Experimental Study of Resonance f2(1270) in the J/ψ Hadronic Decay

Based on the 2.5 million J/ψ's collected by the BES at BEPC,through the hadronic decay J/ψ→ωf₂(1270),f₂(1270)→π⁺π^－,ω→π⁺π^－π⁰,the properties of the resonance f₂(1270) are studied:its mass,width,and branching ratio.the angular distribution is fitted with maximum likelihood methood,determining its.J^PC=2⁺⁺ and giving in the first time the helicity amplitude ratios of this process as:x=0.99±0.29; y=－0.24±0.17; z₁=0.90±0.57;z₂=0.56±0.22.     

Multi-channel Coupling in the Hadronic Decay Process J/ψ→ωπ+π－

The coupling problem of the three different intermediate processes J/ψ→ωf₂(1270),f₂→π⁺π^－ and J/ψ→b₁^±(1235)π⁺,b₁^±→ωπ^± included in the hadronic decay process J/ψ→ωπ⁺π^－ is discussed.The consideration of the coupling effect is very important for measuring the parameters of the resonances f₂ and b₁^± and the helicity amplitude ratios of these reactions precisely.     

Branching ratio of rare decay B0(Bs)→γνν

The three-body decay B⁰(B_s)→γνν can occur via penguin and box diagrams in the Standard Model (SM). These channels are useful to determine the decay constant f_B (f_Bs) and B (B_s) meson wave function. Using the B meson wave function determined in hadronic B (B_s) decays, we calculate and get the branching ratio of order 10^－9 and 10^－8 for B⁰ and B_s decay, respectively. They agree with previous calculations.     

The Spin Effect of Antiproton-Nucleus Inelastic Collison

If the antiproton optical potential is inclusive of the spin orbit interaction term,the A(p,p)A* inelastic scattering not only can excited the normal parity states,but also can excited the abnormal parity states.There are also induced the polarization P_f(θ) at the inelastic scattering.In the framework of DWIA,we derived the inelastic scattering cross section (dσ/dΩ)_f,i,and polarization P_f(θ),and calculated the (dσ/dΩ)_f,i, and P_f(θ) for ¹²C(p,p)¹²C* with 2⁺,3^－ and 1⁺ states at antiproton energies of 46.8 and 179.7MeV.They fited experiment data quite well.Due to the abnormal partity states in the inelastic process have been measured,the spin orbit term can not be neglect.     

Experimental Study of f0 (975) in the J/ψ Decays

Based on 7.8×10⁶ J/ψ events collected by the BES at BEPC, through study of the hadronic decays J/ψ→φπ⁺π^－ and J/ψ→ωπ⁺π^－, the branching ratios of the processes and the mass positions and the widths of f0 are obtained. The angular distributions of J/ψ→φf₀,f₀→π⁺π^－, are fitted and the helicity amplitude ratio of this process is first given.     

THE DIFFICULTY OF THE DECAY τ→πντ AND SPIN 3/2 HEAVY LEPTON

We discuss the suppression of the decay of heavy lepton τ into πv_τ,by assuming that τ and/or v_τ carry spin 3/2. For the case of spin 3/2 T and spin 1/2 v_τ, using the weak current ψ_μ^(τ)(a+b_^γ5)Ψ^(v_τ)we find that the πv_τ decay channel relative to the v_τv_ll^-channel is suppressed 12/5 times, while other decay channels are not changed appreciably. △R=σ（e⁺e^-→τ⁺τ^-）/σ（e⁺e^-→μ⁺μ^-） is also discussed.     

A STRUCTURE MODEL OF STRATONS AND LEPTONS

A subquark model is proposed. According to this model, stratons and leptons are consisted of rishons T and V, which are multiplets of group SU_H(3)×SU_C(3)×SU_G(2)×SU(2)×U(1). Three generations of both stratons and leptons are obtained naturally. In this model, proton decay modes are μ^－e⁺e⁺ or e^－μ⁺μ⁺.     

