F¯ of F. In this paper, we divide the orbits corresponding to the separable quadratic extensions into suborbits for the action of Sp(V,f)?GL(V) on ?3V.  相似文献

Let R be an arbitrary integral domain, let ={λ1,,λn} be a multiset of elements of R, let σ be a permutation of {1,,k} let n1,,nk be positive integers such that n1+?+nk=n, and for r=1,,k let ArRnr×nσ(r). We are interested in the problem of finding a block matrix Q=Qrsr,s=1kRn×n with spectrum Λ and such that Qrσ(r)=Ar for r=1,,k. Cravo and Silva completely characterized the existence of such a matrix when R is a field. In this work we construct a solution matrix Q that solves the problem when R is an integral domain with two exceptions: (i) k=2; (ii) k3, σ(r)=r and nr>n/2 for some r.What makes this work quite unique in this area is that we consider the problem over the more general algebraic structure of integral domains, which includes the important case of integers. Furthermore, we provide an explicit and easy to implement finite step algorithm that constructs an specific solution matrix (we point out that Cravo and Silva’s proof is not constructive).  相似文献
