A theory of coherent excitation of a localized state on an adatom by two-photon photoemission spectroscopy (TR-2PPE) is presented within a microscopic model and the time-dependent formalism.Coherent oscillation and incoherent population decay of the excitation are obtained,and are shown to attain well-defined lifetine constants only in the long-delay limit.In addition,we have found a competing excitation channel via electron transfer.The theory is applied to Cs/Cu (111),which reproduces a few qualitative features observed in recent experiments.The effect of atomic motion on the 2PPE spectra,which manifests dominantly as a redshift in the spectrum,has been analysed.  相似文献

In this paper, the Non-Commutative phase space and Dirac equation, time-dependent Dirac oscillator are introduced. After presenting the desire general form of a two-dimensional linear dependency on the coordinate timedependent potential, the Dirac equation is written in terms of Non-Commutative phase space parameters and solved in a general form by using Lewis–Riesenfield invariant method and the time-dependent invariant of Dirac equation with two-dimensional linear dependency on the coordinate time-dependent potential in Non-Commutative phase space has been constructed, then such latter operations are done for time-dependent Dirac oscillator. In order to solve the differential equation of wave function time evolution for Dirac equation and time-dependent Dirac oscillator which are partial differential equation some appropriate ordinary physical problems have been studied and at the end the interesting result has been achieved.  相似文献

A Bose-Einstein condensate with time varying scattering length in time-dependent harmonic trap is analytically investigated and soliton-like solutions of the Gross-Pitaeviskii equation are obtained to describe single soliton, bisoliton and N-soliton properties of the matter wave. The influences of the geometrical property and modulate frequency of trapping potential on soliton behaviour are discussed. When the trap potential has a very sinall trap aspect ratio or oscillates with a high frequency, the matter wave preserves its shape nearly like a soliton train in propagation, while the breathing behaviour, which displays the periodic collapse and revival of the matter wave, is found for a relatively large aspect ratio or slow varying potential. Meanwhile mass centre of the matter wave translates and/or oscillates for different trap aspect ratio and trap frequencies.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the Berry phase of two coupled arbitrary spins driven by a time-varying magnetic field where the Hamiltonian is explicitly time-dependent. Using a technique of time-dependent gauge transform the Berry phase and time-evolution operator are found explicitly in the adiabatic approximation. The general solutions for arbitrary spins are applied to the spin-1/2\ system as an example of explanation.  相似文献

The sensitivity of the D~0-~0 mixing parameters x and y is estimated in the wrong-sign decay D~0→K~+π~-π~0 by time-dependent amplitude analysis. The resolution of the D~0 lifetime is essential in time-dependent Dalitz analyses. The Belle II detector, which aims to collect a total integrated luminosity of 50 ab~(-1) of data, has σ = 140 fs in Monte Carlo studies, a factor of two improvement over that of Belle and Ba Bar, so the produced Dalitz signal Monte Carlo samples are smeared with this resolution. Then a time-dependent Dalitz plot fitting is performed on these smeared samples, and the sensitivity of D~0-~0mixing parameters are σ_x = 0.057% and σ_y = 0.049%. These are about an order of magnitude improvement on current experimental results, without considering background effects.  相似文献

By using the Lewis-Riesenfeld invariant theory, we have studied the dynamical and the geometric phases in a generalized time-dependent A-type Jaynes Cummings model. We lind that, compared with the dynamical phases, the geometric phases in a cycle case are independent of the frequency of the photon field, the coupling coefficient between photons and atoms, and the atom transition frequency. It is pointed out that the geometric phases in a cycle ease can be measured under the case of a stronger time-dependent photon field and a stronger coupling photon-atom system. On the other hand, the geometric phases of the model may be measured in the composition of cold atoms.  相似文献

In this letter, we propose a method for the numerical calculations of the femtosecond laser pulse passed through a subwavelength aperture. The time-dependent laser pulse is decomposed into a series of monochromatic simple harmonic waves. For the light field of the harmonic wave with a single frequency, the numerical calculation is made based on the solution of the Green's integral equation set of the electromagnetic waves. Such numerical solution is iterated for all the waves with different frequencies, and all the numerical solutions are transformed into the light fields in the time domain by inverse Fourier transform. The light intensity distributions transmitted the subwavelength aperture are calculated and the results show the propagation of the light field is along the direction of the medium interface.  相似文献