Determination of J/ψ Leptonic Branching Fraction Via ψ(2S)→π+π－J/ψ

Two processes ψ(2S)→π⁺π^－J/ψ,J/ψ→1⁺1^－ and J/ψ→anything are carefully studied to get the J/ψ leptonic branching fractions with the ψ(2S)data at BES/BEPC.The results are B(J/ψ→e⁺e^－)=(5.90±0.07±0.16)% and B(J/ψ→μ⁺μ^－)=(5.96 ±0.08±0.16)%,and B_e/B_μ is estimated to be 0.990±0.018±0.024.Assuming B_e=B_μ,the leptonic branching fraction of the J/ψ is B(J/ψ→1⁺1^－)=(5.93±0.05 ± 0. 16 )%.This result is used to estimate the QCD scale factor ∧(nf/MS) and the strong coupling constant α_s.     

Measurement of J/ψ→ηcγ at KEDR

We present a study of the inclusive photon spectra from 5.9 million J/ψ decays collected with the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M e⁺e^－ collider. We measure the branching fraction of radiative decay J/ψ→η_cγ, η_c width and mass. Our preliminary results are: M(η_c)=2979.4±1.5±1.9 MeV/c², Γ(η_c) = 27.8±5.1±3.3 MeV, B(J/ψ→η_cγ)=(2.34±0.15±0.40)%.

     

J/ψ Physics at BES

Based on 9.0×10⁶ J/ψ data collected at BES, a systematic physics analysis has been Performed. We confirmed the existence of ξ(2230) in J/ψ→γKK and observed for the first time the non-strange decay modes ξ(2230)→π⁺π^－,π⁰π⁰,and pp. The resonance and polarization parameters of f₀(980) and f₂(1270) were measured. The moment stUdy on J/ψ→γK⁺K^－ revealed that the controversial f_J,(1710) is composed of two states, a 0⁺⁺ and a 2⁺⁺. With the help of PWA method, the spin-Parities for η(1440) and f₀(1500) were obtained, and their main decay modes were found.     

Restudies of Searching for 1+－ Exotic State

In order to convenience for the data analysis of BES some new relations which can be used to search for the 1^－₊ exotic state in J/ψ→ωX,X→KKπ have been obtained.How to search for the 1^－₊ exotic state in the three-step two-body hadronic decay process J/ψ→ωX,X→KK*,K*→Kπ is also discussed.     

One Loop PGBs Effects on tt Production in High Energy e+e- Annihilation

The Technicolor(TC)O(αm_t²/m_w²)corrections to top pair production in high energy e⁺e^－ annihilation are calculated in the one generation TC model.The analytic expressions are given for the form factor, the renormalized matrix element and its square.Numerical examples are presented for the corrections to the total cross-section ,the forward-backward asymmetry A_FB and the left-right asymmetry A_LR.We found that the corrections can reach －12.3%, －3.3% and －11.7% to the observables,A_FB and A_LR respectively for the favorable parameter values.The level of these corrections might be achieved at the next-generation linear collider(NLC).It might open a window for testing TC theory.     

Observation of a pp mass threshold enhancement in ψ′→π+π－J/ψ(J/ψ→γpp) decay

The decay channel ψ′→π⁺π^－J/ψ(J/ψ→γpp) is studied using a sample of 1.06×10⁸ ψ′ events collected by the BESIII experiment at BEPCII. A strong enhancement at threshold is observed in the pp invariant mass spectrum. The enhancement can be fitted with an S-wave Breit-Wigner resonance function with a resulting peak mass of M=1861⁺⁶_－13 (stat)⁺⁷_－26 (syst) MeV/c² and a narrow width that is Γ<38 MeV/c² at the 90% confidence level. These results are consistent with published BESII results. These mass and width values do not match with well established mesons.

     

Study of D0→π－l+νl Decay

In this paper, the D⁰→π^－l⁺ν_l decay process is studied by applying light-cone QCD sum rules. The form factor of D→π transition is calculated by choosing a correlation function with a chiral current to eliminate the effect caused by the uncertainty of the twist-3 function of the pion. Therefore the calculated result of the form factor is improved, and the branching ratio of the D⁰→π^－l⁺ν_l decay process is consistent with the new experimental data.     

