After studying in a previous work the smoothness of the space UΓ0={u∈W1,p(·)(Ω);u=0 on Γ0 Γ=Ω},where dΓ-measΓ0>0,with p(·)∈C(Ω)and p(x)>1 for all x∈Ω,the authors study in this paper the strict and uniform convexity as well as some special properties of duality mappings defined on the same space.The results obtained in this direction are used for proving existence results for operator equations having the form Ju=Nfu,where J is a duality mapping on UΓ0 corresponding to the gauge function,and Nf is the Nemytskij operator generated by a Carath′eodory function f satisfying an appropriate growth condition ensuring that Nf may be viewed as acting from UΓ0 into its dual.  相似文献

In this paper, We study a general class of nonlinear degenerated elliptic problems associated with the differential inclusion β(u)-div(a(x, Du)+ F(u)) ■ f in Ω, where f ∈ L1 Ω. A vector field a(·,·) is a Carath′eodory function. Using truncation techniques and the generalized monotonicity method in the functional spaces we prove the existence of renormalized solutions for general L1-data. Under an additional strict monotonicity assumption uniqueness of the renormalized solution is established.  相似文献

For the linear finite element solution to the Poisson equation, we show that supercon- vergence exists for a type of graded meshes for corner singularities in polygonal domains. In particular, we prove that the L^2-projection from the piecewise constant field △↓UN to the continuous and piecewise linear finite element space gives a better approximation of △↓U in the Hi-norm. In contrast to the existing superconvergence results, we do not assume high regularity of the exact solution.  相似文献

An anisotropic nonconforming finite element method is presented for a class of nonlinear Sobolev equations. The optimal error estimates and supercloseness are obtained for both semi-discrete and fully-discrete approximate schemes, which are the same as the traditional finite element methods. In addition, the global superconvergence is derived through the postprocessing technique. Numerical experiments are included to illustrate the feasibility of the proposed method.  相似文献

We study the approximation of the integration of multivariate functions in the quantum model of computation. Using a new reduction approach we obtain a lower bound of the n-th minimal query error on anisotropic Sobolev class R(Wpr([0, 1]d)) (r R+d). Then combining this result with our previous one we determine the optimal bound of n-th minimal query error for anisotropic Hblder- Nikolskii class R(H∞r([0,1]d)) and Sobolev class R(W∞r([0,1]d)). The results show that for these two types of classes the quantum algorithms give significant speed up over classical deterministic and randomized algorithms.  相似文献

To find the predual spaces Pα(R^n) of Qα(R^n) is an important motivation in the study of Q spaces. In this article, wavelet methods are used to solve this problem in a constructive way. First, an wavelet tent atomic characterization of Pα(Rn) is given, then its usual atomic characterization and Poisson extension characterization are given. Finally, the continuity on Pα of Calderon-Zygmund operators is studied, and the result can be also applied to give the Morrey characterization of Pα(Rn).  相似文献

The concepts of bi-immigration birth and death density matrix in random environment and bi-immigration birth and death process in random environment are introduced. We investigate the analytic regularity of the Stokes problem in a polygonal domain with straight sides and piecewise analytic data. We establish a shift theorem in weighted Sobolev spaces of arbitrary order with explicit control of the order-dependence of the constants. The shift-theorem in the framework of countably weighted Sobolev spaces implies in particular interior analyticity and Gevrey-type analytic regularity near the corners.  相似文献

We study complex interpolation of weighted Besov and Lizorkin–Triebel spaces.The used weights w0,w1 are local Muckenhoupt weights in the sense of Rychkov.As a first step we calculate the Calder′on products of associated sequence spaces.Finally,as a corollary of these investigations,we obtain results on complex interpolation of radial subspaces of Besov and Lizorkin–Triebel spaces on Rd.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove existence and regularity results for weak solutions in the framework of anisotropic Sobolev spaces for a class of nonlinear anisotropic elliptic equations in the whole with variable exponents and locally integrable data. Our approach is based on the anisotropic Sobolev inequality, a smoothness, and compactness results. The functional setting involves Lebesgue–Sobolev spaces with variable exponents. We study Sobolev type estimates for the approximation order resulting from using strictly positive definite kernels to do interpolation on the -sphere. The interpolation knots are scattered. Our approach partly follows the general theory of Golomb and Weinberger and related estimates. These error estimates are then based on series expansions of smooth functions in terms of spherical harmonics. The Markov inequality for spherical harmonics is essential to our analysis and is used in order to find lower bounds for certain sampling operators on spaces of spherical harmonics.

In this paper, the author studies the coarse embedding into uniformly convex Banach spaces. The author proves that the property of coarse embedding into Banach spaces can be preserved under taking the union of the metric spaces under certain conditions. As an application, for a group G strongly relatively hyperbolic to a subgroup H,the author proves that B(n) = {g ∈ G | |g|S∪H≤ n} admits a coarse embedding into a uniformly convex Banach space if H does.  相似文献

In this paper we establish an interior regularity of weak solution for quasi-linear degenerate elliptic equations under the subcritical growth if its coefficient matrix A(x, u) satisfies a VMO condition in the variable x uniformly with respect to all u, and the lower order item B(x, u, △↓u) satisfies the subcritical growth (1.2). In this paper we introduce to consideration a new type boundary value problems consisting of an ``Sturm-Liouville" equation on two disjoint intervals as $$-p(x)y^{\prime \prime }+ q(x)y+\mathfrak{B}y|_{x} = \mu y , x\in [a,c)\cup(c,b]$$ together with two end-point conditions whose coefficients depend linearly on the eigenvalue parameter, and two supplementary so-called transmission conditions, involving linearly left-hand and right-hand values of the solution and its derivatives at point of interaction $x=c,$ where $\mathfrak{B}:L_{2}(a,c)\oplus L_{2}(c,b)\rightarrow L_{2}(a,c)\oplus L_{2}(c,b)$ is an abstract linear operator, non-selfadjoint in general. For self-adjoint realization of the pure differential part of the main problem we define ``alternative" inner products in Sobolev spaces, ``incorporating" with the boundary-transmission conditions. Then by suggesting an own approaches we establish such properties as topological isomorphism and coercive solvability of the corresponding nonhomogeneous problem and prove compactness of the resolvent operator in these Sobolev spaces. Finally, we prove that the spectrum of the considered eigenvalue problem is discrete and derive asymptotic formulas for the eigenvalues. Note that the obtained results are new even in the case when the equation is not involved an abstract linear operator $\mathfrak{B}.$  相似文献