In this paper a commercial CFD (computational fluid dynamics) code FLUENT has been used and modified for the axisymmetric swirl and time-dependent simulation of an atmospheric pressure argon arc in an external axial magnetic field (AMF). The computational domain includes the arc itself and the anodic region. Numerical results demonstrate that the AMF substantially increases the tangential component of the plasma velocity. The resulting centrifugal force for the plasma rotation impels it to travel to the arc mantel and as a result, a low-pressure region appears at the arc core. With the AMF, the arc presents a hollow bell shape and correspondingly, the maximal values of the temperature, pressure and current density on the anode surface are departing from the arc centreline.  相似文献

By applying the standard analytical techniques of solving partial differential equations, we have obtained the exact solution in terms of the Fourier sine series to the time-dependent Schrodinger equation describing a quantum one-dimensional harmonic oscillator of time-dependent frequency confined in an infinite square well with the two walls moving along some parametric trajectories. Based upon the orthonormal basis of quasi-stationary wave functions, the exact propagator of the system has also been analytically derived. Special eases like (i) a confined free particle, (ii) a confined time-independent harmonic oscillator, and (iii) an aging oscillator are examined, and the corresponding time- dependent wave functions are explicitly determined. Besides, the approach has been extended to solve the case of a confined generalized time-dependent harmonic oscillator for some parametric moving boundaries as well.  相似文献

Controlling paths of high-order harmonic generation from H^2+ is theoretically investigated by numerically solving the time-dependent Schrodinger equation based on the Born-Oppenheimer approximation in orthogonal two-color fields.Our simulations show that the change of harmonic emission paths is dependent on time-dependent distribution of electrons.Compared with one-dimensional linearly polarized long wavelength laser,multiple returns are suppressed and short paths are dominant in the process of harmonic emission by two-dimensional orthogonal ω/2ω laser fields.Furthermore,not only are multiple returns weaken,but also the harmonic emission varies from twice to once in an optical cycle by orthogonalω/1.5ωlaser fields.Combining the time-frequency distributions and the time-dependent electron wave packets probability density,the mechanism of controlling paths is further explained.As a result,a 68-as isolated attosecond pulse is obtained by superposing a proper range of the harmonics.  相似文献

In this paper,we investigate some exact soliton solutions for a generalized variable-coefficients nonlinear Schrdinger equation (NLS) with an arbitrary time-dependent linear potential which describes the dynamics of soliton solutions in quasi-one-dimensional Bose-Einstein condensations. Under some reasonable assumptions,one-soliton and two-soliton solutions are constructed analytically by the Hirota method. From our results,some previous one-and two-soliton solutions for some NLS-type equations can be recovered by some appropriate selection of the various parameters. Some figures are given to demonstrate some properties of the one-and the two-soliton and the discussion about the integrability property and the Hirota method is given finally.  相似文献

Using the numerical solution of the time-dependent Schr\"odinger equation of a one-dimensional model atom in a two-colour laser field, we have investigated the effects of the potential models on coherent control of atomic multiphoton ionization. It is found that the photoelectron spectra are obviously different for the long-range (Coulomb-like) and short-range (with no excited bound states) potential model atoms, which are produced by two-colour coherent control of atomic multiphoton ionization in a few laser cycles. Our results indicate that two-colour coherent control of atomic multiphoton ionization can be observed in simulations, depending on the choice of the model potentials.  相似文献

In this article, we present a time-dependent model that enables us to describe the dynamic behavior of pulsed DC reactive sputtering and predict the film compositions of VOx prepared by this process. In this modeling, the average current J is replaced by a new parameter of Jeff. Meanwhile, the four species states of V, V2O3, VO2, and V2O5 in the vanadium oxide films are taken into consideration. Based on this work, the influences of the oxygen gas supply and the pulsed power parameters including the duty cycle and frequency on film compositions are discussed. The model suggests that the time to reach process equilibrium may vary substantially depending on these parameters. It is also indicated that the compositions of VOx films are quite sensitive to both the reactive gas supply and the duty cycle when the power supply works in pulse mode. The ‘steady-state’ balance values obtained by these simulations show excellent agreement with the experimental data, which indicates that the experimentally obtained dynamic behavior of the film composition can be explained by this time-dependent modeling for pulsed DC reactive sputtering process. Moreover, the computer simulation results indicate that the curves will essentially yield oscillations around the average value of the film compositions with lower pulse frequency.  相似文献