Neutral Higgs Effects on Rare Decay B→Xsl+l－ in the T2HDM

We calculate the new physics contributions to the branching ratios of the rare decays B→X_sl⁺l^－(l=e,μ) induced by neutral Higgs bosons loop diagrams in the top quark two-Higgs-doublet model (T2HDM). From the numerical calculations, we find that (a) the neutral Higgs boson's correction to B→X_sl⁺l^－ decays interferes constructively with its standard model counterpart, but small in magnitude; (b) the neutral Higgs contributions to the branching ratio of B→X_sl⁺l^－ decay can be neglected safely if their masses are larger than 100GeV and tanβ≤40.     

Structure Analysis of the l/η(1440)

By an amplitudes analysis of the KKπ system in the J/ψ radiative decay to the K⁺K^－π^O and the K⁰_SK^±π⁺ final states, we find that there is one 0^－+ resonance (M=1467±3MeV,Γ=89±6MeV) and two 1⁺⁺ resonances (M=1435±3MeV,Γ=59±5MeV and M=1497±2MeV,Γ=44±7MeV), Which are consistent with the η(1440), the f₁(1420), and the f₁(1510).     

TESTING GLUON DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION OF HADRONS IN LARGE PT PROCESS WITH DIRECT PHOTON EMISSION

In this paper we disscuse disscuse the physicsical aspect of cross-section differences Δ_AB^cγ=dσ(AB→cγX)-dσ(AB→cγX) and give the simple rules to select the elementary subprocesses which contribute to cross-section differences.
We bind a way to test the gluon distribution functions of hadrons through the measurement of cross-section difference or combination of cross-section differences in the large P_T process with direct photon emission. Moreover we obtain simple relations between each combination of cross-sections and the corresponding gluon distribution functions of proton, neutron, pion and daon:
G_p⁸(x)/(Δ_pp^hγ－Δ_pp^hγ)=G_n⁸(x)/(Δ_pp^hγ)=G_π⁸(x)/(Δ_π+p^hγ+Δ_π－p^hγ=G_K⁸(x)/(Δ_K+p^hγ+Δ_K－p^hγ)which are expected to be test in experiment.     

AN ANALYSIS OF FOUR-ELEMENT MODELS OF LEPTONS AND NON-DIAGONAL NEUTRAL CURRENTS

Due to the possible production of neutral and charge heavy leptons by v_μ, models consisting of four elements per "line", e.g. v_e, e^-, E⁰, E^- v_μ, μ^-, M^0, M^- v_τ, τ^-, T⁰, T^- ……are analysed. Non-diagonal neutral currents cannot be avoided. Nevertheless, a model is proposed within SU_（2）×U_（1） in which the process μ→eγ can still be suppressed by the Bjorken-Lane-Weinberg mechanism; various production cross-sections for heavy leptons are reasonable when compared with experiments. Models corresponding to SU_（3）×U（1） and still higher symmetries are discussed.     

Determining the Spin-Parity of the Boson Resonance X in the Process J/ψ→X+f0 (980) by Using the Generalized Moment Analysis Method

The processes J/ψ→X+f₀ (980), X→K⁺ K^－,f₀ (980)→π⁺+π^－ are discussed using the generalized moment analysis method. It is suggested that in terms of the obtained moment expressions the spin-parity of the boson resonance X can be determined by further measurements.     

Probe the Strength of Annihilation In BS→π＋π－ Decays Within QCD Factorization

Using the method of QCD factorization, we calculate the branching ratio and the CP violation for pure annihilation decay B_S→π^＋π^－ in the Standard Model. Meanwhile, we employ an effective gluon mass resulted in the study of the infrared behaviour of gluon propagators to avoid the soft endpoint divergence. We find that the CP-averaged branching ratio is about 1.24×10^－7, and the penguin diagram contributions is dominant in this process. The direct CP violation parameter is about －0.05, while the mixing-induced CP asymmetry is a quite large number of 0.18. Once these quantities can be measured in the future LHC-b experiments, studying such a process will enrich our knowledge on the dynamics of the charmless hadronic decay of B-meson and the property of gluon.
