We proposed a scheme for the reconstruction of the quantum states for the center-of-mass vibrationalmode of two trapped ions. In the scheme the ions are multichromatically excited by three lasers. Then measurementof the difference between probabilities of the ions being both in electronic ground and excited states directly yields theWigner characteristic function for the center-of-mass vibrational state. The scheme can also be used to prepare entangledcoherent states for the center-of-mass and relative vibrational modes.  相似文献

Within the algebraic frame of smeared photon fields, the coherence properties of squeezed multi-photon states are elaborated. The squeezing Bogoliubov automorphisms are constructed by means of suitable one-mode symplectic transformations in the infinite-dimensional test-function space. Transposed into the state space, these transformations are shown to preserve first-order coherence when applied to coherent, classical, Fock-normal states in spite of rendering them nonclassical. The cases, where first-order coherence is destroyed, are also classified. Very special conditions on the initial state modes and on the operation parameters are worked out, under which even second-order coherence is still valid for the transformed classical coherent states, in spite of exhibiting squeezed fluctuations.  相似文献

By virtue of the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators, we derive the normal ordering expansion of a one- and two-mode combination squeezing operator for two harmonic oscillators with coordinate- momentum coupling. It turns out that this squeezing operator just diagonalizes the Hamiltonian H=p^21/2m1+m1ω^21x^21/2+p^222m2+m2ω^22x^22/2-λx2p1 so its ground state is a one- and two-mode combination squeezed state. We derive how the tripartite entangled states transform under the three-mode squeezing operators. 利用量子信息熵理论,研究了附加克尔介质的压缩真空场与二能级原子依赖强度耦合相互作用系统中场熵的压缩特性.讨论了初始压缩真空场的压缩度以及克尔非线性作用的强度对场熵压缩特性的影响.结果表明,无克尔介质量,场熵压缩的演化具有严格的周期性.克尔介质的非线性作用的强弱可以改变场熵压缩的周期性.在初始压缩真空场的压缩度较大(r=5)时,无论克尔介质作用的强弱如何变化,场熵始终处于被压缩状态.  相似文献

In this work, the thermal quantum correlations in two coupled double semiconductor charge qubits are investigated. This is carried out by deriving analytical expressions for both the thermal concurrence and the correlated coherence. The effects of the tunneling parameters, the Coulomb interaction, and the temperature on the thermal entanglement and on the correlated coherence are studied in detail. It is found that the Coulomb potential plays an important role in the thermal entanglement and in the correlated coherence of the system. The results also indicate that the Coulomb potential can be used for significant enhancement of the thermal entanglement and quantum coherence. One interesting aspect is that the correlated coherence capture all the thermal entanglement at low temperatures, that is, the local coherences are totally transferred to the thermal entanglement. Finally, the role played by thermal entanglement and the correlated coherence responsible for quantum correlations are focused on. It is shown that in all cases, the correlated coherence is more robust than the thermal entanglement so that quantum algorithms based only on correlated coherence may be more robust than those based on entanglement.  相似文献

We consider the superpositions of spin coherent states and study the coherence properties and spin squeezing in these states. The spin squeezing is examined using a new version of spectroscopic squeezing criteria. The results show that the antibuching effect can be enhanced and spin squeezing can be generated in the superpositions of two spin coherent states.  相似文献