The coherent dynamics of dc-driven quantum-dot array with two embedded time-dependent impurities is investigated, the exact crossings and avoided crossings in the quasienergies are associated with the evolution dynamics of the electron by the introduction of the envelope lines of the site's maximum returning probability. Through a perturbative scheme, the time-dependent Hamiltonian is replaced by an equivalent static one, whose structure reveals the new quantum tunnelling mechanism in the time-periodic driving system and sheds light on the alternative interpretation of dynamic localization and delocalization.  相似文献

A spin particle subjected to any time-dependent magnetic field is investigated in detail at different magnetic field configurations. Spin flip probability, spin alignment, cyclic and noncyclic nonadiabatic geometric phases are calculated exactly and their analytical expressions are presented. Our theoretical study shows that a spin particle controlled by a resonant time-dependent magnetic field can be used as efficient controllable devices of spin switch or qubit register.  相似文献

We study the properties of Bose–Einstein condensates under a non-Hermitian spin–orbit coupling(SOC), induced by a dissipative two-photon Raman process. We focus on the dynamics of the condensate at short times, when the impact of decoherence induced by quantum jumps is negligible and the dynamics is coherently driven by a non-Hermitian Hamiltonian. Given the significantly modified single-particle physics by dissipative SOC, the interplay of non-Hermiticity and interaction leads to a quasi-steady-state phase diagram different from its Hermitian counterpart. In particular, we find that dissipation can induce a phase transition from the stripe phase to the plane-wave phase. We further map out the phase diagram with respect to the dissipation and interaction strengths, and finally investigate the stability of quasi-steady states through the time-dependent dissipative Gross–Pitaevskii equation. Our results are readily accessible based on standard experiments with synthetic spin–orbit couplings.  相似文献

This paper simulates reactive magnetron-sputtering in constant current mode in a Vanadium-O 2 /Ar system equipped with a DC power supply by adopting both kinetics model and Berg’s model.The target voltage during the reactive sputtering has been investigated as a function of reactive gas flow.Both experiments and simulations demonstrate a hysteresis curve with respect to the oxygen supply.The time-dependent variation of the target mode is studied by measuring the target voltage for various reactive oxygen gas flows and pre-sputtering times.The presputtering time increases with the increased initial target voltage.Furthermore,a corresponding time-dependent model simulating target voltage changes is also proposed.Based on these simulations,we find some relationships between the discharge voltage behaviour and the properties of the formed oxide.In this way,a better understanding of the target voltage changes during reactive sputtering can be achieved.We conclude that the presented theoretical models for parameter-dependent case and time-dependent case are in qualitative agreement with the experimental results and can be used to comprehend the target voltage behaviour in the deposition of vanadium oxide thin films.  相似文献

The relationship between quantum mechanics and classical mechanics is investigated by taking a Gaussian-type wave packet as a solution of the Schr o¨dinger equation for the Caldirola–Kanai oscillator driven by a sinusoidal force. For this time-dependent system, quantum properties are studied by using the invariant theory of Lewis and Riesenfeld. In particular,we analyze time behaviors of quantum expectation values of position and momentum variables and compare them to those of the counterpart classical ones. Based on this, we check whether the Ehrenfest theorem which was originally developed in static quantum systems can be extended to such time-varying systems without problems.  相似文献

With the help of symbolic computation, the tanh method is extended to find some new exact solutions of nonlinear Gross-Pitaevskii equation with weak bias magnetic and time-dependent laser fields. A guidance policy for controller performance enhancement utilizing mobile sensor–actuator networks(MSANs) is proposed for a class of distributed parameter systems(DPSs), which are governed by diffusion partial differential equations(PDEs) with time-dependent spatial domains. Several sufficient conditions for controller performance enhancement are presented. First, the infinite dimensional operator theory is used to derive an abstract evolution equation of the systems under some rational assumptions on the operators, and a static output feedback controller is designed to control the spatial process. Then, based on Lyapunov stability arguments, guidance policies for collocated and non-collocated MSANs are provided to enhance the performance of the proposed controller, which show that the time-dependent characteristic of the spatial domains can significantly affect the design of the mobile scheme. Finally, a simulation example illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed policy.  相似文献
